My Latest Poem....
I wrote this poem on Monday. After I talked... well.... kind of flirted with Aaron (A guy I liked last year) I don’t really want to have any more crushes a least gor a long while. Tell me what you think!

Kibou’s Journal: September 11th

I saw you smile as I past you today.
A quick little “hi” was all I had to say.
I remember you from my past.
When I thought our love was to last.
A smile and a giggle passed my lips.
When suddenly you made my heart skip.
I can’t forget, I’ll always remember.
How you made my heart warm in cold December.

I saw you again today.
I made you laugh
That made my day.
A harmless flirt of a minute or two
I almost sputtered out, “I love you”
You were suddenly lost in the crowd
I was suddenly lost in the clouds

I have to remember the prices I have paid
For having feelings that went that way
I turn my head, away from you

   I just have to say this real quick....
Yesterday ROCKED1 (Except for all the homework!)
But Lisa and I went to the mall, and I got a real nice pair of earrings and 2 key chains. One that had Sasuke and Naruto on it, and one that says, “Boys don’t fall for me, I trip them.” Anyway, I saw Andrew twice at the mall. Then we all went to Toys R Us. Heh heh. My friend Michael worked there. That’s why I wanted to go! I saw him there, I got lucky because he said it was his first day, and I caught him on break! Yeah! So I bugged him for 15 minutes. ^^;; another guy from my high school was there too. I said hi to him. But then Mike’s break ended, and he had to go back to work. Lisa showed me some Yu-Gi-Oh video games, and I went crazy. When I left, I said another bye to Mike and the other guy (who was on cart duty) was following us out, saying he was haunting me. O_o It was a really great day.

Guess Who’s Coming To Town?
Yesterday was a lot of work. I escaped it a little though. First of all, Dad wanted to clean out the computer room. So he pulled out everything from the closet. (it’s a spare bed room) He kept asking me “do you want this? Do you want this?” I barley had any time to say anything. If I said, “yes.” My dad would complain and ask why. >< He drove me up the wall!
Yami: and it’s this room and the basement that’s completely cluttered.
Kibou: Why is my dad making all this extra room? ...... Shelly is moving in soon. T_T *cries* It’s really pissing me off. My room was clean, for a week, then my dad pulled some stuff in it. It’s pretty back to the way it was now. *phew* I was able to escape it like I said before. I went over to Lisa’s for an hour. It was funny because she showed me something on her computer, and then her mom gave me Lisa’s half-full Tootsie Roll bag. Lisa chased me around the whole house trying to get it back. We tugged on it for a while in the living room. I threatened to give her a rug burn on her back. (I wouldn’t I’m not that mean!) but she chased me outside and I kept out running her! It was too funny! We finally gave up and started eating them in the old playhouse from when she and her brother were younger. Muwahahaha. That was fun. ^_^ Wow I talk a lot.
Yami: Isn’t that all you had to say?
Kibou: Oh yeah..... I guess it its!

   One Week Done.......
I got a lot of homework Wednesday. Holy cow! And it just kept on coming!!! I was actually getting stressed. I don’t know why I’m getting stressed so often now. >< Makes me mad... *sigh*
Yami: You have nothing to worry about for 48 hours now.
Kibou: True... very true. But nothing really happened this week. Just get up, go to school, come home, maybe go over to Lisa’s, do homework, I dunno. Except for yesterday. I went to a baseball game. (Yay?) I got hyper, and had a lot of fun. ^^ After, Dad was driving, and we almost got in a big accident with an Expedition. (Those huge SUV looking-things) Scared me half to death.
Yami: Scaredm e all the way! Wow.
Kibou: Other then that....I have nothing to say.....
Yami: The best part of this week?
Kibou: I SAW NO ISAIAH! EVER!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!
Yami: YES.........!
Kibou: I thought I heard him call my name from behind me, And I thought, “Kibou run....” Why? Just... do it! Oh and I started working on another AMV. ^^ I don’t know if I’ll post that up here. We’ll have to see. =D

The meeting ended. Atem had a lot on his mind at the moment. Still he had to know one last thing. Why were people coming after Anika? Atem saw Anika out of the corner of his eye from a window. She was out in the courtyard. Soon Atem caught up with her.
“Meeting’s over.” He spoke when she saw him. Anika nodded.
“Getting things done and in order?” she asked.
“Getting there.” he said. He let out a long breath.
“Is something wrong?” she asked him. Atem just said,
“Can I ask you something?” Anika was a little confused at first, but followed him out of the sun and onto a bench by the palace wall. “I wanted to ask you... Do you know why Bakura and Khalidah were after you?” Anika looked even more confused.
“Why?” she asked after a moment.
“When Shada and Seto found you after your village was destroyed,” Atem began, “Shada said something about you having an extraordinary amount of power within you...But afterwards, they sensed nothing.” Anika grew a little tense. “They figured you may have been possessed or something of that matter and it had lifted.“ Anika thought for a while. “Do you have any idea what they are talking about?” Anika thought some more.
“Unfortunately no... I don’t. I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine.” Atem said. “But Isis said Bakura will be coming soon with his Tomb Raiders.... he could be coming after you as well.... and--” Atem looked towards Anika, who was shaking a little. He’s figured everything out. Anika thought. Here we are again... “Are you alright?” Atem asked.
“I’m sorry.” She spoke. “I’m putting everyone here in danger....” she was about to spill everything out to Atem, she had to tell every detail. Still, she couldn’t, the words didn’t come out the way she wanted and something inside pained her. “....And I don’t have a clue why!!” she yelled. She tried to hold back tears, but they came anyway. She felt an arm come around her shoulders. She stopped. “I’m sorry.” She spoke softly.
“It’s all right.” Atem responded. “We have time to plan against Bakura. You will be safe. And I am very sorry if I upset you.” Anika looked up a little.
“That’s ok. It’s not you, it’s just... me. I’ll be fine.” She sniffed once and Atem wiped off a tear off her face.
“Let’s get back inside.” Atem suggested. Anika nodded and walked with him inside.

In all honesty, I was a little iffy about this part. I hoped you all liked it ^^;;
Yami: I liked it!
Kibou: *dot dot dot.....* Anyway... Trivia from last week: The first seen duel in the fourth season was the Pharaoh and the guy who played the Orichalcos. What was his name?
Well, I was thinking no one would get this, since it was never mentioned in the English anime.... his name was Grerimo. Weird, huh?
Yami: Gr....er....i....mo Heh. different.
Kibou: don’t hurt yourself Yami! Ha! =P I’m being stupid now. The one person who got it...

First Day of School
Today was my first day of 10th grade. It was all right. Nothing spectacular.
Yami: It all started at 5:45 when Kibou was yelling at her alarm clock....
Kibou: Oh yeah... (alarm goes off) *walks over to clock; slams on the snooze* YOU WANT ME UP! I GET IT! I actually had enough time to take a shower and get out the door. Um... Lisa was there, but no Selica. (oh well) I got to school, and I saw Andrew there! Yay! We wnt to the lunch room, and saw a couple of Lisa’s friends. In History class, I was a little late. No biggie. First day. ND IT’S ON THE THRID FLOOR! But I made a “friend”. This guy saw drawings that my friend Steph did of Kakashi and Gaara. I told him about Gaara of the Sand, and now he’s calling me “Ssandy”. Weird. But back on the first floor there was Driver’s Ed. I found Selica. ^^ We’re in it together. (Yes!) Still on the first floor is Foods and Nutrition II. It’s awesome! I love cooking and stuff. ^^ Lunch time is after that, and that’s awesome. But all my friends are in fourth, second, or third lunch and I’m in fifth! >< Grrr... Oh well. Back on the third floor, and there’s Biology. A few people I know, but not friends. It’s better then nothing! After School ended, I went outside I looked for friends again. I saw Steph! FINALLY! I ran up behind her and huggled her somewhat. I gave her one of the cookies I bought. (I gave everyone a cookie! ^^) I have little homework today, and a bunch of permission slips and safety sheets for my dad to sign. Another great thing today: I saw no Isaiah!
Yami: YES!!!!
Kibou: Ha ha! I was really happy about that. My classes to be all okay. I can pass them pretty well. I just have to keep up and on top of all my work. (With four periods, it should be easy.)
That’s enough ranting for today. I don’t know if I’ll update again this week. We’ll see.
Yami: For sure on Saturday. Obviously....
Kibou: Yep I’ll get to sites in a bit... Oh and lookie! My icon! It moves! EdwardElricThe2nd made it for me. ^^

   A small tech. Difficulties Oh well.
(Thanks Kairi again for the news. heh heh)
All I watched was the Naruto Re-run last night. It was new to me, but It was AWESOME! Don’t ell me what happened last night, kay?

Ok the fair. WAS FUN! We met with Shelly there, but she was only there for 2 hours. She couldn’t stand it. I was there for over 10 hours. Ha! I still stuck to all my traditions. Corn, snow cone, games, rides, fries, uh... other food. I dunno. ^^ I ate a whole funnel cake. But 99% of the powdered sugar ended up ALL OVER ME! too funny. I went on my 2nd favorite ride first. The Starship 3000. You just stand against the wall and let gravity do the rest. They were playing Chevelle in the ride and me and about 5 other guys were singing along. I actually played air guitar. Well tried. Hard to when you have gravity pushing you to the wall. Heh. ^^;; I played some games too. I won a bunch of prizes. Little stuffed dudes. Including a chibi cow! I’m really good at the game where you toss a ball and try to get it in a colored cup. There’s a roller coaster there I love to go on. You go up, then whipped around. It feels like you’re going to fall off but you don’t. Crazyness! On the way back to the food area, I stopped and started doing DDR in the middle of the street. I heard a DDR song from a ride. It’s A Wonderful Night by Fatboy Slim. It was random, and later, before I got on the bumper cars, I started doing it again to another song. I’m so obsessed with that! Ha! ha! I got some fries. Those are the best fries. I don’t know anymore. Oh! I went on the go-karts and once again, I didn’t crash! I liked going super fast. I didn’t get to do any sand art. A little disappointing, but I didn’t really care. I heard a really good R&B/ soul band for free. Just heard of them that night. I went on the swings too. The ride. Not like a swing set. The big, huge giant thing that takes up up in the air. Feels like you’re flying. I love that feeling. And speaking of way up high, the ferris wheel was fun. As... fun as it can get, anyhow. I was always on the look out for anyone I knew. Any of my friends and any people I didn’t like. ((Muwahahaha)) I actually saw a elemantry sub teacher from my old school. Wow! it was interesting to see her again. I didn’t talk to anybody, I realized it too late. And I saw some girl I knew, but I didn’t like her. Grr... Last but not least... cookies. The best cookies ever. ^^
Yami: *eating them* I disagree. Yours are better.
Kibou: Thanks.....but....wait. When....Why are you eating those?
Yami: They’re good. ^_^
Kibou: Ugh...*Takes one* ha! You must heat these to get the best taste. I came home after almost falling asleep in the car. I just collapsed on the couch with a big stomach ache. That went away by morning. I just my stomach couldn’t handle all the food since I’m have my healthy little diet. Heehee. That was my from the fair. It was a lot of fun and I enjoy going every year. ^^ There was only one part I didn’t like but I don’t feel like talking about it now. Now I’m shutting up. And Yami, you better share those cookies1 ^_~

   My Last Saturday Before School!!!! No!
Well, Lisa did sleep over on Wednesday night. And we had a good time! We ordered pizza and got free brownie squares from Domino’s! ^^ Yum. And we weren’t too hyper. Yami liked that!
Yami: I did. You just talked... No screaming from a scary movie. ^_~
Kibou: Yeah. We talked a lot bout school... AND BOYS! Mainly, about how much we hate some guys. Grrr... and our first day of school worse case scenarios. *nod nod*
Yami: On the other hand, the fair was really awesome. Lots of rides and games! And food. And French fries.
Kibou: Always with the fries, huh Yami?
Yami *shrugs*
Kibou: I got really sick last night, but I’m alright now. I just collapsed on the couch. ^_^ But, that rant can come tomorrow. This post will be long enough with the story. ^^. And speaking of that, I sometimes feel like I’m getting ahead of my self with this. I hope during the next few parts you guys won’t get confused.. *pokes fingers together*
Yami: It’s going to be fine.
Kibou: Alright. For me, I love this part. Hope you like it too. ^^

Anika woke up the next morning feeling great. She got up and went outside and looked out a window. The sun was shining. She didn’t know why she felt so great. But she wanted to make it last. She started walking around, like she had been.
“Anika, hey!” she heard behind her. She turned around and saw Mana. “Are you feeling better?” Anika smiled and nodded.
“Yes. A lot better thank you.” They talked for a while and Mana left the way she came. Anika went to another window. Staring off into the distance.
“Glad to see you’re up and about.” Anika jumped a little. “Sorry if I scared you.” Atem chuckled.
“It’s ok. I was just.... spacing out.” Anika said. After a while, Anika continued, “Atem... I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I can’t even begin....”
“You don’t have to” Atem broke in. “I know. And you’re welcome.” He smiled. “But now, I have to go. There’s a meeting about to start.” Anika nodded. Atem turned...
“Wait.” Anika said.
“Yes?” Atem responded. Anika went up to him and gave him a hug. Atem was a little surprised, he hadn’t seen her like this before. Anika took a few steps back. She looked down and the ground, but back up again with an embarrassed little smile. Atem gave out a little laugh himself and turned to go to the meeting.

Atem sat down with everyone at the meeting. Seto began.
“We all know now that Khalidah was the unknown foe. We know who she is, some of what she looks like, but no location.” Atem stood.
“I have her hideaway.” Everyone looked at him. “It’s far across the desert. That’s where Anika was, I’m guessing if she moved, she couldn’t have gone too far.” Everyone started talking. Now Isis stood.
“But we do have bigger problems.” She said and everyone quieted down. “I had a vision late last night. Bakura is planning a rampage upon the palace.” Shada quickly asked Atem.
“Have you asked Anika about why Bakura and Khalidah were after her?“ Atem shook his head.
”She just got up. I will ask her right after this meeting.” A few nodded and Isis continued.
”If we are not prepared by the time Bakura gets here, it will be our greatest fight yet.”
“How much time do we have, Isis?” Atem asked. Isis concluded,
“Less then seven days.”

   Preparing to Go Back
Kibou: At this time next week, I’ll be... IN SCHOOL! *sob* at least I’ll get to see all my friends again. But still *sobs some more* But anyway, apart from that, There’s nothing going n. Getting the finishing touches in my room so it’s nice and clean, and I still want to go shopping for school clothes. AND I need to get all my binders and what not ready. And Lisa is sleeping over for he last time of the summer today, and Dad and I are going to the state fair on FRIDAY!
Yami: Can I come along to the fair?
Kibou: *sarcastically* No... I'm going to the fair for hours of fun while you sit home and do nothing. YEAH YOU'RE COMING!
Yami: Yes....! But anyway, that sounds like a lot of nothing! ^_~
Kibou: Ok. It’s just a habit I have of saying that. But so far, nothing has happened this week... Monday was boring. I had a dream with one of my ex-crushes and it drove me INSANE!!! I had to listen to the songs that remind me of him a kagillion times to get it out of my system. >< Perish evil thoughts, perish.
Yami: O_o Ok.... then.
Kibou: ^^;; Sorry about that. Tuesday I worked on my room and stuff. I dunno. AMVs... yadda yadda yadda. Rode to Target with Lisa.....
Yami: Speaking of AMVs, Thanks to anyone who watched Kibou’s “InuxKag” AMV! It got 100 views within the week! Kibou reached her goal afterwards.....
Kibou: *tears* Thank you everyone! ^^ It was rated #20 this week in the music category too! Yayness! More awesomeness.... I GOT 16 COMMENTS LAST TIME! Holy crap that’s a lot. That’s the record now. ^^ *huggles everyone* This week just gets better and better! =D And I’m hyper now. I’m listening to one of my new fave songs. Boys of Summer by DJ Sammy.    Sunday... *yawn*
Kibou: I am still really tired.
Yami: Well, yeah. Long day yesterday. I half-carried you into the house last night. Almost had to carry ya!
Kibou: I must sleep walk or something.
Yami: That’s something you don’t see everyday.
Kibou: Yeah. But I am SO SO SO SO SO SO SO sorry for not getting to sites yesterday. I got home really late from the BBQ last night. And I had no energy left whatsoever. I couldn’t sleep in the car much. Shelly kept talking to me. Um... HELLO?! Trying to sleep here! But anyway. I’m really worried about something. My AMV? The one above? *points to top of the page* could everyone watch it PLEASE if you can? I’m trying to make it to 100. And I want to get close as I can get! I’m no where near it! *sob*
Yami: It’ll get there soon.
Kibou: I know. But on to the Anime night ranting. Oh yeah. I didn’t watch it. >< But I did watch some cool stuff like Iceman and the last 15 min of Emily Rose. ^^ And I did watch some of Yu-Gi-Oh! Here’s a question: WHY DID THEY GO BACK TO THE FIRST SEASON?! Grr.. Oh well. I just hope they get back up to the 5th season. I have an episode I have to tape yet! A good one too! *heehee*

11 days?!?!?!??!!
Kibou: Glad it’s Saturday again. Not glad that’s school’s staring for me in 11 days!!! I go back on the 5th of September. I know a lot of people start earlier then that, but I get out later so... it all evens out. Thursday night Lisa came over and slept over. Oh and I got my hair cut. ^^ Just a trim. And on Friday, I continued to clean my room. Witch is now an organized mess. =P
Yami: And we noticed that the popularity is back. Kibou was excited about that...
Kibou: Yeah. *huglezz everyone* A want to say THANK YOU! I HAVE MADE IT PAST THE 1000 MARK! *dances around the room happily and throws a party* Good bye 4-digit numbers, welcome hundreds! I was so happy when I saw that I’m there. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!!! ^____^ *settles down* Ok... I think I’m good. (but it’s back down again.... >< Darn!) Sad side: My cousin Emily was sent to the hospital Tuesday. Just found out yesterday. Why she’s there? Her mom and bro Mike were fighting, she got upset because of it, Mike got mad at her, and then she went to her room and took too many pills. Leftovers from a medication she’s taken. She’s pulling thru though. ^^
Yami: 1 last thing: thanks for all the wallpaper downloads and sent e-cards from Thursday. That was cool... ^^.
Kibou: Now, on to the story! *does a little dance*

Anika opened her eyes slightly and saw almost complete darkness. She bolted up from the bed with a gasp. She looked around. She was in her room, in her bed, and out of harm’s way.
“How did I get back here?” she whispered. She saw someone pass by her door from under the curtain. “Atem?” she called. The feet stopped, and walked to the door. The curtain was pushed back a bit. And there stood Atem.
“You’re awake, good.” he said as he walked over to her.
“What’s going on?” she asked. Atem sighed.
“You were kidnapped.... no one could find you in the palace so I went out looking for you. I found you and brought you back here, out of... who ever took you... out of their hands.” Anika drew in a long breath.
“Khalidah...” she whispered.
“What did you say?”
“Khalidah...” Anika repeated. “That was her name. I remember now.” Atem nodded. He could tell Anika was a little drowsy.
“I’ll be right back.” Atem told her. Anika looked up and gave a nod. Atem left the room.
Anika sighed after a while ‘Well, running away is completely out of the question.’ Anika thought. ‘It almost got me killed. And I would of, if Atem didn’t come...save me... And then he--’ she remembered what had happened that night. ‘Did he actually... kiss me? I thought I had dreamt that. I guess... I guess not....’ She blushed slightly.

Atem walked down the hall and got a clay bowl from the kitchen. He filled it with water from a jug and started to carry it back. On his way, he saw Seto walking past.
“Seto.” He called to him. Seto turned his attention.
“Yes?” he replied
“Our mystery villain has a name. It’s Khalidah. Anika just told me. Tell everyone else.”
“Right away.” Seto assured him and bowed. Atem turned to go back to Anika’s room.

“Are you still up, Anika?” Atem asked. Anika looked up and nodded. “I brought you some water.” He continued.
“Thanks.” Anika spoke and started to drink.
“How is your strength?” he questioned. Anika stopped for a minute.
“Alright, I guess” she claimed. Atem nodded.
“Ok. That’s good. I don’t know what really went on when you weren’t here. I just want to make sure you’re safe and well.” Anika smiled a bit.
“Thanks....” she said again. She handed the bowl back to Atem when she was done.
“I’ll leave you alone so you can get some more rest. Let me know if you need anything more.” Anika murmured.
“Ok.” Atem got up and left. Anika wanted to say “This is the most that anyone has ever cared for me that I can remember.” But she figured she’d keep all of her past to herself.
