   Last-Minute Sleepover!
Kibou: Hola minna! (Got a Spanish-Japanese theme going on here! XD) Last night was pretty fun. Kana-chan slept over! It was pretty last minute.
Yami: She called, you two talked, and it became a sleepover afterwards.
Kibou: Here’s how it really started: Wednesday, while I ran the school bakery, the rest of the class watched “Super Size Me” and did a worksheet with it. So I had to make that up. I rented the movie, and Kana-chan was wondering about it, so she came over to watch it. ^^ It was quite interesting! It really shows what’s really going on with food that people - mainly America - eats. *nodnod*

Kibou: Well, the quote it’s a bit off. There was no apple pie or popcorn. Just green tea for me and licorice for her! XD We did get to see Naruto, Blood+, Ghost in the Shell, and FMA! It was awesome! ^^
Anyway, I got a question for you guys. I recently found my book reports. (Yeah so?) But you had to make a cover for this report, you had to represent the theme or a scene from the book for the cover. And I draw mine. They’re kind of crappy, though.^^; So the question: Should I post my book report covers?

Well, I have another 4-day week ahead of me, I hope it’s not stressful like it was last week.... this week is the finals. >< I really hope I do well. I feel like I’m falling behind. T_T wish me luck!

   OMG... it’s the WEEKEND!
Kibou: I’m REALLY glad it’s the weekend. This week was kind of hard!
Yami: Only four days, but still, hard.
Kibou: Tuesday I was busy making cookies for Halloween! ^^ I had a load of homework that day, so I had to multi-task! XP
Yami: And now half the cookies are gone! Did you get mobbed again when you showed up with the cookies?
Kibou: Not really... ^_^; (I usually get attacked when I bring my cookies to school. XD!) Speaking of cooking, the college bakery opened Wednesday! I got to run it the 1st day! *dances* It was SO fun! But after school... I had to do Current Events (again!) that night. I was up until 1 am or so...got up at 6 *groan* But I made it through the day. But FRIDAY! I swear.... the bakery and kitchen is haunted at the college. I saw that ghost guy again in the bakery, and I heard the walk-in freezer door close when I was standing by it. >_> <_< Creepy.....
Yami: Are you sure it wasn’t because you were tired?
Kibou.... POSITIVE.......

“Wow! It tastes so good!” Mana exclaimed as she took another bite of fresh, hot bread. Anika smiled lightly.
“Thanks, but it’s really nothing special.” She mentioned shyly. Anika had just made a small batch of seasoned bread for Mana to try. “It’s just something I would make on my birthday, or Khalil’s.” Mana just rolled her eyes and laughed. She took another small bite.
“Best I’ve had, and I’m not just saying that. It’s nice and soft. You have talent, there!” The two talked for a bit before leaving the kitchen. A minute later, they ran into Atem.
“Just who I was looking for.” Atem stated. “Mana, can I talk with Anika alone for a bit?”
“Mm-hmm.....” Mana nodded her head as she walked away, enjoying her mouthful of bread. Atem, a bit confused with the situation.
“Okay then...” he said, shaking his head before continuing.
“Anika, I was wondering if or when you wanted to practice more with your power. There shouldn’t be too much time between practices, since you are really getting the hang of It...” Anika’s eyes lit up.
“Right! Well....” she sighed. “I want to, but I don’t know when or how...”
“Something the matter?” Atem asked.
“I haven’t told Salih about that yet, and I’m not sure if I want to.” Anika confessed. “It seems that every time I tell him something, he clings to me a bit more. I don’t want him to know about this training I’m doing, he may get upset....”
“So you want Salih to be busy or away during this? So he won’t be aware if it?” Atem asked. Anika nodded shortly after.
“Yes. This is something very personal to me. But I can’t just tell Salih to go away, he’d want to know why, and I don’t want to have to lie.” Atem thought a moment. “Well, we’ll think of something.” He assured her. Both stood in the middle of the open room, thinking, but only for a little while.
“Hey, Anika!”
“Prince Atem.” Both voices were heard at the same time. A guard called for Atem as Salih called for Anika. Anika and Atem looked up.
“I guess we’re both wanted.” Atem pointed out. Anika nodded as they said a good-bye and went their separate ways. “Just coming back from getting some things from my room.” Salih spoke. “So... what were you and the Prince talking about?”
“Oh, nothing.” Anika shrugged. “Just saying “hi”. Salih’s head bobbed as a nod. Anika, Salih and Khalil all met in Anika’s room, but Salih asked Anika to follow him to the roof. “Anika...” Salih said, turning around to meet her eyes. “I have to ask you something.”

   And we’re back online!
Well this weekend was a little off, ne? I hope that the weekend problem with theO’s servers and whatnot doesn’t happen again! If there were a few benefits to this, I would be that I got some more stuff done, and ready to submit! ^^ Also, since I couldn’t post Saturday, I couldn’t post my story. (Everyone: *sarcasm* Oh yes.... what a pity.....) But I was a bit ... unsatisfied, for lack of a better term, with that one section. I guess my writer’s block did come back! ^^; It’s all good, though. I’ll think of something!
So how was your guys’ weekend? Mine’s been alright. Plus I’m on a 3-day weekend right now *dances* It’s some teacher-deal going on in the district. But I need to spend a lot of today working on a project, it maybe hard, and very stufusing (my made-up word! (stupid and confusing) heehee) But it’s got to be done, I’m not going to fall behind! And the sooner it’s done the better.
So will I get to sites? Hard to say right now. I just wanted to pop in and say “HI!” ^^

   What’s Been Going on This Week
Hey minna! *huggles everyone* How have you all been? I sound like I haven’t been on in a year, don’t I? XDDD eh, 3 days, one year, what’s the difference? Heehee. ^_~ j/k anyway. This week has been going all right so far. Monday was my sister’s b-day, and I did make a cake the day before. I ended up making yellow cake (With a little bit of cinnamon for flavor) and chocolate frosting. ^^ It’s yummy. Also on Monday, I made pasta salad in Culinary class. The class also watched our food safety videos. XDDD That was too funny! I got to see my group’s vid on falling, and I looked so funny when I “tripped”. I wonder if I could get it on YouTube. Heehee. ALSO on Monday (Got that day eventful, ne?) There were the dance try-outs. Wel.... I wasn’t really what I thought it was, I guess. We started with a lot of basic ballet stuff. The only tme I was in dance was when I was 3 or , and I have no memory of that! O_o So after an hour of clueless moving around, I went home. At least I now know what to expect if I ever choose to go back. *nods* For now, I’m going to stick to my Nami Tamaki dances. ^^
Tuesday was really uneventful..... Today was pretty much the same. I took a test in Global Studies, and that went okay. I think I may have gotten a B or so on it, which is good. And in Culinary class, we practiced decorating “cakes”. It was fun. =D Our “cakes” were actually just cake pans, but it’s the same concept, right?
For now, I have some homework and a project to do, but it’ll be quick.... I hope. XD But I’ll try to get to sites from past 3 days. If not today, tomorrow. *hugs minna*

   *hands out cake and cookies to everyone*
OK!!!!!! It’s my half-sister Savannah’s birthday today! ^^ *throws confetti everywhere* I just really wish she was here with ME to celebrate it.
Just confused ya, didn’t I? heehee. I said that I would explain it, yeah? So if you want to know, read on, if you don’t then just leave your mark with a comment or something! ^^ So here’s the story, the simple, yet detailed story (OMG, I just quoted my fanfic! XDDDD anyway.....)
About 12 years or so ago, my mom had enough of my dad (Haven’t we all!) and she moved out of the house, and she and this co-worker of hers, Chris, moved into an apartment together. So my mom and dad aren’t divorced, and my mom and Chris aren’t married. Then on this day 11 years ago, my mom gave birth to my half-sister Savannah So when my mom passed way (Nov. 9.) Chris kind of thought, “what am I going to do with this baby?” He hated everyone, especially, me. (All Chris wanted was my mom.... >.>) So then Chris moved to Las Vegas and lived with his parents. Since he told no one about this move, no one in my family had any idea where she could be for 3 months. The cops found him, and then my grandparents and aunt Kim started visiting my sister out in Nevada. (Chris didn’t like that) I haven’t been out there, because Chris totally hates my guts. ANYWAY.... Chris got married with a woman who already had some kids, and later on, they all moved to New Mexico, without telling anyone. (>
So that’s my story. Thank you to those who read it. I’m not telling you guys this to make you feel sorry for me, FYI. I just want to tell people something I’m fighting for. *huggles for minna*

   One Day in Paradise...
Kibou: Well, it’s back to being cloudy again. Yesterday was the nicest day in a while! (try 20 days! X_x) I wanted to do something outside, like run, but... I stayed home, did some homework, and raked the leaves, since they were dry for once. And of course, I jumped in the, XD
Yami: You shoved me in too.....
Kibou: I’d like to call it “a playful push” *smiles innocently*
Yami: ....... yeah..... sure......
Kibou: Only other thing that happened yesterday is we had a fire out in the backyard. There were s’mores! ^____^ yummy. My dad just need to get rid of a bunch of wood in the garage, since he cleaned it out yesterday. (We burned some weird stuff... XP try a wooden toliet seat! XDDDDDDDDD) On another note: This week, Monday, I’m trying out for the Dance yeam at school. I’m excited, but a bit nervous, I hope I do well. I’m also taking a test Monday, and one on Tuesday. AND possibly there will be another one mixed up within the week. *prays* don’t become hectic.... don’t become hectic..... don’t become hectic.....

Guess it’s all over except for last-minute things! I may pop back in here later in the week, we’ll have to see how things go with the tests and all. I’m planning on making some submissions sometime this week, or at least, before Halloween. SPEAKIGN OF WHICH, I did submit 3 e-cards... Thursday, was it? Yeah, if anyone wants to see them, here’s a quick link: NEW E-cards! They're kind of stupid, but I think they're funny...... ^_^;

Lastly, it’s my half-sister Savannah’s birthday tomorrow! ^^ (I’ll have the full story on her tomorrow, just because I can! XD) She’s turning 11. ^___^ And of course, I’m going to be making a cake.
Question! What kind of cake should I make? (Chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon... whatever! ^^)

   4-day weekend is now half over. T_T
Kibou: 2 days down, 2 more to go. My vacation time is almost up.
Yami: But there’s more to come in about 2 weeks.
Kibou: Yeah, I guess I shouldn’t complain. Getting Thurs and Fri off was a nice change. =D Re-cap of the 3-day week? Lots of notes in Astronomy and Global studies. (Oh joy... ><) In Culinary class, we made 750 pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies. O_o
Yami: 63 dozen.... Wow. Who has time to eat all those?
Kibou: Well, you ate all the ones I brought home! XD Anyway, Wednesday I took the PSAT. (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) [It’s a college thing.] I’m glad it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. More recently: Yesterday I went shopping. (Yay) I got some cool stuff. The day ended with Chai tea and biscotti.
Yami: How can you go wrong with that? XD
Kibou: and today it SOOO nice out! ^^ There’s actually sun out! (There hasn’t been hardly any for the past 20 days or so. X_x) gotta do something outside today. Last thing: On Monday, I’m trying out for the dance. Team! ^^ Wish me luck! =D

Salih started up the stairs again to the roof. In the past twenty four hours he saw Anika plenty, but not like that. She looked spiritually stronger.
“It’s a beautiful morning.” Salih finally spoke. Anika turned her head and smiled.
“Yeah, it is...” Anika responded. “How did you find me up here?” she asked.
“A little bird, or prince, told me.” Salih answered as Anika nodded. There was a moment of silence between them, the sun rising a bit higher each moment. “So how long have you been here, Anika?” Salih asked. Anika looked down, then back up, thinking.
Um... The sun was just coming up, barely, so I--”
“No, no....” Salih interrupted her. “I mean here at the palace.”
Oh...” Anika simply said, then thought for a moment. “Well, it was before my birthday...” Anika thought for again for a bit. “Maybe... five months or so?” She informed.
“Wow.” was all that Salih could say. Anika too, was impressed by the number.
“So you and Khalil have been living quite the life for all that time, huh?” Salih laughed. Anika let a short breath escape her.
“Not exactly. Khalil wasn’t with me the entire time. For a while, I thought he was gone, just like the village.” Anika told him. Salih looked at her,
“How did he get here, then?” Salih finally asked.
“Unexpectedly, in a weird, twisted way,” came Anika’s response.
“How so?”
“A woman came here and brought him to the palace.” Salih wasn’t sure how that was twisted anyway, but he waited for her to say something more. “She wanted to make a deal. I could have Khalil back if....” She hesitated for a moment. “If she could have the power within me.” Anika said quietly. Salih’s eyes grew. “I didn’t know how she was going to do that, or anything that could really happen...” She trailed off for a brief moment. She didn’t like lying, but she didn’t want to add to Salih’s worry towards her. “...but she was defeated in the end... and Khalil was safe.” Anika put on a light smile as she finished. “Everything is ok now.” Salih wanted to know more.
“How did she know you were here, this woman?”
“Khalidah, and I don’t know... ” Anika told him about the time when she kidnapped her.
“Here?” Salih said loudly, almost a shout. “What was the Prince doing?”
“...sleeping. But later he-”
“I thought he would protect you.” Salih said, a bit angry.
“It wasn’t his fault, Salih!” Anika pleaded. “I went out on my own. But in the end, At- Prince Atem, he saved me.” Salih sighed and turned away from Anika for the moment.

   ...And Before Ya Know It, It’s All Over But the Weekend.....
Kibou: ZOMG! I’m still alive! ^^; Okay, okay.... The 3-day week wasn’t all THAT stressful, but I did run around a bit. And I’m glad it’s over. In both Astronomy and Global Studies, there were a lot of notes. O_o My had was writing at the speed of light and I was making up symbols for words. Ha!
Yami: It works, as long as you don’t forget what they all mean.
Kibou: Yeah.. heh... that wouldn’t be good. And on Tuesday my Global Studies teacher kept handing us worksheets to do. Enough with the work! I have a PSAT to study for! >< Going with the theme of the PSAT, studying for it was stressful and aggravating. I was taking the practice test, and it was really confusing! I got totally lost. I was worried that I wasn’t going to be able to pass. But on the actual test day, it went pretty well. We had 25 minutes for each part of the test, and I got 99% of the questions answered.
Yami: and there’s no penalty for questions that you don’t finish, and only ¼ point off in you get it wrong. So there’s a penalty for guessing, but a lot less pressure.
Kibou: I needed that. I needed a good stress reliever afterwards, but it came before hand, in Culinary class. ^^ (Yep, here we go again.) On Monday and Tuesday the class was in the kitchen all day. Our class runs a bakery and we get orders for bakery goods from the community. Our first order was to make 300 pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies. Nest day, it got raised to 750! Thank God for commercial mixers. But conferences were on Tuesday for that class. I went well, since I have an A in that class. But Wednesday I couldn’t get to that class, because of the PSAT. Yarg... Didn’t like that.
Yami: At least it’s a 4-day weekend....
Kibou: yeah * flops on bed* I want to draw something... I’m trying to get better at that.... heehee. Ok! Question! What’s a good thing to draw when you’re trying to get better? Like, something you can practice? There’s so much I want to draw, but I don’t know how to do it real well! ^^;;;;
Guess that’s it for now... It’s rainy and could out, so I guess I’ll stay in my nice dry house. XD

   Music, Pictures, and Burritos
Kibou: Yesterday was really fun. ^^ It was nice and warm compared from previous days....
Yami: and now it’s gone... which a complete bummer....
Kibou: Well, it’ll keep me inside so I can finish my astronomy homework... *sigh* But anyway, since it was nice out, and I had a coupon for a free burrito at Chipotle, I decided why not get s free lunch? Rode my bike and a got a chicken burrito. Life is good. XD THEN..... Kana-chan came over. Like I said before, she was going to take pictures of me for her Photo class. I felt kind of silly at sometimes, but it was really fun. She was taking pictures of me as I went about my day.
Yami: I like the sleeping pose the best. XD You do sleep half off your bed.
Kibou: And sometimes I fall out. heehee. Hasn’t happened recently... But I went over to Kana-chan’s house afterwards, and she let me borrow ALL of her CDs, plus her burned ones. I went through them, and there were 57 CDs I knew I wasn’t going to go through, and so far, I’ve gone through 25 of the HUGE pile of CDs I WILL go through. This is going to take a while.....

This week will go by fast, it’s a 3-day week! *dances* But... it’s going to be really busy. I have an astronomy test to study for, a packet and test in my Culinary class, and whatever homework and tests I’m going to get in Global Studies. But most of all, I have the PSAT on Wednesday. *dies* Let’s hope I can get through this week in one piece! So I may not be around for a few days, gomen!
