Bunches of STUFF!
Kibou: Wednesday was good. I was unable to get a DDR pad. BUT! Good news, I got my class schedule! *dances*
Yami: Never thought you’d be excited for school.
Kibou: Me either. It happened over the summer, I guess. But I got a bunch of good classes, with my favorite, a Hotel/Restaurant/Baking class. (Which shouldn’t surprise anyone. XD) and... I can’t remember what happened Thursday.... O_o
Yami: We walked to Office Max, Target, and Chipotle for lunch.
Kibou: Oh yeah. Seeing what school supplies cost. I hope prices don’t go up too much. And Friday? Oh, what a day. I found out that Stephi couldn’t make it over here because he dad was working all day yesterday. She never asked if she could get a ride so she decided to do her own thing. Kana-chan and I are not very happy with her. It caused me a bunch of stress but dancing, walking 3 miles, and a bit of cooking helped work it out.
Yami: Today will be better with some good anime and grocery shopping.
Kibou: Yay for grocery shopping! XD

“You know the plan, right?” One of Bakura’s men said, the army still surrounding the villagers. They all nodded. “Right.” The same man said. “Kill them all!!” he shouted. Panic arose from the villagers at the words.
“Freeze spell!” Mahad called out. Immediately, Bakura’s robed army stood motionless, swords and weapons still ready to strike. Everything seemed to stand still.
“Prince!” Mahad called out as he raced his horse over to Atem, who was making his way to the villages. “Are you all right?” Mahad asked. Atem nodded. He looked at the villages. “So Bakura wasn’t lying.” Atem thought. “He was going to kill everyone if he lost.”
“What of Bakura?” Seto asked.
“Bakura...” Atem said. “has been defeated. He won’t trouble Egypt anymore.”
“Just as well.” Seto broke in. “Now we have to get rid of these fools,” he gestured to the motionless men as he and Mahad faced them. “I invoke the power of the Millennium Rod to...” Seto trailed off as the Rod sensed something.
“What’s wrong?” Shada asked.
“Something is amiss. These aren’t usual solders.” He looked around at all of them. “Mahad,” he began, “Remove your spell from that man.” Seto finished, pointing ahead of him. Mahad hesitated, but finally spoke,
“Thee is the only one I release!” Mahad’s spell disappeared from the man. As soon as the spell was completely gone, the robe fell upon itself in a heap. Everyone’s eyes grew wide. Seto walked over and kicked the robe.
“Nothing is here.” He said. Mahad removed his spell completely. All the “men” did the same as the first, and collapsed in a heap. “This a trick by Bakura!” Seto declared. Atem had to disagree.
“These men must not have been men at all. Just spirits controlled by Bakura. Since Bakura is defeated, they all were unleashed. Mahad’s spell was only keeping the robes in place.”
“Yes” Isis suddenly spoke up. “What Atem says is correct. My necklace just gave me a vision of the truth.” Soon after, the villagers came out of their homes to thank the priests. Atem went to sit and rest. Through the commotion, a small girl walked shyly up to Atem. She held out some bread for him. Atem smiled at her. “Thank you,” he said as he took it. The girl gave him a big smile back.
“Let’s move out!” Seto said. Atem got up on his horse as everyone left to a large applause from the villagers.
Anika stood atop the palace roof, worried. “They’ve been gone for quite some time.” She thought. She sighed and closed her eyes, wondering. She suddenly heard far-off yelling. She opened her eyes and peered into the distance. The priests were coming back! She smiled when she saw Atem riding along with them.
“They’re back!” she said in a light voice. In a burst of excitement she ran down to greet them all.

Last Week’s Trivia answer: Yami! Congrats to:
Auska-104
This week’s Trivia: Who in the series likes Shizuka/Serenity? (get one of two) Good Luck!
Just to kill some time with some news...
Kibou: What’s happened so far this week? And do you care? didn’t think so! ^_~ j/k! Actually, I do have news this week. On Monday, I went to Petsmart with Kana-chan and she got a kawaii guinea pig! ^^ Her name is Charlotte Victoria.
Yami: An interesting name for a pet, since Kana-chan picked different names for her hamsters. Honey... Blueberry... Lokita...
Kibou: That’s Kana-chan for ya! .Also on Monday, Bingo stayed over! (Dad’s fiancce’s dog) Tuesday I took him for a walk right in the morning. Wow! It was muggy out. >.o Yami: Which wasn’t too enjoyable...
Kibou: Stupid humidity... But here’s something strange. I noticed that my next-door neighbors 964hadn’t been outside for a while. They stayed inside a lot, but the 5 kids would come outside at times, but there was no activity whatsoever.
Yami: So we went and investigated yesterday. Turns out that they had moved. Gone in a flash. The house was empty when we looked in a window.
Kibou: That house is cursed, I swear..... >.> <.< That’s the 2nd family that moved unexpectedly from that place.
Yami: Maybe... but later we found out that it turned into a rental home and there’s a new family moving in on Friday.
Kibou: *gets on knees* PLEASE! Let it be a girl my age who is obsessed with anime!
Yami: We’ll find out on Friday. Can you wait “that long”?
Kibou: No! ^_~ But Friday should prove to be eventful. I was planning on having a party Friday, remember? Well, it didn’t really work out. But it’s going to be Kana-chan and our friend Stephi over here for a get-together.
Guess that’s about it. I’m going to lunch with my grandma later on (free lunch! yay) and I’m hoping I ca drag her to Toys’r’us to grab a DDR pad. (I miss doing DDR.....*sniff*)
Awesome Anime Night!
Kibou: I’m going right for the anime!
Yami: Look out, she’s a bit hyper this morning!
Kibou: The Yu-Gi-Oh that was on yesterday was the very first episode I ever saw. It’s actually how I got into it. ^^ It was seeing the ol’ classic again (for me anyway)
Yami: It’s like one of those flashbacks that seem to pop up everywhere in every show. =P
Kibou: Like in Naruto! Too many flashbacks. But not in yesterday’s episodes! Both were new for me, since I was away last week. But OMG! I loved both so much! They were completely action-packed! I’ve said it a million times, but still, Tsunade rocks! She’s pretty tough. (yay) I want to watch it all over again!
Yami: Isn’t there something else you wanted to say? ^_~
Kibou: Oh, right! Well, I went to Target and filled out an application. Right away, I had to go in for 2 interviews. O_o I was SO unprepared! But I think it went well. I’ll know in about a week if I’ll have a job or not.... there were a lot of interviews today, they said. Hopefully having my dad work for Target for 20 years will give me an edge? *crosses fingers* I need money for college!
Yami: Now you need extra luck!
Quote of the Week:”Today’s rain is tomorrow’s sunshine.”
Video of the Week: Sarah McLachlan - Angel
Thanks! My InuYasha wallpaper, for one brief and shining moment was the most popular, and my e-card made it to the homepage! *hugs everyone* Thanks!
I was planning on submitting two more fan arts, but they’re not done. >< Sorry, guys. I promise to have them up sometime this week! There’s a wallpaper I’m working on, so look out for that as weel! (I might throw in a few e-cards ^_~) who knows! Heehee. XD
Something finally happened!
Kibou: Well, the latter part of the week were a little more exciting. Lisa (or Kana-chan, as she wants to be called) came over on Thursday and ended up sleeping over. =D I invited her over for ramen, it turned into a sleepover. After ramen, we watched “The Last Mimzy”. It was a really good movie, I liked it! THEN there was Dairy Queen. THEN we were up until 1 AM just talking about ghosts... vampires... boys... spirits...
Yami: So the “normal” stuff with you two?
Kibou: Yeah. But Kana-chan scared me half to death at one point. I was really tired, and she asked if I was sleepy. I kind of mumbled “yes” Then she said, “IF YOU FALL ASLEEP, BAKURA WILL GET YOU!” I gasped and shot out of the chair (where I was going to sleep) But geez! When I’m hald asleep, don’t mention stuff that scare me! O_ o
Yami: Girls..... But you know Bakura wasn’t going to get you. Not with me around. ^^
Kibou: ... still scared me though. But yesterday was fun. I woke up at 7:30, and since Kana-chan doesn’t wake up until 10:30, I went for a quick bike ride. (It was nice out!) A did a few other things, but once she got up and we had breakfast, we I walked to Target, then went to Petsmart. I saw that they had job openings at Target, so I’m going to reregister, and try and get one of the jobs!
Yami: They better hire you! You’ve been looking for a while for one.
Kibou: Wish me luck, please!

Atem shielded his eyes from the bright Egyptian sun as he escaped the underground room.
“Now that that’s over...” Atem began. “Time to figure out how to get back.” He looked to the sky once again. It was after midday, the sun was headed to where it would set on the horizon. Atem knew that the palace faced south, so he had to make sure that the sun would always be to his right as he headed north. Atem only hoped he wasn’t too far away, and that he wouldn’t miss his target. “I should have asked Bakura for directions.” Atem gave a small chuckle to amuse himself. “But knowing him, he would have lied.” Atem said as he followed his own direction.
Back at the twin villages, Isis and the other priests were tense. They did not know where Atem was, plus Isis had predicted that Bakura’s men were going to attack, the question was when.
“Never let your guard down.” Shada had instructed. “We need to be ready, for these people’s sake.”
Atem had been walking for quite some time as he approached a large dune. There was no way to go but up. Even though he was exhausted, Atem climbed the sandy dune. Once he was at the top, Atem’s eyes widened and he smiled a bit when he saw what lie on the other side. The two villages! Atem let out a sigh of relief. Everyone in the area saw Atem appear over the hill.
“It’s Prince Atem!” everyone exclaimed.
“You know the plan, right?” One of Bakura’s men said to the others. The army was still surrounding the villagers. The robed men all nodded. “Right.” The same man said. “Kill them all!!” he shouted.

This week’s trivia: Who said, “Bakura, you player killing scumbag!”?
Good Luck!
Boring....
Kibou: This week has been pretty boring, even if I didn’t compare it to last week.
Yami: Well, there’s more things that are going to happen a bit later.
Kibou: Yeah, let’s hope that they all work out. I was thinking of having a party at the end of this week, but only 2 people have responded. Ugh.... >< I hate that. Maybe I could ask Lisa to bug everyone else on myspace. XD
Yami: It could work.
Kibou: Let’s hope so! I want to see all my friends again. ^^ Anyway, I got in my old routines yesterday. I did my chore of cleaning yesterday. Vacuuming, dusting, and sweeping the whole house. (Oh... what joy...) and I was planning on going running today. (yay!) My dad called the Driver’s Ed. Behind-the-wheel place, and now I’m on the active list. So hopefully, I can get my license! *dances*
Yami: Everyone, off the road! XD
Kibou: Hey, I can drive just fine.
Yami: You almost crashed a golf cart into a tree up north.
Kibou: I just wasn’t used to it yet! And if I get my license before my friend Michael, I’ll win our bet, and he’ll have to buy us ice cream! (It’s on, now!) But I guess that’s it for an update. I posted a new InuYasha wallpaper yesterday. =D Please check it out! Hosted By theOtaku.com.
I’ll get to sites in a bit, but now, it’s breakfast time! ^^
Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!
I’m Back A Bit Early!!!!
Kibou: *huge super-special-awesome huggles everyone* Hey Minna! I’m back, and I missed you all the past week! ^^ My vaction was overall good, but of course, it had some downs to even things out. The only bad thing was my cousin absolutely annoying the crud out of me! I felt I was baby-sitting half the time! But onto the good things, Since I was gone over the 4th of July holiday, I went to fire works up there! It was cool because it was over a lake! I tried to get some pictures, I wonder if they’ll turn out. That was on the 2nd, and on the 3rd I went to the 4th of July parade up there. There were Go-Karts, a bit of swimming, and sleepin’ under the stars. ^^
Yami: But something weird happened one night, didn’t? And you went inside the trailer?
Kibou: Oh yeah! I was reading the book Intensity. A girl goes to her friend’s parent’s house with her friend, and all but the girl get killed by this guy who drives a motor home. My grandma came outside to my tent and asked if I wanted to sleep inside. She said she heard some people walking around outside. I went inside so my grandma wouldn’t worry. When I come out, to my right a see.... a motor home. O_O. Creepy! But speaking of driving, my uncle let me drive the family’s golf cart. And I almost ran into a tree! XD My 7-11 year-old cousins trying to backseat drive didn’t help.
Yami: They just bugged you to no end. *sarcasm* How did you ever survive?
Kibou: I wanted to live to tell the tale, I guess. XD But now, here’s some weird stuff. First off, I had some weird dream about Yugi and... a pop-tart. DON’T ASK! It’s probably because I took one and stashed it in my suitcase for the next morning. I didn’t really understand the dream myself! XD
Yami: Your dreams are just too weird... too complicated to really understand. =P
Kibou: Here’s something strange: I kept having déjà vu up north. My sixth sense was going a bit crazy. O_o It was a bit strange. Plus I felt like someone was watching me a lot of the time. I don’t know if any of you believe in that stuff, but it’s what was going on between all the excitement. And that’s about it! I’m going to get back in my good old Otaku habit, and get to some sites! And I just want to quick thanks for all the comments to my last post! *huggles minna*
Hope you all have a good week!
Change of Plans, Bon Voyage!
Well, there was a change in plan! Now I’m leaving in about... oh, I’d say 5 minutes to go up north. ^^ I’m waiting for my aunt and uncle to come pick me up. The first few days are going to be rainy, but the rest of the week is going to be fine. I’ll be back sometime early next week, say Monday or Tuesday perhaps. I’ll miss you all! *huggles everyone*
And if you celebrate the holiday, I hope you all have a fun and safe Fourth of July! Why am I stopping there? Any holiday within the time that I’m gone, I hope it’s fan and safe! heehee
Full Day!
Kibou: Yesterday was a lot of fun. ^^ I got to sponge paint for a bit at Lisa’s, then I went downtown with my grandma to see my cousin play in the National Volleyball Tournament. I was out of the house for about 9 hours, it was nice.
Yami: Then there was the usual “plop-on-the-couch” after. =P
Kibou: I like my “plop-on-the-couch”! It means, “long day, time to watch anime” heehee
Yami: the anime watching yesterday was good. It was on tape, so we could fast forward through the commercials.
Kibou: Still, the episodes were very good! Yugi trying to get through to Joey by giving him the Millennium Puzzle. (I swear, if that didn’t work, I don’t know what would!) and Naruto was very... action-y!
Yami: All the Sannin kicking butt! But your favorite is Tsunade, corrct, Kibo:
Kibou: *nods* I think she has great strength and is an excellent ninja. ^^
Quote of the Week:Only you can make your first move.
-Kibou
Video of the week: I had to this! KairiDono’s lastest video: Yu-Gi-Oh Likes to Move It! XD
Kibou: *bouncing in her chair*
Yami: *sigh....* You’re always moving it. =P
Kibou: Blame that on my high energy levels. ^^; Today, I’m planning on going back to Lisa’s to finish sponge painting. We’re doing her closet this time. I’m waiting for her call.
Cross Seasons
Kibou: It’s amazing how cold 70 degrees feels like when it was 96 Tuesday...
Yami: It’s a great drop in temperature! Now we’re warming back up.
Kibou: What season is it now? O_o I believe its summer. Anyway, the sponge painting got moved to today. So I’m going to do that later on.
Yami: Yesterday was an organization day, it seemed.
Kibou: It’ll continue for a bit today. My dad sent out an e-mail to the family regarding the holidays, so hopefully the Fourth of July will be a success! I also got when I’m going up north. I’m going up on Friday, so I’m sorry I won’t be here next weekend! *hugs everybody* I’m going to miss all you guys!
Yami: you should start thinking of what you need to bring.
Kibou: Clothes, music, books, paper and pencil! I’m good to go! XP Hopfully I’ll have some new fan art soon!

“Nice trick.” Bakura mumbled angrily after his attack didn’t work. Kuriboh had distracted Diabound, making him loose focus and wasted energy with his most powerful attack. He saw Atem had fooled him to thinking he was weaker as well. Still, Atem was a bit fatigued. “However, that stunt you pulled is only prolonging your defeat.” Bakura mentioned. Atem had gotten a small amount of energy back from Kuriboh, but he was still not at his strongest, and breathing a bit heavier. “Give up now, and I promise not to hurt Anika.” He mocked.
“That’s it...” Atem muttered Bakura’s comment sparked a fire within him. “Now this is where it ends!” he yelled as he stood strong. “Slifer! Muster all the strength that you can and attack with Dual Lightning Blast!” Slifer opened his mouth to release the attack. Bakura was still ready for it. Slifer’s attack was headed straight for him and Diabound.
“Diabound,” Bakura ordered. “Let’s finish this with Capture and Rebound Defense!” Diabound opened his arms wide as a translucent shield appeared. “It’s over!” Bakura exclaimed. Slifer’s attack was caught right in Diabound’s trap. Atem let a small smile appear on his face. “All according to plan.” He thought. Bakura had his arm outreached as he commanded, “Now Diabound, return Slifer’s attack and--” he stopped to see a second attack coming towards him.
“’Dual’ is in ’two separate attacks’ not ‘doubled power’!” Atem explained quickly as Bakura took a step back, his trap had not caught Atem, but Bakura himself.
“No! This was not how it was supposed to be!” he yelled as Slifer’s second blast collided with his first in Diabound’s trap. Both attacks exploded, creating a blinding light. Slifer’s double attack made the room shake violently. Bakura had lost everything as Diabound was destroyed. Diabound let out a final cry as he shattered in the light.
“It’s over.” Atem said softly as he dropped to one knee. He heard Bakura scream at him.
“This isn’t where it ends! I’ll be back and I’ll achieve what is mine!” Atem breathed heavily as the light faded away. He walked over to Bakura, lying face-down on the floor, unmoving. Atem sighed.
“Let it be known,” he began. “Egypt is safe from true evil.” Dark spirits took care of the rest as Bakura slowly faded away and finally disappeared. He turned to Slifer. “Thank you, Slifer the Sky Dragon.” Atem said, bowing slightly. “Egypt will rest peacefully tonight because of you and Obelisk the Tormenter.” Slifer gave a short roar and returned to his domain. “Now to get out of here...” Atem sighed. He heard a small rumble as a secret passage opened along the wall. Atem looked around and went through. After going through some halls, Atem found a door leading to the surface. He opened it and walked out of the darkness and into the bright open desert.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Yes, Slifer’s and Diabound’s final moves are stuff I made up at the spur-of-the-moment. ^^;
Last week’s trivia answer: Yugi and Yami have dueled twice. Bonus points: Both benefited Yami. (First to overcome the evil within him, then to crossover to the other side.) *sob* I don’t like the last one!
Yami: *pats Kibou on the head* It’s ok. ^^; So congrats to...

This week’s trivia: Who’s name means “Apricot” in Japnese?
Good Luck!
Things Are Starting to Heat Up In More Ways Than One!
Kibou: I’m REALLY sorry about not getting to sites on Saturday or Sunday. >< Sunday didn’t go as planned for me. But I want to thank those who commented on Sunday when Yami posted. ^^ However, I don’t believe I was SLEEP TALKING!
Yami: You were. It was kind of amusing. You speaking in Spanish and Japanese, then said something about jelly doughnuts. Made me think of Joey in Duelist Kingdom. =P
Kibou: O...k... Must have been something that I ate. Anyway, Tuesday I was really HOT! We broke the record of 94, it got up to 96! I went to lunch and shopping with my grandma that day. I haven’t gone shopping in so long! So it was really nice. ^^ Plus, since I got on the B Honor Roll last quarter, she gave me $50! ^^ I’m saving that. NO ONE TOUCH IT!
Yami: No one knows that you have it except Lisa and me!
Kibou: There’s a reason for that. Speaking of Lisa, she came over yesterday to drop off some of her personal stuff, like journals and diaries and stuff. She’s getting her room painted, and said my house was the only safe place for her things. I’m not even tempted to look at them, because I already know what they say. XD We can be pretty open with each other sometimes, so that’s how I know.
Yami: Well, yeah. You two are like sisters!
Kibou: Heehee. Friday I’m going to help sponge paint her room, too. That should be fun.
Something on my mind: Remember when I said I learned a lot about my parents when I went to FL? My mom started the family gatherings on my dad’s side of the family, and it’s been like that for a while. But my dad is being an idiot and saying, “No one’s going to come out here on the 4th of July. Only 2 people came last year.” -_-;; He disappoints me! So I’m taking charge of the gathering, like my mom did. ^^ My family is important to me, and I haven’t seen anyone since Christmas, *stands on chair* and I don’t want my family to fall apart! *chair wobbles, falls off chair* Ok. That was my little rant. ^^;;;
Be around to get to sites in a bit!
