2 days down, 5 to go!
Well, since I’m going on and on about my dog-sitting with Bingo, I decided to post some pictures of him to show ya who I’m talking about! ^____^ He’s such a cool dog.
Here’s a close up. Can you see? His eyes are different colors!! The left is blue, and the right is brown with a smudge of blue.
Hope ya’ll enjoyed that!
But also, I have some new work up (again!) heehee. Could I please get some feedback? Tell me how I did!
Dance The Night Away....
Kibou: Yesterday was pretty fun. Dad and Shelly left to go up north.
Yami: So the dog-sitting begins!
Kibou: He’s been pretty good so far! Also yesterday, I went with my grandparents to their church’s Fun Festival. We mainly stayed in the tent with the band playing. And there was a dance floor. So....
Yami: Guess what Kibou was doing... for 3 hours?!
Kibou: Yeah, I was dancing for 3 hours... ^^; It was really fun! But I was so wiped out at the end! Heehee. Sorry I didn’t get around to many sites, now you know why! And since I went to the festival, I missed Anime Night. Which was fine, I didn’t feel like watching it. But I got to see Yu-Gi-Oh! (yay) That epi was good. Lots of good strategies been thrown around. ^^ And I fell asleep watching the Yu-Gi-Oh Movie last night.
Yami: Double yay! XP
Quote of the Week:“Through any and all circumstances, you are never truly alone.”
Video of the Week: Where Will You Go My Pharaoh? {TeaxYami}
This vid is from Anzu’s point of view. It really goes well with what was happening in the 4th season. ^^
Guess that’s it. I got two new wallpapers up, if anyone’s interested. I’ll put the link for them up again.... there! Please check them out! =D
Slow Yet Fast Week?
Kibou: It was a quiet week these past 7 days.
Yami: not too much really going on.
Kibou” Yesterday would be where all the “action” was. I tagged along with Lisa when she went school clothes shopping. I found that I had a Hot Topic gift card with $20 on it, so I bought a cool tank top with it. ^^ So that was cool.
Yami: Another part of the “action” was a pending phone call to see if Kibou got a job.
Kibou: Yeah. They were going to call either way if I got the job. Guess what? .... they never called. So I didn’t get the job. T_T I was, and still am really disappointed! *sob* I really want to thank all of you for wishing me luck through it all *glomps everyone* It really meant a lot to me.
Yami: There are more jobs out there, and one last thing to talk about.
Kibou: Last night, a HUGE storm hit us. It was SO COOL! Lightning, thunder, um... rain... ^^; No one was hurt, except our mailbox. Most likely, a truck hit it in the midst of the strom. that or some punk hit it. But whatever. Moving along...

“Anika,” Atem began, “I have some news I must tell you...” Anika’s smiled faded a bit.
“Is something the matter?” she questioned. Atem shook his head. “It’s just what happened a few days ago. What events took place.”
“Oh.” Anika said, and waited for Atem to continue.
“The two villages that were fighting, it all began over someone stealing a horse from the neighboring village.” He looked at Anika. “Guess who was behind it.” The look Atem gave her instantly gave Anika the answer.
“No way...” she breathed. “Bakura?” Atem nodded this time.
“Bakura’s men suddenly appeared and had all the villagers surrounded. Bakura and I were to battle, for the fate of those people.” He sighed. “And also, for the fate of Egypt’s future. If I won, those people would have been killed, and if Bakura won... he’d take the throne. And I knew there was any way I’d let him get what he truly wanted.” Anika leaned in a bit as Atem told her how the battled played out.
“I thought I had sensed something earlier today.” Anika mentioned. “You really were in danger.” Anika looked at Atem with deep concern. Atem looked back at her, and put on a small warm smile.
“But I have to thank you, Anika.” He told her. “You gave me the strength to defeat Bakura.” Anika returned Atem’s smile, but soon disappeared.
“But what about the villagers?” she asked worriedly.
“Everyone is safe.” Atem assured her. “Mahad put a freezing spell on Bakura’s man.” He paused. “Strange thing is.. All the men disappeared. Like they were only spirits tied down by a spell, or a curse.”
“Strange...” Anika repeated in a whisper. Atem stood and looked out into the horizon, creating a silence.
“It’s all in the past now.” He said smiling, breaking the silence. Anika stood up as well and walked up beside Atem.
“Now there’s something I want to tell you.” Anika spoke.
Atem turned his attention to her.
“Yes?”
“Over the last few days, I’ve been watching Mana and Mahad practice their magic.” She paused for a moment. “And I figured that it was time again to pick up where I left off on my own training.” She smiled.
“Ah! That’s right.” Atem remembered. Anika continued,
“I want to control this power this... thing inside of me. Before something else happens, and I’m not able to recover, of someone tries to take it away from me.... anything...” Atem nodded.
“Alright. We’ll start whenever you’re ready.”
“Ready when you are, Atem!” she smiled.

Last Time’s trivia answer: Weevil (Man, I hate that little bug...)
Congrats to:
YamiLover03
This week’s Trivia: Who said, “I know what will make all this waiting go by faster, a game. And it’s called Guess My Facial Hair!”
Good Luck!
This week is going to be interesting. I get to pet-sit Bingo. ^^ Hope everything goes well. He’s a good dog. Hyper, but good.
^____^
Ok, I guess I do have a little bit of news. ^^ During all next week, I’m going to be taking care of Shelly’s dog, Bingo! And if Shelly’s townhouse doesn’t sell by the end of October, she’s going to start moving in, and then she and my dad are going to get married. =D So yeah. In my little world, I had my interview for a cashier job for JCPenny. I’ll know on Friday if I got the job or not. *crosses fingers* Wish me luck, I really need this job, and have been looking for so long! ^^
Back Once Again
Well, a lot happened over the past 4 days. Kana-chan and I went up to my grama’s trailer as planned on Wednesday morning, and returned around 5 last night. The first thing that Kana-chan and I do when we get of there? Shopping! ^^ One of the places we went into was a coffee shop, a store, and a mini-library all in one. Here’s the creepy part: The store had and upstairs to it, and when we were up there, a kid passed us. He couldn’t have been more then 11 or so. But he gave me a look that gave me a chill. I got a really bad vibe from him. O_o We left there soon after. But even after we met my aunt and grama down the street for pizza, I couldn’t shake the feeling from that kid! >< Kana-chan said it must have been a demon or evil spirit in disguise. BUT THERE”S MORE! Kana-chan and I decided to venture out into the golf course, where we later found a dirt road. BOTH of us felt something evil lurking around. (CREEPY!) We went back to the trailer after that. On Thursday, Kana-chan wanted to see where the dirt road went, so we went, and came of a paved road. We started walking, and about 15 minutes later, I saw someone out of the corner of my eye for a second, and then they suddenly disappeared. O_o Am I being stalked by spirits or something? Anyway, onto normal everyday thing, ne? Um... Oh! on Thursday, at the (haunted) ^_~ j/k) coffee shop, I tried some Chai tea, which is just a type of spiced tea with milk, and a cranberry with white chocolate biscotti. ^^ It was really good! I went back and got more yesterday before we left. Heehee. Kana-chan said I sounded like Rachel Ray (from the Food Network) when I was trying the tea, since I was explaining all the different flavors. XP Friday was really exciting. Kana-chan and I went go-cart riding. ^^ We got the really fast ones, too. (yay) There was a craft sale going on on the other side of town, so I got dragged along with Kana-chan and my family there. Kana-chan started talking with this woman who was selling jewelry, and we got on the subject of her job, and I said I didn’t have one. The woman hoped I would get a job soon. No later, my dad called for me on my grama’s cell phone, and he said that I had gotten a message from JCPenny about a job interview! *dances* I went back to the woman, and she said that she had prayed for me after I left. *feels special* That was so nice of her. ^^
All in all, the trip was pretty ok. It had its ups and certainly its downs. (not getting into that!) I love Nisswa, MN, but I’m glad to be home *hugs minna* Anyway... *looks at post* Oops! Sorry for taking up so much of your time, I meant for this to be so much shorter! Shutting up now, I’ll be goin’ around to sites now!
PS. My interview is tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Wish me luck please!! ^_^
Laterzz!
I’m about to go on my trip up to the traile. Just wanted to say “Bye!” ^^ I’ll miss ya! I’ll be back late Saturday, and I may post on Sunday. See ya’ll soon! Bye! *waves*
New News, Neighbors, and Supplies
Kibou: It’s amazing. My dad and I actually went school supply shopping yesterday! *long gasp* There’s just a couple of binders I need yet. ALSO! My new neighbors moved in yesterday! No one my age, though. Just kids that I saw. I may go and introduce myself today. We’ll see!
Yami: And the other news, the trip with Kana-chan has been put back to Wednesday morning, instead of Tuesday afternoon. Bummer.
Kibou: Another 12 hours of being with my jerk-ish father. Great. (heehee. ^_~) I’ll survive, I have anime. OH! Naruto was... alright, I guess. More of the plot is set in the new episode yesterday. I’m looking forward to it.
Yami: And with Yu-Gi-Oh Yami Marik is being well..... Yami Marik. Enough said. ^^; As the duel continues for another episode.
Kibou: Uh-huh. Well put, Yami. XP
Quote of the Week:The only way you can go forward by going back, is walking backwards.
Video of the Week: Yugi’s Gotta Get Thru This!
I’m not sure what’s going on today. There’s the grocery store (we have nothing to eat! X_x) And I think Shelly is coming over. She’s going to talk to me about taking care of her dog for a week while she and my dad are out of town. ^_^ And I gotta plan for the vacation. Food costs more up there then down here! So there’s nothing to stop from getting to sites today (yay) So I’ll be around!
A Vacation From Vacation
Kibou: I’m baaaack! And I’m pretty glad I am.
Yami: Duluth wasn’t too great this year.
Kibou: Wednesday was nothing too exciting ‘cept a few large boats going under the Aerial Lift Bridge. The hotel we stayed at in Superior, Wisconsin had the continental breakfast and WOW! it really sucked. >< Really bland tasting food. The city was grungy, too.
Yami: Thursday it rained. Actually, it POURED.
Kibou: It canceled the plan to go on the 7-mile hike to Minnesota’s highest point on Eagle Mountain. Ugh... not fair. I went to the shops and saw some really cool stuff. I couldn’t buy anything cause dad says we’re “broke”. (But that’s a different story for a different post.) Eating was good, though. There was ice cream, Grandma’s Saloon and Grill, and Old Chicago.
Yami: Pizza, burgers and fries. Yum. And Friday was the end of the “fun”
Kibou: I wasn’t in the best mood yesterday. My dad was just pissing me off, like he always does in countless ways. Probably that and lack of nutritional food and activity. I’m not going to eat for a month, I swear. >< so full. Overall, I didn’t like my trip. Next year will be a million times better.

Anika ran towards the opening palace gates.
“You’re back!” she said enthusiastically, Mana and Khalil coming behind her. She slowed to a fast walk as everyone started to come in “I was beginning to worry, you all were...” She trailed off as she saw Atem get off his horse and walk slowly towards her. “Atem...” she breathed. She met him right inside the gate. Anika could now see dirt on his face and on his clothes, his eyes weary. “Atem, what happened? Are you okay?” Atem nodded.
“I’ll be fine.” He assured her. “I just need some rest. I’ll tell you what happened later.” Anika nodded. All the horses were led back to the stables by a couple of guards. Khalil was standing next to Anika, while Mana was talking with Mahad. Atem looked around and sighed. He began to step forward, but Anika stopped him.
“Hold on,” She said. Anika took Atem’s left arm and put it around her shoulders. “I’m not going to let you stagger into the palace.” She said with a smile. Atem responded with a smile of his own.
“Me either!” Khalil beamed as he held onto Atem’s other arm. A few minutes later, they were all in Atem’s room, Atem sitting on his bed. A servant walked into the room with some water and placed it beside Atem’s bed. Atem thanked him as the he bowed silently and left the room.
“I’ll leave you to rest...” Anika spoke, breaking the silence.
“All right” Atem replied. Anika was to the doorway when she heard Atem call, “Anika?” She turned back around. “Thank you.” Atem said. “For all that you did today.” Anika smiled.
“No problem.” Came her reply as she left the room.
The next day Khalil found Anika sitting by Atem’s bedside, Atem still resting. Khalil entered the room quietly and stood beside Anika.
“Can you make him better?” he asked in a whisper. Anika remembered how she healed Atem a while back. She sighed.
“No, I can’t do anything...”
Atem woke up late the day after, with every ounce of strength back. He stretched and got up. He figured some fresh air would fully wake him up, so he went up on the roof. Anika was already there, lying down and watching the clouds go by. Atem smiled and quietly walked up to her. He looked down at her suddenly.
“Come here often?” he said playfully. Anika gasped and jumped up.
“Atem! You’re all right!” she exclaimed and threw her arms around his neck. She suddenly let go, a little embarrassed for jumping on him like that. Atem laughed and nodded,
“Yes, quite all right.” but then became a little more serious. “Anika,” he began, “I have some news I must tell you...”

Last week’s trivia answer: Tristan and Duke
Congrats to:
Shizuka467 // Ms. Bakura Ishtar
Jesus Freak // Dunpeil Dueliest
This week’s trivia: Who said, “ You're only half the duelist I remember! Is that cause you lost your other half?!”
Good Luck!
In other news, another vacation is coming up this week. (One without the jerk I have to call “my father”) Kana-chan and I are going up to my Gramma’s trailer Tuesday to Saturday. So I’m not going to be around to get to sites in the week, gomen! There’s not going to be a post next Saturday, either. Maybe Sunday. We’ll see.
Another Last-Minute Trip! Duluth, here I come!
Kibou: First off, my cousin’s b-day went pretty well. I could tell he liked my card, even if it was something I made that morning on the computer, and it didn’t have any money in it.
Yami: It’s the thought that counts, and you’re like his big sister.
Kibou: Yeah. Also on Sunday, I watched the Finale of “The Next Food Network Star”. The person I was rooting for, Amy, won! *happy dance* I can’t wait for her show, Gourmet Next Door . ^^
Yami: What will be the name of your show?
Kibou: I don’t know that! I don’t know if I’ll even get up therein the final 11! *sgih* Monday nothing happened, Tuesday Kana-chan came over and wee discussed the trip up to my Gramma’s trailer. And today, Wednesday, I’m going up to Duluth! (note the subject line) I love it up there. All the cool shops and places to eat.
Yami: Continental breakfast, comfy beds um....... continental breakfast..... ^^;
Kibou: Yeah... let’s go with that. So anyway, I’m leaving around 4:00, so if anyone updates tonight, gomen! I ‘m not going to able to get to your sites! I’ll be back on Friday, and do the long post that everyone runs away from on Saturday.
Yami: So here’s an AMV to pass the time!
SUPERSTAR! (by K-pop artist - Jewlery)
(I shall learn the dance to this song)
I’ll get to sites until 3:30-ish. But I gotta finish packing! *runs to fill her suitcase*
Food Network, a party, and what else?
Kibou: Today is going to be AWESOME! The finals for “The Next Food Network Star” is on tonight! ^^ I’ve been forever waiting to see this!
Yami: And one day, you’ll be on there, am I right?
Kibou: Heck yes! If I get to the final two, I’ll tell everyone and you can all vote for me. ^^; heehee. I have to graduate from culinary college first... Anyway, today I’m going to my cousin Justin’s birthday party. Before I forget, sometime this week I am going with his family for a boat ride on this HUGE LAKE! It covers about 14,000 acres. Shall be fun. On to yesterday.
Yami: Well... 4kids completely skipped the Virtual world arc, plus 99% of the Battle City Finals. Don’t know why, but it was kind of a disappointment!
Kibou: I was looking forward to those episodes... T_T They better be available in a whole-season-box-set soon! *prays* PLEASE! And PLEASE let the next Naruto episode be action-packed!
Yami: Last night’s episode was a filler. There have been better ones, there have been some that are worse.
Kibou: So anime night for me was kind of blah. Oh well. Gotta accept what ya get, I suppose!
Quote of the Week:When you say we can do it, I’m behind you 100% of the way. When you say we can‘t, I hit you upside the head.
Last thing: I had a strange dream last night where I was trying to make up a game with YUGO cards. It was like playing Dominos, Solitaire, and Duel Monsters, all in one game. XD I wish I remembered how to play that. Heehee
