My Avatar

Hi! First of all, mind the yakuzachan, I thought it sounded better than 'Yakuza-kun or yakuza-san'! Well anyway here I am, and Im an avid otaku! Especially for collecting and reading MANGAS, and ANIME FIGURINES, and many others...

I currently read Mangas: Detektif Conan/Case Closed! [in america] (Recommended!), Initial D, Hot Gimmick, Doraemon, Fruits Basket, and YOTSUBA&! (Recommended!)

While the anime figurines, I mostly buy them off the local GASHAPON! vending machines! A very good shop named TOYZ & HOBBIEZ have sold Gashapon items on the shelf, without the fear of getting the same one from the vending machine!

My new manga collection, all in 1 week!
27th AUGUST 2007

Since the last week, I have bought 2 Original (English Version) mangas, which are Hot Gimmick Volume 2 by Miki Aihara, and Initial D Volume 1 by Shuichi Shuigeno!

The rest of my new mangas are in my original right-to-left format, translated into Bahasa Melayu, my country's national language! (Country is Malaysia) I mostly buy these nowadays as they are cheaper, let me change the currency, an original english manga costs mostly USD$9.99, but here it is only worth about USD$1.50 each. (The Malay version)

So back to the mangas, I have Detektif Conan (To you Americans and possibly Brits, it is Case Closed! with the main character Jimmy Kudo). All the names are preserved in the original Japanese intention, like Ran Mouri and Shinichi Kudou, or was it Kudo? I also loved collecting Doraemon mangas since small, I have the 1~30 volumes, but I believe it got lost when we moved to another house. Damn that U-Haul! I also have 1 Bleach manga. It is totally crap. The names are all changed into some kind of Chinese dialect, like a few characters are called YuHi, QuLanFuDong, and QiaoNuZaian, but I recognised the guy with the evil jaw from the TV show (I dont really like Bleach, I bought the mangas cos my friend asked me to check if its good) At least the Bleach mangas are all wayy less than USD$1.50 each! Well well well. BTW, the Bleach mangas are printed and published by an Indonesian company. Aaaaand, Detectif Conan mangas are now available in a coloured-version, which are manga-version of the animated TV show. There are also 2-volume mangas on each of the Detective Conan movies.

Until then, see ya!
