What’s Up, Dog?
Kibou: My dad and I are pet-sitting for shelly over the extended weekend. My dad stayed over at Shelly’s last night, so I was left to take care of Bingo. This morning, he woke me up at 5:30 in the morning by licking my face.
Yami: At least it wasn’t 3 cousins jumping o your bed.
Kibou: I get awakened in the weirdest ways sometimes. Of course, after I fed Bingo and let him out, I went right back to sleep. For another good 2 ½ hours. heehee ^^
Yami: Only four hours of sleep, yeah. I think anyone would do the same.
Kibou: Anime night was ok. BUT I’m mad about Yu-Gi-Oh! Every time they start the 2nd season, they always, ALWAYS start with the double duel with Lumis and Unbra. (AGH!) I want to tape all the episodes! (They left my favorite episode out! *sob*) I’m waiting for a box set of the 2nd season. Naruto and Prince of Tennis was good, though. ^^
Yami: We met Tsunade in Naruto and Ryoma won a game of tennis against some guy that was being a jerk.
Kibou: Orochimaru still scares me..... But Tsunade is really awesome! ^^
Quote of the Week: You will not succeed if you don't ever try.
Video of the Week: A Tsunade Tribute. Sorry, Mini-obsession going on here! Heehee.
Kibou: Today, between all the papers and repots I have to do, I’m going to practice my driving (Everyone off the road! ^_~ j/k) and I’m going to get some more job applications. I really need the money for college!
New Submissions: I got a wallpaper up at the beginning of the week. ^^ Seto and Shizuka! What do you guys think? Thanks! Thanks for 1,000 views on my “What Hurts Yami the Most” AMV! ^^ Plus thanks for 5,000 e-cards sent! Whoo! *hugs*
Running Around and Never Stopping!
Kibou: At last! A 3-day weekend! *sigh* A small break from all this school work!
Yami: A few things had happened this week! Anyone would be tired.
Kibou: Monday I ran the pacer in gym. I doubled my score from the pre-test. Next day, same class, I ran the mile just for fun. XP! After school, I went to Lisa’s choir concert. It was very VERY good. I loved it. Wednesday... heehee. The most eventful.
Yami: Here we go...
Kibou: During 4th hour, I kept looking out the window. I could see the rain coming. From past experience with weather, I could tell it was going to be bad. School ended & rain POURED down. Then the tornado sirens went off. (WHOO!!) Everyone went back in school. I wanted to go out and see the storm, but no one would let me. *sigh*
Yami: One of these days you’re going to be killed wondering out in storms. Do you think anyone wants that?
Kibou: I know what I’m doing..... most of the time. ^_~ but yes, if something got out of hand, I would go back inside. ^^ Promise! The rest of the week was uneventful.

Atem and the priests rode horseback to two villages that were fighting over some stolen or damaged property. The neighboring towns became closer. They were almost one village, with only a wide road to separate them.
“It’s the Prince!” a villager shouted, once he saw someone coming closer. Both villages crowded outside to meet Atem and the priests. Once they had arrived, the same man said, “Please, sire, help us to resolve this problem.” he bowed slightly. Atem nodded.
“We’ll get to the bottom of this.” He assured the man. “Now, this all started with a stolen horse, correct?” many people nodded. “Does anyone know who it was that stole the horse?” Everyone looked at each other, but no one seemed to know.
“It was someone not from either village, an outsider.” A woman’s voice said.
“Stop covering the truth!” another woman responded. Everyone started arguing and throwing blames on each other.
“Everyone, please, settle down!” Atem yelled over all the noise. It was almost immediately silent. Atem drew in a long breath. “Now then...” he began. There was then a small bird-like chirping noise heard. The villagers all let out some type of gasp or scream as many robed men suddenly surrounded all the villagers, swords in hand and pointing to almost everyone. No one moved. They were Bakura’s men, Atem and the priests knew in an instant. No later had everyone been surrounded, Bakura appeared in the wide road between the villages.
“Long time no see, Prince,” Bakura said, spitting out the last word.
“Impossible...” Mahad whispered. His spell on Bakura had been broken.
“What business do you have here?” Atem demanded. Bakura shrugged.
“I had to get you here somehow.” Atem was silent. “Was this all a setup?” he thought. “We’ll soon see how mighty hrs majesty is.” Seto broke in.
“How dare you defile--”
“Seto, stop!” Atem exclaimed as some of Bakura’s men drew closer to the villagers.
“I have some questions to ask you.” Bakura said in a serious tone. He waited a bit, “Do you ever doubt your strength?” he finally asked. Atem did not move or answer. “Do you wonder how you will make it as a Pharaoh?” “He’s trying to corrupt my mind, like he tried Anika’s.” Atem thought as Bakura went on. “Do you think that you can save, or even protect, all these people at once?” Atem looked around him, seeing everyone scared with sharp points only mere inches from their faces.
“What are you trying to get at?”
“This is going to be the ultimate battle.” Bakura explained. “to see who is stronger.” He smirked. “To see who can rule over this country, with everything attached.“
“If you think you’re going to win over this country, my country, over a single battle, you’re sadly mistaken.” Atem declared.
“If you don’t fight, I’ll wipe out these entire villages.” Bakura threatened. Atem looked around again. After waiting not even a minute, Bakura announced. “Time’s up!” a robed man held up his hand, holding a small round object.
“No! He’s got another smoke pellets!” Shada exclaimed. He tried to stop the man from throwing it on the ground, but it was too late. A thick cloud covered the area. Many people coughed.
“Prince Atem!” all the priests cried in almost unison. There was no answer. Once the smoke cleared, Bakura and Atem was nowhere to be found.

Missing Shorts!
(what a weird subject to start off on!)
Yami: Kibou has lost all of shorts except for one pair, I guess. Can’t find them anywhere. She hasn’t stopped thinking about, either.
Kibou: I had like, 5 pairs! They have now ALL disappeared from the face of the Earth! I don’t get it. ... anyway, yesterday was a day of yard work! I pulled weeds. (yay...?) the first step in many to get the lawn back to normal.
Yami: Yes, and you did get a little sun burnt on your back.
Kibou: I think we all got burned out there. (it was hot!) Even so, I watched the last episode of the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Meaning the second season is next week, and I have to start taping again! ^^ I BARELY caught the Naruto special last night as well. I thought it was alright. Kind of a quick ending, though.
Yami: The 30-minute episodes are better.
Kibou: *nods*
Quote of the Week:“Be honest with yourself the first time. You’ll know how far you need to go before you end up too short.”
Video of the Week: Rewrite - Asian Kung-Ku Generation LIVE!
(yeah, I know the quote pretty lame... gomen! -_-;;)
Kibou: that’s all I can think of for now. I have to wrok on my speech have to say For Spanish on Thursday. Rough draft is due tomorrow! O_o
Yami: Better start on that and fast.
Kibou: I’m going to try to make it to sites earlier today. Ugh. School makes it hard to get back here! I’m really sorry if I can’t make it back to everyone!
<3!

A Week that I Remembered!
Kibou: Here’s a trick - take notes during the week to remember stuff.
Yami: Really comes in handy during an eventful week!
Kibou: So here goes... Monday was eventful. Good and Bad. First, I got in the face with a ball in gym. No harm done, so I started laughing. =P I biked to Target after school to fill out an application for a job. On the way, this guy yelled a comment to me from his car. Not saying what it was, but it really offended me. ><
Yami: *mutters* pervert......
Kibou: Yeah... kinda creeped me out. *shudders* with good news, I got 148/150 on my Master Verb Test in Spanish! *dances* T_T Wednesday was ok, until 4th hour. I found out that they cancelled the talent show! ><
Yami: Turns out only 15-20 tickets were sold. Including Lisa, we had bought 8.
Kibou: But on Thursday, I was glad they had cancelled it. Remember how I have that heart thing going on? I went back to the hospital Thursday as well. I know my heart is slower because I’m very active.
Yami: So that’s a positive one.
Kibou: Or it could be of malnutrition from earlier this year, OR my dad’s family’s history of heart problems. Those are negative! I’m sure it’s because of malnutrition. But I had to take a 24-EKG test. So I had 5 pads stuck to my chest all day. >< Glad it was over when it was. That’s when Lisa and I went to the Spingfest, the fair at my church. We had a pretty fun time. It was really expensive, so we couldn’t do much. But we visited my mom at the cemetery later on! =P the one thing that was free.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Atem!” Anika shot, “Bakura will stop at nothing to kill you!” she fell back into Atem’s arms, sobbing. Atem held her and stroked her hair.
“I know... He’s persistent.” He whispered to Anika. “But I promise nothing is going to happen to anyone, or anything. Especially you. And I’ll stand my ground even if the odds are against us. Against all of us.” He held her back a little and wiped the tears from her face. No later, Shada came in.
“Prince Atem,” he said. “You are needed back in the meeting room.” Atem nodded.
“I have to go.” He said. “Maybe we can talk later tonight, ok?” he suggested. Anika nodded as Atem left.
Anika walked in the palace, looking for her brother or Mana, or just anyone. “So the deal with these two villages.” She heard Atem speak. “Since they are fighting and stealing, we should go down there to sort things out. And if needed---” that was all that Anika heard as she walked away from the room.
Anika began walking down the halls, looking for either her brother or Mana, Mana found Anika first.
“There you are!” Mana called out. Anika turned. Mana smiled a little, but it turned into a calm, yet concerned look. “Are you ok?” Mana asked quietly. Anika nodded slowly.
“I never seem to stay out of the excitement, don’t I?” She mentioned, in a way, slightly scolding herself for stirring things up. Anika started talking about what happened at her village. Afterwards, Mana began to talk about how herd the last of her lessons were, just for a different subject. As they were talking, Atem came up to them.
“I have to go to a couple of villages to work some issues out.” Atem informed them, He turned to Anika. “Don’t go wondering off, ok? I want you to stay here, where it’s safe.” He winked, making a small joke. Anika was a bit tense, but it seemed that whatever Atem did made her a little calmer, as she let out a small chuckle.
“Yes, I’ll stay.” She answered.
“Good.” Atem said. He looked slightly behind Anika, and saw Khalil coming up behind Anika very quietly. Atem smiled, and tried not to laugh. Anika looked at him funny.
“What is so-- Ahh!” she let out a small yell as Khalil grabbed her waist. “Hello, there.” She said, looking down at him.
“Where were you earlier today?” Khalil asked.
“Just out.” She answered. Khalil had a feeling that Anika was in danger, and Anika knew that. She would tell him later. Everyone walked down to the stables to ride to the troubling villages.
“This shouldn’t take long.” Atem told Anika. “When I get back, we’ll figure it all out, and then work on some things, if you wish.” Anika knew what he meant by “some things” and nodded her head. “Alright then. Let’s move out!” he instructed as Atem, all the priests, and a few guards all rode off into the distance.
“You be safe as well.” Anika murmured.
In another part of Egypt, Bakura was recovering from Mahad’s spell, which had somehow slightly weakened him. He shook his arms, and stretched.
“Alright...” he began. “Time to go down to those two villages and see how my back-up plan is working...”
Ok! I’m sorry, but I have no time to do any trivia! Dad and Shelly are waiting for me to go out and go lawn work. (Finally!) I can’t wait to have a normal lawn again...
Happy Mother’s Day!
Kibou: Another Sunday, another weekend of doing nothing. >< No yard work, the lawn mower blew up.... which was funny. But for another week, my lawn looks like crap.
Yami: On a lighter note, today is Mother’s Day
Kibou: Uh-huh. Whacha all doing today? For me, (oh geez, this sounds too morbid) I’m going to visit my mom’s grave, and my grandma’s grave. (lighter note, yeah right) But after that, I’m going to a baseball fame with my mom’s family. >< Love the game, but my mom’s family is being too clingy. But that’s a different story. Another topic, please.
Yami: ..... anime!
Kibou: I watched Yu-Gi-Oh in the morning. One more episode left in the first season then... I have to start taping again! heehee. I was racing home from a bike ride so I wouldn’t miss Naruto. Only missed 5 minutes. I was impressed! I didn’t watch the new one, though... no real action. Missed Prince of Tennis though... Oh well.
Quote of the Week:“Don’t look at the ground when you’re on the path to your goal. It won’t make it seem closer, and you could trip while you’re walking.”
Video of the Week: Life is Like a Boat - Naruto Girls
New Submissions: Yes! Finally! 2 e-cards. ^^ Yu-Gi-Oh! & Vandread Click the links to view them! Since it’s Mother’s Day, I added one for the occasion as well.
And I want to thank any and all who sent them both. Because of you, they both got featured on theO homepage! *dances* Arigatou!!!!! Also, thanks to all, my e-cards have been sent 5,000 times! Yay!
Just a few things to look forward to this week, and hopefully it’ll make it go faster: The talent show, my dad’s birthday, both on May 17! (I’m making an awesome cake) and then my churchs’s fair, the Springfest. I love going there. ^^ I’m looking forward to everything.
That’s all for now! I need to finalize my game plan for today.
Another Week I Can’t Remember Much About!
Kibou: Why have these past few weeks been SO LONG, and I can’t remember what happened?
Yami: Dunno. I’m a game expert, not a mind expert.
Kibou: Anyway, from last week, I got my book report ALMOST done. Just a few more things left. I was up until 1 AM working on it on last Sunday. X_x
Yami: I helped with the painting. I painted a few squares on the game board. ^^
Kibou: Yes, Yami helped too. Even with the last few things missing, I still got an A! *parties* 2 tests in Spanish, and I got an A on both of those as well! My math test got a C. ^^;
Yami: At least you got your grade up because of that.
Kibou: Oh yay...... heh. Wednesday I went to the doctor. I wanted to make sure I was healthy and all that. Which, I am. I think the doctor was surprised when I said I like to get 8 hours of sleep, eat little meals throughout the day, and actually eat breakfast! Not many people around here do that! But......there’s a down side. My heart, they said, was beating slower then normal. And I can’t help but worry a bit.
Yami: We’re hoping it’s nothing serious. We can’t think of anything that would lead to something bad.
Kibou: I had an EKG done. (It’s like a recording of your heartbeat) and I’ll see those results on Thursday, when I go back in for some more testing. >< Grrr... I don’t like where this is going. But on a lighter note, here’s the story, like I promised!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Anika was gripping onto Atem while he had his arms around her. They bother were looking at the village ruins. Bakura’s voice still echoing off the destroyed walls. Anika shuddered. She and Atem let go of each other.
“Search the area for a while.” Atem called to Mahad and the others. They all nodded and did as they were told. He turned back to Anika. “Are you alright?” he asked. Anika looked up at Atem, then back down.
“Yes... I’m fine...” she answered quietly. “How did you find me here?” she added after a moment of silence.
“Isis had a vision that you were here, in danger.” Atem said. Anika gave a nod.
“Oh....”
“What made you come here?” Atem kept asking questions. Anika sighed.
“I’m not quite sure. I had sensed something coming from the village, like something was going to happen.”
“I see.” Atem responded. After a while, Mahad, Seto, and Shada returned with no clues of Bakura. They all rode back to the palace, Anika sitting behind Atem. As Atem was putting his horse in the stable, he noticed Anika in deep thought. “Something the matter?” he asked. His voice almost made Anika jump.
“Huh? Oh...... Um... no. I’m fine.” As Atem turned his back on her, Anika murmured quietly, “I can’t believe I owe him my life.” Atem still heard her.
“What are you talking about?” Atem said. Anika sighed.
“Well,” she began, “Remember how I said the village you found me in was my second home?” And told Atem the story of when she was younger, it was Bakura that had saved her from the rest of the villagers. “That’s why I owe him my life.” Anika ended. Atem shook his head.
“You don’t owe him anything. He’s hurt you, and he’s trying to get at something that not his, you can’t owe him anything. He’s using that as an excuse, a shortcut, possibly.” There was a long pause. Atem walked over and put his hand on Anika’s shoulder. Anika was tense, but Atem’s touch made her relax a bit. “Everything will be fine. We’re making the next move, Anika. Soon this situation will be over and dealt with.” Anika tensed up again.
“It’s not that simple.” she said.
“I know.” Atem barely got the words out of his mouth before Anika backed away a little.
“Atem!” She shot. “Bakura will stop at nothing to kill you!”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Kibou: Ahhh! Don’t kill Atem! .... sorry. I have weird reactions when writing. ^^;;; Last week there was no trivia, but there is this week! Who said,“Our hypothesis suggests that the supernatural phenomenon you experience my find it roots in Atlantis.”?
Good Luck!
Well, today is the day of yard work! I’m not real excited about it, but I REALLY want to do it, my lawn is horrid. >< I dunno what the plan is today. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day! What are you all doing for your mom?
But I think that wrap things up for now.
Yami: There are sites to visit, Yu-Gi-Oh to watch, and breakfast to eat. XD
Felt Like Posting!
Hey, Minna! How is everyone’s week going? Hope it’s going good so far, and that it continues. My week has been alright. Could be better. My grandma and aunt Kim were annoying me on Tuesday was the dance I’m doing for the talent show, and they kept asking really dumb questions, that AND they had to ask them 3, 4, 5 times rapid fire. O_o
Oh! And if I haven’t said already, I’m dancing to Nami Tamaki’s Realize! ^^ It’s my favorite song. Anyway! That’s on the 17th. Tickets went on sale yesterday, and I’m getting really excited.
Um... Yesterday I went to the doctor... not a fun place to go. I was there for 2 or 2 ½ hours for a check up. It was pretty ridiculous. I know, I’m pretty healthy.I think I surprised the docor when I told her what I eat and how much sleep I got! (Lots of little meals, 8 hours of sleep, and I EAT BREAKFAST! Unlike a lot of people who live here.....) But I think there might be something wrong with my heart. O_O The doctor said it was slow. I know it’s a good thing, but I hope it’s not TOO slow. I’m sure it’s not a big deal, I just don’t understand all the “doctor talk”. They were saying a bunch of numbers and all that. *shrugs* What I didn’t care for was the shots. Immunity shots. I had to get three of them. 2 in my left arm and one in my right. >< I barely felt anything when getting them, but last night my right arm started to feel sore. This morning both of them are sore. The pain didn’t really hurt, it was REALLY ANNOYING! So yeah, I dunno. My dad is going back to the clinic to get the results of some tests and my EKG (whatever that is, I think it’s like a recording of your heartbeat.) I just don’t want any weird disease or illness. O_o
On a positive note, I got a new e-card up. ^^ Check it out if ya want!
Anyway, that’s all that I have time for. Bus is going to be here. *nods*
Where’d Everyone Go?
Kibou: A lot of people are disappearing from myO! That or they’re EXTREMELY busy. *sigh* anyway, Yesterday I got a lot of painting done! I just have the game path, Iceland, and Greenland to color. (It’s a map of the Atlantic Ocean)
Yami: Just need some white pain, and we’re good to go!
Kibou: Uh-huh. Anyway, yesterday was supposed to be the day my lawn starts looking... well, like an actual lawn. BUT it rained for some of the day, around noon. So, it’s changed to next week. Shelly came over around noon, when it started to rain. Since there was no yard work, she made dinner. The old tradition is back!
Yami: the anime night tradition is making a comeback as well. The only change we can’t control is the fact that Yu-Gi-Oh Is only on for a half hour now.
Kibou: which is a bummer. But now, it’s Dungeon Dice Monsters! I’d love to play that game... I remember when Lisa said that she thought Duke was hot! *laughs* It was random and I really wasn’t expecting it at all! I wonder if she still thinks that... Hmmm....
Quote of the Week:You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?"
Video of the Week: Never Ending Dream - SetoxShizuka
New Submissions: Not yet. Maybe later.....
Kibou:But I do have a question: How do you exactly get someone else’s e-crd down for plagerizim? The last time I reported one of my greetings stolen, my e-card was taken down instead. >< what should I say so my e-card is safe? (sorry, that was confusing!)
Anyway, in other news...
Yami: How about countdowns?
Kibou: *grins* In 12 days, my school will be having it’s “Cardinal Idol” (a.k.a., a talent competition) anyway, I’m going to be in it! ^^ I’m getting excited! Also, abput 23 days of school are left! (Yay!)
Yami: Guess that’s it.
Kibou: I believe so. Hope everyone has a good week!
Where’d the Week Go? (HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!)
Kibou: This week was really busy! I don’t know how I got through it!
Yami: The main thing is that you DID get through it, and there’s only a month left of school.
Kibou: I’m really looking for the summer, so weeks like last week don’t happen! I had to do about 3 papers on stories in English, study for a Spanish quiz (I got a 94%! Whoo!) and a bunch of math homework. Gym was ok, since all we had to do is play tennis.
Yami: School is always busy around mid-quarter, and especially when Finals are coming up as well.
Kibou: Ack1 Make it stop! My mind’s on the verge of exploding, I swear... O_o heh... j/k! Right now, I’m working on my Book Report. I read Journey on the Great Titanic: The Diary of Margaret Ann Brady. (VERY GOOD BOOK!) You have to do an activity with these reports, and this time, I choose to make a game. ^^
Yami: You have to try to make it across the Atlantic Ocean by answering Titanic trivia. Lots of painting, but the ocean and iceberg are done.
Kibou: Paint can be aggravating at times. >< Speaking of aggravating, I saw that someone had copied my “Kiss Me, I’m Egyptian” e-card! Details in yesterday’s post...
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
*sobs* Gomen! No story this week. Stupid busy school deprived me of writing. T_T There’s going to be a part next week, I promise!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Last Week’s Trivia: Who said, “Around these parts, they call me Lucky Left Arm!”
Answer: Joey! (who else would say something like that! =P) Congrats to:
Ree-Ree!
I’ll hold off on the trivia this week, I like the whole story-and trivia package, per say.
Oh! And Ree, I did know that you were kidding about Michael. ^^ I was laughing with ya, and saying why! Sorry if there was some misunderstanding! *hugs*
Anyway, not much else to say! I have to continue working on my painting, and there’s still Yu-Gi-Oh to watch!
Hope You All Have a Good Anime Night! <3!

GAHHH!
I’m not happy right now. People keep stealing my works! Just now, I saw my “Kiss Me, I’m Egyptian” e-card being plagiarized!!!!!!!!!!! AGGGHHHH!
The e-card is the EXACT SAME THING only it’s half the size! I HATE I when people do this! Someone stole my leprechaun Edward e-card too! They just changed the words. Does anyone remember that one? I worked really hard on making Ed green, and So I posted it up, it got send a gazillion times, and then someone copies it (OFF OF PHOTOBUCKET!) and just changes the words! >
*sigh* sorry, I seem to be overreacting. T_T But I just hate this!
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Yes, I do put a little copyright sign on my works, but a few of my older stuff doesn’t. I’m going to go through all of my stuff I haven’t submitted yet and make sure it has my name on it. I’m not enjoying this, and don’t really like dealing with all this extra stress. *collapses from all the stress from the week*
*sighs again* I’ll talk you all tomorrow. May gets to sites today, but I want to get all my homework done first.
