Gomen
I’m REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY.... well, you get the idea. I’m extremely sorry for Thursday and all that. T_T What my dad said about me really sunk in. It’s been doing that mainly since my mom passed away. But I really want to thank for all the nice comments on Thursday *hugzz everyone* I helped a lot with my situation. I went to Lisa’s choir concert that same night, and I felt a bit better. But still, I was really depressed, and I didn’t really show it until I went to bed. I didn’t get much sleep, and I woke up 5 minutes before my bus came. Luckily I made it. I hardly ate anything on Friday and barely did anything. I think I freaked Lisa out a bit, since I always eat and I’m always hyper. I went to my friend Stephi’s b-day party, and that was a break from what I had been feeling all day. We went to the arcade, so I played lots of DDR and Laser Tag. It was fun, then I started to get stressed. I had to bake a cake, clean the house, and get everything organized for my party the next day. It was about 9pm. AND I had a fanfic to write! I had none of it done. I didn’t get to write it, and I felt so bad for that. My dad was starting to get a bit pissed off at me for no reason again, which wasn’t really helping me in my situation. But Friday night might have been the worst. I couldn’t sleep and so many things were going on in my mind. I just wanted everything to stop! It was making me go insane. I did finally get to sleep that night. I have Yami-kun to thank for that. ^_^ that and reminders that I have good friends, good times, and all you guys, (of course) Add on that my dad has no idea what really goes on. I felt quite a bit better. I may be clinically depressed (Depressed most of the time) But I’m hoping I’ll make it through. I have to face everything head on, right?
Anyway, I promise to get back into the swing of things, even though it’s the holiday season. Look out for some of my works! ^_^

I just have to post this.....
I don’t care if no one sees this because it’s so late.....
Today was the worst, and the best so far this week. I’m here telling mainly the bad. Tuesday was mid-terms. My grades were what I had expected. Still, my dad would freak if he saw them. So I hoped that we would miss conferences. When Lisa was over today, my dad came home, and said we had to go to conferences. Damn. Lisa went home, and my dad wanted to see my mid-term report. A little nervous, it said I had 2 Fs, a D and a B-. I knew he was going to bite my head off for my grades. Whet he didn’t know is that I had turned in a bunch of things that didn’t get put in, and Fs went up. Still, my dad started yelling at me. I immediately started crying. I kept saying I was really trying my hardest, and how I was doing better and the fact that my grades HAD changed. He didn’t believe me. He said I was an embarrassment to him. After that, I started thinking of running away. what I should bring, the letter I would write to him, the e-mails I would send to my friends, the post I would put here. Where I would go.... He was saying that all I do is come home and go on the computer and stay there all night and get nothing done. All I do is make AMVs and mess with all the “anime crap”. How the hell would he know? He’s not home 90% of the time! And I haven’t made an AMV in SO LONG! I just upload the one I’ve made a while ago. After yelling at me for 15 minutes or so, he said in 10 minutes we would go to conferences. I didn’t know if I really could. My eyes were really red, I felt completely lightheaded and sick. I crashed on the couch until it was time to go. We went to conferences, I was trying hard still not to start crying again. We went to my first hour, and my dad was shown that I was trying and my grades were better. After everything, I was really pissed. If there’s one thing that my dad hates, it’s not to admit he was wrong. He started laughing and joking with me afterwards. Oh yeah. So I’m not an embarrassment anymore? I asked him that, and he said my GRADES were an embarrassment, not me. DO NOT EVEN THINK about turning this story around! He’s such a jerk! >< Later, I was DOING MY HOMEWORK and I could overhear my dad talking to Shelly. He was saying my grades are what a stupid person would get. Yeah, thanks dad. I love you too. *sarcasm* >< I talked to Lisa about it, and that took a bit of the edge off. You gotta figure: My dad is pretty much saying I’m a failure. So do you think that really helps me with my confidence? Hell no! It makes me feel like I can’t do anything anf I have no talents. I thought parents were supposed to care for you, and be there for you. Not tear your hopes and dreams apart right in front of you and say you’re a failure.
Gee, aren’t I loved?

   Sweet Sixteen!
Kibou: IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! SWEET SIXTEEN WHOO!
Yami: someone’s happy for the occasion!
Kibou: Yeah.... Anyway, school today didn’t go EXACTLY as planned, but ended up pretty ok. I wore a tiara to school! Everyone was wondering why. =P A lot of people guess right. My b-day. Heehee. I made cookies last night and handed them out this morning.
Yami: Did you get mobbed?
Kibou: surprisingly, no. O_o People did start taking a picture with my tiara on! HA! My meteorology teacher asked if I was a princess. I thought, “Pharaohess..... Yeah. I’m royalty.” Bio I had a test... I’m sure I totally bombed it, but I tried my best. ^^ Um... Heath nothing really happened. For lunch, I ate a blueberry muffin and a chocolate malt. Yum.
Yami: I still fear the sugar high...... I think some of it is rubbing off on me. Oh Ra!
Kibou: Oops. In History, I got a B+ on my Ch. 20 test! Today was good. THEN I came home... nad ran right to the computer. Ree-Ree drew me a b-day pic! And I absolutely LOVE IT! *hugglezz Ree-chan* So pretty and totally awesome. Click here to view it!
Yami: I got something for you too, Kibou.
Kibou: YOU DID?!
Yami: Well yeah. ^_^
Kibou: *puts a cute look on her face* Can I have it?
Yami: *shakes head* No.... You'll have to wait until 5:00. when you are officaly 16.
Kibou: Does EVERYBODY want to make me wait! Now I'm getting hyper, just THINKING what you got.......
Yami: ^_` Just a couple hours is all.
Kibou: Well, before I get even more hyper, I’m ending this post. You’ve heard me rant enough about today and I’m sure it’s getting overly annoying. The good part: I have virtually no homework, so I’ll make around to sites today.

Laterzz!

Another Week Starts....
Kibou: Not much happened yesterday. Just went store to store looking for Christmas lights to put on the roof. It’s been too warm here. It’s in the 30s when it’s supposed to be likr0, and a million feet of snow on the ground.
Yami: We’re all begging for a white Christams.
Kibou: >< Damn you, global warming!!!!!!!!!! O_o Uh... anyway.. anime... heh. Of course there’s Yu-Gi-Oh. Still, I couldn’t stop laughing because I was thinking of the Abridged series. And get this: My dad watched an episode yesterday. It was funny. He didn’t really get Mako’s side story, though. I was surprised, he didn’t make some smart remark about it. Yay!
Yami: That is always a good thing.
Kibou: People know what happens when you make fun of Yu-gi-Oh. *muwahahaha*
Yami: any... way.... the other anime we caught last night was Yu-Gi-Oh GX and Naruto.
Kibou: OMG. Zane is like.... EVIL! I like his outfit, but I heard an EVIL tone in his voice it was freaky. And Naruto... heh heh... Gaara kind of scares me with his menacing heavy breathing and killing people instantly thing. O_o
Yami: Still, the next episode should be filled with a lot of action. You can deal with that, right?
Kibou: Yeah.....

Quote of the Week: It is not enough to do good; one must do it the right way.

Video of the Week: SakuNaru - Lips of an Angel

Kibou: No submissions this week. I’m working on a lot of different stuff, though. ^^ Watch out for some stuff! It may be this week!
Yami: What are you not working on ^_~
Kibou: Dunno! But I’m really excited for Tuesday....tis my birthday! Yes! 16! Yeah!
Yami: Heh. Save all the celebration for Tuesday. =P
Kibou: Trust me. There’s plenty left.

Until Tuesday!

Tired from Last Night
Kibou: Yesterday my mom’s family celebrated my birthday! (I can't wait for the actual day!) Yay! We went bowling. (LOVE bowling) I didn’t do so well. I was too excited and had a lot on my mind then. ^^; But I got some good presents. (Kind of) I got a fuzzy robe. I LOVE wearing it (and I am now!). It’s so... fuzzy!
Yami: *feeling the robe* It is really fuzzy. It seems so warm.
Kibou: there was $20 and DDR Dance Nova in the mix! Dancenova sounds cool, but it’s not that great from what I did, anyway. It's too slow. I like the challenging stuff.
Yami: The ones that when you go to fast you practically faint and then scare me!
Kibou: Yep. Those ones. But We’ll give “NOVA” another chance another time. There's chocolate cake which I’m sure will be gone in a matter of days. I’m looking forward to this next week. There’s my birthday, Lisa’s choir concert, Stephie’s birthday party, then top it off with my birthday party.
Yami: Wow. busy. December is hectic.
Kibou: Yeah... I’m done talking for now, getting on with the story. (It’s a bit long! Sorry about that!)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The sun rose in the sky the next morning. Khalil woke up not from the sun, but Keon loading supplies onto the camel they rode on. Khalil walked out of the cave where he slept.
“Ah! So you’re awake, Khalil. Good.” Khalil nodded.
“Are we ready to go?” He asked, already excited for what may lie ahead: Seeing his sister. Keon shook his head.
“Here’s some breakfast.” He handed Khalil a piece of fruit, which Khalil ate quickly. Keon used the time to pack up Khalil’s things as well. Everything secure, and they were off.

With the sun being up for a few good hours, Anika wondered where Atem could be. She hadn’t seen him all day. While Anika was walking down the hall, she ran into Mana.
“Hey, Mana.” Anika spoke.
“Hey!” Came Mana’s response.
“Hey. It’s time.” A voice said from a nearby room. Both looked to see Mahad coming out. “Time for another magic lesson, Mana.” He said, folding his arms. Mana nodded. She turned to Anika and asked,
“Anika, do you want to come along?” Mahad nodded an “OK” for Anika after thinking it over and she took the offer.
“Sure.” She said as they entered the room. “I’m just curious. Has anyone seen Atem today?” Mana and Mahad looked at each other. Mahad shook his head. “I’m sure he’s just very busy.”

Atem had been busy. He was riding on his horse across the desert, searching. A while passed when he finally found what he was looking for: an oasis with numerous flowers among it. Atem sighed, “Perfect.”

Far in the desert, Khalil and Keon were on their way to the palace. Khalil barely able to contain his excitement. Nevertheless, he was oblivious to everything at this point, but Keon had been noticing that there was a bit a of sand being picked up by the winds.
“I think we should stop for a minute. Let the wind die down.”
“Huh?” Khalil questioned, then noticed the sand blowing. “Oh....” Keon saw something of a large rock ahead. He stopped the camel and let Khalil off. As soon as his feet reached the ground, it shook violently. The wind picked up greatly, decreasing visibility. Keon quickly got off the camel, yet still hanging on to it as he yelled,
“Khalil!” he saw the small boy and grabbed him, but it was no use. In a matter of minutes, they were sucked under the sands of Egypt.

Many hours passed. Now, Mana was entertaining Anika with some of the spells she knew. The lesson was over. Anika was in the middle of a bout of laughter when Seto came in. “Mahad, Mana. Please come to the meeting room. There are some things to go over.” Both nodded. “that’s it for today, Anika!” Mana laughed as she left. Anika was soon alone. She thought maybe Atem was around, on his way to a meeting or something. Still, she wondered the halls all the same, off in her own world. “Today was actually... good. But still, I want it to end. Maybe my dream....” Her thoughts interrupted by the sight of Atem.
“Atem! Hey!” she called and ran up to him. Atem greeted her with a smile. “Did you get everything done today? Mahad told me you were busy.” Atem nodded.
“Yes. Everything is done. Except for one thing.”
“What’s that?” Anika asked.
Atem took Anika by the hand.
“There’s something I want to show you...” he said, leading her through the palace.

No trivia last week, but I have to say thanks to those who helped for a title of my fan fic. This week’s trivia:

Good luck!

S - M - T - W - T
Kibou: Just a recap of the week. ^^ I don’t want my Saturday posts to be too long. (And boring)
Yami: and you have free time and... What do you mean by “boring”?
Kibou: XP heehee. I dunno. *shrugs* Sunday Lisa came over and did DDR. We haven’t done DDR together in a REALLY long time. So that was fun. Monday was a test, Tuesday I got sick from the baked rigatoni I had for lunch. >< (It’s like lasagna but with different noodles). Wednesday Nothing big happened. Thursday was another grief group thing. Again, it was alright. And there’s.... *sigh*......
Yami: the beginning of mid-terms......
Kibou: Mid-terms come on my birthday. I’m a little worried that They won’t be as great as I wanted them to be. But I have to try, right?
Yami: *nods
Kibou: Anyway, I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. My mom’s family is celebrating my birthday. =D We get to go bowling and them go to my aunt’s house and stuff. heh. I feel so loved....
Yami: Well you should, because you are!
Kibou: ^________^ Uh... I’m still working on a title for my fanfic. Thanks for your ideas, those who did contribute. School’s getting in the way of everything! I’m planning on getting to sites today, but I can’t promise anything. Gomen! T_T but that’s the update until Saturday!

   Weird and Funny Dream!
I was Ed from FMA! ^^ A girl version, anyway. Al and I were on our way to somewhere, and we stopped in this nice village with a river. People barely noticed we were there. What they did notice is that the river was rising. Everyone started to panic. I told someone to calm down, that I could fix it. They somewhat calmed down, and told some people that this kid (me) was going to save the town. I clapped my hands, and placed them on the ground. (The whole Ed thing) A small, somewhat solid dirt wall appeared on both sides of the river. The walls would stay for about as long as the water was rising. Ok. My work here is done. ... Or maybe not. The water kept rising! People practically jumped over the river, over to where Al and I were. Everyone was in front of me, asking what they should do. I could still see the water rising, these people were blocking my way! I told them to get back behind me. Some didn’t really move much. They were too scared. A few walked up this hill. I clapped my hands again, and put them on the ground hard. The ground started to shake. A wave under the ground started moving. It started going up the hill, getting larger and larger. I told everyone to stay as far away as they could from this. People yelled as they stumbled up the hill. In a flash, the hill became a huge cliff, overlooking the village below. The river had calmed down. Not only that, I made a new one myself. There was a small strip of land between where this river on the cliff split in two. I walked along it, took off my jacket, and sat down. I heard cheers behind me. I smiled to myself and looked at the water. On my right side, it was gold-tinted water. I took out my pocket watch and tracked the insignia with my thumb. The after more applause, Al and I left to finish our journey. We got to where we were headed after a couple of days, which was my grandma’s house. I was outside on my porch the next day. The war that was going on was almost over. My dad (not Ed’s dad, my dad) was outside on the porch too, reading the newspaper. I said, “If some guy named Roy comes and asks for me, don’t freak out. He’s with the military.” I sighed. “And so am I.” (I’m still a girl here) I sensed something and turned around. I saw someone in my house, right in the doorway to the porch. “Roy....” I murmured. Roy had an eye patch on. He said there wasn’t much time to loose. I quickly ran with him to the entry way. There, Roy turned into a dog. ((O_o?)) We got into his truck in the driveway. We needed a map. So I ran inside and got a map. He went back inside to get some other random supplies. I ran from the truck to the house to ask about any plans that was coming up with my grandpa. I came back outside, and Roy the dog and I were ready to go. But we had forgotten so many things. We were running back and forth getting shoes, food, blankets, you name it. FINALLY! We were done. Roy’s still a dog as he got behind the wheel of the truck. We both fastened out seat belts, and we were about to go and take off... then my alarm woke me up.

The things that an Otaku will dream of.... ^^;
Have a nice day!

   IT’S SNOWING!!!!!!
Kibou: Finally! There’s snow falling! Yay!
Yami: *looks outside* Let’s hope is stays on the ground this time. And I bet you liked the way you discovered it.
Kibou: It was ok. Good News: Bingo, Shelly’s dog is here! Bad News: He was overly excited, and he squeezed out of a small door opening. We all chased him for a long time! He went around next door, across the street, back again, the over to the house behind us and that street. What a morning workout.
Yami: *putting more blankets on Kibou* Next time, wear more then a tank top and pants. -_-‘
Kibou: Heh I’m fine. But before this gets too long, it’s time for the rant about yesterday’s anime. =P
Yami: The good old episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh....
Kibou: Super special awesome ultra special sexy transformation sequence GO!!!
Yami: *slaps forehead* Right.
Kibou: hahahahaha! I had to do that. There was the last 15 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX I saw, and I was pretty lost. So I’m going to what Ree-Ree did, and watch all the episodes on YouTube to catch up.
Yami: Naruto was really good. Nothing can beat a good strategy.
Kibou: I watched a bit of the DBZ movie, it was ok. I liked it. And now, I just want to say sorry for not getting to everyone’s sites! I had a headache and couldn’t really concentrate. So I laid down and fell asleep fairly early.
Yami: Seems that you’re doing ok now, though. That’s good.

Quote of the Week:People were put on this earth to to discover their talents, follow their dreams, and live life to the fullest.

Video of the Week:Brothers (In English) I like this one better. ^_^ IT’S VIC!!!!

Thank Yous:
First, thanks to Angel Kenshin, telling me how to make the BG image stay still! ^^
Thanks for those who downloaded my wallpapers!
Lastly, thanks to those who gave me some ideas for a title on my story. I’ll try to think of one as soon as I can, and I’ll tell everyone when I have it!

To Be an Eventful Week, or Not to Be! Which is it?
Kibou: Well, another week down. (ANOTHER WEEK CLOSER TO MY B-DAY! Lookie! *points to counter yayness!*)December is here at last, and it’s finally getting cold! And yet I continue to not wear a winter jacket.
Yami: How you’re not sick yet amazes me.
Kibou: I’m insane like that. XD Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday was one big roller coaster. Monday I was tired, and almost fell asleep in Meteorology class!
Yami: Jim Cantore would be ashamed! ^_~
Kibou: I know...! Thursday I went to a grief group at school. My grandma was concerned about me being stressed over my mom’s 10th death anniversary. (Read Nov. 9 post for more info) It was ok. I don’t know if I’ll go next week, Thursday was the 1st day. Between the tons of homework I had worked on my new theme! *spins around* TA-DA! It’s here and it’s PERFECTED AT LAST! Only took FOREVER!
Yami: 2.5 weeks.
Kibou: I submitted my BG on theO.... felt kid of stupid doing it. (Like I’m self absorbed or something.) But that’s all I have really to say.
Here’s my background
And here’s something similar

Here’s the next part.... TA-DA!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was getting late. The sun was beginning to set. Anika hadn’t seen Atem since that afternoon.
“What will tomorrow bring?” Anika wondered to herself, sitting alone in her room. “Let’s hope your safe....”

Out in the middle of the desert, young Khalil was riding with Keon to the palace. He fidgeted in the saddle.
“Can’t the camel go any faster?” he complained. Keon chuckled.
“He can, but he must be getting tired. Why don’t we find some place to rest, and get up early in the morning, to continue our journey.”
“Ok. I guess we won’t get there any faster on foot!” Khalil smiled. Keon found a small cave with a couple of trees. He tied the camel’s reigns to the trunk, and two blankets for them to sleep on. After that, he set a fire so quickly, it almost seemed like magic. Khalil watched him carefully, analyzing what was going on. Khalil was thinking still, when Keon interrupted his thoughts.
“Hungry?” he asked with a smile. Khalil looked up and saw a loaf of bread.
“Yeah! Thanks!” he exclaimed as he took it. Both ate their meal of bread, a small amount of fruit, and some water. They both fell asleep as the fire died out. Khalil looked out of the cave to the sky.
“Let’s hope you’re well.” He murmured.

“So, you’ll do this for me?” Atem’s voice asked.
“Mm-Hmm.” Came the response. “This is going to be such fun!” Mana exclaimed only a little quietly.
“Shhh.....” Atem reminded her.
“Oops. Sorry!” Mana whispered.
“Leave everything to us,” Mahad assured Atem. He nodded,
“Thanks.” He spoke as he turned to leave. Anika was barely awake in her room as Atem passed.
“Atem......?” Atem heard as he passed Anika’s room. He stopped and poked his head in.
“Yes? Is everything alright?” Anika sat up from her laying down position and rubbed her eyes.
“I was going to ask you the same thing. What’s going on?” Atem thought quickly.
“Just... reassuring some things with the guards. Sorry if it woke you...” he lied. He hoped Anika didn’t catch the slight nervousness in his voice. Anika shook her head.
“I wasn’t really sleeping yet.” She explained, totally drained of energy. She yawned. Atem told her,
“You should rest. You’re really tired.....” “And you have a big day tomorrow.” Atem thought. Anika laid back down.
“O...k......” she murmured as she drifted off to sleep.

Congrats to:

KairiDono

I can’t think of trivia, for school has left me brain dead. ^_~ Actually, I do have a question. For those who read my fan fic: What kind of title would you give my story? (I’m putting this on fanfiction.net soon, I need a few ideas. This will help out a lot!)
Yami: guess that’s it.
Kibou: Guess you’re right. A lot to do today. (Watch anime and eat! What a day!)

Sunday.... Back To School Tomorrow...
Kibou: It’s Sunday... followed by a full week of school. Bummer!
Yami: Well, there’s Christmas Break to look forward to.
Kibou: Yeah.... I guess. Anyway, yesterday was alright. CapMon rocked! The last episode. Then there was the original, 1st season. ^^ I did nothing a lot, then Lisa came over.
Yami: Ra.... She brought sugar!
Kibou: Yeah. And.... we got a bit hyper. ^^; We ordered pizza and watched Naruto. It was really good! I’m looking forward to this next episode. Shikamaru vs. Temari! (don’t they make a cute couple? I think so!) Uh... Then we watched Duck Soup. (My fave Marx Bros. Movie!)

Quote of the Week: Please be my hope. You are my light Together we’ll win the fight.
-Kibou

Video of the Week: Comatose - Skillet

New Submissions
Kibou: No new submissions this time, the Thanksgiving ones are all that I have.
Yami: But prepare for a theme change soon!
Kibou: If I ever finish it! It’s a winter theme. I like it, but it’s a lot of work! But here’s something new: Has anyone heard of The World Of Narue? It’s a very good anime and manga. It’s about an alien girl [Narue] who comes to Earth, mainly. And she lives a normal life, only with alien powers and stuff. ^^ I like it, and I recommend it.
Yami: I believe that’s it.
Kibou: Yeah. I guess so. I hope you all have a good week!
