It’s the weekend already? No complaints here....
Yami: This week went by really fast!
Kibou: Oh yeah.... I was so busy! (and I’m still busy! T_T) Quickly with this past week’s events: I finally got my Nami Tamaki CD on Monday! *dances* I love it. ^^ I like all the songs. My favorite would have to be “Heroine”. Also, on Monday, James and Lisa are going out again! and on Thursday, he dumped her >< The reason this time being he didn’t like her.
Yami: I guess that’s more likelty to happen then “Wanting to be alone”.....
Kibou: True. And um... what else happened in the past week? O_o I can’t remember...
Yami: Well, you went and made a cake on Sunday for my birthday after I said we could just go for ice cream....
Kibou: I wanted to use my Bake n’ Fill! ^^ (I made a cinnamon cake with icing and an apple filling. ^^) Can’t say you didn’t like it. ^_~
Yami: .......Touché.....
Kibou: Tonight, I get to cook dinner! I’ve decided on this: Pork Chops alla Pizzaiola with green beans and little Pillsbury croissants. No idea what “alla Pizzaiola” means, but my guess would be the sauce that the recipe makes. XP

“Let’s begin.” Atem announced. He stopped at a page in the book he held in his lap.
“Atem?” Anika started. Atem looked up from the book. “Well, it’s just that...” she trailed off as Atem stood and walked over to her as she continued. “I’m afraid it will get out of control....” Anika said plainly. Atem put his hand on her shoulder and gazed into her eyes. He saw, unmistaken, there was no fear in Anika’s eyes. Only concern for those she loved and cared for.
“If things start to look like they are getting out of hand, we’ll stop, and begin again when you’re ready.” There was a slight sparkle in Anika’s eyes just then as she smiled slightly. “Now,” Atem began as he sat back down. “Here’s the first step. Close your eyes, Anika.” Anika gave a nod and did as she was told. “Different kinds of energy flow through every one of us.” Atem explained. “Try to think of the power inside you and focus on it. Do you feel anything flowing through you?” he asked. There was a moment of silence before Anika announced,
“I... I can feel it.... and feel where it flows....”
“Very good.” Atem stated. “The next thing to do is trying to control where it goes. I know that you can have some control over your power, like when you healed my wound.” He recalled, placing his hand over the scar. “Try doing the same thing.” He instructed.
“How, exactly?” Anika asked, Atem placed the book at his side and walked back over to Anika.
“You want to have your arms out straight in front of you.” Atem told her. Anika thrust her arms out “That’s just about it....” Atem put his arms around her as he gently lifted her arms up just a little. Anika blushed slightly. “Now,” Atem started again, “Close your eyes and focus as you were doing before.” Anika took a deep breath and concentrated. She held her hands in front of her. ‘Here I go.’ Anika thought. Nothing happened at first, but soon enough, the air began to swirl around Anika slightly as she concentrated. A small ball of energy began to form right in Anika’s hands. Atem’s eyebrows were raised seeing her do this so well for a first time. Something suddenly shifted just then. The wind blew faster, and the power in Anika was too much for her to handle. She lost control, and was thrown backwards and landed hard on the roof. “Anika!” Atem called out and ran to her. Anika sat up a rubbed her head a little.
“I’m okay.” She breathed. Atem let out a sigh of relief. He opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by a guard calling out to him.
“Yes?” Atem called back. Anika stood and stared off into space.
“What were you doing on the roof, my Prince?” she heard the guard ask. Atem casually answered,
“Nothing important.”

No one got it right! Wow. If you’re confused, I’ll quickly explain: Remember how Malik took control of Tea and Joey’s minds? Joey broke free of the control, but Malik released Tea. Later, when Yami Marik was around, Malik was using Tea to contact Ishizu. So... yeah. ^^

That’s about it for this Saturday morning. I’m going to be really busy today with my book report, and catching up in To Kill A Mockingbird, cooking dinner, etc. ... I’ll try to get to sites, but I can’t promise anything. But I’m REALLY sorry if I can’t get anywhere!

   YAMI’S BIRTHDAY!
Kibou: *dances around the room* Today is Yami’s birthday! Ha ha!
Yami: You’re making a fool out of yourself, I hope you know.
Kibou: That never stopped me before. =P And of course I’m celebrating. Heehee. Hey... I should use this as an excuse to bake a cake!
Yami: Heh. If you want to celebrate, we could go to DQ or something.
Kibou: Well maybe..... anyway, this week better be well... better! No feeling down, no depression, no not-happy thoughts. Just a fun-filled week! *tries to feel confident* .... Ok that didn’t work. I want Spring Break to be here now!
Yami: You can make it, it’s just 2 more weeks.. And I highly doubt this week will be like last week. You can read manga, watch anime, or something to pass the time.
Kibou: Like Anime Night every night! That I like. But speaking of Anime Night, I actually got to watch what I wanted since Dad and Shelly weren’t home. Now that I think of it, both YGO and Naruto were sad! It was Yugi vs. Joey! I really like a lot of the plays in those epis.
Yami: And now we get down to the final match...
Kibou: Intense. All I gotta say. And..... Naruto.... was.. (really!)..sad! And very good. But so sad! I knew what was going to happen...... but still! Poor Konahamaru. (if I spelt that right!)

   Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Kibou: It’s St. Patrick’s Day! Even though I’m not one bit Irish ( I’M POLISH! =P) I use this day as an excuse to wear green. Ha!
Yami: I think you’re just glad it’s the weekend.
Kibou: Am I ever this wee was, well, really a downer. Monday I felt really depressed, I didn’t say anything to anyone and skipped lunch. Tuesday was about the same. Wednesday was ok, until Spanish. I had to do a presentation about myself and my family. I started out fine, but even before I got through talking about myself, I started panicking and totally blanked. I stuttered, and almost started crying. (Yes, I do cry!) But I somehow got through it...
Yami” Poor Kibou-chan *hugzz*
Kibou: Thanks for that. Anyway, Thursday I made muffins from scrach. 1st time, too. I asked my dad how they were, and he said they were too dense. Well thanks for the compliment! The whole week flooded back to me, and I just went to bed around 8:30 that night. Friday was the only “normal” day. At least for me. Lisa had some bad news: her boyfriend James had broken up with her.. And for a lame reason too! He said that “He was used to being alone, and he wanted to stay that way.” Who WANTS to be alone like that?! It’s just so... ugh! I can’t even explain it and anoth-
Yami: Kibou!
Kibou: ..... I was ranting, wasn’t I?
Yami: Yeah......
Kibou: Oops......

“I told you...” Atem began, breaking Anika’s thoughts. “We’ll find a way. We’ll figure out Bakura’s plan before he makes another move, and we’ll get through this.” He finished. Anika still had nothing to say. She finally breathed,
“Too many things are going on at once.” She looked at Atem. “And where would we even begin to ‘find a way’ to anything?” It didn’t take Atem too long to answer.
“We know that there is a spirit inside you, and that’s a start. We just have to figure out if you can truly control it.”
“I can’t.” Anika said promptly. Before Atem could protest, both of them heard Anika’s name being called out. It was Khalil. Anika quickly got off the bed and went to her and Khalil’s room. “Yes?” Anika answered when she got there.
“Oh, hey. I was just wondering where you were.” Khalil spoke quietly. “I was just talking to Atem.” She noted. Khalil nodded.
“Are you ok?” Khalil suddenly asked seeing Anika rub her forehead a little. She was a little surprised at the question.
“I’m fine.” She hesitated. “Just a little headache.”
“Oh.” Atem walked towards Khalil and Anika. “Morning, prince!” Khalil exclaimed. Atem let out a chuckle,
“Good morning.” He replied. “But you can call me Atem.” He added. “’Kay.” Khalil smiled. Something began to smell coming from the kitchen. “Something smells good......” Khalil murmured. Atem still heard him and told Khalil,
“Why don’t you go and figure out what it is, Khalil. We’ll catch up.” Khalil went running down the hall as Anika and Atem laughed at his anticipation. Atem turned a little more serious now. “Anika,” he started, “Later today, we can begin on figuring out what the sprit inside you is like, and perhaps controlling it as well” He paused, and faced Anika, “That is, if you want to.”
“I-I don’t know.” Anika stuttered. She looked down, then closed her eyes.
“We’ll take it one step at a time. And if anything start o get out of hand, we’ll stop.” Atem pointed out. there was a slight pause, but Anika raised her head and opened her eyes.
“Alright.” She said. “Let’s do it.”

It was now midday, The sun was bright in the pale blue sky. Atem had finished the little work he had that day, and later he met with Anika on the roof.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit nervous.” She admitted, looking out into the open desert.
“One step at a time.” Atem repeated. He held up the spell book he was carrying under his arm. “There are different ways of controlling spirits and magic. However, they have the same concept.” Atem explained, flipping pages in the book.
“Really?” Anika questioned. Atem nodded, then looked up at Anika.
“Ready?” he asked. Anika took a big breath.
“Ready.” she repeated.

Anime Night, Supper, and Shopping! Whoo!
Kibou: Yesterday was fun. ^^ I went shopping with my aunt Kim and got a few tank tops and a pair of shorts. I may want to do more shopping before going to Florida.... Hm.....
Yami: It’s in 3 weeks, right?
Kibou: Yes. Wow, coming up fast! I have to start planning... Oh I dunno. A lot. ^^; I found that we’re staying in a condo for the week, complete with a FULL KITCHEN! *victory dance*
Yami: Your favorite part of the vacation will be probably be the cooking!
Kibou: I can imagine that.... Forget Disney World, I’m making breakfast! XD Oh! speaking of cooking, Shelly came over last night and made... spaghetti pie! I know, sounds weird, but it’s very good. ^^ Just imagine a pie, bit the crust part is noodles, and the “filling” is meat, tomato sauce, and cheese! Yum.
Yami: and Shelly challenged Kibou last night. The challenge: Make dinner next week!
Kibou: YES! Of corse, I never back down from a challenge! ^^ So I get to make dinner on Saturday. Question is, what? Hmmm....
Yami: While we’re thinking on that, how about the subject of anime night? We had to move Yu-Gi-Oh since Kibou went shopping.
Kibou: Thank you DVD set of Season 1! Heehee. Joey vs. Bandit Keith. The first epi shows that Mai really cares about Joey... (awww...) and I love how Joey totally kicks but here! Keith is such a sore loser.
Yami: And do you know what episodes are next?
Kibou: *long gasp* Yugi and Joey... O_O Sad! The first time I saw that I cried! Now I know what happens, and I’ll still probably cry! (Ok, maybe not so much!) But speaking of reactions... here’s the rant about Naruto.
Yami: Reaction? You just stared at the TV screen for 30 minutes straight with your mouth gapping open. You had me worried for minute then!
Kibou: ^^; But seriously, I think the episode was very good, because Sasuke really sees that Naruto has changed SO much from the beginning. I think Naruto saw that a little too, in his own way.

   Finally, The Weekend’s Here!
Yami: And so another week comes to a close...... and once again, Kibou is thankful for that fact!
Kibou: Defiantly. This week was really busy for me! I couldn’t get on MyO if I tried. I can’t even remember what all happened this week! *thinks* Well, Wednesday I believe, I ordered Nami Tamaki’s second album Make Progress! ^^ I hope that comes soon. Heehee.
Yami: You’ll never sleep once you get that!
Kibou: I will so sleep! .... once I pass out from all the dancing. ^_~ Anyway, on the not so hyper side of things, I started working on a sewing project on Thursday, if I remember correctly. (Yes, sewing!) I’ll learn it sooner of later. What I’m trying to do is just take a shirt and skirt outfit, and make it into a dress. (That I will never wear!) So we’ll see how that goes.
Yami: We need a better sewing machine, though.
Kibou: That we do! Oh! I remembered a few more things: Friday was the multi-cultural show at school. Here’s the catch: Lots of show, not much “multi-cultural”. Unless you count hip-hop music. I got to see the show twice on Friday, which was nice. Honestly, I thought Friday would be an easy day, but it a little stressful and depressing for me. (I felt better after I got home.)
Yami: you should go and dance at the show. ^^
Kibou: If you say so..... heh.

Atem was Anika’s first sight the next day. He was sitting on the floor fast asleep with his head rested on his arms on the bed. Anika peered around and noticed they were in Atem’s room, with her in Atem’s bed. What had happened last night?
“Atem....?” She said softly, brushing her hand against his cheek. She suddenly let out a moan of pain, “Ow....my head....” she groaned. It was Anika’s touch that made Atem stir, but her voice woke him up instantly.
“Are you alright?” Atem asked. Anika was surprised to Atem’s quick awakening and jumped a little. “Y-Yeah...Just a ... a headache.” she stammered. She looked around the room again. “How.... How did I end up in here?” Anika questioned. Atem looked down for a bit.
“You...” he began, “You were being controlled, and you came into my room....” Atem broke off into a long silence.
“Controlled?” Anika repeated. Atem nodded. “By what?” she asked.
“Bakura.” Atem simply said as Anika’s eyes grew wide.
“That’s why he must have been here that one night...” she recalled. Anika was slowing putting pieces together, and thinking of the possibilities.
“Please Atem,” she spoke softly. “Tell me everything that happened.” Atem was reluctant at first but then nodded. Soon, Anika knew everything. “I’m so sorry!” Anika sobbed once Atem had finished. She threw her arms around his neck. “So sorry....” Atem put his arms around her and rubbed her back.
“It’s ok.” He whispered in her ear. “It’s all over now, and it wasn’t your fault. Like I said, we’ll keep up our guard, and make the next move.” Anika pulled away and brought her knees up to her chest.
“I thought I would have been able to sense at least something wrong.” She spoke.
“Maybe you have used up too much of your power.” Atem said, raising Anika’s chin up so their eyes met. Anika looked back down. Neither of them spoke. Anika’s mind racing, thinking of what exactly was going on, and what exactly had happened the night before. ‘I want to know everything there is to know about what this thing, this power is, inside me....’ She thought. ‘...Before something worse happens...’

   I Can See Clearly Now The Snow Is Gone..... XD
Kibou: The sun is out today! (finally) It’s nice to see it after all the snow and cloudy days. Spring can’t be too far off.
Yami: 17 days about.
Kibou: That’s good. ^__^ I like the warm weather. Ok now for Anime Night. For me, it’s kind of been cut down to just Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto. I think it’s going to be that way for a while. Why? Because Shelly comes over and makes dinner, then we all watch a movie after Naruto. I like having a dinner that’s not just like a green pepper or Easy Mac. But that’s off the subject. ^^; Anyway.....
Yami: Back on track with the Anime. =P
Kibou: right. So the first duel of the finals is over in YGO! I like the 2 that were on.
Yami: Because I’m in it? ^_~
Kibou: One of the many reasons. Ha! But it really starts the real bond between Yugi and “the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle” as Yami is so called.
Yami: Well, speaking of “spirits inside someone”, Naruto comes into play here.
Kibou: that episode was about 60% good. There was a lot of explaining. When that wasn’t going on, I probably stopped breathing a few times. The annoying part?
Yami: The 2-minute scene of Orochimaru and the Hokage.
Kibou: That battle has been going on for like, a month! But the Gaara part is so sad! That’s all I’m saying, for those who haven’t seen it. Now I feel really bad for little Garra! Aww..... But the funny part is that Shelly and my dad came downstairs and started to watch it! I said that they wouldn’t like it, and shelly just said, “Try me!” Afterwards, I asked Shelly how she liked her first 15 minutes of Naruto. She said it was fine. We should all watch it next week! XD

It’s Going to Stop.... Right?
Kibou: Snow kept falling after I shoveled!
Yami: That’s the weather here for ya... and I helped to, remember? Well, at least when you LET ME.
Kibou: I wanted to see how much I wanted to do. ^_^
Yami: Well, there wasn’t much of a snowball fight, since Kibou had to go and shovel the heavy stuff all by herself.
Kibou: I thought I was fine..... My right arm felt like it was dead. I guess the pain from shoveling comes AFTER the fact. I’ll have to remember that when I’m re-shoveling today! ^____^
Yami: You’re staying inside this time!
Kibou: ....if I do I’m going to do DDR instead.
Yami: As long as you don’t kill yourself....
Kibou: *sigh* Fine.........^_~

Atem had opened his eyes just in time to see a sharp blade come down towards him. He leapt off the bed and turned to see who it was. Atem gasped to see who stood across the bed from him.
“A... Anika?!” Atem stammered. He was stunned. “What’s going on?” Anika didn’t answer him. She moved towards him, the dagger still clenched in her fist. She swung at Atem again, but completely missing. “What’s the meaning of this?” Atem spoke, Anika remained speechless as she walked close to Atem. Raising her arm again, Atem caught Anika before she swung down. She looked up, and even though there was little light, Anika’s eyes weren’t the vivid crimson red they always were, but a solid dark green color. “She’s being controlled.” Atem thought. “But by who?” he asked aloud.
“That would be me.” A voice answered. Atem looked to see Bakura in the doorway. He looked at Anika, then Bakura again.
“I should of known you would show up again.” Atem scowled. “Rest assured, you’re not going to get away so easily this time. You’re not going to get away at all.” He took the dagger from Anika’s hand.
“Think you can get rid of me so easily?” Bakura chuckled.
“Hm... Don’t tempt me.” Atem warned.
“This was only a minor setback in my plan...” Bakura began. “But how was I supposed to know you weren’t a heavy sleeper?” He smirked. Truthfully, Atem wasn’t able to sleep, for fear of that something could happen that night. “Let... Anika... go...” Atem demanded. Bakura folded his arms and answered,
“No. ... You remember what I want, correct?” Atem didn’t answer, and Bakura continued. “I told you I was going to gain your power, and now, I’ll get Anika as well.”
“That’s it...” Atem muttered under his breath. He quickly lunged at Bakura with the dagger in hand. He caught Bakura off guard, and barley made a mark on Bakura. Atem didn’t waste a moment as he punched Bakura, knocking him into the wall. He slid to the ground. “I wasted too much energy today, and with controlling Anika....” Bakura thought, wiping the smidge of blood from his lip, “I’ll probably regret doing this...” Atem waited for Bakura to rise, but he didn’t. He did sense some kind of movement behind him. He turned and saw Bakura’s control over Anika slowly disappear. Anika’s eyes returned to their normal color as she wobbled a little, and began to fall just before Atem caught her. He quickly carried her over and laid Anika on his bed. Bakura’s energy had now returned to him, Atem saw in the corner of his eye. “We finish this now!” Atem declared, preparing for a fight.
“Not this time.” Bakura claimed, as his monster Diabound suddenly appeared around Bakura. “We’ll finish this in due time. Prepare to lose everything.” Diabound created a wind that blew around Atem’s room, and Atem held his hands up to block his face. Bakura laughed as he, and Diabound, vanished into thin air.

   SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!! ^____^
Kibou: I never thought I’d see one again in my life. I have a snow day! *victory dance*
Yami: *looks out window* I have no idea how people could even get through here... There has to be more then 6 inches of snow on the street alone!
Kibou” The county I live in never has snow days, I’m not even kidding! The last snow day we had, it was declared by the state, because the district wouldn’t close any of the schools. O_o And that was like..... 7 years ago or something.
Yami: the way it was snowing last night, you’d figure a snow day was imminent. And it’s still snowing now!
Kibou: Too bad today isn’t Thursday. If it kept snowing, it could have been a snow day for 2 days! *day dreams*
Yami: When should we got going on the driveway?
Kibou: *shrugs* I’m surprised I’m not sore from yesterday! That was the most snow I have had to shovel since I started actually doing it. It was 6 inches deep! And not too light and fluffy, mind you.

   Going on Vacation! No more Aggravation! Rest and Relaxation!
Kibou: *points to subject line* I do have Yu-Gi-Oh influenced mind..... heehee. Anyway, the little chant is because I am going vacation!
Yami: Florida come Spring Break.
Kibou: Yes! I’m going with some of my mom’s family. *looks over to Yami* And you’re coming to!
Yami: Yeah? ..... why?
Kibou: Um... to protect me from the ..... sharks? In the ocean?
Yami: You’re not going that far in the ocean.
Kibou: To protect me from the.... creepy guys and/or perverts?
Yami: I’d better start packing. ^_~
Kibou: =P I’m getting really excited, Spring Break is only a month away! there’s a chance of a trip to Disneyworld while we’re there. Where I’m staying isn’t really close to Orlando, its New Smyrna Beach. (RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! XD) Has anyone ever been there? Heck, anyone live there? Seems like a slim possibility. Heh.
Yami: You never know.
Kibou: True. *starts bouncing in her seat* I can’t wait! I wanna learn how to surf and try lobster and crab and a bunch of other... Florida...... stuff!
Yami: ^_^;; Well, you can start counting down the days.
Kibou: 31! In other news, and I’ll make this quick, school’s kept me busy. Monday I had a Spanish test, and it seemed slightly easier. But.... I made a mistake that could have been completely avoided, and I didn’t realize it until AFTER I turned it in and class was over. I prayed that it wouldn’t effect my grade too much. Yesterday, was mid-terms, so I got a report card. Good news! I got 2 A- s, 1 B, and a C+. ^^ I was glad about that. Also, I found that I got an A on the Spanish test! *victory dance* I got 48/50 on the vocab quiz in that class as well.
Yami: Things are really going pretty well so far. Shooting for the Honor Roll?
Kibou: Of course. ^^ I just hope I can make it!
and speking of making it, I am hoping on gettng to sites today. Sorry I couldn't make it Sunday! T_T Gomen, minna!

   IT SNOWED!!!!!!
Yami: Oh yeah, it snowed. It snowed A LOT.
Kibou: Shelly’s happy about that. Oh! Shelly slept over last night. (Shelly = My dad’s fiancée) It was nice having her here. She made dinner and it was VERY good. I loved it. ^_^ And she’s going to make breakfast this morning. But enough of that, on to the Anime Night!
Yami: There... wasn’t much... only Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto....
Kibou: Eh, it’s something. Because next week... Duelist Kingdom finals! I like the finals of just about any tournament. Everything is intense.... even though I already know what happens.
Yami: And with Naruto, who knows what’s going to happen.
Kibou: I swear, I wasn’t breathing for half of last night’s episode. Young Gaara was kawaii, though. I want to know... well, I don’t want to give anything away. But the ending really left me hanging! I felt bad for Gaara! I can’t wait for the next episode. But what’s kind of sad is that I completely forgot about the fight between the Hokage and Orochimaru. That I believe, is just stretching it out way too much...

Yami: Well, until Saturday that is.
Kibou: Oh yeah, it’s Sunday. (baka Kibou) I may pop in during the week. We’ll see. There might be a new wallpaper up sometime this week. I hope. Also, I’m going to change the theme to something green, probably. We’ll see how that works out! Ha!
