Haruko Haruhara
Is she an alien? Galactic saviour? Glam rocker from the 1980's? No one knows. She does seem to be responsible for Naota's affliction, and is somehow connected to the strange iron-shaped robot factory looming over the town. Otherwise, she's kind of annoying.
Haruko drives a Vespa and plays a mean guitar.
Naota Nandaba
Life just hasn't been the same since Haruko Haruhara ran Naota over. For one thing, he's having a much more difficult time convincing himself that nothing exciting ever happens. Between the bizarre growths popping up from his cranium, and the mystery surrounding the impenetrable robot factory, life is one crisis after another.
Naota is very attached to his older brother, who left home to play baseball in America. He is usually seen carrying a baseball bat.
Mamimi Samejima
Ex-girlfriend of Naota's big brother, Mamimi refers to herself in the third person, plays too many video games, and gets picked on by her peers. Even the younger kids have no respect for her. Genuinely attached to Naota, Mamimi seems to want to educate him in more "adult" ways.
TV-kun
The first robot to pop out of Naota's head, TV-kun's head was soon damaged by an over-enthusiastic Haruko. Since then, this medical wonder has been delegated the household chores. TV-kun is still a battle-worthy robot; however, he has to, ingest Naota in order to access his full potential.
