~ Part 12 ~
Proverb: If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. In this case, If you can't say anything smart, smile and ask them how there doing.

"Wh-wh-what?" Was all I got to studder out
"I said miss you shouldn't be out of bed."

A cleaning woman had come out of the room but I could barly make out the two in the background. After hearing her talk the younger one jumped up.

"Calla! Seto shes awake!" mokuba said

The maid open the door some more and I could see seto stairing at me from behind his computer.

I put on a big smile, "So whats up with you two?" it was about all I could think of to say.

Mokuba practically ran at me. He kept saying things like. You made it and a lot of other things I couldn't make out. (he mumbled them -_-;; trying to say everything at once) I just nodded and smiled. I looked at kaiba every now and then but he had resumed his position behind is computer. *sigh* 'I guess he really doesn't care that much' I though.

Suddenly seto said something, "Mokuba, if she had just woke up then I'm sure she shouldn't be out of bed. Please take her back to her room." (Hes being nice! O_O I wonder whats up)

Mokuba took me by the hand and led me back to the room.

He was chatting up a storm, but my mind became foggy. I could only remember getting back into bed and saying goodnight to mokuba.

The blackness of my mind covered me. The bitter cold swept through my bones. I could feel the presence of another. but then there was light.

White: Calla... The time of the adren draws near. You will be called on to serve the essence. *the light started to dim* But be warned *her voice started to fade* the shdow is every watchful...

and with that it was gone. The darkness seeped into me once more. I longed to have the light back. But I could not. For I was a host to something darker than death. I just wish...

My eyes opened to a room filled with light. It must have been midday for I could hear talk downstairs. I slipped from the bed, walking to the door. I opened it a crack when I hear voices...

~in hushed tones~
Maid: She can't be human!
Butler: Why not?
Maid: I've heard her in her sleep! I don't not know of the evil she speaks. She is a demon!
Butler: nonsence. Its the feaver talking
Maid: No this was what she was saying this moring after the fever was gone.
Buter: It is just cowincidence
Maid: and I've listened. I think her heart stops while she sleeps. I can't see her breath or her pulse under the skin. Shes a demon I tell you! Thats why her uncle was looking for her. I bring her back to the dungeon...
Butler: Hardly bu...

The maid and butler and walked out of hearing distance. My heart felt so heavy. 'I guess my dreams arn't just that. I need to get away from here.' I walked as quickly and as quietly as I could down the back stairs. (the servents hall) When I heard someone coming I ducked down and hid until they passed by. With my heart pounding in my throught, I walked out into the kitchen. Grabbing one of the kitchen aprons, I tryed to blend in. Weaving between different platters of food being taken out, I made my way to the back. Smiling smartly I ditched the apron, and turned the corner where the door should be. Standing in front of it was...

(evil smile I think I'll end it here *sees danielle with her Item O.o;; ok Nevermind)

Standing in my way out the back door was mokuba. He looked like he knew I was going to be here and was waiting for me.

I sighed, "What are you doing here?" I asked
"I should be the one asking you that." He said
"Because"
"Because why?
"Beause I can"
"Because you can why?" (ug this could go on for ever!)
"I don't have time for this, please move mokuba."
"No I can't let you leave. My bro said so. I was to watch you and make sure you didn't leave until he had a chance to talk to you."
Deeply sighing, "Alright, I'll talk to him but then I need to go."
"Alright"
"alright good"
"fine"

He led me back around, into the dining room. Seto was sitting at the head of the table. Food was already set but he wasn't eating, 'He must have been waiting for us...' I though



And this is where I'll end for tonight. *yawn* boy am I tired! night everyone!
