   ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz....
Yami: Kibou wanted me to start the post, since she’s pretty tired. Yesterday was fun, but exhausting. She got up at 7:30 am and got home around 9:30. And she pretty much walked all day, so her legs are pretty sore. She told me that she went on 3 roller coasters, 2 were her first time, and there were steep drops and loop-de-loops and all that stuff that roller coasters do, I guess. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Kibou: *in her sleep* Tengo hambre...... queirno una torta. No papas fritas o chicharrones...
Yami: O_o Um… ok… Kibou is talking in Spanish in her sleep. Kind of an awkward moment there. Heh. As for anime night, There really wasn’t one. I just know that next week’s episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! was the first that Kibou saw. The final part of Yugi vs. Joey. It’s a good episode. But we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
Kibou: *in her sleep* Itta nan nanda.... kono mushi... wa.....
Yami: Great. Now we’re speaking in Japanese. Heh. Wait until I tell her about this when she wakes up. ^^

   Funtime!
Kibou: I’m excited for today. I get to go to an amusement park with Lisa! ^^ We’re going early so I have minimal time this morning! Nothing exciting really happened this week. I haven’t been able to do anything! On Wednesday, when I went out for a run, my stomach muscles started hurting really bad. >< So I just walked.
Yami: And for you to do that, it must of hurt pretty badly.
Kibou: Yeah, and with walking, they still hurt, just not as bad. I’m planning on getting back on track tomorrow. If anything hurts, I’m going to be mad!

Isis’s Millennium Necklace began to glow as she received a vision.
“Seto.” She called to him. Seto turned to her and nodded, waiting for her to continue. “I just had a vision.” She began to explain. “Sometime while we are here, all of Bakura’s men will attack the villagers.”
“Hmmm...” was Seto’s response. “Mahad, Shada,” he called. “We have another situation on our hands.”

Bakura looked at Slifer, then to Atem. He was looking around quickly, planning something.
“Changing your strategy at the end of a battle?” He questioned.
“A minor change of plans.” Atem explained. “I don’t think your tricks can work with Slifer the Sky Dragon.”
“We’ll see about that.” Bakura snickered.
“We will see. We’ll see that I may have a trick of my own, Bakura.” Atem thought. Atem had a plan and was about to put it into action. “Slifer!” Atem called out. “Thunderbolt attack!” Slifer opened his mouth as a ball of light emerged and shot to Bakura’s side.
”Winding Shield!” Bakura responded quickly. Diabound projected a blue barricade, only to have it be blasted through by Slifer. The impact knocked Bakura down. “Frontal assault!” Bakura said, getting up. Diabound moved closer to Atem.
“Fine by me.” Atem replied, and sent Slifer to do the same. Diabound and Slifer circled each other in the large room, trying to find a point to strike. Slifer quickly circled Diabound and went to strike. Diabound quickly moved out of the way but was hit by Slifer’s tail. Before Slifer could get another attack in, Diabound quickly blasted him. Both sides were formidable as Atem and Bakura yelled out commands. Once both monster and human alike were getting worn, they stopped the frontal attacks. Atem and Bakura were breathing hard, Atem looked a bit weary.
“Feeling light-headed, Prince?” Bakura mocked. Atem shot him an angry glance. “I have plenty of fight left, Bakura.” Atem assured him. “Slifer as well!” he claimed as Slifer wound around the room between Atem and Bakura. A faint light appeared on Atem’s side, a faint “coo” was heard, but ignored. Once Slifer had returned to Atem’s side, Bakura noticed Atem was hunched over.
“He didn’t use his energy wisely.” Bakura chuckled to himself. “Diabound...” he said to his monster, “Gather enough strength to destroy the Prince!” Atem looked up quickly, sudden panic made his eyes wide.
“Slifer, be ready!” Atem gasped. Slifer shifted and prepared to counter attack.
“This is the end!” Bakura yelled. “Diabound, DESTROY!” Diabound aimed for Atem and was about to attack. He leaned back to thrust out a wave of energy. As he was about to move forward, a small ball of fur popped in Diabound’s view, letting out a small “coo” sound as before. Bakura looked back behind him. “NOW! Helical Shockwave!” Bakura yelled at Diabound. Diabound’s attack went to Atem’s side of the room, but missed entirely. The attack made the area shake violently. Bakura got much weaker from that play. “What was that?” Bakura growled.
“That...” Atem chuckled. “Was Kuriboh.” He simply said as he stood completely erect. “Thank you.” Atem said to Kuriboh flew over to him and disappeared. Kuriboh gave Atem a bit of extra energy as he left, and Atem was ready for one final blow.

When Will Things Pick Up?
Kibou: Ok! It’s now mid-week, and wow am I bored. X_x Heehee. There’s nothing really going on. I want all my trips and vacations!
Yami: They will come soon enough. There’s still the whole summer left.
Kibou: Minus two weeks.... *sigh* Well, I didn’t get the job at Arby’s. >< Arg! But I turned in applications for 3 different Food places, I hope I can get some kind of job, I really need the money. I’m saving it so I can go to this really nice art school for college.
Yami: Cooking and baking all day for a grade. Not a bad deal. ^_~
Kibou: Of course, you can’t eat it! XD Not when anyone’s looking anyhow. j/k Speaking of school, I got my repot card on Saturday. I got an B in Engkish, A in Gym, a C in Gemetry, and an A- in Spanish. ^^ I passed everything!
Yami: Uh... duh. You worked hard!
Kibou: *remembers the two weeks of painful studying* So anyway, what’s new? A few things. I got a new AMV up (finally!)

   Father’s Day
Kibou: Yesterday was fun! ^^ Lisa’s brother Kevin’s grad party went well. There were sloppy joes and lots of chips and sweets! People did like my cookies, I was glad. Kev’s cake was strawberry! Yum. ^^ I ate so much, I’m surprised I’m not the size of a sumo wrestler! XD
Yami: You’d need to eat a lot more to get there!
Kibou: ^^;; Lisa’s family was there, and I noticed her dad’s side is a bit obnoxious, while her mom’s side is nice and complimentary. Lisa’s great aunt said I was a beauty queen, and I’d win Miss America one day. (I think she forgot her glasses at home) Still, I thanked her and said, “I think I’m more of a dancing queen.” ^^ It was funny.
Yami: Oh come on Kibou, you know that--
Kibou: *covers ears* Not listening to any lectures! Change the subject to Anime night! *ahem* Yu-Gi-Oh was good as usual, Yami and Seto won! (No really?) heehee.
Yami: But who will win in Naruto? Tsunade or Naruto? .
Kibou: Yesterday’s episode was very good! (Tsunade rocks!) And what she went through was hard.... Wonder what’s gonna happen next

   Whoa! Saturday already?
Kibou: Well, I knew that it was Friday when my dad left to go up north. I had lost track of the day!
Yami: Summer will do that to ya!
Kibou: Nothing much to say from Thursday. I’m just home alone for 3 days. (muwahahaha)
Yami: As long as you don’t get a crazed look in your eye, there’s nothing to worry about.
Kibou: Yesterday I went to Arby’s for a job interview. I thought it went pretty well. It was easier then I thought! I hope that I can get a job...
Yami: We’ll know by Monday. *crosses fingers* But after that, around7:30, we went for a bike ride to get some ice cream. There was none left, so we ended up biking all around the neighborhood and almost got lost!
Kibou: Nuh-uh. We just went to some places that were unfamiliar! Heehee. It was fun, I have no idea how many miles we went. A lot, I guess. It was nice out. XD Anyway, today I’m going to Lisa’s brother’s graduation party. I made cookies! With chocolate cake mix... O_o It was on the box, so I tried it. They’re alright, hope everyone else likes them!

Atem stared angrily at Bakura.
“First attack honors are mine,” Bakura declared.
“Loosing will be yours, too.” Atem muttered, preparing to fight. Bakura chuckled.
“There’s more to this game than you think Prince...” Bakura quickly stated before yelling,
“Diabound, attack!” Diabound shot a ray of dark energy towards Atem and Obelisk. Atem shouted,
“Obelisk! Cou---!” then suddenly stopped, he sensed something wrong, and he could barely move. “C-counter attack!” he managed to choke out. But it was too late. Obelisk could only half-defend himself against the attack. Obelisk was hit. Atem went down on his knees, clutching his chest. “What.. just--” he said in a harsh whisper. He looked behind him to Obelisk. A dark green mist floated around. It was some sort of spell. Not only that, the room they were in was too small for Obelisk to move freely. Atem looked around, thinking of a way to get out of the mess he was in.
“Better make your move before it happens.”
“Before what happens?” Atem asked, beginning to stand up.
“Attack again, Diabound!” Atem took a step back.
“No!” Atem yelled. “Obelisk-” He looked again. Obelisk was still stuck.
“Too little, too late!” Bakura laughed as Diabound’s attack hit Obelisk. Atem yelled out in pain as he went on his knees again. He was running out of strength, and fast.
“Even though all of Bakura’s tricks, his Diabound seems stronger. What else has Bakura done to tip this fight in his favor?” Atem wondered. Bakura began to speak,
“I told you my plan was simple, but had many details. I did happen to leave some out.” Atem coughed.
“Like what?” he muttered angrily.
“The fight between the two villages was a way to get you where I wanted, and also, it was a distraction.” Bakura explained. Atem glared at him. “Diabound increased his strength through training and sacrifice.”
“Sacrifice?” Atem echoed. “You don’t mean--”
“A strong Pharaoh has to make a few sacrifices to become stronger, doesn’t he?” Bakura laughed.
“You’re a monster.” Atem growled.
“And you’re about to lose your title!” Bakura declared.

Anika suddenly sensed something wrong. She stood and walked to the door.
“I’ll... be right back.” She told Mana and Khalil with a smile. She quickly went to the roof and looked over to the horizon. “Atem...” Anika said. “I don’t know what’s going on, but please, be safe. Don’t give up!”

Atem heard Anika calling out to him, he stood, glaring at Bakura.
“I won’t let you down, Anika” he thought, as he turned away from Bakura. “Obelisk! Return.” Atem ordered, as Obelisk disappeared.
“Giving up already?” Bakura asked.
“Just getting started.” Atem shot. “Slifer the Sky Dragon! Help me win this fight!” he yelled out as his diadiakh glowed once more. Slifer appeared in place if Obelisk. “New strength and a new strategy.” Atem smiled. “This is where things get interesting.”

   Summer = Hot weather + No school
Kibou: Summer vacation has been going alright so far. ^^
Yami: It’s nice outside, however a rain wouldn’t hurt....
Kibou: Yeah. Don’t want my lawn to be hay! >< Not after all the hard work from all the lawn work I did! Heehee. Anyway, on with some good news, since I’m able to run and exercise when I want, I ran a mile on Sunday. I got my best time! 7:55! *happy dance*
Yami: You can run FAST! Wasn’t your longest time 9 minutes?
Kibou: Yeah. Later today I’m going to run again! (I’m a freak, I know! XD)
Yami: Nah, you’re just good at running.
Kibou: There are some things I’m getting better at, too. It’s called “fan art” and I just posted another pic today! ^^ It’s ME anime style! (Well, I tried my best, anyhow) tell me how ya like it! In other news, Lisa is coming over sometime today to talk about when we are going to go up north to my grandma’s trailer. Have I mentioned I LOVE going up north? XD
Yami: Only a million times.
Kibou: Now a million and one. I love it. ^_~ I hope that things work out, and we can stay up there a long time! And SPEAKING of north, my dad and Shelly (his fiancée) are up in Duluth, MN with my uncle. My uncle is going to run the Grandma’s Marathon on Saturday. And I... get to stay home the whole weekend! No one has to watch over me. (it’s about time!)
Yami: I’m here!
Kibou: You. Don’t. Count. XP
Yami: *rolls eyes* Don’t you have a mile to run? Better do that before it gets to hot out.
Kibou: Right! *runs out the door*

   Sunday again....
Kibou: It’s Sunday! And I have..... wait... I have no school. ^^;;
Yami: Still getting used to the fact that it’s summer, huh?
Kibou: Yeah... it can take a while. Heehee. I’m used to my old schedule. I do have to make up some kind of plan, though. I ate a bunch of food last night and got a stomach ache. >< I had no DDR to burn off all the energy. (It broke..... for the third time.) Uh anyway.... all that I really did for “Anime Night” was in the morning with Yu-Gi-Oh! The good old Battle City Tournament! ^^ We’re getting close to the very first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh I saw! (umm.... yay?) XD
Yami: Guess that’s all to report for that!

   Finally! Summer is Here!
Kibou: *falls back* School is no more! Summer is here and I can finally relax!
Yami: Yeah, the past two weeks were pretty rough.
Kibou: Sorry for my absence last week! It was pretty hectic around here. 4 classes, 20 tons of work! Briefly: In English I had a book report and 2 finals. I had to write a paper for Gym. (Dumb, I know!) Math I had a final, and in Spanish I had a presentation and four exams. (Writing, Speaking, reading, and listening) I worked, literally, throughout the whole weekend and when I was home. (I missed Yu-Gi-Oh! *sob*) X_x Good news is I got 100% on the book report! (yay!) Also, I got all As on my Spanish exams, the oral exam going more smoothly then expected! *dances*
Yami And now it’s all over..... but you have more time to do... er... more stuff.
Kibou: Like a new theme? ^^ (this wallpaper took me FOREVER to get right!) But there’s something new in my portfolio... FAN ART! ^^ My old printer was really poor, so we got a new printer with a scanner! (*angels sing in the background*) So today I posted my latest drawing! (Yes, I draw! Poorly at times, but still!) I hope you all like it!

The smoke cleared, and Bakura and Atem was nowhere to be found.
“Where did they go?” Seto questioned.
“They vanished, just like before...” Shada stated. At the same time, Bakura’s men had slightly backed away, as there was a long exhale from everyone. “We have to keep these people safe...” Shada said.

Anika was back at the palace, talking with Mana as Khalil continued playing. Anika suddenly shuddered. “
Are you ok?” Mana asked.
“I’m fine, it was just a chill.” Anika smiled a little. Mana nodded. “Atem....” Anika thought. “Please, be safe.”

Atem opened his eyes to find himself in a large, dimly lit room. He looked from side to side, wondering how he got there.
“Now that you’re fully aware of your surroundings, shall we begin?” Bakura’s voice said. Atem turned to see Bakura facing him from the other side of the room.
“What are you up to now, Bakura?” Atem asked.
“There are many details, but it’s quite simple.” He paused before continuing. “We are going to have a duel to see who’s stronger, who’s more fit to rule this land, and who is willing to sacrifice to get... or keep... what they what.” Atem clenched his fist.
“That seemed simple, so what are the details?” he demanded. Bakura smiled.
“If I win this battle, I become Pharaoh, no one gets hurt. Except you, of course.” He snickered.
“And if I win?” Atem asked.
“If you win, you keep your title, but as soon as my men see that you’ve won, the will extinguish every life in those two villages.” Atem scoffed.
“What kind of ruler destroys his own people?”
“What’s a few people?” Bakura shrugged and paused again. “Don’t worry, I won’t destroy ALL the people.” He said slyly. Atem knew immediately he was referring to Anika.
“Don’t you lay one hand on her...” he muttered.
There was a slight rumble within the shadows of the area. Atem tensed a bit and took a small step back. Diabound was suddenly visible and snaked through the room violently before resting beside Bakura.
“Enough small talk.” Bakura stated. “Let’s begin.” “Bakura must not have thought this plan out thoroughly.” Atem thought. “Diabound is strong, but he must have forgotten I can summon an Egyptian God.” Atem let a small smirk appear on his lips.
“All right Bakura, I’ll play your game. And I’ll protect every life at the same time.” He raised his arm to show his diadiakh, then he brought it in front of his face in one giant motion. “Obelisk the Tormentor, come forth!” Atem yelled as his diadiakh glowed as a blue light appeared on Atem’s side of the room. Tension was high as both yelled out,
“Get ready to lose!”

   FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kibou: Today was the last day of school!!!!! I’m excited for the summer!
Yami: The bouncing off the walls was a dead give away. ^_~
Kibou: Sorry I didin’t post last week, I was REALLY busy with finals! I had 2 finals and a book report in English, a paper to do in gym (Stupid, I know) a math finals, a presentation and 4 finals for Spanish. X_x.
Yami: And you’re still alive to tell the tale.
Kibou: Ha! Barley! Good news is that I did well on my Book report. ^^ 100%! *dances* I also got an A on my Gym paper, and I’m hoping I did well in math. I don’t like geometery anymore! Heehee. My Spanish presentation didn’t go over so well the first time, but I re-did it, and I did a lot better. And the Finals were one-a-day, so I had a written exam, an oral exam (Which went so smoothly! For once!) , a reading exam, then finally today, the listening exam. I got all As!!!!!!!!! Whoo!!!! *dances again*
Yami: All the hard work really paid off! Now you get to finally rest for 3 months.
Kibou: There’s lots ahead, still, but it’s not going to be stressful. Lots of going up north with camping and going to cabins. I love it..... *sighs and daydreams*
Yami: there’s more news then that... (ahem) *nudges Kibou from her daydream and points*
Kibou: Oh! YEAH! My old printer was really cruddy, I hated it. SO.... we got a new one. It has a scanner! ^^ So, on Saturday, You’ll see one of my drawings! I hope you all like it.
Yami: On the subject of submissions, there’s 2 new e-cards up, and a wallpaper that’s coming very soon! Plus, I theme change.
Kibou: Geez! I’m too excited! I need to... I dunno. Run a mile or something. (Since I can now. Heehee.....)

   A-Ha! Another Day of Posting!
Kibou: I like these 3-day weekends. ^^ They’re nice....
Yami: And the 3-month weekend, AKA summer, is coming up fast!
Kibou: 7 more days. O_o Man, those are going to just fly by! I’m going to miss everyone at school! Except for Lisa, because hse lives 2 blocks away. ^^; Yesterday I got a few job applications to Kohl’s, Target, JCPenny, and Wendy’s (as a last resort.) I hope I can get a job this summer. I maybe busy, but it’ll be fun.
Yami: You just want to go run everyday, right?
Kibou: Heehee. Maybe....... I can’t now with all this work on top of me! At least yesterday, I got my Spanish homework and 1/3 of my book report done. I hope to get more done today. The more out of the way the better. I have too many things going on at once, here! X_x
Yami: Let’s hope it doesn’t become too stressful. That wouldn’t be too good.
Kibou: No it would not. I just can’t daydream about going up north to the trailer or Duluth! Must... focus... on... school... *sigh* anyway, today I’m going to go driving, since there wasn’t much time yesterday. Today is good because it’s Memorial Day and early in the morning. So there will be minimal traffic on the usually busy roads. Wish me luck that I don’t kill anything or run into anything. heehee
