Yu-Gi-Oh! Ep. 244 (Final) Summery
This Final episode starts off with Yugi in a dilemma. He needs to save the Pharaoh. But in order for him to do that, he needs to destroy the Dark Magician. Atem’s LP are at 1400. Yugi has 800. Yugi has Curse of Dragon on the field in attack mode. Also, Summoned Skull. He switches them both into DEF mode, along with a face-down defense card. It’s Atem’s turn, & he figures that Yugi played Marshmallon, and uses 1,000 knives to destroy it. He was right, it was Marshmellon. He attacks with the Dark Magician to Yugi’s Curse of Dragon. Yugi now summons Block Man in DEF. (DEF = 1500) and ends his turn with a face-down card. Atem equips Dark Spear to the Dark Magician. If the ATK is higher then the DEF of Yugi’s DEF monster, the remainder is subtracted from Yugi’s LP. Yugi activates a trap, Soul Shield. He gives up ½ of his LP so Atem’s monster’s attack is negated and his turn comes to an end. So it’s Yugi’s turn once again. He plays Gold Sarcophagus. He picks a card from his deck and places it in the box. If Atem plays the same card that’s in the box, the card is negated. Also, it’s been two turns since Block Man has been on the field. That has an effect. It disassembles, and reassembles its self into two monsters. Yugi sacrifices them both to play Gandora, the Dragon of Destruction. Atem was a bit surprised. Yugi once again pays ½ of his LP and activates Gandora’s ability He destroys every monster on the field. That would be true, if Atem didn’t activate Dark Illusion. It protected the Dark Magician. Gandora is now gone, since it’s only on the field for one turn. But Yugi can draw a card thanks to Dark Illusion. With no monsters on the field, Atem had Dark Magician attack Yugi’s Life points directly. The tides turn once again and Yugi activates Magic Circle. Since Atem attacked with a spell caster, Yugi can summon a spell caster as well. He chooses his Silent Swordsman. But Atem can also play a spell caster. He chooses his Dark Magician Girl. Atem attacks with Dark Magician, but is stopped by Yugi’s Spell Textbook. Yugi discards his hand, in order to get one card. If it’s a magic card, he can play it instantly. He has no hand, so Yugi draws one card. It is a magic card. Card of Sanctity. Now the Silent Swordsman’s Special effect kicks in. For the number of cards Atem just drew, he gets 500 points. Atem just picked up 5, so now the swords man, (ATK = 1000) is now up to 3500. The Magician still needs to attack. The Dark Magician has 2800 points, and Yugi’s Swordsman has 3500. As soon as Atem attacks, he’s done for, since he only has 700 LP. But Atem saves himself for another time by adding his 2 magicians together, for one attack with 3000 points. He still looses 500 points. Now Yugi and Atem are tied at 200 LP. Atem says Yugi fought greatly, but the duel will end in his victory. He activates Monster Reborn, and brings back Slifer the Sky Dragon with 4000 ATK points. Yugi’s Gold Sarcophagus starts glowing. “Pharaoh, if I were you, I would have played an Egyptian God Card too.” Yugi thought. The card that Yugi put in the box was none other then Monster Reborn. Slifer disappears, since the effect of Monster Reborn was negated. Atem has no monsters on the field. Yugi can now attack Atem directly. But Yugi is hesitant. He didn’t want to attack, but he still did. It was for the best. Yugi attacks with his Silent Swordsman, and Atem’s Life Points reach zero. Yugi falls to his knees and starts to cry. Atem tells him to get up, “A champion doesn’t belong on his knees.” Yugi says that he was so wrapped up in the duel he forgot that by winning, he’d send the Pharaoh away. Atem corrects him, and says that Yugi had opened the door for him, plus they stopped the return of the Shadow Games. Yugi says he’ll miss the Pharaoh, but Atem says that they would never truly be apart. The kindness that Yugi gave him, and the courage Atem gave Yugi, will always with them. Ishizu explains that Atem must now tell the eye of Udjat his name. Atem says, “I am the son of King Akhenamkhanen. My name is...Atem!” The door opens. A bright while light comes out of it. Atem stars walking towards it. But Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan stop him. No one wants to see him go. Téa says it’s not fair that he has to go, because they were all just starting to know him. In fact, he was just starting to know himself. Yugi says it’s for the best, but it’s hard to see his best friend go. Atem starts going through the door. Joey says, “I hate to break the bad news to ya, Pharaoh, but you’re not going anywhere.” Atem stops. “Everything you gave to us will always be in our hearts.” Atem gives everyone a thumbs up as he walks through the door and into the light. He sees everybody... Mana, Mahad, Seto, his father, all the priests, everybody from Egypt. He changes into his Egyptian self and the door closes behind him.

After, the whole place starts to shake. Everything starts crumbling and everyone runs out. After everyone’s safe, Ishizu says that since everything is over, the Millennium Items have been permanently sealed away. Yugi and the gang are surprised that’s now all over.

   First Official Day of Summer Break!
Kibou: It feels good to sleep in a few extra hours and not get up to go to school.
Yami: That’s always a plus.
Kibou: And now I have some good news and some. Well, not so good news, and some weird news.
Ok first good news: I want to say thank you for all the comments on my summer e-card. ^^ I got 6. More then I had ever gotten before! It was featured too. I didn’t know. O_o so a thank you for that too!

The not-so-good news: I’m sure my dad and Shelly are going to.... *gulp*.... get married. Yeah yeah. Whoo wedding! But it’s not cool. I know shelly doesn’t like the way I am. I’m not going to change myself just for her. The subject is coming up more and more. >< I hate it.
Yami: We found only one beneficial thing to this.
Kibou: Yeah..... after high school, we’d move to the city. I maybe able to go to the University because it’s closer and I could afford it since shelly had a better salary then my dad. But focusing on other problems. She’d always be telling me how to do stuff. And I couldn’t sleep downstairs in the basement. Ugh. Pardon this, but geex, she can be a b*tch! Erg!
Yami: Hopefully nothing will happen soon.
Kibou: Hopefully my life wouldn’t be ruined after anything happens. If anything happens.....
Yami: you’ll get through all this.
Kibou: *sigh* I know. Ok. Here’s the weird news. Ya know in my story Anika had the same dream twice. One was Atem was fighting Diabound, then she woke up and saw him in his bed, the next time, he wasn’t. I could say I had a dream like that. And it was following my story. This happened last night too. It was weird! So I woke up, and started thinking the Mission Impossible theme, and I thought, “Ok... where is Bakura? And when is he going to pop out of nowhere........ hm...... “ a little strange.
Yami: Just... a little.
Kibou: a few more things. I want to say sorry for not getting to sites yesterday. My dad told me to get off after, literally, 15 minutes. I’ll try to get to some from yesterday, and get to everyone today hopefully.
And to Mai711 and setosgrl19. I will post episode summaries for you about the last episode. If anyone wants a summery of the last few episodes, I’d be happy to do it. ^^

The End!
Well, another Sunday has arrived. I feel like I still need to rush to get some homework done. Heh heh. anyway everything’s YGO related. ^_~ Here’s a Kleenex.

Ok onto the rant.....
(after 10 minutes)

WHY DID IT HAVE TO END!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last episode was so sad. I thought I wasn’t going to cry, because I was in so much shock. But I did. *sigh* I cried for a while..... it was sad, and the last episode. And sad.
Yami: you said sad twice.
Kibou: *pouts* I don’t care. I think if I talk about it too much I‘ll start getting teary again.... but who cares! I hated seeing everyone crying. Especially Yugi. ....I’m trying to be positive here but it’s not working! Geez.
Yami: are you going to cut it short.....
Kibou: Never! I have to get some of this off my chest!
Yami: then go for it.
Kibou: This whole final duel was the best one I had ever seen. The most intense, and so many comebacks! It was..... was...
Yami: Incredible?
Kibou: Yeah. That...... insanely incredible. I’m surprised I could keep up, I wasn’t watching it half the time. I was ducking under the covers.*mini sweat drop* When it was almost on, I kept thinking that it was the last episode. Sometimes I wouldn’t believe it. I guess I wasn’t planning on it ending when I got into it. I still loved every minute, though...
There’s a lot more I want to say........ but I don’t know what to say. O_o This episode has rendered me speechless. All I gotta say is that I’ll miss everybody! It was a great thing to look forward to on Saturday mornings. And..... I’m still speechless. I’d better shut up before I say something stupid. *sighs again* And that’s it. I guess. Kind of a lame rant and all. But can ya blame me?

   NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!
Kibou: I’m finally off of school for the summer!
Yami: YAY!
Kibou: Thursday and Friday were half days. Everyone got out after 2nd hour. I got a ride home from Lisa’s dad both times. Lisa and I had fun the past couple of days. I had 2 finals as well. I hope I did well on them.
Yami: Good news, Yu-Gi-Oh’s on today.
Kibou: Bad news. It’s the last one. *cries* I’m ok..... I don’t care if my dad hears me or not. As long as he doesn’t bring it up at any time. I don’t care!
Yami: I’m sure you’re not alone with that.
Kibou: No. No I’m not. Before I get to my story, I have to say something that happened on Wednesday. It’s kinda funny. Remember that guy Chris I really, really, REALLY don’t like? Because he used me? I brought him up when I was watching a duel. (No one likes him, I found out) One guy said he knew where he moved too. I demanded to know. I found that he didn’t move to far. (muwahahaha) Another guy said he was going to beat him up. I said that I was going to do it. The guy argued back that he was. I thought, “Did he use you and break your heart? No! I don’t think so!” I went up to Lisa and told her. She told me I couldn’t plot any revenge, it was unhealthy for me. @_@ the sugar was kicking in. It was still funny though. ANYWAY! New subject...... *sweatdrop....*
Yami: How about the story....
Kibou: works for me!
I find it funny.... I’m getting WAY too far ahead with this. I need to slow down. Heh heh.

Part 19

Atem walked Anika back to her bedroom. They both sat down on the bed. “Are you going to be ok, Anika?” Anika nodded slightly. “Is there something wrong? Something you want to talk about?” Anika clenched her fist opposite of Atem, so he wouldn’t see, and said calmly.
“No, I’m fine.... Thanks for asking.” Atem wanted to know about the nightmare, just like before. So Anika told him. Everything except the part about her saying she didn’t belong there... She didn’t want anyone stopping her, or trying to change her mind. They talked for a few more minutes. Mainly Atem did the talking, with Anika nodding and making little sounds come out of her. Atem left the room, leaving Anika to sleep.

Anika had a dreamless sleep the rest of the night. She woke up late the next day. She figured she wouldn’t walk around too much today. She made her bed, and looked around the room.
“This is it. I know what I’m doing. Tonight I’m leaving.” Anika sighed. “But Atem and Mana? And everyone else here? I’ll--” She shook her head violently. “No. No. Leaving. That’s it.”

The day was busy for Atem, and Mana didn’t seem to have that much free time. Anika was glad about that, for the first time, too. She only saw Mana once walking in the hall but she hid before Mana had a chance to see her. Night fell. Anika was planning on the trip. She had some food in a sack. She hid it in a dark corner of the room. Then she went into the bed and pretended to be asleep. She heard Atem walk towards the door and say her name. He peeked in and saw Anika under the covers. “See you tomorrow.” He whispered. See you never again, Anika sadly thought. After a while, Anika got up and looked around the hallway. She didn’t see anybody. She picked up her sack and quietly left the room. She stayed in the shadows of the dimly lit place. She made it outside to the courtyard. She continued hiding amongst the shadows. There was a crescent moon out, which made things easier for her. She looked up. She saw the massive palace above her. She sighed,
“I still don’t belong here. I’m going out to see if there are anymore survivors from my village while I’m at it. I’m sorry. I just feel like this is the right thing to do.”
Anika was about to walk forward when she suddenly heard a something coming from behind her.

This week it’s going to be.... *spins a dial in her mind* Season.... 1 in the manga. It’s going to be tougher, it has to do with Duelist Kingdom. I saw this a while ago. The first duel Yugi dueled in the anime, he bet his deck. What did he bet in the manga?
Could everyone, even if you don’t really know about YGO, to just give it a shot? The sky’s the limit. I’m just a little curious.....

Submission Updates: I went to see how my Yu-Gi Oh wallpaper was doing. It wasn’t there Someone probably hacked in my account or something. I don’t know. I’m re-submitting it.

   A Quick Update
A few things went on today. Today was the last day for my self portrait, the final day for my Photo project, plus a bunch of homework. X_x And it was the last day I could see my friend Michael. (Whaa!) He’s a senior, and today he and all the other grads rehearsed for the Graduation Ceremony. Andrew and I were looking for him, because we wanted him to sign out yearbooks. Me especially. A brief history: At daycare, I was in 1st grade. He was in 5th grade. Since I was alone, and was playing by myself, he decided to be my friend. He wasn’t the most popular or best looking kid there. So hey, why not? He taught me how to play the card game War. And ever since then, I beat him at it. . (Muwahaha) He left the day care, and I didn’t see him for 9 years. I just recently caught up with him the last month of school. It was fun, today. I was worried that I’d missed him. But at lunch, I saw him and he said he made his ride home, one of his friends, wait an hour for me. ^^ I thought that was cool of him. Andrew popped in just in time too. And I got a picture. (Yay!) Ok. Enough rating about that. I got my Photo project burned on a DVD. Hopefully sometime I could load that onto my computer and show you guys. ^____^

It’s the song I heard on the radio in Photo class one (headphones) and I almost yelled out “YAMI AND ANZU!” When I finally recognized it. Heh heh. anyway. Onto a rant.

Yami:.....
Kibou” ^_~ anyway. That duel was so INTENSE!!!!!!!!! I thought it was the last episode, I’m sure glad it’s not! That was another episode where I didn’t breathe much. ^_~
And so..... Atem knew Yugi would defeat the God Cards? Huh? What? I love how Yugi took them down though. Very cool.
Yami: The part where Bakura and Grandpa were skipping around..... that was the weird part. I wasn’t expecting that.
Kibou: No...no...me either. But the interesting part. Kaiba admitting he was wrong ..... with his own free will! . O____o
Yami: He has defiantly changed.
Kibou: No joke. What I’m wondering about, is when Atem (^^) played the Dark Magician, and Ishizu had some kind of vision or memory or something. Yea, it probably has to do with her being a priestess in her past life, but I thought it was that reason, plus the time when Isis was warning Mahad that one time........ the part when he and Bakura dueled...... Hmmm......
Yami: Hmmm....... It was a real good duel. Like you said before, everyone loves a good comeback.
Kibou: And that one was COMPLETELY FULL OF THEM! As soon as you think either Yugi or Atem had the upper hand, the other one totally came up on top. Just Like how Yugi took out the Three God Cards in one turn. Amazing. I can’t wait for the next episode!
Yami: ...And it’s the last one.....
Kibou: Err..... Like I said. I can wait.
Yami: *chuckles*
(Stove in the kitchen beeps)
Yami: What was that?
Kibou: *nervous laugh* What?
Yami: The stove beeped... Are you baking something for some certain reason?
Kibou: Um.... no.... But I’ll just stop it from beeping. Um... I’ll be right back. .... *runs downstairs*
Yami: I smell chocolate cake...... ^_~
Kibou *from down stairs* NO YOU DON’T!

   One last week...
I can’t wait for summer vacation. The seniors are already off. (Lucky!) They got off Thursday. I have a friend who’s a senior, too. His name is Michel. Long story short, I met him when I was in Kindergarten, didn’t see him for 10 years or so, then I see him within the last month of school. He taught me how to play War. Beat him every time since then. ^_~ . He’s a really nice guy. I’ll miss him (sniff) Well.... I see him on Tuesday.... so... uh...nevermind. Nothing really happened this week. Things are winding down at school. I wore my skirt to school on Thursday. Ha! that was hilarious. Didn’t really enjoy it though. (Blame Lisa and Sel!) anyway, my self-portrait is coming along nicely. I’m nearly done with it. ^^ and that’s it.

Flip side of that. It’s.... Gosh..... I can’t even say it! I don’t want to! I can’t! So I won’t. I’ll just say oh never mind.........
Yami: We have a surplus of tissues. We're stocking up.
Kibou: We have for a while.
Yami: They’ll be all gone at noon.
Kibou: I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS SO CLOSE TO THE END! *takes a deep breath* I’ll be fine. *another deep breath....* Now onto more....positive things.
Yami: One week of school left.
Kibou: Yes. And that’s about all I can think of right now. Nothing too special to talk about. So I’ll just do what do every week. Post new part of the story and yadda yadda yadda. ^_~

Anika was shuddering under the covers. She somehow managed to fall asleep. The nightmare came back to her, the one she had before. But there was a twist to it.

Anika woke to a dark room, just like before. She walked half way to the door when Bakura pulled back the curtain. Anika stepped back a little.
“What do you want, Bakura?!” She demanded.
“No need to get over excited” Bakura said smugly. Anika could see Atem fighting Diabound once again. She started to run towards him, but Bakura stopped her.
“You’re still coming with me, and that’s all you’re going to do. You don’t belong here.” He started dragging Anika away. She struggled and wriggled and finally broke free. Bakura turned to grab her again, but she was too far away. She turned to face Bakura, a large space separated them.
“I don’t belong here, and I’m not going with you!” She shouted out. She turned and was going to began to run. But she heard Atem calling,
“Anika! Help!” Anika gasped and started running towards the room. Bakura ran in front of her and Anika stumbled back, falling to the floor.

Anika jumped from her bed with a gasp. She could almost feel the pain from when she hit the floor in her dream. And even though it was a dream, and she knew he’d be alright, she went to Atem’s room anyway. She walked slowly to the doorway and peeked in like she did the first time. She waited to hear him breathe. She didn’t hear anything. She peered in the darkness towards Atem’s bed. He was gone. Anika had panic grip her for a minute. She started walking down the hall. It turned into a run. She didn’t know why she was so worried, she was planning on leaving. It’s what had been going on the past few days that made her head spin. She continued running down halls and up corridors. She didn’t see where she was going. She suddenly ran into something. The something caught her before she fell back. Anika opened her eyes at looked up at Atem. Her eyes lit up and she put her arms around him.
“Atem! You’re ok! I know, I thought and I--” She stopped, realizing what she was doing. She let go of Atem and took a step back, looking at the ground, embarrassed.
“You’re happy to see me.” Atem chuckled. Anika looked for the right words to say.
“Heh.... Well I.... I mean....I had a....” She stopped and sighed. Atem knew she had another nightmare. He could tell.
“We should talk about it. It’s happened more then twice. I...I just want to know.” Anika thought as she looked slightly away from him. You can’t know everything....
