my wasteland (a poem about a boy )
I'll leave my safe and secure home
to travel out somewhere unknown.
He stays where i long to be,
my hearts the box
he holds the key.
Finally i come to meet
my destination is in reach
i get there and he turns to leave
the mistake here made
is by me.
Now i stand here all alone
I'll never find my way back home.
I suppose to you its all just play
come to me, then run away.
My emotions you play and tear
I miss you so, please try to care
You walk away and here i stand
Alone and heartless, my wasteland
