   1 Semester Down....
Yami: The quarter, the semester, and all the classes in it are done. With the end of another term, came an interesting, busy, and sometimes stressful week.
Kibou: *nods* Yes, this past week had its rough spots. I got my Genocide project done for Thurs, but I had to study for 5 tests, 3 were on Friday, and 2 were from the same class. X_x One of the tests was my Final in my Culinary class. I got the highest score of 94%! ^^ I was happy about that! Since I got an A both terms, I get a certificate so the class counts as college credits. *dances* yay! Too bad it’s over, though.
Yami: No more going to the college this year.
Kibou: I’m going to miss messing around with my friends on the bus going to the collage. Maybe I’ll see them in the hall.... but in case not, I did get some pictures. XD But the worst part is my Brent moved away! *sobs* Is was his last day, so I got him a cookie from the bakery and I gave him a big ol’ hug. ^___^ (As the world comes to an end... ^^;) He was friendly, very nice and funny. I’m going to miss him!
Yami: you had some good times with him and everyone else. At least you got some pictures.
Kibou: thank you, camera. *slouches in chair. * anyway, this week has made me tired and lazy......
Yami: Well, you worked hard, and you get this nice 3-day break as well to do whatever. You deserve it!
Kibou: I like the sound of that. =)

   I Dream Of Anime....
Kibou: I missed all the anime last night, I still haven’t got caught up
Yami: Obviously because of the limited time on-line and working on the GS project.
Kibou: and some doodling. ^_~ But I had a dream last night about my fanfic! XDDDDD Don’t really remember what happened, but I’m counting thatas my anime. Heehee. I also had a dream that I was on Iron chef America, “Battle Asparagus” *rofl* It was so funny. But yeah... I didn’t do a lot yesterday. I wasn’t feeling to good anyway.

   3 Days Off After An Interesting Week
Kibou: Saturday! Yes! It’s finally here! *goes back under the covers*
Yami: It’s 9, Kibou, time to get up.
Kibou: *whispers* But it’s cold outside.
Yami: Alright, I’ll talk about the week, then. Wednesday Kibou had registration for the ’08-’09 school year, like she said on Thursday. She’s taking some good classes. Including the second course of her Culinary class. No surprise there. ^_~
Kibou: but now, I feel as if I’m falling behind in a current class of mine, Comp.Video Arts. X_x So much left to do..... but on a positive note, I made a cake in my Culinary class. ^^ It’s a wedding-kind-of cake... sort of. That’s the category I put it in. =P I took pictures! XD

Gah... >< It’s so crappy and out of focus.... Yarg. ><

As Salih walked down the halls towards Anika’s room, he caught a glance of Atem in the meeting room. He had his elbows on the table, hands folded at chin-height, his head resting upon them. Salih slowly walked in.
“How is she?” he asked. Atem looked up and sighed.
“Anika will be fine.” Atem assured him. “I checked on her this morning. But it’s what she said last night that worries me.” Salih stiffened.
“What did she say?” he questioned, a bit worried now himself. Atem gave Salih a serious look as he spoke.
“She told me that it was... Bakura. He had taken control over her.” Salih looked at him in bewilderment.
“What?!” he exclaimed. “I thought we didn’t have to worry about him anymore. Anika told me.” Atem shook his head.
“Believe me,” he began. “I’m as shocked as anyone. I defeated Bakura with my own two hands. I saw him disappear right before me.”
“Than how could he have returned?” Salih asked, almost demanding. Atem sighed again.
“I’m trying to figure that out myself.” He told him. Salih stood still for a moment, his hands clenched into fists at his sides. “Shouldn’t he be doing something more than just sitting here?” Salih thought to himself. Neither of them spoke. Shada appeared in the doorway and was a bit hesitant to enter. He walked forward and approached Atem.
“Prince Atem,” he spoke, breaking the tension between Salih and Atem. Atem shifted his attention to Shada. “I have the arrangements made.” He stated, handing the pile of papers to Atem.
“Oh, thank you Shada.” Atem nodded as he took the papers and began leafing through them. “Anika could be in danger, and now it seems like he’s ignoring the entire situation.” Salih thought to himself again. Atem peered at Salih, who was watching him from the corner of his eye. As other priests began to fill in, Atem set the papers down and turned to Salih. “You’re welcome to stay for the meeting, Salih.” He offered. Salih looked at the half-seated table, then back to Atem. He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them as he sighed with a small grunt.
“Thanks but I’ll pass.” He said bitterly. He turned around and left without another word. “There’s one more thing that Atem doesn’t know about Anika.” Salih said to himself as he continued his walk to Anika’s room. “He may know about magic and spirits, and he may think he knows everything about Anika...” his paced quickened slightly. “... but he doesn’t know half of who she is.” Salih now stood at Anika’s doorway. He pushed back the curtain and walked in. Half way to the bed he let out a quick gasp. Anika was gone.

Kibou: Damn, where’d she go this time? And... what is Salih’s problem?
Yami: You’re the person who’s writing it, you should know. =P
Kibou: .... ^^; anyway... onto trivia time.

(It was when he challenged Yami-kun to a duel in that canyon, and he chopped the bridge off! O_o Crazy man.) No one got it this time around. So onto the next one! Same season

Kibou: Well, that’s a nice start to the next 72 hours where I’m going to be HIBERNATING! It’s so cold here. XD Right now, at 9:30 am, it’s 13 below zero, and it feels like -25. heehee. And this is just a little below norm for here! XD XD XD don't worry, I've been through this 16 times before. heehee

   Registration & Gift Ideas
Kibou: Well, like the subject says, it was class registration for the ’08-’09 school year.
Yami: your last and final, senior year.
Kibou: Yay! I’m excited! Even though, I still have ½ of this year left! XD I signed up for some fun classes next year. (Well, I think they’re fun. ^_~) I have the usual English, Social Studies, math... those classes. Lots of “continued” classes. Like, Spanish 2, Culinary 2, Aerobics 2, Drawing 2, etc. *nods* Lotsa fun stuff. I thought about taking an internship course, and I was accepted to do that, but after really reading between the lines, it wasn’t something that was good for me. It was more about how you have to connect your education to a job, and I already know how to do that. And I wanted more electives. I believe I made the right decision. ... Next order of business: YamiLover03’s birthday is coming up, and I decided to draw her something. It’s going to be a picture of Atem, and Yami’s going model for me.
Yami: I’m going to what?!
Kibou: I was thinking of a good pose or something. Any suggestions? I can’t think of anything really good! -_-‘ Help is much appreciated! ^^ (but don't tell her I'm drawing something, kay? ^^ It's going to be a surprise! =D)
Yami: ..... Do I have to actually model?
Kibou: You can eat my cake from the cake competition this week.
Yami: .......Must resist.......
Kibou: XDDDD! (I love it.) Anyway, I hope to get to many, many sites today. I do have a project to do (on a “great positive” subject: genocide! DX), so that may cut into my free internet time. ><

So Far Behind...
Kibou: Yesterday was all right. It went by so fast! And I woke up at 9. Huh. Anyway, I didn’t really watch any anime yesterday. I’m really behind in that. I haven’t seen much in so long. (Hence: the subject line) T_T I’d watch episodes on YouTube if I didn’t have these damn time limits.
Yami: Maybe we can make up a plan. We gained an extra half hour this past week on weekdays.
Kibou: Yay. *sarcasm!* FYI, I can only be on the computer for 2 ½ hours between 3 and 9, and for 4 hours on weekends from 9-9. It better than nothing, I suppose. My plan is to not complain about it, so I’ll get more time, like I did Monday. *prays*
Yami: There are a lot of things on the computer that you want to do. Visiting sites, making wallpapers, AMVs, etc.
Kibou: *still praying* Oh yes. Right. Well, since at 9, there’s no computer, I turn to my notebook, where I’ve been writing my fanfic. XD Like I said in my last post, the crazy things my mind comes up with! Heehee. But I’ve rambled on enough. I’ll shut up now.

   First Week Back
Kibou: I like being on break better. *sigh*
Yami: Well, one more full week of school, then there’s 2 4-day weeks. That’s good.
Kibou: Is summer here yet? *looks out the window to see snow* Darn. Anyway, this week was alright. Registration for the 08-09 school year was Wednesday. I’m still unsure for some classes. I’m obviously taking the 2 course of my Culinary class next year. ^^
Yami: Yay! More food. =P
Kibou: I have until next Wednesday to figure it all out. ... Ok, interesting, awkward part of the week. ... *deep breath* My friend Brent was seriously flirting with me on the way to and from the collage on Thursday. Poking and tickling, messing around. -_- I like the attention, but I don’t like him that way. Yarg.
Yami: Are you going to rant about it?
Kibou: No one needs to know about all that horribleness in my past, Yami. ^_~ speaking of “love” I got 3 hugs from random people yesterday. XD It was funny.
Yami: Yay random hugs! *hugs*

“Anika!” Salih gasped as she suddenly collapsed on the floor. He ran to her side. “Anika...”he spoke softly. “What happened?” He turned her over and laid her on her back. Atem, who was finally getting to bed, saw Salih with Anika in the hallway. “Anika...” he thought as he quickened his pace towards them before kneeling on the floor just as Salih was.
“What happened?” Atem asked worriedly.
“I’m not sure.” Salih replied. “I saw her walking, then the suddenly collapsed.”
“Collapsed?” Atem asked, shocked. “From what?”
“I’m not sure.” Salih repeated. He looked out a nearby window at the full moon in the dark sky. “Did her power get the best of her?” he asked himself.
“She doesn’t appear to be hurt.” Atem spoke, breaking into Salih’s thoughts.
“No.” Salih answered quickly. After a moment of silence, Atem spoke again.
“I’ll take Anika back to her room.” He said, positioning himself to lift Anika off the ground.
“I can take her.” Salih offered. “I’m sure you had a tiring day.” Atem, now with Anika in his arms, smiled at the gesture.
“Thanks, but it’s no trouble. I have a handle on things here.” Salih nodded. He took another look at Anika and put his hand lightly on her head before turning around to return to his room.
As Atem carried Anika down the hall, he noticed that she was fidgeting slightly. As he entered Anika’s room, she began to attempt to push Atem away.
“Lemme go...” she mumbled. “Bakura... Let me go Bakura... Let me go.” Atem set Anika down on the bed with a shocked look on his face.
“Anika...” he said in a harsh whisper, nudging her shoulder.
“Get away from me!” Anika moaned in her sleep.
“Anika!” Atem said, a little louder as he shook her shoulders a bit. “No!” Anika cried out as her eyes shot open as her upper body thrust forward. She looked around the room, breathing hard and shaking. When her eyes met Atem’s, she threw herself around his neck, sobbing. “It’s going to be all right.” Atem whispered in her ear as he gently rubbed her back. “You’re safe. No one’s going to hurt you.”
“It was him.” Anika whispered harshly. “It was Bakura. He took control again.” she told through her sobs.
“What?” Atem spoke. Anika didn’t respond. Atem held onto Anika little tighter until she calmed down. He laid her on the bed and watched her until she fall asleep. He stroked her cheek before leaving the room for the night.

   Yep, I’m still here!
Sorry I was a bit MIA last weekend. I missed you all! *hugs* I just wasn’t feeling very well, not like myself on Friday, and it carried throughout the weekend. That first week fo January was my last week of Winter break, and I’m sure I’m not along there! Nothing really happened. There was New year’s, then on Friday, Kana-chan and I went to the mall. ^^ I had a $30 gift card TO the mall, so you do the math. Kana-chan and I went to the Chocolate shop, the Japanese store um... random places...
I know I’ve ranted about this a lot with my dad and money, so when I found something that I liked, clothes-wise, my grandma bought it for me. (yayness) Kana-chan found this shirt that read, “Life is better single”, and said it was perfect for me. (That’s me 100%!) There was only one medium, and I liked the way that it fit, but I think Kana-chan wanted one too... I have it, but since that, I kind of felt bad about it. >< and I was getting a weird vibe from Kana-chan. V_V I felt really depressed. And I mean really depressed. *shudders* I don’t was to sink that deep down ever again! O_o
Other than that, the weekend was fine. Then this week started, but that’s another story for another post. ^^

I’m sorry if I don’ get to all the sites today! I have a time-limit on the computer, 2 ½ hours. Better than it was, hopefully it will go away completely. *prays*

   MERRY NEW YEAR!
Alright! It’s now 2008! :dance: I hope everyone had fun with their way of ringing in the New Year! ^_^
My friend Kana-chan came over last night, just like she has for the past 2 years to celebrate. We watched Futurama, the Next Food Network Star, and other various shows and anime...(DUH) then at midnight, we watched the ball drop. =D We got REALLY hyper, and we ran outside to see some fireworks. But we went back inside soon after, it was cold outside! Heehee. We stayed up until 4 AM which is late for me, eating, talking, playing DDR... the usual. But wow, I probably acted like I was drunk I was so tired! XD and somehow, I got up at 9:30. 5.5 hours of sleep. I’ll crash soon or later sometime today.... I’m actually the only one awake!
Then there are resolutions! Kana-chan was spinning around, yelling, “Resolutions! Resolutions!” so we made ours, while... spinning, but then we fell down all dizzy-like. (Gawd, we sound like we really WERE drunk! ^^;) But we made our resolutions! Mine are: 1.) Learn how to play the guitar, 2.) Continue eating healthy, 3.) Get better at drawing. (because geez, so I suck. ^^; )
All this crazyness ended in some nice, green tea and some pocky. .... weird combo, I know.

   Switching Anime with Science
Kibou: *cries* I’m sorry I didn’t get to everyone’s sites yesterday! Stupid time limits... ! >< *takes a deep breath* Alright, I’m good. I’ll try to get to everyone’s sites today, but I can’t promise anything. But anyway, yesterday was good. I went to the Science Museum! =D *really dorky* I love going there! *extremely dorky* I spent the whole day there, so there was no anime for me.
Yami: There wasn’t much to watch, except for Naruto. There’s the Futurama Marathon going on, which is still good.
Kibou: This is true. I went to see the Pompeii exibit the the museum, along with a movie about the Ring of Fire. *pumps fists* Yay! ^^; I went to the normal exbits too. *nods* I loved the weather one, and the light exibit. (that one was new) And I had to go to the little Egyptian one. XP Yami, I think I saw your cousin. XD
Yami: Seto?
Kibou: NO! I’m kidding. There was a mummy in there. O_o It was still cool. I love how anime got me into exploring their culture. The same with Egypt.
Yami: It’s good to go and explore different stuff like that.

   Busy to boring.
Kibou: Alright! This past week we had Christmas!
Yami: and Christmas Eve!
Kibou: and lots of running around! I hope that everyone had a good Christmas, or any other holiday that you may have celebrated over the week. ^__^ Christmas Eve was good. this year with my mom’s family, we drew names for gifts. So one persent from a cousin, and from the grandparents Christmas was ok...
Yami: for the most part.
Kibou: My cousin Whitney was there. She is a which. >< Not going into detail with that, but she was doing some crap, and my dad yelled at her, then she left. (Yush!) She was actually hurting poor Bingo. >< Grr.... Then there's Kana-chan’s pressies! Like last post, she gave me a beautiful scrapbook of me, her, & our friends (late b-day gift.) and thanks to her, I am now the proud owner of a Yami plushie! *fan girl scream* Yayness! Had to take a pic. ^^; she gave me the shirt too. ‘Tis most awesome. (opens in new window)

Anika’s thoughts were interrupted suddenly as she heard an evil laugh.
“Who’s there?!” She yelled out as she spun around, looking for someone. When she saw that no one was near here, a chill ran down her spine. “My mind must be playing tricks on me.” She murmured softly. She looked to the rising sun, and shielded her eyes from its rays. “Maybe I’m staying out I the sun too much.” She took another quick look around before heading back inside.
The day passed slowly. Anika and Mana had their usual meeting to work on sewing their dresses. Anika didn’t see a lot of Atem during the day, as he was busy with the upcoming ceremony. So, Anika spent most of the day with Salih. She mentioned the evil laugh she heard earlier that morning. Salih looked at her curiously as she spoke.
“Well,” Salih began. “No evil force is going to get to you, they have to get through me first.” Salih smiled. “But hearing the laugh, it just must have been your mind playing tricks. I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about.” Anika nodded.
“Yeah, you’re probably right.”
The sun was beginning to set. Anika peered out a window, out to the sky. She looked up and saw a full moon. The sight made her shudder slightly. “I’m... going to bed.” She told Salih. “I’m getting tired, and I have a slight headache...” Salih looked out at the moon as well.
“Right.” he answered. “Good night then.” Anika smiled weakly, nodded her head once, and disappeared behind the curtain.
It was now the dead of the night, Anika was stirring in bed.
“Now is the time.” a voice inside her head told her. “Anika, wake up, Anika.” Anika moaned a little as she sleepily got up. She suddenly felt another force take control of her body as her eyes turned a dark green color. “I’ve been waiting for a weak spot to show up.” Bakura’s voice was now clear in her head. “I’m glad I didn’t extract all my energy from you when I took over the first time.” Under Bakura’ control, Anika walked out into the hallway, and looked both ways, no one in sight. “Excellent.” He said, walking down the hall. With the occasional look aver the shoulder, Bakura led Anika down to the priest’s rooms. Just after she turned the corner, Mahad left his room for a moment, leaving the Millennium Ring behind. Anika smirked and walked into the room, illuminated by the full moo, searching for the sacred item. It humbly lay on a table right next to the bed. “All too easy” Bakura whispered. He commanded Anika to hold the Ring, parallel to her face. She breathed in deeply, and slowly let it out. With that, the bit of Bakura’s energy slipped out of Anika’s body and into the Millennium Ring. Anika regained control of her half-asleep body, and her eyes turned back to their normal color. She stumbled out of the room. Salih had awoken from a strange dream and now was slowly walking further down the hall, towards Anika’s room. He looked up and gasped.
“Anika!” he called out just as she suddenly fell and collapsed on the floor.

Thanks for those who voted last week! ^^ It helped out a lot! And YLover, Anika and Atem kiss twice. Once when Atem first saved her, and once on Anika’s birthday. Yeah, it doesn’t happen very often! ^^
