When Will This Turkey Wear Off? ZzZzZzZzZzzz....
Kibou: I hope everyone had a good time fill their face on Thursday (If you celebrate Thanksgiving, that is. ^^) Wednesday was tiring. I made cookie dough at 10 am, walked around for 3 hours shopping with my friend Megan (she came up from Colorado for Thanksgiving! Yay!) I came home and made the cookies, Shelly came over, and she and I started making stuff for Thanksgiving. That was about 4 more hours of standing. O_o
Yami: It was worth it. All the food was awesome. Loved it all.
Kibou: You love everything I make! But Thanksgiving was good. I got up at 8 to help make everything else that needed to be made. ^^ Yum. It was so cool!
Yami: And there is leftovers.... for now.
Kibou: Oh yeah. For now..... ^_~ Friday I was kind of tired. I didn’t feel like doing anything. The smoke alarm started beeping because it needed new batteries at 6:30am. I woke up and said, “I’m..... going to.... KILL YOU........”
Yami: Kind of creepy hearing that when you’re half asleep. O_o
Kibou: the only thing that happened is that I made a new friend! I was at Busy Buy and me and this dude started talking about DDR and stuff. ^^ He asked if I ever wanted to hang out. (Ha!) I was like, “Uh... sure.” I got his e-mail address. *evil laughter* He’s my friend Michael’s age, collage. I think they go to the same school. Hm...

Back at the palace, Anika walked slowly, moping. She was thinking of the dream she had. She didn’t like people getting hurt. Her reality was slapping her in the face. She really wanted to get out of there, forget all of this happened. Live normal in her old village, at least, one of them.
“I want to leave, see if there are any other survivors out there from my last village...” Anika murmured as she looked out a window. She continued her walk. Atem was busy at the moment dealing with a meeting or some other matter. She passed a room where Mahad was teaching Mana a new spell. Mana saw her walk by.
“Hey Anika!” Mana called. Anika looked up and smiled a little.
“Hey.” she responded.
“Feeling better? From a couple days ago?” Anika nodded. “I guess I better get back to my lesson before Mahad yells at me for stopping so suddenly.” She laughed nervously as she looked back to a smirking Mahad. Anika let out a chuckle and went on her way.

“It’s weird” Anika said to herself. “I feel like I’ve only been here for a minute. As if I’ve just arrived.” A few hours passed, and soon Anika was looking out a window, daydreaming. Atem walked up behind her, and calmly said,
“What are you thinking about?” Anika jumped and spun around. Atem jumped a bit, too. “Whoa. Sorry. Didn’t mean to scare you.” He apologized. Anika just shook her head and smiled.
“It’s ok. I was just off in my little world.” Atem nodded. “Thinking about the dream?” he asked. Anika shrugged.
“A bit, maybe.”
“Do you want to talk about it, like we have before?” Anika shrugged again.
“I’ve said all that needs to be said.” She responded
“No idea who it could be? That will... you know....” Atem trailed off. Anika looked away from Atem and out the window again.
“I do not know....” she said calmly, staring off into space. Anika did know, but kept it as a secret to herself.
“I’m going to be busy today” Atem informed Anika. “But if you need to talk, let me know, I’ll make time ok?”
“You don’t have to do that.” Anika explained.
“I know.” Atem said. “But I want to.” Anika looked from the window and saw Atem take his leave down the hallway.

What a Week!
Kibou: The two days so far this week have been filled with enough excitement to last me all week! So I’ll quickly tell ya. Monday: Well, it’s the beginning of the week. I got out of Health class and went to lunch. I usually fine Lisa sitting with the rest of our friends, and James. (o0o0o00o heehee) My friend Christina met up with me, she and I sat at the “Cool Table” for lunch. (the Cool Table is against the back wall. ^^;) We suddenly started singing, “Oops I did it again” and other weird 90s songs. It was too funny! (More happened, but I can’t remember! X_x) but Tuesday is when I t was really a party. On Tuesday, a bit tired. In Meteorology class the teacher asked, “What makes us see our breath in the winter?” I almost yelled out, “Like Ree-Ree’s picture of Yami-kun in the cold!” But I caught myself. (Phew) Biology was fun. We were testing stuff with carbon dioxide. The 2nd half of the lag, I had to run 5 flights of stirs. 5 TIMES! It was really tiring, but it was awesome.
Yami: You better not have pushed yourself a lot.
Kibou: Ummm...... no... heh. ^^; anyway, lunch was fine. Lisa got her class ring. (it’s SO PRETTY!) so Stephi, Lisa and I went over to an open area, where it wasn’t too crowded. Stephi said, “You should let James borrow this for a second, so he can get down on his knee, like this, and say ‘Lisa, will you marry me?’” then James said, “I’m right here.” Talk about an awkward moment. History was the best. The teacher asked us, “If you had a million dollars, and you could spend it on any 2 things, what would it be?” I was going to say a bunch of anime, but I said, “Anime DVDs, and a cooking ware set... including the RUBBER SPATULA!” And started laughing. My friend Liz started too as well. (Inside joke) People asked if I was ok. I was just hyper. We took a test, and afterwards, we could listen to music. BAD IDEA! I put on Nami Tamaki. I started doing little movements and lip-syncing. I was trying to embarrass Liz. I think it worked. People were making fun of me, which just encouraged me to do it more. Liz literally threw me a note saying, “No dancing, and no mute singing! Bad Kibou!” Too funny. And that’s it.
Yami: Yeah, I’d call that a full week. The plan for today?
Kibou: Let’s see... get up, breakfast.... Oh! I’m going shopping with my friend from Colorado. =D she’s here for Thanksgiving! And I get to see my friend Andy Handlon. I haven’t seen him on 5 years. I’m going to make cookies and start cleaning and cooking for Thanksgiving. ^^
And painters today are supposed to come and paint our house... no one here yet. Hmmm....
Now I’ll shut up before this post becomes too long. Sorry, that it already is!

Laterzz!

Pizza and Anime Night. Who Could Ask For More?
Kibou: Yesterday went pretty nicely. I guess. I dunno. ^^;
Yami: an hour of Yu-Gi-Oh and a marathon of Naruto. I’d say it went pretty well.
Kibou: CapMon was totally awesome. Only one episode left! T_T No! things are really getting interesting. Heehee... And still, it was nice to see a REALLY old episode of Yu-Gi-Oh. Half the time I couldn’t stop laughing, because I was thinking of the Abridged Series! *thinks... Torment.....* Ha!
Yami: And as Naruto goes....
Kibou: Once again, awesome. I liked the marathon. Although I wasn’t too thrilled for the 1-2 epis where they just stood there, talking every so often about the Hyuuga Clan. But still, I’m looking forward to the next match! Did I spell “Hyuuga” right?
Yami: Um...... I think. O_o

Quote of the Week: You'll be hearing from my lawyer as soon as he graduates from law school!
(Grouch Marx!)

Video of the Week: The funniest thing you’ll ever see! The Marx Brother’s Mirror Scene!
((Real Quick) The guy who runs in the mirror is impersonating the REAL guy with the moustache. And he copies everything he does! Brilliant!) And there is no sound, except for the mirror breaking

Yami: that never gets old..... and that was made in 1937.
Kibou: ^^ Duh. Last night went pretty ok. I just have to make sure I don’t eat pizza when watching Naruto. Especially if I’m eating pizza. ^^;

Oh! any submissions from me? No, I may do something today.... I dunno. We’ll just have to see!
I want to give a big THANK YOU! To everybody. I don’t know which one it was, but last Sunday, ONE OF MY WALLPAPERS WERE FEATURED ON THE FRONT PAGE OF MYO! *Dances* I was really happy about that. That was another one of my goals. I didn’t get to see it, so thank you Magnus Lensherr for putting that in your comment! I would have never known if you didn’t! *hugzz*
If I do put anything up today, I’ll update it on here, obviously!
But now, I’M HUNGRY!
Yami: Second that. =D
Kibou: Better eat before I DIE. tomorrow is a big day....... ^_~

   Sorry....
I really feel like I offended a lot of people this past week. For those people who could PM, and the ones that have read it, I’m really sorry. The replies I got, it made me sound like I was demanding you to visit me or update or I would delete you. That wasn’t the case, I swear! It’s just that some people on my list just signed my GB on a GB-signing spree just got popular. I feel like a deeply offended many. I’m SO sorry...... I feel like a huge jerk. I never thought it would be like this.

   Getting Colder & Colder....
Kibou: Ok. Another week gone. It was kind of stressful. I my schedule worked where if I wanted a certain class, I would have to switch all my hours around. So now, Instead of having History 1st hour, I have it 4, and with a new teacher. She is HARD! For the past two days, I’ve done nothing but homework! *phew*
Yami: On the brighter side of things, next week is going to be really short. 2 days.
Kibou: GOOD! ^_^ Um... the rest of the week went ok. Thursday I kind of got a bit depressed. Didn’t like that.....
Yami: That makes two of us.
Kibou: *nod nod* Friday was a little stressful. I didn’t go to bed until 11, and I still wasn’t done with my Health diet project. I got up at 6:45 the next morning, tried to do some of it on the bus, ended up doing it in the lunchroom after I RAN there at school, and managed to finish it in Meteorology. I was really tired. X_x
Yami: Now you have time to finally rest for a while.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

A small boy walked down to the river to get some water. He dipped a sun-dried clay jug into the rushing water and pulled it out a few moments later. He figured that since he was here, he might as well get a drink. The Egyptian sun was hot once again that day. He cupped his hands into the water. He remembered doing this from before. A chill was sent down his spine. He carried the jug back to the village at where he had been living and being cared for since he was found wondering the desert in a daze. A man had found him, and brought him back to his village to stay.
“Khalil, over here” a voice called for him. He looked to see the older woman sitting in the shade. Khalil smiled a little and carried it over to the lady.
“Here you go, Ma’am Neith.” Khalil announced. The old woman smiled.
“Thank you ever so much, Khalil.” He nodded, a bit sad.
“Yeah...”
“Is something troubling you?” Neith asked. Khalil sighed as she motioned him to sit down. Khalil began,
“Well, it’s my sister’s birthday soon. I have not heard of her since my village was attacked. I believe I’m the only survivor.” Neith looked at him with concern.
“I know it must be hard.” She spoke.
“Those bad Tomb Raiders took everyone’s lives!” Khalil claimed. A man walking past with a basket stopped nearby.
“Well, I heard there was one other survivor other then you, Khalil.” The man said.
“Hello Keon” Neith greeted him.
“Good afternoon.” Keon said.
“Another... survivor?” Khalil looked up at the strongly-built man towering above him from where he was sitting. Keon answered,
“Rumor has it, a girl was found. And she has been staying at the palace ever since.” He continued. “I remember someone also saying she had long black hair, and crimson red eyes. A real tough girl, too.” Khalil’s brown eyes lit up.
“That has to be her! It has to be!” he shouted excitedly. “How far is the palace from here?” He peered out into the desert. Neith informed him,
“It’s quite the journey. Over a day.” Khalil stopped.
“Oh.” he settled down, got up, and walked away.

After a while, Khalil was walking in the small village in deep thought.
“Hey, Khalil!” he heard someone yell. He looked up to see Keon. He had a camel and some supplies. “Why don’t we go for a trip?” he asked. Khalil was too excited to speak. He ran over to Keon, and soon enough, they rode out of the village towards the palace.
“Be careful!” Neith called out to them as they waved good-bye.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Two new characters: Neith is an old woman who is somewhat in charge of the village that Khalil is living.
And Keon is just a guy in the village, and kind of sees Khalil as a son. Just a bit more info for ya! They may pop up again somewhere. Ya never know with me! ^_~

   Mid-Week
Uh... nothing much to say. I just don’t want Saturday’s post to be unbelievingly long.
Sunday I didn’t go to my cousin’s arty. (yay) I got most of my homework done (double yay!) But I couldn’t get to everyone’s sites. *cries* Sorry! My dad kicked me off when I was half done! I’ll try to get to some most, if not all sites today.
Monday was fine. A little bit of a roller coaster, but I’m really starting to get the hang of things. It feels like a bunch of weight was taken off my shoulders. *sigh* I’m glad.
Tuesday, pretty much the same thing. Heath we’re keeping track of what we’re eating and how many calories we’re burning (since Friday) I keep forgetting what I did! =P
Wednesday: Same old same old. BUT I found out that Chris and Angie broke up. *laughs menacingly* (I don’t like Chris) =P Haven’t seen him since last week. (Like that’s a bad thing!) And Angie keeps waving at me. O_o I’m always on the opposite side of the hall to avoid what Lisa called it, “My ex-future boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend’s hug of un-interpretcal DOOM!” so yeah. I guess that’s it.
I have to go write a short story for History now. (me? write a “short story””) HA! =p

See Ya!

P.S. Check your PM box later today or tomorrow!!

   Working Sunday
Kibou: Yesterday, I watch as much as I could of anime night. I didn’t get to see Yu-Gi-Oh, though. I woke up at 10: 30! >< EVIL BAKURA TURNED IT OFF, I SWEAR!
Yami: Kibou, you can’t blame everything on Bakura.........
Kibou: I. don’t Care.
Yami: Besides, we did watch it via DVD.
Kibou: Yeah. AND IT WAS COOL! ^^ CapMon rocks! I want to say something about an upcoming episode, but I’ll not. Say. One. Word. Then there was Naruto, which was a pretty good episode, funny a bit too. Frogs are strange and mysterious creatures.
Yami: um.... mysterious?
Kibou: Yes. *nods* I’m still not a big fan of Trinity Blood or Bleach. *shrugs* Oh well. Two of many anime.

Quote of the Week: A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

Video of the Week:
I listened to this song a lot on Thursday...

Kibou: I was going to go to my cousins’ birthday party today, but one of my cousins, Clayton, is a complete duechebag (at age 10!) and a jerk, so I don’t feel like going. And besides, I still have homework to do. If I did go, I’d be there late, and rush to get much homework done. Better safe then sorry.
Yami: *nods*
Kibou: As far as my submissions go, I got a couple new e-cards and wallpapers. ^^ Check them out please! =D

E-Cards: Vandread, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Wallpapers: Naruto, FMA

thanks for all who downloaded my GITS wallpaper! ^^ It's now on the first page in popularity! I reached a goal! yay! *dances around the room.* thanks!!!!

Better get started on everything, then!

See ya!

Last Post of the Week ^_~
Kibou: Well I posted so much this week, there’s nothing really to talk about. Friday I got some work to make up from Thursday. In History, the teacher asked if I had my collage done as well as some syllabus I had to get signed. I didn’t have the papers, just the collage. I said quietly, “so I’m screwed, right?” The teacher said “Yeah.” Apparently, we took a lot of notes Thursday. I knew this was going to be rough. I asked my friend Liz if I could borrow her notes. She really didn’t want to get them back out, but this girl I don’t really know, says, “You can borrow mine!” so I get to copy her notes into my notebook. *victory dance* I AM SO NOT TOTALLY SCREWED!
Yami: It takes a lot to get you down. It barely scratched the surface.
Kibou: That’s because someone taught me never to give up. ^_~
Yami: ... heh.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Anika had been quietly sound asleep since mid-day. It was now night and Anika was still soundly asleep, until the nightmare began.

Anika saw a small boy riding with a man on a camel. The small boy waved, and Anika waved back. The man had the camel stop and let the boy off. As soon as the boy touched the sand with his foot, the ground started shaking violently. The wind picked up, carrying sand with it. Anika hid her face in her arms, protecting herself from the wind-blown dust. She heard the boy cry out to her. She squinted out into the wind. Just in time to see the camel, the man, and the young boy being sucked underneath. “No!” Anika yelled. The wind started to die down. She reached to spot where the boy was, but it was too late. They were all gone.

Anika jolted up from her bed, breathing hard.
“Khalil....” she whispered. She took off the covers and ran through out the palace and out into the courtyard. She stumbled and let out a small cry. She reached the door and pounded on it. “No....” she murmured. Anika’s movements were enough to wake up Atem. He, too got out if his bed, and walked to his window. He pulled back the curtain to see Anika hunched over at the palace gate. Atem ran down the way Anika did. “What’s running through her mind?” he wondered on his way down. “No. NO. NO!” Anika yelled over and over, pounding the door.
“Anika.” Atem called out for her. She didn’t seem to hear him. “Anika!” he said again, putting a hand on her shoulder. Anika let out a gasp and she turned to Atem, tears streaming down her face. “What’s the matter?” Atem asked softly, wiping tears from her cheek. There was a long moment of silence as Anika calmed down. She debated to tell Atem or not.
“I-I had a nightmare...this same thing has happened for a long time, around this time of the year. Around my birthday.” Atem waited for her to continue. “These nightmares have people I loved, but then they disappear somehow. I always felt like I had caused of it, and I could have prevented it... this time, it’s strong.” Anika paused for a minute, “My birthday is in 2 days. I’m worried someone will get hurt. The person in my dream was outside of these walls. But I can’t get to them.... I don’t understand why this happens to me. I don’t think I can take it.....” Anika said as the tears started coming again. Atem stood Anika up, his hands on her shoulders.
“You are strong, Anika.” He began. “If you need someone to lean on, I’m always here for you.” Anika looked down.
“I’m not letting anyone die.” She murmured quietly as she and Atem walked back in the palace.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I’m SO Sorry that the part was so confusing! >< I can never seem to get it right. And I’ll keep talking so that Yami doesn’t have a say in it! Just Kidding! ^^
Ok, last week’s trivia was a flop.
Yami: It NeVeR hApPeNeD!
Kibou: Um... thanks for that... ^^;; so this week Hm.... Who... Oh!
In Ancient Egypt, who owned the Millennium Scales?

DUN DUN DUN!

And that concludes this post.
Yami: with “dun dun dun”?
Kibou. Yes.

See Ya!
