Fair Weather for the Fair!
Kibou: After all the rain we’ve had in August, I’m glad that it’s perfect weather now. Just in time for the state fair! *dances*
Yami: It almost seems like spring instead of the end of summer! All the bad weather, all the clouds in winter.... And perfect for the fair, yes.
Kibou: I’m hoping the first day of school is like this too. *prays* I’m real excited for it all! Fair today, School in a few days! I have all my shopping done too, I guess. I went with my gramma on Wednesday, got 3 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, and some REALYY, REALLY, REALLY! .....comfy sweatpants.
Yami: Really?
Kibou: XD yes, really. THEN..... Bike rode to the mall yesterday and got 2 more pairs of jeans. (yay) So I’m pretty much all set... I just have to organize all my school stuff. Chaing the subject before I get too excited at the moment. For the fair, AND school.
Yami: It’s the cooking class, isn’t it? ^_~
Kibou: *nods* Yeah, I’ve been looking forward to getting this class since 9th grade. ^^ But anyway, I’m thinking of putting some of my first anime drawings up here that I found when I was cleaning my room. (It’s so neat and organized and whatnot now!) Shall I post them tomorrow?
Yami: If you get up in time after all the excitement of the fair, being there all day and all.
Kibou: Well, the fact that it’d be Saturday should be enough motivation to get my lazy self out of bed.
Yami: O_o That is the first time I’ve heard the words “self” referring to you and “lazy” used in the same sentence. ^^;
Kibou: *sarcastically* oh yes, what is this world coming to? XP Anyway, I’ll get to as many sites as I can before I leave.

In the midst of cleaning/organizing my room, I came across some poems I had written in the past. This one is one of my favorite songs that I did. (It’s so cute!) I revised it a bit, and the tune I'm not too sure of how it would go exactly... Hmm....

Where did Monday go?
Kibou: I’m SOOOOOOOO SORRY THAT I DIDN’T GET TO SITES YESTERDAY. V_V I went over to my friend’s house, and I was there until midnight. I couldn’t get a ride home for a long time. I’ll get to everyone’s sites today though, I PROMISE!
Yami: Even though you were over that Stefi’s for that long, it was still a good time, though.
Kibou: I know. WE played DDR on her computer. She has so many songs. There’s even the 2 opening for YGO (Shuffle) ^^ I loved that! Plus songs from Vandread, and Naruto... Bleach... Inuyasha... gawd, the list never seemed to end. ^^ We also played Mario Party on her Wii, and watched Yu-Gi-Oh, Abridged and the regular series. She’s finally getting into the series. Heehee. She’s on episode.... 24 I believe.
Yami: She’s a got a ways to go. ^^;
Kibou: Yeah... Yeah. XP I have to day, though, we got hungry, obviously so we decided to make rice. I didn’t want plain rise, so Stefi said, “Ok, you’re the amazing chef. Do what you want!” I ended up putting some chopped up ham and turkey in there, plus some different seasonings. Wow! It tasted so good! ^^ I got some to take home.
Yami: Hmmm... that should be my lunch! ^^
Kibou: Not if I eat it first! ^_~ But I got a new fan art up. It’s really funny looking, I think. It’s in pen, so there’s a few mess-ups.
Yami: It’s not bad for your first, and in pen, at midnight, half asleep! ^^

Also, last night, I had a dream with Gaara in it. O_o Older Gaara, like Shippouden age.He was at my house, and we were just talking. He didn’t say much, and wanted to keep using my computer. I don’t get it.
Yami: Your dreams are too random. XP
Kibou: Well, it keeps me thinking throughout the day. On that note, I got all my chores done yesterday (whoo!) Now I’m going to clean my room today, so I can sleep there when school starts. (I’ve been sleeping downstairs)
Yami: Shouldn’t take too long. It’s pretty clean already.
Kibou:*shrugs* But for now, I’m going to visit everyone! (Gomen again for not getting around yesterday. ><)
It’s a Miracle! Well, a Short-Lived One, at least.
Kibou: I feel like posting today! ^^; Not too say though...
Yami: Nothing much has happened in the last 24 hours.
Kibou: No, but I DID go school clothes shopping yesterday .My dad took me to the mall, and we got there at about 2:20. He said, “Let’s meet at the Food Court at 3:30.” And I was there at about 3:25. My dad didn’t show for another 20 minutes. ><
Yami: and he wanted to go home.
Kibou: Kind of stupid. Everything seems to revolve around Dad. >
Yami: Speaking of your own money, how much did you make at the garge sale?
Kibou: Well, my uncle said I made $47 the first day, and $7 the next. So that’s $54. Not too bad. ^^ I’ll get the money and whatever didn’t sell today. Yay! Otherwise, there’s lots of things to do before school. Besides that, chores. ><
Yami: Doing them all today to get it out of the way. *nods*
Kibou: Since it’s all drery out.. *looks out the window* Oh! Oh! There was a storm here at 2:30 in the morning!! *eyes light up* It was SO COOL! Lightning and thunder.... it was so close sometimes! O_o I recall once when it thundered, all the glasses rattled in my kitchen cupboards. Heehee.
Yami: I’m surprised you didn’t jump out of bed.
Kibou: Eh, too tired. I could see it out the window from the couch. ^^; Anyway, I should shut up so I can start working on my “To-Do List”.
New Stuff, Old Stuff
Kibou: Well, my aunt’s garage sale was alright. There was a lot of stuff gone. I don’t think there’s much of my stuff that sold. Just almost all my jeans.
Yami: Then you can use that money to buy some new jeans.
Kibou: Exactly. I may go back out there today, since my aunt extended the sale. I hope everything of mine goes. But yesterday, I got my Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto fix, but I was kind of disappoint with at least YGO.
Yami: It was only the ending of the 3rd season last week, so the 4th should have started. The TV Guide thing said the episode that was going to show was “the Intruder”. And it wasn’t. It was the 5-to-last-epi. Very confusing.
Kibou: and Naruto was funny, but the repeating images were bugging me. >< I guess, if it was a filler. *sigh* Oh well. What can ya do?

One Week of Freedom Left.....
Kibou: First off, I want to say thanks for those who commented on my last post! *huggles* I was feeling very stressed, your comments made things a bit easier for me. ^^
Yami: Well, there’s one more week of summer left. And it’s going to be a full one!
Kibou: Today is my aunt’s garage sale.
Yami: your cousin is selling all of his YGO cards, isn’t he?
Kibou: Yeah... I’ll be looking at some of those... ^_~ But I was busy making the signs yesterday. Lots work there! So that’s what I’m going to do today, help manage the sale. Sorry if I can’t get to sites... again! >< I’m leaving around noon, and don’t know when I’m going to be back...

Atem walked quickly down to the meeting room.
“Glad you made a full recovery, Atem.” Mahad spoke once Atem was inside the room.
“Yes, thank you.” Atem said. Once everyone was seated, the meeting began.
“This meeting was set to discuss your present and future marital status, Prince Atem.” Seto informed. Atem was a bit surprised by the subject, but kept calm and nodded.
“As you know,” Shimon added, sitting on Atem’s right-hand side, “Your eighteenth birthday is coming up.” Atem nodded once again.
“Yes.” He confirmed as Shimon continued,
“And it is written that a prince must have chosen his partner within his eighteenth year, or loose the crown to another heir.” Atem thought for a moment. “I wonder if....” his thought trailed off.
“We will have princesses from neighboring countries to come visit.” Mahad explained.
“When will this all begin?” Atem asked.
“About a week after your birthday.” Isis answered. Atem nodded, gathering his thoughts. “Alright.” He said. “As this time draws closer, we’ll begin to have some preparations done before our first visitor arrives.” All nodded in agreement. The meeting went on for a few more minutes, then soon, everyone began to leave. Atem finally let out a long breath. “I can’t believe the time has already come for me to choose my bride.” He said to himself. “I hope things go smoothly, and I can choose a good princess.” He paused. “Unless......” He thought a moment and shook his head. “Hope for the best.” He murmured as he walked out of the room. Since there was no new business, Atem went to look for Anika. He found her in her room, watching Khalil perform a trick for her using Atem’s old spinning top. Atem coughed to get her attention. Anika looked up to see Atem smiling at them from the doorway.
“Meeting’s over?” she asked. Atem nodded.
“Would you like to take a walk to a nearby village? Both of you?” Atem questioned. Anika looked at Khalil, who smiled.
“Sure.” She answered.
“You there...” One of the two soldiers guarding outside the palace wall called out.
“State your business.” The other guard demanded. The young man, who looked to be around eighteen years of age, looked at each of the guards.
“Please,” he began. “I have traveled far to reach the palace. I need to see the Prince about the people in my old village that was destroyed.” The guards looked at each other, then the boy. He seemed harmless.
“Very well.” The first guard said. “You may enter.” The doors opened as the man mumbled. “Thank you” and quickly walked inside the palace walls.

With the sun finally out after 2 weeks fo rain, (litteraly!) I think I could squueze some running in before the school year stsrts. ^^ I hope I don't see rain for a long time! ^^; I hope you all have a good weekend!
Quickly...
Hey minna! Just a small nothing update. First off, How’s the theme? It’ll be here briefly, in the mean time I’m working on a fall theme. Can you read the text here okay? Let me know if I should change something.
Secondly: I’m going to be running around a lot since I’m helping my mom’s family with this HUGE 5-family garage sale. (It can be a living hell...) So I don’t know how much I’ll be on, I don’t know if I’ll be able to post on Saturday or visit sites much! >< Gomen minna!
And lastly, I guess I’m under a lot of stress. School is starting in a week, and I have not gone clothes shopping yet, but the whole school idea has got me wound up. Plus I got a haircut a HATE. It’s still too long... I feel that Kana-chan is keeping something from me, AND here’s the great part. I keep getting these bad vibes like something’s going to happen. ><
Oh happy day..........
So I’m sorry about all this, I hope things start to get better soon!
Another Rainy Day....
Kibou: There’s not much I feel like doing when it’s all rainy outside. So Boring... I guess I’m glad that there’s a Naruto Marathon going on! (Whoo!)
Yami: If there’s nothing else on, that’s on.
Kibou: Yesterday, nothing much was on. But then again, I don’t really watch TV that much anymore. I’m usually out running around. BUT yesterday, Shell and my Dad came back from their trip up north. I got $200 for dog-sitting! !!!! O_o That’s the most money I have received at one time. (Why? My dad keeps all his money to himself) So I was grateful. And I didn’t dog-sit for the money, just cuz I’m that nice. ^^ I still can’t wait for Shelly to move in, but that’s getting away from the subject.
Yami: Yes and no... there’s not too much to talk about., is there?
Kibou: ...I opened my Yu-Gi-Oh cards I got Friday. I got 1 or 2 good ones, but this pack came with 5 bonus cards. I got one that I wanted: Rare Metal Dragon, and then 4 copies of it! >< That was a bit of a disappointment! But what wasn’t a disappointment, was the Within Temptation CD. It ROCKS!!!!! And yes, I’m listening to it now. Heehee. Glad I grabbed it. It was the last one left. LASTLY! I read a new manga, called Tetragrammaton Labyrinth. It’s very good.
Yami: It’s bout a young nun and her assistant who fight demons in London!
Kibou: I LOVE IT! I do recommend it!

Up, Down, And All Around the Town!
Kibou: Well, this week has been most interesting. Pet-sitting was fun, (Pics of Bingo above ^^) but the garage sale I wanted to have this week didn’t turn out. >< Oh well... what else is there.....?.
Yami: There was a storm here Monday. There was wind, rain (obviously) and hail even.
Kibou: And me, being the weather freak that I am, ran outside with my camera when I heard the tornado sirens go off, even thought there wasn’t one!.
Yami: I swear, you’re going to be blown away one of these times! -_-; other than that, Friday was pretty much the only real good day, though.
Kibou: Ha! It ROCKED! Bike ride! I went to see this new funky bridge that just opened. (it was pretty funky) XD Since it wasn’t too far, I went and visited my mother’s gravestone. ^^ That was cool. Then I went to Target and bought 3 random things: A pack of YGO cards, the new Within Temptation CD, and a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Lemon Biscotti Truffle Bar. ((^^ Yummy.))
Yami: ....wanna run that by me again?
Kibou: Um.... dark chocolate-y goodness? Also, I made some ramen, read some new manga, and ended the day with some nice Chai tea. Perfect. =D

Atem met Anika on the palace roof the next morning, just as they did the first time Anika practiced with her power.
“Remember the basic one from last time?” Atem asked. Anika nodded, already in the correct stance. She closed her eyes, held her arm out in front of her, and concentrated on where her energy flowed within her. Just as before, the air around Anika began to whirl around. Anika breathed deeply as her energy appeared as an orb in front of her hands. Atem raised his eyebrows as he saw Anika almost loose control, but maintained and stood her ground. She slowly opened her eyes to see what exactly was going on. When she saw her power in front of her, she smiled, but it caused her to break her concentration. Anika lost her balance and stumbled backwards before Atem ran and caught her by the arm and waist.
“Nice catch...” Anika breathed. Atem smiled down at her.
“That was very good!” he told Anika as he helped her get completely back on her feet. Once Anika was stable, Atem asked, “Ready to give it another try?” Anika smiled and nodded. A few hours later, Anika could summon her power more easily. “You’re really catching on!” Atem had said once Anika had successfully returned her power to its normal flow inside her. Anika smiled and laughed a little.
“This.... is really incredible.” She sighed and looked left towards Atem. “Thanks for helping me through all this.” She added.
“It’s no problem.” Atem assured her, walking towards her. “In fact I ---”
“Prince Atem?” A guard was heard.
“Yes?” Atem called back as the guard appeared.
“There is a meeting that is about to take place, my Prince.” He informed Atem. “What are you doing up here on the roof?” the guard asked. Atem looked back at Anika and smiled. Anika retuned his smile with her own.
“Nothing unimportant...” He winked at Anika, making her giggle. Atem turned back to the guard. “I’ll be down in a minute.”
“Yes sir.” The guard bowed and was gone. Atem turned to Anika once again.
“Do you want to continue later on today?” he asked, Anika thought a moment, then shook her head.
“Maybe tomorrow.” Atem nodded.
“Right. You’ve done a lot today, and have improved greatly.” Anika smiled. Neither spoke for a moment. Atem sighed, “I best be going now.” He finally said. Anika nodded as Atem turned and left Anika alone on the roof.
A young man looked to the horizon as a small breeze blew through his dark brown hair. He could see the palace in the distance. Shielding his eyes, he spoke,
“I said that I would always remember you, and one day I would find you again..... Anika....”
