   I’M BAAAAAAAAACK! ^^
Waking up at 6am defiantly has its advantages! (got a ride from my aunt and uncle, who were coming back too.) I'm hungry... BUT ANYWAY! It’s great to be back in my own house! And I’m glad to be back at the Otaku. ^_^ *hugs everyone* I had a lot of ups and downs (mainly downs) at my Grandma’s trailer. But, I’ve done it a million times before, so I know how to survive. ^_~ and since I said they were mainly downs, that does mean there were some good points. But that I’m saving for later. I’m going to sum up the little diary I wrote in while I was there. Today, like I promised, the next part of my story, since I wasn’t here last Saturday.

Anika was thinking of where she could run off to. She might look for survivors from when the Tomb Raiders attacked her village.
“The Tomb Raiders!” Anika said to herself. “I should tell Atem and-- no. I can’t. He’d want to know how I knew, and it’ll be that much harder to leave.” She went into her room and lied on the bed, thinking. It seemed forever, but night finally fell. Anika sighed. She heard someone coming. She quickly went under the covers. She opened an eye, and looked towards the door. She saw feet passing by the dim light. They stopped right in front of the door. She only had a split second to think before she heard Atem sleepily say,
“Good night, Anika.” She let out a mumble and Atem went away. Anika knew what to do. She grabbed her bag, just like before. She quietly went down the halls and down into the courtyard. No guards were there, they were still out all over Egypt. She waited and looked up at all the windows. The moon wasn’t as full, so it made it a lot darker. She walked out she noticed the front gate was shut. This made it a little harder. But she knew another way out. A secret passage way. In the back, and in a dark corner of the wall, there was a hole dug in the ground that was covered over by some plants. Anika went back in the dark shadows. Something suddenly grabbed her around and covered her mouth. Not again... Anika thought. She got as much energy and strength as she could, wriggled around, and broke free.
“I told you, Bakura, I’m not going anywhere.” She hissed. “Leave me alone!”
“Bakura?” a voice asked. Well, it was safe to say it wasn’t Bakura. The voice was feminine.
“Who are you?” Anika asked quietly, peering in the darkness. Someone stepped forward.
“I am Khalidah.” That’s defiantly not Bakura. Anika thought.
“What do you want?” She questioned. “Wait... how did you get in here? Are you with Bakura or something?”
“it’s always questions with you, isn’t it?” She walked over to Anika, but Anika stepped back.
“Don’t come any closer.” She warned, a little shaky.
“Is that a threat?” Khalidah asked, mockingly. Anika was getting frustrated. Her eyes narrowed. All Khalidah did was chuckle. and pulled out a little jar, but even Anika couldn’t see it, not in that darkness. Anika was a little confused, she saw a bit of sparkle in the air coming towards her. She smelled something. It was something sweet. Even so, it made her cough. Before Anika could move to get away, she collapsed. Khalidah put the jar away and picked up Anika by her arms and half carried her to the palace wall, and went completely through to the other side.

Kibou: It’s Friday, meaning, I’m not going to be here for.... 5...4...5...
Yami: Until Tuesday.
Kibou: thank you. Yes, because my dad is going camping with Shelly, like I’ve said before, I have to go up north with a few people in my mom’s family.
Yami: But you’re prepared.
Kibou: *nods* I have 4 fan fictions I’m bringing, plus manga, plus some stuff to doodle with, and a mixed Inuyasha soundtrack..... yeah... I have a lot.
Yami: you’re bringin’ all of Japan with you!
Kibou: nope. Just my room.... which you could probably call “Mini Japan”.... I added something to it this week. ^_~
Yami: The Capsule Monsters Movie.
Kibou: Yeah... YamiLover03 said it was out, so I went out and bought it ASAP. I watch it well... kind of...
Yami: you fell asleep half way through it.
Kibou: Yeah. I was tired!
Yami: and the stuff that you’ve been saying since Tuesday?
Kibou: Oh right. I have some new e-cards and wallpapers! Yay! That was the surprise... I guess.

   Hey everybody!
Kibou: Well, I just want to say, thanks to everybody who sent my Malik e-cards from Monday. They were all sent at least one time! Yay! Some of them, stupid I know. I was hyper, and had a Malik phase. Maybe not the greatest combination.
Yami: I could think of worse.... heh heh.
Kibou: I know.... And thanks for all the comments on my last posts! Wow1 I got 11, 10 and 11. @_@ OMG. Thank yous all! *hugs* And a few asked if Yami was ok on Monday. He was fine.
Yami: yep. Kibou was being... well.... Kibou. ^_^
Kibou: Yeah. Sorry about that. I’ll say there’s nothing to say, but there are some funny things that have been going on. First off a dream I had last night. .... I was Kagome, and Yami was Inuyasha.
Yami: Huh? I was Inuyasha?
Kibou: Yeah... and you had to catch me when I was jumping out of a plane.
Yami: Weird...... no more celery before bed. Did I catch you?
Kibou: Yep. Sure did.
Yami: Ok good. =P
Kibou: It was hilarious! Apart from a weird dream, here’s something interesting. My old next-door neighbors moved a few years ago in November of 2001 when they were going to move in Jan 2002. Left without a trace. Creepy. Ran into them at Target on Sunday. O_o Then I might meet up with my friend Megan who’s in state right now visiting family from Colorado. Geez! Too much for one week!
Yami: then Lisa will be coming back on Friday.
Kibou: Which reminds me. *sniff* I won’t be here for a few days! Friday-Tuesday I’m up at the trailer, because my dad’s going on a camping trip with Shelly and her family. (La-De-Da!) So I’m posting my story Tuesday. Just letting you guys be in on the know. On Friday, before I leave, I’ll show you guys something! ^_~ Here’s a hint:
Yami: It’s awesome.
Kibou: I was going to say cool, but that’s fine too. ^^ Maybe a wallpaper. Or two....
Yami: You’ll just have to see.

   Heh... Overslept......
Yami: A little later then usual, but we’re here!
Kibou: Yep. I was up until one drawing.... then we started talking about stuff. ^^ But anyway...Nothing really happened yesterday. There was a severe thunderstorm watch where I live. Nothing happened.
Yami: just a big huge cloud passed over, poured a little bit of rain, and went on it’s way.
Kibou: BORING! But I did get some cool pictures of the clouds....
Yami: She finally came back inside. ^_~ and we watched Toonami and all that.
Kibou: Missed the first Naruto... but it’s ok. I can see if I can watch it on Youtube. But what we did watch was cool. (Poor Sasuke! With the curse mark.... aww....) After that we came up and got to a few people on Myo, then watched InuYasha. Hojo was funny. ^^
Yami: We have seen the episode after that one, but no the one last night.
Kibou: *nod* What I thought was funny was at the end, after the credits, hojo said something like, “I can’t believe Kagome and I alone will travel to the... um...place... O_o. Wait... we’re alone?” Funny.
Yami: Then came back up here, got to everyone’s sites, then Kibou started to draw....
Kibou: For like, 2 hours! ^^ And I’m not even close to being done! But I’m not telling what it is yet. I guess that was my rant... it was supposed to go below but oh well!

There will be funny Yu-Gi-Oh ones most likely during this week. Watch out for that! ^^ Yesterday, I asked if you had a weird anime dream. Me, I have a lot to choose from, since I write what I remember down and then laugh about it. This one.... OMG.... it’s now one of the biggest insides jokes between Lisa, Selica and I.
Yami: uh-oh.... *starts backing up slowly*
Kibou: Ok.....but anyway.... It was at my school. There was some tournament going on, either bowling or racing. I had a 2 dollar bill (except it wasn’t US currency.) My friend Steph wanted to get a pack of gum before the tournament started, since she was n it. Gum cost one dollar. I needed 2 ones. Seto Kaiba was running this thing, so when he walked by I asked, “Seto, can you change this for two ones?” He just gave me this look, like why he would do that. I suddenly got an addittude and said, “Oh wait, you’re Seto Kaiba. You don’t do anything unless it benefits you.” I went on for a while. Now, in my school, the entrance has two sets of glass doors. I was there, along with Seto and Steph. (It was a lot smaller.... really cramped.) so Steph was apologizing for me, and I’m still mumbling and stuff. The I turn around just in time for... (OMG.....) Kaiba’s pants fell down. O_o I immediately covered my eyes and said, “Whoa! Didn’t need to see that!” I went out the door. It goes on, but it’s really long. Has to do with Duel Academy though.
And in all honesty I have no idea why that was in my dream. Lisa still picks on me for it. It was just too funny......
Yami: *comes in the room* is it over?
Kibou: Yes.
Yami: ok. Is that it then?
Kibou: *nods* That’s it. with this at the end. I just might make my goal with the AMV! Not the one here, but the one at the top. I almost have 100 views! ^^ YAY!

   Saturday Again
Kibou: It’s another Saturday. Wow. Nothing happened really. I got a call from a old friend of mine from elementary school. (Kayla) I haven’t talked too much over 4 years, maybe a couple times. I went over to her house for a couple of hours yesterday. Wow. She was really different! She said the same about me. But we went over to her friend Rachel’s house. WE all were talking about anime, so that was cool. We went back over to Kayla’s and played DDR....
Yami: I’m sure you loved that.
Kibou: It wasn’t too good... pads weren’t the best, but we played some guitar game and soul Caliber 3. It was fun. Then Shelly came over with her dog Bingo. Here’s the bad news. Dad and Shelly are going to get married. There’s no date, no proposal, but it’s in the future. That day, my life is going right down the tubes. >< *sigh* but... enough with the negatives....
Yami: anything going on this week?
Kibou: Nope... Lisa’s coming back in a week from today. She’ll be happy to see her hamster again. ^^ And other then that, I’ve got nothing to say until after the story. So, uhh.... here it is.

Part Twenty One

The next day came, and Atem sent his some of his men out to go look for Bakura. He started thinking, I don’t know why Bakura’s coming after Anika all the time. Maybe it had to do with Isis’ visions... Or maybe there’s a connection between Anika and Bakura. I wonder if-- He stopped and saw Anika walk by through an opening. “I just wonder.....” he said to himself quietly. Atem walked around the palace a little bit, just like Anika did. He found her walking around in the courtyard. “Hey,” Atem called out to her. Anika looked up.
“Hey,” she echoed.
“Last night was kind of strange, wasn’t it?” Atem brought up right at the moment. Anika nodded slightly.
“Yeah.” Atem thought what he should say next.
“Sorry I wasn’t around too much yesterday. I was really busy.” Anika understood.
“I figured as much. You have a great nation to rule over. ” Atem smiled, but then said, “I hate to do this, but I’m probably going to be busy again today.” Good, Anika thought. She said calmly,
“It’s alright. It’s what you have to do. I’ll be fine... You don’t have to worry about me.” Atem let out a small sigh.
“Ok. I just hope this whole mess gets over soon. ” Anika nodded, and Atem left to go back inside the palace. Anika started to walk along the palace walls. There had to be some secret way to get out. She came back around and noticed the palace gate was slightly open. She looked around to see anybody. No one was there, so she easily slipped though the gate and out into the desert. She was far from the palace, then she heard someone talking behind some rocks and tall plants. She didn’t know who it was.
“Where is Bakura?” a man asked.
“He disappeared yesterday morning.” Answered another voice. “The day is coming soon. The plan to attack the palace, it’s just around the corner.” Anika tensed up. She listened for a bit more.
“I heard they had less of an army, ever since our little visit to that village a few days back. That was fun....” They all started laughing about it, and then it started fading away. Anika peeked around everything, and saw they were leaving. She silently went back to the palace. The door was still open slightly. She slowly went back inside.
“What to do now?” she said quietly. “I guess, even with the less army....” she stopped for a minute. “That’s why Mahad is having a spell over the palace? Because of the attack of my village, and they lost men?” Anika sighed. “I must be a constant reminder of that day. And I wasn’t even conscious when most of it happened. Most defiantly,” she began and started walking inside. “Tonight will be escape number two.”

Alright I don’t have any trivia this week. How disappointing, huh? Instead, I just wasn’t to ask an open-ended question. I might answer it myself later.

What was the weird dream you had that had to do with Yu-Gi-Oh! (or any other anime)

Yami: *nods and tries hard not to laugh* you...should tell... them about the... one where....
Kibou: Never! I couldn’t. It would be awkward. Too awkward. (Sorry about that.) Never! But maybe I could tell them about the one where..... *smirk*
Yami: uh-oh.... I’m not liking that look......
Kibou: ^_^ heehee. Well, anyway, here's some good news: I got I made 100 comments on other people's work!
Yami: Yay! Congrats!
Kibou: (^^) aside from that, I’ll be back to get to sites today. Yay Anime Night! ^^ (Please watch the AMV above if you haven't! sorry one I think it's cool and two I'm trying to reach a goal... ) heh heh. Never mind. =P

   It’s Thursday? Already?
Kibou: Wow. This week went by fast.
Yami: Yeah it did. And it's not over yet.
Kibou: Lisa called me from Yellowstone yesterday. Just to say “hi” and to see how her hamster was. I told her she was doing fine.... ^^ WE couldn’t talk too long, though. She used her aunt’s cell phone and she didn’t have too many minute left.
Yami: Didn’t she say she was going to get you something?
Kibou: Yep. A postcard. ^^ I like collecting postcards from everywhere. XD And since they’re cheap.... they’re perfect.
Yami: what else is new....?
Kibou: Nothing. I had that really weird dream last night. O_o I was tossing and turning. Then Yami here woke me up. I can’t even remember any of it.
Yami: It was weird.
Kibou: Getting away from the weird stuff, I want to thank those who watched my Yu-Gi-Oh! AMV. *points to the top* I want to get to 100 views in one week. Seems reasonable, right? The other goal I have, since it’s on the subject, I’m trying to get 100 downloads by the end of this month on my latest Yu-Gi-Oh wallpaper. ^^ Then I’ll submit something new. And that’s about it.
Yami: what’s the plan for today?
Kibou: GOING TO THE BEACH!
Yami: ^_^
Kibou: but we’re not going to go on the beach or in the water. (It’s really polluted.... it’s nasty! ><) So, laying up on the hill above the beach reading will do just well.
Yami: Yep.
Kibou: The last thing here: SetoLover09 is posting a really funny comic about Seto’s Life. She didn’t make it, but it’s still really funny. Check it out if/when you have the time! ^^ (I believe there’s more in her archives. Page 1)

   Hiya everybody! I’m back!
Well, I was back on Sunday.... but that’s not the point.... I couldn’t update yesterday.... my dad was hogging it a lot yesterday.... anyway.... hamster’s still alive!
Yami: Yep.
Kibou: that was made clear yesterday too. She bit me! I wanted to pick her up, so I just put my hand in her cage, and she came out of her house and bit my finger. >< But it’s ok now. Then she scared me half to death last night! I wanted to check on her, since she won’t let me even pet her, I went upstairs at 1 am (Watching Pleasantville. Good movie...) But I came in, turn on the light, and lifted the cloth over the entire cage (so she could sleep) She was awake, but she wasn’t moving.
Yami: Like she was traumatized....
Kibou: I did pet her that time. But she didn’t move. Her nose was twitching just a little bit. Then she looked at me, and went in her house at a normal pace. It really worried me. *sigh*
Yami: But she’s still alive and well. Nothing’s going to happen to her, you’re a good pet-sitter. And she trusts you again. ^^
Kibou: *sighs and shrugs*
Yami: ......And so ends a stressful weekend. Right?
Kibou: Oh yeah. For a while. What was funny about this week. I was at my grandma’s house, but we had to go grocery shopping, which was fine. They were having a Father’s day BBQ, and fruit salad was on the menu. She put a watermelon in the cart. (Immediate thought: Chris Harvey - codename = Watermelon) I had an evil moment and said. “Can I stab the watermelon?” My grandma looked at me like I was nuts and said “No” and she put a cantaloupe in the cart. Sudden thought- Aaron “codename” Cantaloupe. “Well how about the cantaloupe?” Still a no. but hey, try cutting up a piece of frit when it reminds you of what could have been!
Yami: Settle down... you’re going to go crazy....
Kibou: sorry. Had to get it out of me. *sweat drop*
Yami: It’s ok.
Kibou: the only thing I’m mad about is the post yesterday. There wasn’t one. I did post something, but it didn’t show. *cries* but I do hope everyone had a great Father’s Day! My dad and I went out to eat for dinner and got some ice cream. (yum) I made an e-card, posted it kind of late. Oops. But other then that.... There’s nothing else to say really.... Yami, can you think of anything?
Yami: nope....
Kibou: Well, I just to post these AMVs. The first one is mine. It’s an old one, but I added some stuff to it. ^^ The second one is one that my friend Steph made. It’s SO AWESOME!

   Ohayou Minna!
It’s just Yami here today... and a hamster. Kibou not here today, she’s at her aunt’s house. It’s no fun here without her! But the post must go on. In case any of you were wondering, things did become less stressful. Kibou got her calls later on Thursday and got some plans organized. And yesterday we got Lisa’s hamster. It’s a hyper one.... ^^;;
Well, with nothing left to go on about, we’ll just get on with the story.

Part Twenty

Anika spun around to the sound from behind her. She looked to only find a harmless snake slithering around in one area. It was running into a pillar, making a noise. She sighed and put her bag the shadow of the palace, and walked out into the some-what open area, so not to be suspicious. There were no guard out. Atem had everyone one of his men out among Egypt. One of Mahad’s spells was keeping the palace safe. Nothing could get in, but some things could get out. And that’s exactly what Anika was going to do. Walking around casually, she heard something else a voice.
“Going to look at the fish again, Anika?” Atem called from a window. Anika turned and said with a laugh,
“No...... Just walking around, getting some air. Not looking at any fish.” She tried to make the conversation short. She started walking around in a wide circle, still just “getting some air”. “I’ll be back in soon.” Anika lied, which she hated doing. “No need to worry about me.” Atem nodded and said,
“Alright then....” After a while he left the window. Anika waited, Then went over a picked up her bag, only to be caught off guard and wind up with her arm around her back, and a hand clasped onto her mouth before she could say anything.
“You did the hard part of my plan. I’ll have to thank you later.” Bakura’s voice said. Anika struggled to get free, but Bakura only held her tighter. Anika did the only thing she could do at that time. She stomped really hard on Bakura’s foot. Bakura lost his grip on Anika, she turned and faced him,
“How did you get in here?!” Bakura answered,
“I’ve been here a long time.....” Anika yelled,
“Stop coming after me and get lost!” Atem was back at the window now.
“Anika?” he called. He looked down to see her stumble backwards from the shadows underneath the palace’s first floor. “Anika!” he yelled, and ran away from the window.
“Why must you make everything so difficult?” Bakura explained. “You’re making more trouble out of this then there needs to be.” He started walking forward towards her. Anika was ready to fight. She had no plan, but somehow she was going to be on top. At least, she hoped. She remembered the dream she had. She wasn’t staying at the palace, and there was no way she was going to go anywhere with Bakura. When he was close enough, Anika swing her fist at Bakura. Bakura caught it before it came near him.
“It was worth a shot...” Anika muttered, and stopped trying. Bakura just led her back within the shadow of the palace. Anika grabbed her sack with her open hand, and quickly swung that. She figured she hit him where he hit his head before. He let out a low moan in pain. Anika felt his hand slip off her arm. She stood there, breathing a little harder then usual. Atem walked up to her just then.
“Anika,” he said. “Are you ok?” Anika turned her attention towards him.
“I’m fine.” He looked around.
“Where’s Bakura?” Anika looked where Bakura was supposed to be. He was no where to be found.
“I don’t know....” was Anika’s response. After a pause, Atem said softly.
“Let’s go back inside. It’s not safe for you out here.” And led Anika back inside.

   A Little Stressed Maybe?
Kibou: I’m going to have a really busy weekend. Actually two of them.
Yami: You’ll be running all over
Kibou: Thank god they’re not in a row.... Here’s the thing. Lisa’s going to give me her hamster to pet-sit for 2 weeks while she’s in Yellowstone. I’ll get her tomorrow. But here’s the thing: My dad’s going to be leaving tomorrow too. He’s going with my uncle to watch him in a marathon and to drive him home. I’ll have to go to my grandma’s house, and my aunt’s house over the weekend, plus trips to home to make sure everything’s ok.
Yami: It’ll be ok. I’ll watch the hamster while you’re away.
Kibou: I still want to come back... But then the next weekend should be somewhat mellow. Then the next is where it gets hectic again. Lisa will be coming back, but I don’t know when. My dad’s going camping with Shelly the weekend before the 4th of July with her family, meaning, more jumping around for me, since I can’t be home with no parental figure over night.
Yami: Kibou...
Kibou: I called Lisa twice yesterday, and her dad answered. I asked him to tell Lisa to call me when she was done hanging out with her friend Kim, since she promised, but her dad never tells her, and I hate calling more then twice, and I called my grandma twice yesterday, to see what her plans are, and to see if I could actually go over to my aunt Kim’s and I’m getting stressed because it’s like I have to make everyone happy and... and...and....
Yami: *put hands on her shoulders* You need. To calm... down... everything’ll be fine.
Kibou: I’m only 15.....
Yami: you just need to take things one at a time. And breathe regularly...... One of these day’s you’re going to give me a heart attack....
Kibou: (heehee) ok.
Yami: It’s only 8 AM... we’ll call people at noon.
