A Little Late......
Kibou: Today, I kind of slept in, then I had to clean because Shelly (my dad’s fiancée) and Bingo (Her uber kawaii dog!) are coming over. They are both over now. But that’s beside the point. Anime night for me was good. I’ve expanded from ½ hour to 2 hours. I watched Naruto... OMG! It was good! Kind of suspenseful, I think.
Yami: With Orochimaru and all. That was a cliffhanger.
Kibou: Orochimaru scares me. O_o I REALLY want to know what is going to happen next! What’s this whole little “plan”? Hm... I’ll wait until next week...... heh... um.... Prince of Tennis was good. I love how Ryoma is always so calm. Fierce, but calm. Then there’s MAR. I dunno... I’m starting to get out of it.
Yami: Maybe it’ll be one of those shows that you’ll watch if there’s nothing else on?
Kibou: Perhaps.

Boring...
Kibou: Well, there’s nothing really much to say for today...
Yami: Nothing happened yesterday.
Kibou: ... For once, I have all this space to say something, and I have nothing to say... Oh well! ^^

Anika gasped as a woman came out of the morphing door.
“Khalidah...” Atem angrily stated.
“Ah, so you remember me.” Khalidah smirked. Atem didn’t respond. “This doesn’t fully concern you, Prince Atem.” She stated. “Anika...” she called. Atem looked behind him to see Anika half angered and half scared. “I have something you want.” Anika looked at Khalidah with suspicion, still she said nothing. Khalidah stepped to the side, reveling a small boy.
“Khalil!” Anika exclaimed as she ran around Atem’s arm.
“Anika!” the boy beamed happily. They ran and embraced one another.
“I thought I’d never see you again!” Anika cried. Khalil could only nod.
“I always knew you were still out there, Anika.” Khalil finally choked out.
“It’s all right now.” Anika murmured softly. “We’re together again.”
“And that is where your options come into play...” Khalidah said. Anika looked up.
“Options?” she asked. Khalidah nodded.
“I’m giving you a choice. Khalil here is my prisoner. If you wish for him to be free, you will give me your power....” Anika looked horrified at the statement. She knew if she gave Khalidah her power, there would be a great chance she could die. “What do I do?” Anika thought. “I’d do anything for Khalil, but...” she sighed.
“What’s the other option?!” Atem asked angrily.
“Well, Anika can stay with you, Prince.” Khalidah smirked. “But there will be no Khalil, and I would make sure she would regret it.” Anika and Khalil were clinging to each other, with Anika looking between everyone.
“You’re twisted.” Atem murmured under his breath. Khalidah still heard him, and only shrugged at the insult. “No matter what, it’s a loose-loose situation for everyone... Atem thought. “There’s got to be a way...”
“You have three days to decide.” Khalidah explained. She walked over to Anika and Khalil. She grabbed Khalil and pulled him out of Anika’s arms. Anika couldn’t utter a word and fell to the ground. Khalidah was too quick. Khalil tried to struggle away for Khalidah, but it was no use.
“Let him go!” Atem demanded. Khalidah simply stated,
“He’s my prisoner, I’ll do what I want with him.” She turned to leave.
“Stop!” Anika called. Khalidah turned to look at Anika. She was standing, anger building within her. “Don’t you DARE hurt him.” Khalidah just smirked once again. Then she walked backwards to the palace wall. She turned and went through the solid door, just how she came. “Khalil....” Anika whispered as she burst into tears. Atem went over to Anika and held her.
“It’s going to be ok. He told her. “We’ll find a way, we’ll get your brother back.”

Not Much To Say.....
Kibou: The week is almost gone. There’s not much to say, though. Ever since Monday
Yami: Tuesday.
Kibou: Oh. yeah. Tuesday I got sick. Which is why I made a “Get Well Soon” e-card that day. I hate being sick! One thing I hate is that if I want to relive some of the headache or whatever I have, I have to take pills. I CAN’T TAKE PILLS! Dunno why.... I’ve managed to take one. (wow....) Today luckily, was easy. I had to take a writing test, which took up two classes, then we had a speaker in Health, then I had my Grief Group for the whole hour last period..... But onto other matters... um... I guess there aren’t any.....-_-‘
Yami: Yes there is. Even if you are sick, you’re keeping your New Year resolutions.
Kibou: I guess. Mainly I have been eating, sleeping, and going to school. There’s 3 resolutions in effect for me. I have been eating healthy, and I’m going to continue that trend. I’ve challenged myself not to splurge on food for 30 days. If I make it, Yami is going to buy me a Blizzard at DQ. Heehee. ^^
Yami: But this is just the beginning of the month. There’s a long way ahead.
Kibou: Don’t care, I’m going to make it. Another resolution I made to practice my art skills. I kind of started doing that. (go me) I’m not that good, so there’s a lot of room for improvement. *sigh* anyway.... I think that’s it. Yeah. I’ve wasted enough of your time with my stupid ramblings. ^_^:;;;;;;
Yami: *sigh* You should put “think positive thoughts” to your resolution list.....
Kibou: heehee.... perhaps.....=P

It’s a new year! *party* Oh wait... did that last night. Anyway, I just stopped in to say “Happy New Year!” to all my friends here at MyO. Last night was fun. =D

   New Year’s Eve!
Kibou: Tis the last day of 2006!
Yami: Now we have 365 days of 2007 to look forward to. But most of all, the countdown to midnight!
Kibou: I’m getting excited for that! The plan today is have Lisa over like she was last year. Pig out on all the leftovers of Christmas and burn it all off on DDR. =P And watched whatever is left of the Naruto marathon.
Yami: Speaking of anime, there wasn’t oo much anime for anime night.
Kibou: *sigh* no... No Prince of Tennis or MAR. But I got to see most of Spirited Away. That a very good movie, I really like it.

   The New Year’s Just Around The Corner!
Kibou: this week feels like it’s been going on FOREVER, and now it’s almost over! Bummer!
Yami: Well, there’s Spring Break to look forward to.
Kibou: In April! Other then that, nothing happened this week. Lisa went home early Thursday, and I just hung around home and did... virtually nothing Thursday and Friday! I did start thing for a title on my story. Vote for what you think is the best. Or if you have something different, tell me! =D



Now for the actual story....

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Khalil was asleep in the dark. He felt something crawl over his foot and woke up with a fright. He looked around, but saw nothing. He was in the dead end of a cave, faced to the wall.
“So you’re finally awake.” Khalil heard behind him. He spun around with a gasp. All he saw was a dark figure looming above him.
“W-Who are you? Where’s K-Keon?” Khalil stuttered. The dark figure answered with a question of their own.
“You were mumbling in your sleep about someone named Anika,” they stooped down a bit. “Who is Anika?”
“...M-My sister...” Khalil was hesitant to answer. “Where is Keon? Where am I?” He asked again.
Your sister, eh?” Khalidah said as she grinned in the dark.

It was about mid-day at the palace. Anika walked outside to the courtyard, looking up at the sky. Atem saw her and walked outside as well.
“It’s a nice day.” He spoke. Anika turned around, smiled and nodded. She walked over to Atem.
“About last night...” she began. “I really want to thank you. I-it really means a lot that someone cares.”
“I’m glad to hear that.” Atem responded. Anika continued
“And... I have thought that maybe... I could start over.... I’m not going to dwell on the past like I did before.” She looked down at her feet. “I’m sure I’m the only one from my village who survived, and my village is destroyed....so... can I start over? ... Here?” Anika asked Atem. Atem took her hand and told her,
“You already have.” Anika smiled and let out a small breath. They sat down on a bench around the pond, watching the fish swim in it. They started talking about what happened the day before, and Atem spilled his secret plan.
“So you had Mana, Mahad, AND Seto all in your plan yesterday?” Anika laughed.
“Yes.” Atem replied, chuckling.
“Very clever... and really sweet.” Anika said. “I never thought someone would do something the special for me.”
“Well,” Atem began, “You’re special to me. So I guess that--” he stopped and looked up at the palace door.
“What’s wrong?” Anika asked. Atem stood and took a few steps toward the door. Anika followed him slowly. The door looked like it was changing, morphing somehow, right in the middle. Atem put his arm out in front of Anika,
“Stay back.” He told her. Anika’s eyes grew wide and she let out a gasp as she saw...

   Looking Towards a New Year!
Kibou: I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone. Those two days were like a week celebration.
Yami: And it was about 75% white, too.
Kibou: Yes! It SNOWED! I was happy about that. I hope everyone had a good Christmas, and if ya don’t celebrate that, Hope you enjoyed your holiday! =D for those who recived gifts, what was your favorite?
Yami: Kibou got a Bake and Fill. Now I’m sure we’ll always have cake mix on hand.
Kibou: *claps* Yes! Speaking of food, as always, I helped my Grandma on Christmas Eve with cooking, then I helped Shelly Christmas Day. I loved all the food! It was really good!
Yami: Everything you make is good...
Kibou: Not always. ^^; Ok, maybe most of the time... I have a lot to do before that can be judged. But onto Christmas gifts, I got 3 CDs, Nickelback, Evanescence, and Cascada! The only anime I got was the 4th Inuyasha movie, and the Naruto Video Game, Uzumaki Chronicles. I watched the movie last night when Lisa slept over. Last night, we went to a Japanese restaurant! My first time, I was so excited! The made the food right in front of you, which rocked. So much skill! There was rice, shrimp, and soup. Then, Lisa and I both got steak and chicken with veggies. OMR! It was so good! We’re so going back there... We watched the move, and it was very good. I liked it.
Yami: and you didn’t cut off the circulation to my arm this time. ^_~
Kibou: Is that all? this seems short... not that it HAS to be long but...
Yami: you forgot about a few things. YouTube?
Kibou: Right! I have my new YouTube Account. It’s Kibou1212. Click the link if you have an account and want to add me, or whatever! ^_^ I have no videos up yet, but I’ll get some stuff up there soon.    Christmas Eve!
Kibou: I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve! I got up real early today. Practically the crack of dawn. I have so much to do yet! Wrap about 4-5 presents, make a bagillion cookies (I’m hardly exaggerating there!) clean.... Hope I can get it all done. What is everyone’s plan for the holidays? I’m going to my Grandma’s house today. We eat, go to Mass, go back and open presents. Tomorrow I say home and my dad’s family comes over. ^^
Yami: *comes into the room* I see you’re already up.
Kibou: Yeah. Surprised me, too. (I was up until 2 last night. -_-;) Watching ANIME! But mainly getting ready for today.
Yami: anime Night was a bit limited. There were only 2 shows we watched. Both of them new, and pretty good.
Kibou: The Prince of Tennis, and MAR. I liked both, one was action-y, and the other was adventurous and funny. The only anime I watched after that was the 3rd Inuyasha movie for about 5 minutes.
Yami: Couldn’t watch the 4th movie, Kibou might get that for Christmas.
Kibou: No spoilers on the movie here! Thanks! (Just a pre-warning)

   Hatsuyuki! (First snow!)
Kibou: I’m baaaaaaack! And better then ever. ^^ Thanks to all who pulled me through these past few weeks. But so much has happened I can barely remember anything! Lisa came & slept over Saturday night.We talked about her choir concert. I went to it on the 17th was BEAUTIFUL! Lisa was also in the play Christmas in the Land of Oz. It was very good. Lisa.... was a flying monkey. IT WAS TOO FUNNY! I got pictures... *laughs evilly* Also, I had to write a letter to myself that I will get in the spring of my senior year of high school...... I wrote a lot.....
Yami: 10 pages, front and back. You never stopped writing!
Kibou: I have so much packed in there. A few pages about my friends (mainly Lisa heehee), a few about all the guys I hate, ^^; ... and of course, MyO! I can’t wait to get it back!
Yami: Along with that, there’s finally snow on the ground. It’s been there for about 3 days. It’s been too warm for snow.
Kibou: Let’s hope it cools off a bit! I want this to last.

“Where are you taking me, Atem?” Anika asked.
“Just keep your eyes closed.” Atem smiled. He led her all the way up to the roof. Once there, Atem positioned Anika facing west. “Ok... you can open your eyes now” Anika did, and with it, a long gasp. Anika faced the most beautiful sunset she had ever seen. The sun made the desert sand a glowing orange, and the few clouds purple in color.
“It’s beautiful...” Anika breathed. She turned around to see Atem smiling at her.
“That’s not the only reason I brought you up here,” he said.
“No....?” Anika questioned. Atem shook his head.
“Close your eyes again, but hold out your hands.” Anika was a little confused.
“What for?” she laughed, but still did as she was told.
“Just wait!” Atem laughed as well. He disappeared behind a small tower on the roof, but reappeared carrying something. “Here” he said, gently putting it in Anika’s open arms. Anika opened her eyes this time to a bouquet of flowers.
“R-Red... Poppies....” she stuttered. Atem nodded. “These are my favorite... but... how did you know... and... and where did you get them?” Anika asked, burying her face in the sweet smelling bouquet.
“We were in that tunnel,” Atem began. “You stopped at the Red Poppy and said it was your favorite. I was looking for a bit yesterday for them. I finally found an oasis with plenty.”
“I knew something was up with you yesterday.” Anika giggled. She looked at the flowers, then at Atem, the flowers again, then Atem. She quickly went up to Atem and hugged him around the neck, catching Atem a bit off guard.
“Thank you.” she spoke. She eased her hold and backed a bit away. She went back to cradling her bouquet. Atem and Anika both started to say something, but cut each other off. They took a step closer to each other. Anika started again. “This really means a lot to me, Atem.” She said. Atem nodded.
“That’s good to hear. There’s just... one more thing.” He said.
“What’s that?” Anika asked.
“Happy birthday, Anika.” Atem whispered softly. He leaned in and kissed her tenderly on the lips. Anika was a bit stunned, yet kissed back. Anika felt somewhat weak and time seemed to stand still for both of them. They both broke the kiss after a while, and now Anika’s world was spinning. She leaned against Atem and whispered,
“You’ve made such a difference in my life... all the pain I’ve felt is... gone... Thank you...”

Atem and Anika sat close together against another tower on the roof, watching the sun set. They talked a little, but there was nothing much to say. The sky was now filled with stars as darkness fell. Atem felt Anika go slightly limp on his side. Anika had fallen asleep. Atem smiled as he picked her up and carried her back inside.

Answer: Yami-kun! It was in CapMon, the... 2nd to last episode if I’m not mistaken. Congrats to... nobody? OMR! I stumped everyone! =D Wow! *dances* Didn’t think that would ever happen. You know how YGO couples are? Shippings? Well... This week’s trivia:

   Damn.....
My YouTube account was suspended because of Copyright Infrigment. This really sucks, because I had really nice comments and everything. *sigh*
Heh. But don't worry, i'll be back... It takes a lot to keep me down. I'll tell you my new account name as soon as I have it.
If there's one thing about me, it's that i'm incredibly stubborn.
