Thank you all for your uber nice comments yesterday. It really meant a lot to me. *hugglezz everyone*
Yesterday went pretty well. My grandma picked me up, and we went and got a beautiful bouquet of flowers, plus a pretty rose. We got a fake plant to last through out the season as well. We met my aunt for lunch, then we went shopping to kill some time. The whole family was going to meet at the grave at 5. My aunt and Grandma made me get a slight make-over, just for the heck of it. I never wear make-up, because it’s expensive and I don’t need it. It was ok, but I didn’t like it. It came off soon enough. So everyone met at the cemetery. Everyone was talking and I stood behind and back a ways. They asked if I was ready to go or wanted to stay a bit longer. I just bawled out crying. Then everyone else did. They were saying how much I was like my mom and stuff. They were thanking me and everything. I got so many hugs. (so much for the make-over) We all finally calmed down and went for pizza. My aunt dropped me off and I looked at the stuff I got. I got the make-over, which was gone, but I got lotion and a few other things like that, and my Grampa gave me some of his really yummy cookies.
So, yesterday went really well. I enjoyed it. I never thought a good day would include crying Niagara Falls, but this was an exception.
*bows* thanks again.
I will get to sites from yesterday ad today when I get home from school. I’ll try my best.
I hope you all have a nice day!
See ya tomorrow! ^^ Comments (5) |

November 9th, 1996
Kibou: I’m staying home today. I’m not sick or anything. I’m home for another reason. I don’t really want to say anything because I know that... ugh. I dunno.
Yami: You can say it. They have a right to know in a way.
Kibou: Ok. Before I say anything, just know, I’m not posting this so you guys will feel sorry for me.
Today is an extremely important day for me. A big anniversary. I’ll stop holding you in suspense if you’re in it, but....
Today is the 10th anniversary of my mom’s death.
I know that some of you may think that’s nothing. But I just wanted to tell SOMEBODY. Yes, my friends know... but still.
So hence the Angel theme on my site... the song I have on my site is my mom's favorite church hymn and the song that was played at her funeral...
I really miss her, and I barely knew her. If you’re wondering how she passed on, well, I can’t give you the fullest, detailed story, I very young. But it went something like this: My mom and dad got mad at each other for something. My mom moved out of the house, and moved with this guy she knew from work, named Chris, in an apartment. They had a baby, and today 10 years ago, my mom was alone with my half sister. (remember? Savannah?) My mom had a seizure then. She slipped and hit her head in the bathroom. (Chris moved away to Las Vegas with Savannah not much later then that.)
Gawd, it was so hard for me to understand what was going on. Heck, I was only 5. Reality was slapping me in the face. And I still didn’t know what was going on. I’ve heard stories from my mom’s side of the family about what happened when I was younger. Those are my most treasured memories and I think of them often some way or another.
I think it’s amazing that it had been 10 years since she was first gone. I’ve been dreading this day forever, like I wasn’t ever going to see the day. But it’s suddenly here. But I am looking forward to visiting her grave today.
My grandma and I are going to go get a big bouquet of flowers and balloons. Then afterwards, my mom’s family will all go out to dinner.
Still... wow. 10 years have passed. I wish she never left. At least I’ll never forget her.
I am standing strong today, looking towards the sky, never forgeting, knowing there's people loving me in a place where I can't see them.
The Week Thus Far
Yami: Warning. Kibou is a bit hyper today.....
Kibou: Sunday night, Lisa almost spontaneously slept over since we didn’t have school on Monday. We were watching some AMVs until my dad said we had to get off. We started freaking each other out with the whole seeing ghosts and feeling like we’re being watched. Lisa saw my CapMon DVDs, and she asked if I wanted to watch them. Heck yeah! So we did. And we got about ½ way through the 2nd disc. It was fun! We kept yelling out “ACTIVATE DUEL ARMOR!” Too funny. Too too funny. Monday, nothing really happened. So I’ll skip to Tuesday.
Yami: Before you do, take a nice, deep breath. I know you’re going ro get excited about this...^_~
Kibou: *deep breath* Ok..... I HAVE METEOROLOGY FIRST HOUR AND IT IS SO FUN!!!! ^_^ I love the weather and stuff. *takes another breath* sorry. ^^; Um... my other classes are Biology, Heath, Lunch (heh heh) and finally History. Great news: Andrew is in my lunch! Yay! I’ve barely seen him this year. And today... eh nothing much. Same thing as yesterday. I have homework in every class again. But luckly, it’s not all due tomorrow. Yayness. I’m making a collage of myself right now. ^^ So it has a bunch of stuff about anime, cooking, and my fave J-pop and J-rock bands. And Nami Tamaki! Ha ha! shutting up before I get really hyper.
Yami: *hides the candy*
Kibou: i'll get to sites in a bit.... right after I find out where Yami hid the candy! ^_~ Comments (4) |

Sunday
Kibou: Last night... Phew.... was strange....
Yami: How so?
Kibou: Too many freaky dreams. I can’t even remember any of them.
Yami: weird.
Kibou: Let’s see.... Yesterday was Anime Night (duh) Capsule Monsters was cool! I remember watching that in my mini-marathon. Prepare for action, guys!
Yami: Then they showed Epi. 1 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Missed it, so we just watched it on the DVD we have of it.
Kibou: I know that episode by heart. Ha! I missed most of Anime Night, I was on the pone with a bunch of people on my mom’s side of the family. I did, however, watch the new episode of Avatar and an episode I haven’t seen yet: the swamp. Both episodes were very good. The new episode’s storyline reminded me a lot about my situation with that jerk Chris that I know. Grrr.... hate him.
Yami: but on the bright said, we watched Asia Street Comedy. That was funny.
Kibou: *nods* but here we go again on the not too bright side. The trivia got me confused too yesterday. I’m just going to cut that one. I don’t think it’s actually truly accurate. Gomen! Heh....
Quote of the Week:Never give up, look evil right in the eye, shatter the darkness within.
(Ok... where did THAT come from? O_o)
Video of the Week: Kingdom Hearts - Rush
I think this contains spoilers, so watch out for that.
I guess that’s about it. I’m going to go a little shopping with my grandma and we’re going out to lunch! Yay! But I will get to site, obviously. Thanks for all the comments last time. =D
One Quarter Down, 3 To Go
Kibou: Well, the quarter id finally over. A lot of stress is sliding away.
Yami: which is good for you. I hate it when you’re stressed like that. *hugzz*
Kibou: I got the most stressed in the history of my life. >< Wow. I don’t think I did too well on the tests in Science and History. Driver’s Ed was good. Good news, I HAVE MY PERMIT!! ^________^ So everyone better watch out!
Yami: I think you’ll be a good driver.
Kibou: Unless I have had sugar. Unless.
Yami: *nods* well, there’s that factor. ^_~
Kibou: Away from school, I got a new DDR pad yesterday! My old was starting to get really bad. ^^; I do Heavy too much... I love it! And I guess that’s it.

.....After Anika was alone, and she sat awake on her bed, with a dreaded thought.
“The last time this has happened to me, I had to leave. No one would accept me, so I left.” She mumbled to herself. “I’ve tried that, and all have failed. I think I can safely go now. But will I make it? I had help from--” she let out a small gasp as the thought came back to her.
Anika was in a small clay house when she was younger, just like everyone else. She was making some food, relieving some tension and stress from what had happened. Something inside got loose and she hurt some people. She couldn’t control it. The cooking made her relax. Suddenly, angry voices cam through into the room.
“There she is! The trouble maker!” One of them had yelled. People started coming in.
“You’ll pay for what you have done!” another screamed. Anika was terrified. She grabbed a bundle of clothes and ran into the house. It getting dark and she kept running into things. The house wasn’t big at all, so she was almost cornered immediately. Suddenly, a head popped up in a window. It looked black from the lack of light. Anika stopped running and started to back away.
“No, no.” the figure spoke. “I’m here to help.” It was a boy, a bit older then Anika. She decided to take the chance. Anika heard voices coming behind her. Her bundle of cloth started crying.
“Shhh.....little one.” She reveled a baby in the cloth, and tried to calm the baby down as much as she could. The voices getter closer, the boy held out his arms to the baby. Anika gave him the bundle and after that, he reached in for Anika. She took his hand and he pulled her through. The crying got louder from the baby as Anika and her mysterious helper ran between two buildings. It was dark, and the crying baby calmed down a bit. Both of them were breathing hard. It was now night,
“Thank you.” Anika was able to get out. The boy she saw nodded.
“Stay here.” He instructed. He sneaked into a home and came out with a bag for the baby and a small horse. “Don’t worry where these came from.” He said. “Just get out of here quickly, find a new village.” Anika looked at him, even though she couldn’t see his face.
“Please tell me, why are you helping me and who are you?” she said as the boy helped her onto the horse with the baby. He responded with,
“We’re alike, that’s why. And my name is --” but he was interrupted by mad voices. “Get out! Now!” He hit the horse with a small whip and it took off.
The memory ended. “I can’t believe I--” Anika said as she fell asleep again.
Atem was walking down the halls. He saw Mana with no Anika. He walked up to her
“Where’s Anika?” he asked. Mana looked around, trying to think of something.
“She... she...” she didn’t want to lie, but she didn’t want him to worry. Finally she sighed. “She’s resting.” Mana said. “Just don’t worry about her.” She covered her mouth just then. Atem gave her a look.
“What’s wrong?” Mana looked down. Atem had an idea what was going on. “Well, thanks for that much of information.” He said. Atem turned and walked to Anika’s room. “Anika?” he whispered. No answer. He looked inside and saw Anika lying on the bed. He walked over to her and touched her cheek. “Get some rest. A lot of it.” he said as he pulled blankets over Anika and then left the room.

(Gomen It’s so long!)
Ok last week’s trivia: Who many duels did Anzu/Téa play?
A: 7. She beat Joey 5 times according you Yugi, played a duel against Mai in duelist Kingdom, and one in the Virtual World. I thought I had everyone stumped on this one! Guess I didn’t. congrats to
omnimaster
This next one may be tough for some. Is there a fan-made character in Yu-Gi-Oh? (as if, they are never mentioned in the actual series)If so, who?
Good luck! ^^
*does a little dance* New Theme! ^^ I love it. It’s all heavenly and all that. Like it?
I guess that’s all the time I have right now. I’m hungry! =D
Yami: Don’t forget me!
Kibou: Well Duh.
Change!
Kibou: *looks at the last post* Wow...... my life sucked this week. I can’t believe I was that..... down. And stupid, too!
Yami: I know it was Halloween, but could you scare me in the positive way next time?
Kibou: Sorry. Things are getting really stressful. At least now I can breathe. Thanks for the comments guys! ^^ But actually, Wednesday wasn’t all that bad.
Yami: Nope
Kibou: Well, after Yami dragged out of bed at 5:55 IN THE FREAKING MORNING, I got a ride to school to finish some Driver’s Ed business. I finally got that done. That was alright. Later, IN Driver’s, Ed, I found that I HAD PASSED THE CLASS! ^^ *dances.* I was almost too excited! But also yesterday, we made chicken fried rice. OMG it was AWESOME! I loved it. (It was the first time I have had it) today we made green tea (that was brown) and wontons. I made a lot of them, it was my first time with both of those. Didn’t really care for the tea, but it was a bit strong, anyway.
Yami: you must make the fried rice. It sounds too good.
Kibou: ^^; Alright. I din’t really know what else to say. I’m sorry about yesterday... wow. and not getting to sites! OMG. It’s becoming a habit! Ack! Stupid stressful life. X_x
Yami: There’s a lot to study for tests tomorrow..... Driver’s Ed, Biology, History....

Is It Over Yet?
Well, the Halloween party on Sunday was a bit disappointing. Lisa went as a fallen angel, and I went as a Maiden of Darkness. (totally fits my personality.)Lisa and I were really close to leaving. No one would listen if someone said to be quiet. We were playing Truth or Dare at that time. At one point, we all get went around with the same truth. And it was disturbing a bit. It was “who would you have innocent fun with, and not so innocent fun.” I ignored everybody, when it got to me, I had to say something creepy. I said, “does killing someone count as ‘fun’?” Everyone (2 guys and 13 girls) all were shocked. And the non so innocent fun? I’d MURDER THEM! It’s a Halloween party, I HAD to do it. Lisa and I made it more fun at the end by dancing like complete idiots. ^^
Monday - Still bad. Looking forward to Halloween. I went in early to school to finish 2 tests I had missed. I could only take one. Pretty much, I had failed the class. Great. In History, I found the results of my writing test I had took on Friday. Failed it. I couldn’t take it. I shoved everything off my desk, broke down and cried ¾ of the hour. I had my head down during the test I was taking. I finally smiled a little in 3rd hour. But not much.
Then there was Halloween. My dad said I could go trick-or-treating because I as too old. I wanted to go out and have fun. Lisa kept her promise of being a Knight of Ni with me. (Monty Python and the Holy Grail) We got everything ready, and I was stuck at home, answering the door for 5 hours, when only a few kids came. I felt bad because Lisa couldn’t go alone, and I was the only one that could go with her. I hated it. My dad was being a total prick about the whole thing. I wanted to sneak out. I didn’t get it, because the one time my dad gives a damn about what I do, it’s Halloween night. Kinda sank into depression. I’m sorry, but....
But It’s near thattime of the year again. “That” Will be made clear soon. I’m sorry. Things in my life are so stressful right now. Nothing seems to be going right.
Halloween Party ^^
Yami: *Messing with Kibou’s braids*
Kibou: Yami?..... what are you doing?
Yami: It’s not everyday that your hair is up in a tangle of braids. It’s really different.
Kibou: ..... *messes up Yami’s hair* now we’re even.
Yami: fine.......
Kibou: Well, my hair is in braids cuz I want it to be wavy for the Halloween party I’m going to today! Yes! *dances* My 1st one too. I got a costume yesterday and everything. Lisa’s going as well. I’m really excited and hope all goes well. ^^
Yami: As for anime night... let’s see... Capsule Monsters was good.
Kibou: duh. Naruto rocked1 I haven’t seen it in a while, but I could tell what had happened. And OMG, here’s the 9-tailed fox! That was COOL! Still, Ebisu is a perv. -_-
Yami: any guy does that with you, I’ll tell them what for!
Kibou: Ok. Thanks. ^^;
Quote of the Week:Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
Video of the Week: Thiller! ^^
Kibou: And that’s about it...
Yami: don’t forget to set all the clocks back an hour. Daylights savings and all that.
Kibou: I knew an hour of sleep somewhere! And well, I guess that’s not it. I have a new Invader Zim e-card and wallpaper! What do you think? (also, my InuxKag wallpaper/e-card ^^) ok NOW that‘s it.
Saturday Once Again
Kibou: First, thanks for all the comments on my poem Monday! ^^ It meant a lot to me. On Tuesday, I went to Lisa’s choir concert. OMG!!!!!! IT WAS SO GOOD! Her choir group did a Korean song and it was really beautiful. Wednesday, was a bit weird. I gave Angie (Chris’s girlfriend) A smile and a wave and she gave this bratty “Ugh... whatever!” look. Then I saw Chris, and I saw a bit of “I like you....” look in his eyes. Ok... FREAKY! Thursday, I saw Aaron, Chris, Isaiah, and Noah (all the guys I can’t STAND!) all in one day. Bit of an overdose there! Friday, eh, nothing. ^^ Today, ANIME NIGHT! Oh yeah! ^^ Plus Yu-gi-Oh, DUH. And I’ve been talking all this time, why haven’t you said anything, Yami?
Yami: You were talking too fast. And you’ve been up for what? 15 minutes?
Kibou: I’m just naturally hyper I guess. But really, that’s all I have to say! I guess all that’s left is the story. ^^; *NOTE: I modified / added a little bit to my last part.. If you have time, please read it. It's yesterday's post below. I meant to add it last time! X_x thnx!*

Mana finally let her hug on Anika go.
“I thought you were......” she started, but stopped. She backed away and put her hands on her hips.
“If you ever pull a stunt like that again I’ll... I’ll....uh....” Anika laughed.
“Thanks for your concern, Mana.” Anika said with a slight bow. A voice spoke out suddenly.
“Oh, Anika, you’re up!” Everyone turn to see Isis walking towards them. Anika nodded again. “That’s great. You’re fully rested?”
“Yes, for the most part.” came Anika’s response. She continued, “Even though all that I did go through, I don’t feel too different. Maybe a little tired when I really think about it, but all together fine.” She felt a little awkward having three people looking at her, as if she would do something amazing. She got out of a small daze as Mana suddenly took her by the arm.
“I have to tell everyone you’re ok!” she exclaimed. Before Anika could say anything, they were both running down the halls. Atem let out a chuckle. “No matter what, Anika always seems to put a smile on someone’s face.” He said to himself.
“I must tell you something.” Isis spoke out to Atem.
“Yes?” he answered.
“I believe that I had a vision about the woman after Anika, Khalidah.” Atem’s attention was fully turned on what Isis had to say.
“Are you sure it was her?” he asked.
“She fit your description of her.” Isis claimed. “Now, at least, we know why she’s coming after her.” Atem looked out the window again.
“I want to know more.” He murmured. “For her safety and because....” he trailed off in his thoughts. Atem was all alone in the hall now, out the window he saw Mana and Anika walk outside in the courtyard.
Anika laughed at Mana’s hyped-up attitude as she spoke excitedly to Mahad. Once Mana was done, Mahad asked,
“So you’re feeling better?” Anika nodded.
“Good to hear.” Soon enough, both were off again. Inside the palace, Mana ran ahead, looking for someone else. Anika ran a bit, but her footsteps slowed. “This is all too strange.” She thought. “I feel like I shouldn’t be doing this, shouldn’t still be here. I don’t understand.”
“What’s wrong?” Mana said from up ahead. Anika looked up.
“I don’t know....” Anika responded. Mana walked over to her. “I feel like a lot of my energy was just... drained.”
“Oh, I’m so sorry for dragging you all over here. We would of stopped if you were feeling tired.” Anika shook her head.
“No, it just happened.”
“Go lie down and rest.” Mana said with concern. Anika hesitated.
“Please... don’t tell anyone about this. Especially Atem. I don’t want him worrying over me.” Mana lead Anika back to her room. After Anika was alone, and she sat awake on her bed, with a dreaded thought.

Last week’s Trivia: What name did Malik/Marik go under when dueling Battle City?
Answer, Well it’s none other than Namu!
~Congrats to:
Yami: wow. We got a lot of winners this time.
Kibou: Yeah..... Ok. I’m going to think of a REALLY hard one. ....*starts laughing*
Yami: O_O no. ANYTHING but that.
Kibou: heeheehee.... fine....... How Many times has Anuz (Téa) dueled? (Some were not shown, don’t forget those!) ^_~ Good luck!
Yami: there’s some thinking power for ya.
A Modified Version of the Latest Part In My Fan Fic
The air seemed still after Atem stopped speaking. Anika murmured,
“I don’t know what to say....” as she looked down.
“You don’t have to say anything.” Atem assured her, blushing a little. He motioned her to follow him down the hall. Anika smiled a little and followed. After a bit, Atem asked, “Anika? Why didn’t you tell me?” Anika hesitated her footsteps for a moment. She knew what he meant by that.
“I-I was afraid.” came the meek response.
“Of what?”
“Remember when Seto was going on about how innocent lives would be sacrificed? I was afraid that if someone found out, they would take everything away from me, because what’s in me was powerful.” Atem nodded and said in response.
“Believe me. I wouldn’t let anything like that happen to you, Anika.” He turned and faced her. “I told you that Seto can go off like that when it comes to a battle. If you’re with me, you’re safe.” Anika chuckled.
“Because you have to protect the people of Egypt, right?” Atem smiled and his eyes sparkled a bit.
“Right.” He let out a laugh as well. Atem and Anika were walking down the tunneled hallway, and nearing the end. Anika stopped at a particular painting on the wall. She focused on part of it. A small boy getting water from the river. She thought a moment “Where have I seen this before?” she wondered.
“Something the matter?” she heard Atem ask.
“No. Not really. ” was the answer. “The picture just reminded me of something... but I can’t put my finger on it.” she shrugged. “It’s nothing to loose sleep over.” She said and smiled innocently.
“If it’s the boy you’re looking at, I’ll tell you, he’s a boy that carries out duties and warns others of danger. That’s what my mother told me.” Anika’s eyes widened a bit.
“Oh.” was all she could say. As they continued walking. Anika let out a bit of breath.
“What is it?” Atem asked.
“This flower....” Anika explained, tracing it with her finger. “This is my favorite flower, the Red Poppy... I never see it anymore...” she trailed off. There was a bit of silence again as Atem thought and Anika remembered.
“We’re near the end.” Atem informed her, breaking the silence. Anika looked confused.
“That was really short.”
“Trust me,” Atem said “We’ve been in here longer then you think. Let’s just hope no one missed us.” Anika nodded. They walked up and out of the tunnel. “Remember, you can’t tell a single soul about this.” Atem told Anika as she nodded. Both walked casually down the hall, not saying a word.
“ANIKA!!!!” came an excited yell from behind her. Anika turn to see Mana running towards her. She didn’t have enough time to react as Mana gave her a huge hug.
“You had me worried!” she exclaimed. “First the battle then you go missing! Where were you?” Anika took a little time to catch her breath again.
“I just got up.” She explained. “And... was getting some air.” She looked at Atem out of the corner of her eye and saw him nod slightly. Comments (2) |
