   ((Last Day of Vacation))
Ok. So here’s the poem. I don’t really like for a lot of reasons. One: It’s too repeatative, and two: I got way too out there. It’s just bad that way. *sigh* but here it is. Just don’t beat me over the head with anything for saying its bad.

   Safe and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAVANNAH!
Kibou: Well there was no Anime Night for us last night.
Yami: Something even better replaced it.
Kibou: Lisa did come over, and at this one point she checked her MySpace. James (the guy she likes) Posted a bulletin called, “I wish”. You would type out a wish only using the first letter of each word.
Yami: Like “I wish that I had a million dollers” would be converted to: I W I H A M D.
Kibou: James had put “I W T M L W J E N” What did it mean? I guessed it I said, “I wish my life would jut end now”. So sad. Lisa talked to him for 4 hours. With me right there helping along. He scared both of us with what he was saying. And in the end, I believe Lisa saved a life. We were so happy when he smiled again.
Yami: Kind of reminds me of a situation I’ve seen. *nudges Kibou*
Kibou: Yeah well, I dunno. I wrote a poem about it... I'm debating if I should put it up. I feel like I'm showing off.
Yami: You're not showing off. you have really good ideas.
Kibou: *mutters* I'll never hear the end if it... I guess that’s all I really have to say. A lot of emotions were stirred last night, and I know I’ll never forget it.

Kibou: *smacks forehead* Wow. I’m stupid. Today is my half sister’s birthday! ^^ I made her a cake yesterday.
Yami: *tries sneaking away to get a peice*
Kbou: *pulls him back in* I’ll be talking about her more later on I’m sure..... She turns 10 today! whoo! Happy Birthday Savannah!

Half Over Already!!
Kibou: Well, my 5-day weekend is half over. Sad but oh well.
Yami: There’s always summer vacation to look forward to.
Kibou: That’s years from now! O_o anyway, Lisa and I didn’t go to see The Grudge 2 on Thursday. Many reasons why. The main reason is because of James, they that was going to come with us, couldn’t because his dad didn’t know who we are. Understandable but still a bummer. I may see it some other time.
Yami: there’s 3 days left this weekend, plus next weekend...
Kibou: Heh. There’s no plan for the next three days. It’s funny. And nothing had really happened this week. Hopefully something will happen today.
Yami: Capsule Monsters will happen... and Anime Night.
Kibou: IT’S GOING TO SO ROCK! Lisa should come over, sleepover and there shall be pizza!
Yami: *thinks* sometimes I wonder what will hapeen if I kept my mouth shut...^_~
Kibou: But for now, I guess here’s the story! ^^

The air seemed still after Atem stopped speaking. Anika murmured,
“I don’t know what to say....” as she looked down.
“You don’t have to say anything.” Atem assured her, blushing a little. He motioned her to follow him down the hall. Anika smiled a little and followed. After a bit, Atem asked, “Anika? Why didn’t you tell me?” Anika hesitated her footsteps for a moment. She knew what he meant by that.
“I-I was afraid.” came the meek response.
“Of what?”
“Remember when Seto was going on about how innocent lives would be sacrificed? I was afraid that if someone found out, they would take everything away from me, because what’s in me was powerful.” Atem nodded and said in response.
“Believe me. I wouldn’t let anything like that happen to you, Anika.” He turned and faced her. “I told you that Seto can go off like that when it comes to a battle. If you’re with me, you’re safe.” Anika chuckled.
“Because you have to protect the people of Egypt, right?” Atem smiled and his eyes sparkled a bit.
“Right.” He let out a laugh as well. Atem and Anika were walking down the tunneled hallway, and nearing the end. Anika stopped at a particular painting on the wall. She focused on part of it. A small boy getting water from the river. She thought a moment “Where have I seen this before?” she wondered.
“Something the matter?” she heard Atem ask.
“No. Not really. ” was the answer. “The picture just reminded me of something... but I can’t put my finger on it.” she shrugged. “It’s nothing to loose sleep over.” She said and smiled innocently.
“If it’s the boy you’re looking at, I’ll tell you, he’s a boy that carries out duties and warns others of danger. That’s what my mother told me.” Anika’s eyes widened a bit.
“Oh.” was all she could say.
“We’re near the end.” Atem informed her. Anika looked confused.
“That was really short.”
“Trust me,” Atem said “We’ve been in here longer then you think. Let’s just hope no one missed us.” Anika nodded. They walked up and out of the tunnel. “Remember, you can’t tell a single soul about this.” Atem told Anika as she nodded. Both walked casually down the hall, not saying a word.
“ANIKA!!!!” came an excited yell from behind her. Anika turn to see Mana running towards her. She didn’t have enough time to react as Mana gave her a huge hug.
“You had me worried!” she exclaimed. “First the battle then you go missing! Where were you?” Anika took a little time to catch her breath again.
“I just got up.” She explained. “And... was getting some air.” She looked at Atem out of the corner of her eye and saw him nod slightly.

   3 Day Week, 5 Day Weekend
Kibou: Well, I just want to say this week has been ok. Sunday was really fun! I went to Lisa and Kevin’s birthday, and made a complete fool of myself. Lisa’s mom was walking around the house with this funny witch hat on, with all the relatives in the house. Lisa stops her mom and she and I go into her room and think of a spot to hide the hat. I was holding it, and suddenly, I bolt out of Lisa’s room with the hat on, running through the house with Lisa right behind me! It was hilarious!
Yami: You do too many crazy things when you have sugar. ^_^;
Kibou: I’m a danger to the human race. ^_~ Just Kidding! The rest of this week well, Monday was busy. 6 hours of homework. Tiring, but got it all done. Tuesday was as busy, but I had plenty to get done. I kind of had an up and down day.
Yami: Then you got WAY too overly hyper. Don’t scare me like that. ^_~
Kibou: *innocent look* Sowwy.....
Yami: Not the face!
Kibou: Anyway, Wednesday still had homework, but it’s fine. It’s all routine. Lisa and I ars planning on seeing a movie. The Grudge 2. Yami, you’re coming!
Yami: uh-oh........
Kibou: *looks around* Ok, I’m only going to say this once. *whispers* This guy James id going with us too. Lisa likes him. Shhhh! It’s a secret. ^_~
But I think that’s all for now. I’m going to work on home work and Otaku work, I guess you could call it that. I’ll get to sites through out the day.

Kibou: Sorry I didn’t get to everyone’s sites yesterday. I was kinda tired.
Yami: you fell asleep on the desk.... I wouldn’t really consider that “Kinda”
Kibou: What. Ever. *yawns* anyway, Today Shelly and Bingo are going to be back here again. But I’m going to Lisa and Kevin’s b-day party. Their birthdays are a month apart. (plus a year) So celebrate them both. Ha! I’m going to pig out on brownies and jell-o!
Yami: what a day. ^_~
Kibou: nothing to rant about for Anime Night. Only that Capsule Monsters was too funny! It always is.

   Saturday the 14th! O_o o0o0o0o0o0o0o0ohhhh......
Yami: What’s big about Saturday the 14th?
Kibou: I have no idea, but I wasn’t here for the Friday the 13th! Ha! anyway, the rest of this week was pretty neutral...
Yami: Except for the snow and Wednesday and Thursday.
Kibou: It snowed! T'was awesome! And cold. Very cold. I made hot chocolate. ^^
Yami: It was very good hot chocolate.
Kibou: ^^; Um... thanks? Anyway, yesterday we had a ½ party in Foods class. We could bring one guest, and I dragged Andrew from his class to come to the party. =D the class made bars, but they weren’t that good...
Yami: What you made wasn’t too bad.
Kibou: then you can have the rest! I brought a whole plateful home. But other then that... nothing has been going on. Well, one thing. Lisa noticed that she was getting bolder. I said I had a goal of getting known a bit. And I have! Yay! Glad about that. Now that’s it. ^_~

*I got the idea in the dream. Weird, huh?*

Atem led Anika by the hand through the palace.
“Where are you taking me?” She finally asked. Atem looked behind him.
“Shh.....” came the smiling response. Atem walked into a small, dark room with Anika behind him. He made sure they weren’t being followed. Atem felt around a wall and suddenly it moved, making a rumbling sound. Anika jumped back a little.
“What was that?”
Atem whispered, “Our way in.” Anika peered into a small opening. They both entered as the door closed behind them. Soon, fired torches illuminated the hallway. Anika gasped as she saw the most vivid wall paintings to been seen.
“Wow....” Anika breathed. She followed alongside the wall with Atem. “They’re beautiful.” She said. Atem nodded.
“Here, it’s more then the paintings themselves. This place is magical and spiritual, guarded by the gods. This hall represents life, and the paintings show changes through out life, love, and fate.” It sounded like he was remembering it from when someone told him. Anika She traced a dark line with her finger. It seemed to be like a vine, turning and circling. Anika followed it until it stopped. She looked up at the painting of a beautiful goddess. “Who is she?” Anika quietly said. Atem explained,
“She’s the... goddess of love.”
“Oh...” Anika responded. The whole place seemed to be about her. Anika turned after a while and started walking towards Atem.
“There’s more then jus the paintings here.” Atem said.
“Like what?” Anika questioned.
“Stories and history are here.” Atem answered. “Plus a mystery.” He looked at Anika as he continued. “I have to pass it on.”
“I’m listening.” Anika assured him.
“The mystery is, the one I care for has something inside. That one can have the world divide. One small thing decides a fate, they must decide before it’s too late.”
“It’s a riddle” Anika murmured.
“One that I have yet to solve.” Atem explained. The both thought a moment, Atem occasionally looking towards Anika looking down at her feet. Finally, Anika asked,
“Who else knows about this place?”
“You are only supposed to share this with one person.” Atem explained. “My mother showed me this, and my father before showed her.” Anika looked at the painting again.
“It seems they are all in your family. I’m of no relation... Why did you show me this?” Atem blushed just a little. He said,
“You only share this with one person, no one else.” Atem said again. “The connection is... that you share this... with a person you truly care about.... someone you love. Atem looked over at Anika as there was a long moment of silence.

   ^_____^!!!!!!
Kibou: Today was pretty awesome. I went to school, and saw Michael! (that really, really, really good friend of mine, graduated last year) Lisa and I were walking down the hall, then she says, “Hey, isn’t that your buddy?” I turn around yell out “MICHAEL!” run, and jumped/hugged him. ^^ It was funny! He almost didn’t see me coming. Heehee.
Yami: you don’t greet me like that.
Kibou: ...........fine. *drags Yami out into the hall and goes to the opposite side* YAMI KUN!!!!!!!! *tackles Yami*
Yami: Ok.... then. Thanks, I think.
Kibou: That was fun. ^_~ Anywho, um.... Mike and I pretty much walked around the school. He wanted to hang out and visit his former teachers, but they wouldn’t allow it.
Yami: bummer....
Kibou: this kid in my Foods class asked if we were going out. O_o;;;; um.... no. He’s too old for me. He’s just an awesome friend.
Yami: A little awkward.
Kibou: *nods* Monday was pretty neutral, I just wanted to talk about seeing Michael again! Yayness! He actually got into Lisa’s person bubble. I found that quite amusing. But I should go for now... I have homework to do. I’m making dinner tonight.
Yami: Yes!
Kibou: ^^ simple stuff, though. Stuffed shells and chicken wraps. Heh. I have studying to do. I’ll get to a few sites today for sure. And thanks to everyone who downloaded my wallpaper. &5 and counting. AND for my YGO character themes AMV, 1000 views! Thanks! That wraps out this post over the past two days. 21 days until Halloween!    *TOO TIRED TO THINK OF A SUBJECT*
Kibou: Yesterday pretty much ROCKED!
Yami: Bike ride, DDR, Capsule Monsters Marathon...
Kibou: that was TOO AWESOME! We watched every episode. I thought there was going to be more, but no.
Yami: and you didn’t fall asleep this time!
Kibou: I almost did! It went really late! And I can’t believe that the bad guy was---
Yami: Don’t give it away now, Kibou! ^_~
Kibou: O_O Oops. Sorry. But the whole thing was awesome! I recommend it. ^_~ Let’s see, the day yesterday did go pretty well too.
Yami: You were about to pass out at 2am!
Kibou: It was that late? Wow.... I don’t want to say yesterday was a full day... I worked on my latest wallpaper! And got it done.

Kibou: My dream was slightly different. It was day. But they were climbing the side of a mountain, and Anzu almost fell in. Crazy! =P
Yami: That was weird.

   PAR TAY!
Kibou: I have no idea how this weekend is going to go....
Yami: There’s no one home......
Kibou: Lisa’s on an over-weekend field trip with choir......IT’S PARTY TIME!!!!!!!
Yami: Who’s coming?
Kibou: you, me, and YGO DVDs!
Yami: Saw that coming a mile away.
Kibou: Right..... The week has been up & down. My group in Foods class didn’t have any food on Tuesday. We would have failed, but didn’t. It was the “Salad Lab” so we took leftovers of everything, whipped up a dressing & threw it all together. We called it the “Wing-it salad”. It rocked. ^^ On Thursday, we had PLAN testing. It went pretty well. I saw all my friends at the end, since we had time. Remember Chris? I got in a conversation with him & it was like old times when we liked each other. >< *twitch* I started punching him on the arm, like I used to. Even thought I really wanted to seriously kick his butt. Heh. ^^; I’ve talked too much. sorry!
Yami: If you didn’t, it would be creepy. ^_~
Kibou: Pffft. Ok then....... if you say so.....

Atem looked around. No one was moving. Bakura had vanished. He rushed over to Anika’s side. Why didn’t you tell me? Atem thought to her. He brushed the hair from in front of her face. He suddenly realized she wasn’t breathing.
“Anika.” Atem whispered loudly. “Are you ok?” he spoke aloud this time. Mana walked cautiously over to Atem and Anika on the ground. Atem gently lifted her head. “She’s not breathing. What she did must of drained all her energy.... and her life.... I can’t sense anything.” Everyone was staring at the lifeless Anika. “Did she actually go so far... to protect us all?” Atem said to Mana. Mana was still in shock. Atem slowly lifted Anika off the ground.
“What should we do, my prince?” Seto asked from behind him, breaking the silence. Atem turned half-way around.
“See what damage was done. Make sure everything is going to be all right. I’ll... I’ll be back.” He turned and continued walking into the palace. Outside, Mana spoke to Mahad.
“What just happened?” Mahad shook his head.
“Too much that has no explanation.” Mana looked back at the palace, wondering.

Atem looked down at Anika. Atem was wondering, he had so many questions for Anika.
“I shouldn’t have let you be alone...” he said quietly. “This is my entire fault...I hadn’t protected you like I should have.” He walked in silence down a long hallway. Atem felt something stirring, then something moan silently. He looked down, seeing Anika’s eyes trying to open. Anika’s eyes opened slightly, she could make out the shape of Atem.
“Atem.....?” She mumbled. His eyes were wide with shock.
“A-Anika.” He managed to say. “Are you all right?” Anika gave a slight nod, and then fell asleep.
A while past. Anika slept all through that night until the next late morning. Anika rose in her bed.
“I’m still alive?” she asked herself, patting the bed. “I guess so...” Even though most of her energy was replenished, she still wobbled out of bed. She walked to her door and looked around. No one was there. She slowly walked around. The castle seemed completely empty. “What happened after I passed out?” she wondered. She was still wondering around, when she spotted Atem looking out a window, spacing out. Anika gave a small gasp and ran to him.
“Atem!” she called. Atem got out of his trance just in time to catch Anika before she rammed into him.
“You’re awake!” Atem exclaimed. Anika gave an excited nod.
“I’m alive.” She spoke. They both just stood there for the longest time, not saying anything. Both were stunned. “How long has it been?” Anika asked. “About a day. I still can’t believe what you did.” Atem told her. Anika looked own a bit. “I know. And now, you know. I-I just didn’t want anyone to get hurt... again.” Came the explanation the last word almost silent. “I’m glad you’re alright Anika.” Atem sighed. He thought a moment, then took her hand. Anika blushed as Atem smiled. “Anika...” Atem said “...there’s something I want to show you.” She followed him as he led her away.
