   First Week of Term 3
Kibou: One week down, 8 more to go for term 3. My CAD/intro class isn’t TOO bad. I’m getting used to it. English class is good, we’re reviewing/learning terms of literature. I know enough of them. Geometry is really good. It’s pretty much my strong point, and the teacher is really funny. He’s finally saying “Kibou” right. The worst way he pronounced was “Kai-bouw”. I couldn’t stop laughing! And, lastly, Espanola. (Spanish) Too easy. We’re learning the easy stuff. Numbers, ABCs, stuff I remember from the 2nd grade. ^_^; Here’s the funny thing. We got to pick our own Spanish names, for the oddest reason, I picked my name to be Anita. One away from Anika. Ha! I’m such a dork!
Yami: Imagine that. So it’s all fun?
Kibou: Ye..... well, no. I hate keep saying this, but it does get to be stressful. Ugh! I’m tired of school being overly stressful.
Yami: This was the first week, I’m sure it’ll get better later on.
Kibou: I hope you’re right....

Anika gasped as she and Atem saw Khalidah morph out of the palace gate.
“So.....” Khalidah smirked. “What’ll be?” She pulled Khalil out from behind her, a tight grip on his wrist. Dismay took over Anika as she looked at Khalil. Anika drew in a long breath, opened her mouth to tell Khalidah her choice...
“NOW!” Atem suddenly yelled. Anika saw a pink and purple glow around Khalidah she looked behind to the palace to see Mana and Mahad putting some kind of freezing spell on her. “Khalil, run!” Atem ordered. Luckily for Khalil, the grip on his wrist was loosened by the surprise attack. He wrenched free and ran behind Atem and Anika. By now, Khalidah had broken free of the spell put on her with the help from one of her own.
“You took the boy, now I get the girl!” She called out. With that, a spell fell upon Anika, causing her to loose control of her body. Anika struggled against it, but it was no use. “That’s not going to happen!” Atem assured Khalidah. Atem was ready for this situation. He pulled a sword out from it’s sheath and charged to Khalidah, the position of Anika taken into account. He swung at Khalidah, but missed, only since she moved out of the way. Her grip on Anika was lost. Atem found her weakness. She could only one spell at a time, and she couldn’t move with many of them cast. Even with that weakness exposed, Khalidah quickly conducted some of her energy into a sword to match Atem’s weapon. Now they both lunged at each other, swords clashing. “It was a simple choice for Anika to make.” Khalidah hissed at Atem. “Now I’ll have to kill you all.” She pushed against Atem’s sword, making him back up before she backed off herself. She muttered under her breath and a wave of energy hurled towards Atem. Not only throwing him backwards, but also putting a slash in his chest. Anika stared in horror seeing Atem hurt.
“Atem!” she cried, running to him.
No, stay back!” Atem told her, trying to get up without increasing his wound. Anika took her eyes off Atem and glared at Khalidah behind her. Anika clenched her fists as the wind started to blowing. The sand from the courtyard starting making clouds of dust as Anika’s eyes started glowing red. The wind started blowing faster as she began to release more energy. Khalidah was barley visible to Anika. Khalil’s visibility of Anika was diminishing.
“Anika!” Khalil cried. Atem looked up to see Anika suddenly starting to rise slightly off the ground.
“No!” Atem called out. He ran as fast as he could towards Anika with increasing difficulty. He finally reached her, and gasped as he saw a mass of black energy coming from Anika. He figured out what it was, and he had to stop it, and fast. Atem grabbed Anika’s arm, and pulled her down to the ground. But it was too late. Some of the power inside Anika had already lashed out at Khalidah. She let out a yell through the flying and blowing dust. The voice slowing dying out and dissipating, Atem put his arms around Anika, holding her tightly. She started to grow limp as the dust settled down. The courtyard cleared, leaving only Anika, Atem, and Khalil huddled in the middle of it all.

First Day of the 3rd Term
Kibou: OK! New Term!
Yami: Any exciting classes?
Kibou: No! Right now, I have CAD (Computer Architectural Design) Intro, English, Geometry, and Spanish. CAD is almost nothing like I thought. I thought it was some kind of computer drawing class. *sob* I want out. But I can make the best of it. So... Yeah.
Yami: Lunch....
Kibou: I have 3rd lunch now. (yay) Better than 5th/last lunch! >< But all my friends are in second lunch! Ugh. The only person I know that is James, the guy Lisa has a crush on. =P (She’s jealous of me for that!) Over all, my first day went well. Not too much homework and it’s all pretty simple.

Uh.... I guess that’s it. Kind of a waste of time, sorry. Um. *awkward moment*
Anyway, I may make another post this week, I’m not sure. I’ll get to sites, though! ^^ ... Hopefully. -_-

   The End Of Another Weekend
Kibou: *sigh* Sunday again. Not a very nice Sunday, either. It’s all cloudy and blech,... I’ll survive. Somehow! =P
Yami: There’s plenty to do. Like videos games or something. *shrugs*
Kibou: Or talk about Anime Night!
Yami: Well, that works too.
Kibou: For me, I’m so uninformed! There was a Yu-Gi-Oh GX marathon on, and I probably missed most of it! I watched 3 episodes. Fairly interesting, even if I didn’t know what was fully going on. ^^; I took a break and came back when the new Naruto was on. That was a good episode. Not as fast-paced (Duh, it was dealing with Shikamaru) But still, I liked his divergent plan. *thumbs up* I’m glad he didn’t die. Shikamaru rocks my socks off!
Yami: You’re not wearing socks..... Ok. What’s left? Prince of Tennis and Yu-Gi-Oh.
Kibou: I’m getting to all of that... Prince of tennis was almost the same pace as Naruto. Still good. Would anyone drink that weird vegetable juice? I MIGHT. It would depend. Now... for the Areas of Lost Souls.......
Yami: Brains.......
Kibou: *falls out of chair laughing* that was so creepy and yet funny! But yes. O_o Um. I dunno. Not much to say about that. It’s just the good ol’ YGO. ^^

Now, I just have to say I’m REALLY sorry for not getting to almost no one’s sites yesterday! My dad was hogging the computer from about noon to midnight. >< He was listening to music while cleaning the house, then he had stuff dealing with his iPod.... ugh. I promise to get to sites from yesterday and today. I have nothing going on today.

   Saturday Once Again.....
Kibou: I’m sure you all like this. Nothing much to say here.
Yami: That rant was yesterday.
Kibou: I’m just going to say that yesterday, I swear I was suffering from ADD or something! I woke up around 8, and I was always on the move! I was walking and eating breakfast, I did DDR, then went on the computer, and I was bouncing on the seat to the beat of whatever song I was listening to! The whole cycle repeated itself ever 3 hours or so.
Yami: It was amusing, but you had me worried at some points! You just wouldn’t settle down.
Kibou: *shrugs* At least my writer’s block went away!

Re-cap: Anika had 3 days to choose to either free her brother, or stay with Atem. Got it? Good. Here ya go!

Around early sunset, Atem went looking for Anika. He found her lying on the roof, looking at the multi-colored sky. Hearing Atem coming, she spoke out,
“Is there any possible way to win?” Atem sighed.
“I don’t know. But if there is, we have to find it.” Anika stood and looked at Atem.
“I’m.... I’m really sorry for all of this.”
“’Sorry’?” he questioned.
“For bringing you into this.” Anika told him
“It’s not your fault.” Atem assured her. Anika sighed.
“I can’t have Khalidah hurt my brother. But, I don’t want to be torn from everybody....Khalil, you... the power inside of me is pretty much my life force. If that’s taken away....I......” Anika couldn’t finish her sentence. She turned away and hid her face in her hands. Atem got what Anika was getting at. He was a bit shocked, but still was strong for Anika. He went up behind her and put his arms around her.
“I’m not going to lose you.” He whispered. “We’ll find a way.”

Two days passed. Anika was getting worried. She spent much of her time alone, since she needed to think, and because everyone was busy. Anika was lying on her bed, staring at the ceiling when Mana popped her head in the doorway.
“Message to Anika from Atem.” Mana announced a little plainly. Anika sat up on her bed.
“Oh, hey Mana.” Mana nodded.
“I heard what’s going on. What’s happening. I’m sorry.” She said. Anika didn’t reply right away.
“It’s the way things go, I guess.” Mana came and sat next to Anika. “Just so you know, Atem told me, to tell you, that even though he’s busy right now with all this ruling and stuff, you’re still his main priority.” She smiled. Anika smiled a bit too.
“Thanks. But he doesn’t have to worry about me.” Mana just shrugged.
“Yeah, but sometimes, Atem can be stubborn when he wants to be.”

The day came, Khalidah was coming back, and Anika had a choice to make. She went out to the courtyard around mid-day. Atem, still inside, had just got done with his business. Next he was going to tell Anika something of great importance. He was walking down a hall looking for her. He saw Anika down in the courtyard. But even more, he was Khalidah approaching the palace wall. She would be there In a matter of minutes. He quickly ran down to the courtyard. Before reaching the bottom floor, he saw Mahad.
“The time has come, let’s hope this works.” Atem said. Mahad gave a quick nod.
“I am still unsure of what to do.” Anika stated. Atem, a little short of breath, told her,
“Don’t worry. I -- ” Anika gasped, cutting him off. Atem looked to the door, and they both watched as the door started to change again just like it did three days ago. Anika and Atem watched as Khalidah came through. Atem got ready to put his plan into action.
“So.....” Khalidah smirked. “What’ll be?”

   Another 3-day weekend!
Kibou: NO SCHOOL TODAY! *spins in chair* I’m glad. It was the end of term 2 for me yesterday.
Yami: No more History..., Health...., Biology... ....Meteorology.......
Kibou: Yes, no more weather! T_T I’ll miss that class. But I have lots of other fun classes to look forward to.
Yami: This year and the next, since registration for next year was on Wednesday.
Kibou: Yep! I have Astronomy, Aerobics, Video/Computer Arts, Chemistry, but most importantly, Hotel/Restaurant/Baking Careers 1. Wow, that’s a mouthful! Um... this week, quick, yet very, very busy.
Yami: 3 days of studying and reviewing for finals for Thursday. Yeah. I’d say that’s busy.
Kibou: The finals were alright. I answered 227 questions in 4 classes. Yeah, I kept track, just because. The 3 days of studying paid off. Actually, it’s more like 2 ½. Monday I went shopping. And yes, I got to hang out with Michael! *dances* It was really fun. My grandma and I went to Toys’r’Us where he works, but we all mainly met there. We gave him a lift to the mall, where we hung out for 2 hours! (He was eating the cookies I made for him through it all... heehee) We went to the bookstore, and I used my gift card to buy 4 volumes of manga! 4 for the price of 3! They were all Yu-gi-Oh, of course. Now I have all of the first series! I have to start on Duelist Kingdom now. Oh! and there was a Hot Topic visit too. I got 3 pairs of earrings and 2 Naruto pins. It was a really great time. I hope to see him again soon! =D Ok, that was my rant of the week.
Yami: Are you going to rant about today?
Kibou: There’s nothing to rant about..... yet.

   1968
MLK Day!

Today we celebrate the birthday of a great man who fought segregation in the United States. He was a great man and had many great, meaningful words in his “I Have Dream” speech.

Let’s hope and believe his legacy will live on forever, not only in the United States, but in every country with segregation and discrimination.

Also, my writer’s block is slowly but surly going away. I started gathering some pieces together. Hopefully, it will be better then the part I had originally thought of. -_-; Heh....

   At Least I Have Something To Talk About
Kibou: Saturday was fairly good. After about maybe 5 things were no longer boring.
Yami” We have anime night to thank for that.
Kibou: *nod nod* I watched Naruto and the Prince of Tennis. And of course YGO in the morning. Ahhh... the good old re-runs. Heh. Naruto was awesome! The Hokage looks cool in his ninja outfit. I liked the whole episode! I love it when there’s a new jitsu. Prince of Tennis was also good. Whenever I watch it, I want to get up and play tennis. =P After that, I came up and visited sites and went to YouTube. With YouTube, it was nothing special. Watching videos, the works. So it’s all quiet and I get to this one profile....
Yami: Kibou here let out this loud, long scream that it’s a miracle I’m not deaf. You’d think something was attacking her!
Kibou: Yeah. I said I was sorry about that. ^^; I just got overly excited. This one person’s profile picture WAS ONE OF MY E-CARDS! ^_____^ The really uberly kawaii Christmas one of Revolutionshipping...... heehee. I was really happy about that.
Yami: 15 minutes later things were finally settling down.
Kibou: It was... funny! I didn’t see it coming. But I should stop ranting about this for many reasons.....
Yami: Ok.... And later last night, we watched the FullMetal Alchemist Movie Kibou got from returning 2 CDs last week.
Kibou: IT WAS AMAZING! I absolutely loved it. The storyline, the plot, the music, the ARTWROK! All very, very good. I guess another reason why I liked it is because it took place around the time of WWII. That’s my “favorite” for lack of a better term, to study. Yes, I did cry. Hey, how can you not? Both because I was sad and happy. I really recommend the movie. ^^
Yami: Probably something we’ll watch again in the near future.

   “..the beginning of a 3-day weekend, followed by a 3-day weekend, followed by another 3-day weekend you slackers...”
Kibou: Heehee. My Asst. Principle said the subject line on Friday. =P It still seems like Friday, weird.
Yami: Maybe it's because there's no one here, like there usually is.
Kibou: Maybe... Thursday was fine. It was the last day of my Greif Group. I got to skip Heath and go to a pizza party. I made cookies, by request. It was pretty good. I liked it. But FRIDAY. Friday was good. Remember the Perv? Isiah? Well, I go to where my group of friends usually stand in the morning in the lunchroom, and Tereasa, Isiah’s g/f, just says, “I’m going to kill Isaiah.” (not seriously) I said, “Yes! Wait...why?” APPARENTLY, he was cheating on 3 girls at one time. O_o Insane. Now a lot of people hate him, and are seeing the perverted side of him. (FINALLY!) So that was the big thing on Friday.
Yami: About time. I never liked him... *suspicious look*
Kibou: Well neither did I. Heh. Wonder what Tuesday is going to be like.

   Slowish Week
Kibou: This week is going by TOO SLOW! Not too much has happened.
Yami: Usually weeks like this are over before you know it. It is Wednesday, with the week half over.
Kibou: Yeah... The week so far.... *sigh* I’m REALLY REALLY sorry that I didn’t get to sites Sunday! I had homework, and when I got it done, my dad was hogging the computer for the longest time. >< Monday was better. I got my hair done! ^_^ It was Shelly’s (my dad’s fiancée) birthday gift to me. I had it highlighted, trimmed and layered a little. I really like it. Tuesday a lot of people did too. There was only one bad thing about Tuesday. We had a practice lockdown in my school, and since some people were laughing, we got homework. Ugh... didn’t like that.
Yami: But it all got done yesterday. And it’s more points that you got. That’s good.
Kibou: Yeah... I guess. Today we got Class Registrations for next school year! I’m excited, there’s lots of classes I want to take. Cooking, gym, and science classes. It’s all good. I dunno what else to say.
Yami: Today’s plan? Isn’t Lisa coming over for ramen?
Kibou: YES! I like that. It’s ramen night. Heehee. I have a test to study for, as well. I will get to sites today, I promise, and anyone who commented last time. The final order of business would have to be my new wallpaper!
