   Saturday! Yesh!
Kibou: Just a re-cap of the week, Monday on the way back to school from Culinary class (I take it at a nearby collage) the bus got in an accident. >< no one was hurt, but I missed my bus home. I was busy in the kitchen at home and at school, making pasta and egg rolls at school, and potato soup and pizza from scratch at home. ^^
Yami: I don’t think we’ll go hungry for a while with that pizza.
Kibou: It was a big pizza. Mid-terms were this week. My grades were B+ for Astronomy, A in Global Studies and an A for my Culinary class. ^^ Yay! I took a ServSafe test in Culinary yesterday. If I pass it, I’ll get a ServSafe certificate and I’ll get a better job in the food industry and all that good stuff. ^^ But something freaky happened after the test. First of all, there are two Foods classrooms, between them is a large bakery and a large kitchen. An office in the kitchen is where I took my test. I went to the other classroom to give my test to the teacher. But on my way back, I was passing the furnaces, stoves, & fryers (there’s an opening between the two furnaces & you can see to the other side which has a table and a stove.) I glanced in that direction, and I saw a dark figure (It was a guy... dark..... figure... ) appear from behind the furnace (I didn’t see him come from the other side!) walk pass the table, and disappear from behind the other furnace! O_o Creepy!
Yami: Don’t know what it was, and probably don’t want to know, right?
Kibou:... I kind of do wanna know! Wonder if the college is haunted.....

Anika suddenly felt a hand grasp her shoulder. She let out a small gasp as she spun around. A sigh of relief escaped her to see Salih now standing in front of her.
“You couldn’t have caught me in a brightly lit room, could you?” she laughed. Salih let out a chuckle of his own.
“I’m sorry I startled you. I thought I was going to sleep until morning, but... guess I didn’t. I was wondering where you were, since I had taken your bed.” Anika nodded once.
“Yeah, I was just thinking about that.” She stated and rubbed her eyes a little. She saw Atem coming up behind Salih and a small smile formed.
“Well there’s an extra bed waiting to be used in the guest room.” Atem mentioned, joining the conversation. Salih turned his head before turning completely around.
“Thank you.” He responded, bowing ever so slightly.
“Let’s go see,” Anika suggested. Salih nodded as Atem led Anika and Salih to the guest room. It was the room where Anika slept her first nights at the palace. Salih’s things were at the foot of the bed. The three talked before Atem left the room. Anika and Salih talked for a bit longer before they wished each other “good night”.

The next day, Salih wakened after dawn. He stretched, and went towards Anika’s room. Once he found the room, he peeked inside. Khalil was fast asleep in the smaller bed next to Anika’s empty one. Salih stood outside the doorway, waiting for Anika to appear. She never did. Salih sighed and walked briskly around the palace, looking for “missing” Anika. He saw Atem turn a corner.
“Wait!” he called out to him. Atem turned,
“Is something wrong?” he asked.
“Have you seen Anika?” Salih began. “She’s not in her room.” Atem peered around, as if he too, was looking for her.
“She’s probably out walking around. ”Atem smiled. “She does that a lot. Try the roof, she may be up there...” Atem suggested. He pointed, “Just follow that hall, and you’ll see it after a bit.” Salih was surprised by the casualty in Atem’s voice. He mumbled a “thank you” as he walked away. Salih had finally found a set of stairs up to the roof. Sure enough, Anika was standing right there. She was gazing into the sunrise, letting the sun light her face as the wind blew her long hair back. Salih stopped advancing up the stairs for a moment. He had seen a light in Anika’s eyes that he had never seen before.

   The Week thus Far... Why am I posting this early?
Kibou: I have time to post. On a Friday morning when I have school. Ah, well, this week has been interesting and it’s just about over. Starting with Monday: On the bus ride back from the college (where I take my culinary class), we got in a accident. >< No one was hurt, but the bus scarped the left side of a car. The car was in the wrong direction, on the shoulder, I believe. But the police officer got all of our name who were on the bus. We were 25 minutes late getting back to school.
Yami: *yawns* (((Why am I up? Oh well....))) Well you missed the bus home that day. The buses couldn’t wait an extra 5 minutes, huh?
Kibou: *sighs* No... no they couldn’t. I got home at 4, which was fine, I guess. But we’ve been crash-free for the past 3 days.
Yami: Well thank Ra for that.
Kibou: Other than that, nothing real big has been going on. I did get my mid-term report on Wed. I have a B+ in Astronomy, an A in Global studies and an A in my Culinary Class. *dances* yayness.
Yami: And you made egg rolls Wednesday in Culinary, didn’t you?
Kibou: Yeah and they were REALLY good. I let Kana-chan have one before she got dropped off at her bus stop, 15 minutes later she calls me at home “OMG! THEY WERE SOOOOO GOOD! ..... Do you have any to spare?” XDDDDDDDDDDDD Good ol’ Kana-chan. Heehee. I’ve been busy In the kitchen at school and at home. I made Pasta Monday (school) potato soup Tuesday (home) Egg rolls Wednesday (school) and chicken pizza from scratch (home)
Yami: And a turkey sandwich....... ..... I guess that doesn’t count?
Kibou: Um...... no. But all were very good. Well, that’s all the ranting I’ll do for now. I have a bus to catch at 7:10, and it’s now... 7:05?!?!?!?! Oh Ra, gotta run!

   Running out of things to say.....
Kibou: Wow! I really have nothing much to say today. ^_^; Yesterday Shelly came over and we all cleaned the windows, because they really needed it. Even though.... I didn’t really do much.
Yami: Just finished an AMV, and ate pizza, bike rode.
Kibou: Yeah... went on the computer, and um.. that’s it. It was a REALLY nice day, though. Very warm. I liked it!

   Yay for the Weekend
Kibou: It’s the weekend again. This week was fun. Thank you, Homecoming. ^^ Since it was Homecoming, we had Spirit days, like I said before. I dressed up for 3 out of 5 days. PJ Day, Superhero Day, and Multiple day (where everyone dresses the same) I got pictures, first time, I hope they come out.
Yami: Time does fly when you’re having fun, or at least, 3/5 of the time.
Kibou: I still had fun everyday. Thursday was funny, since my group in the culinary class had to make a “Slip, Trip, and Falling Prevention” video. Me doing all the slipping and such. (No worries, no bruises)I was kept busy the last few days, though. A few tests to study for, homework, and a paper to write. I am really happy, because I got 25/25 on my current events! *hands out cookies* ^_^
Yami: *sneaks a cookie*
Kibou: ... I saw that. I have some interesting news, Friday morning there was BIG, HUGE, LOUD storm! O_o At 3:00 in the morning, I was awoken by a house-shaking rumble of thunder, and then it began to pour. It was so cool!
Yami: And since you woke up from that, it had to be pretty loud. You always sleep like a rock. XD
Kibou: True... true....

Anika suddenly heard someone cry out to her. She stood immediately and went out in the hall.
“Khalil!” She called as she saw him farther down the way.
“Anika!” Khalil ran towards her.
“What’s wrong?” Anika asked, stooping down and holding her brother by the shoulders.
“There’s someone in your bed!” Khalil said in a loud whisper. “I thought it was you, then they stirred and then said your name, they saw me, and then they said my name before collapsing back down.” Khalil pause for a moment. “It freaked me out.” he said in a small voice. Anika let out a long breath she had been holding, and looked to the floor. She began to relax, and she actually started to laugh.
“It’s ok, Khalil.” Anika assured him. “It’s ok.” She stood to her full height and looked at Khalil with a smile. “I know you were young, but do you remember Salih?” Khalil thought a moment.
“Yeah... I kind of do. He was funny.” Khalil recalled with a small laugh. “But he went away, didn’t he?” Anika nodded.
“Yes he did, but he’s also the one that freaked you out, the one that’s in our room.”
“That was Salih?!” Khalil gasped. Anika nodded again,
“But don’t bother him now,” she instructed. “He’s come a long way and needs his rest.”
“Salih?” Mana asked from behind Anika.
“An old friend of mine” Anika answered, “From my village.” Mana’s eyes widened. “He survived Bakura’s destruction of the place?”
“No, he moved three years ago.” Anika informed her. “He didn’t know about what happened to the village until he saw it with his own eyes.” Mana mouthed an “Oh...”. Anika explained Salih’s story of who he is and who he got to the palace to Mana and Khalil. Afterwards, Khalil was wondering what Anika and Mana were up to. Mana got down on her knees so she would be eye-to-eye with Khalil.
You can’t tell anyone about this, ok?” Mana told him. Khalil nodded and covered his mouth. Mana told him about Atem’s birthday and some of the events that were to take place.
“Oh, Anika can cook really good food1” Khalil beamed. Just the thought made him hungry.
“Are you going to do anything for Atem?” Mana asked Khalil playfully. Khalil walked around the room as if he was deep in thought. “I can draw him a picture!” He proclaimed, his one arm in the air. Anika and Mana chuckled at his sudden action. “Alright,” Mana said, “You can draw Atem a picture.”
The rest of the day passed quickly, and soon it was nightfall. Anika was walking down a darker hallway. She could have sworn someone was following her, but she shook her head, she was sure she was only getting paranoid.
“I’m getting a bit too tired.” She thought to herself. “Letting my imagination run wild.” Her paranoia was confirmed as she felt someone grab her by the shoulder.

   Another Post!
Kibou: wow, two days in a row of posting. O_o YAY!
Yami: Don’t curse yourself again.
Kibou: Oh, no, I’m not going to do that! ^^; Today Coronation for Homecoming Royalty went on at school. The pep fest was good, the dance team did a good job, (no dirty dancing this time...yesh) Um...
Yami: did you can Kana-chan start dancing? Even though for you, it’s typical.
Kibou: Well, sort of. Some staff members had a band going on, and they actually played, “Move Along” (All-American Rejects) Kana-chan and I were clapping, then we started pumping our fists and playing the air drums. ^^; It was great! I loved it. OH! and in Culinary class, we made calzones! ^^ Bad thing, I did about 80% of the work. >< Made half the dough, made the dough balls, flattened them out, and washed the dishes. *sigh* Ridiculous.
Yami: The one ya brought home was really good, though.
Kibou: Heh. Only good thing =P ... ... ... ... ... Guess that’s all I have to rant about. ^^; I hope that the trend of minimal homework continues. *crosses fingers*

   Too Late For a Sunday Post But......
Kibou: I never thought I’d say this, but I’m glad it’s Monday. -_-; Why? Because I don’t have to worry about a current event project anymore. That’s what I was working on all last week, weekend, and especially yesterday. It was hard. I had to find 5 articles and withing those, fine 3 parts of “PRAISE” (acronym my teacher made up. Political, Religion, yadda yadda yadda) We had to find PRAISE, explain how it was a part of PRAISE, and summarize the article. I was up until midnight do that, plus other homework. ><
Yami: and now it’s all over.
Kibou: Yay....... *slumps in chair* On the happy side of things, this week is Spirit week at my school. Today was PJ day. ^^ I like wearing PJs! Tomorrow is Dress-up day. And... I dunno what to do for that....
Yami: Kibou chan is going to wear a skirt....... XD
Kibou: Skirts are evil..... XP I may just wear nice pants or something. *shrugs* Rest of the week? Superhero day, Multiple day, and spirit day is Friday. We’ll see how things work out. I guess that’s all I have to say for this post....Luckily for me, I don’t have homework today *happy dance*
Yami: It’s a nice break from the weekend’s load.
Kibou: I’m going to figure out something to snack on, and I’ll be around to comment after that!

   Did I Just Curse Myself? I think I did.....
Kibou: The last half of this week was a bit more busy, more homework. XP
Yami: It must have made up for the first no-homework half.
Kibou: Global studies me and 3 other people were working on a character collage. (Draw a character, and put symbols and words around it) I was pretty much the leader, since I was telling everyone to help put it together. (We did Buddha, by the way) and heck, I’m tired of being a quiet in-the-corner girl.
Yami: It’s a good, bold step forward.
Kibou: And I plan to go all the way. And it’s about time.

“Mana!” Anika laughed, “Where are you taking me?”
“Oh, just come on!” She said over her shoulder, still grasping Anika’s hand. Mana lead them to a small room on a far side of the palace. Mana looked out the doorway before pulling the curtain shut. She turned and pulled back the curtain concealing the window. “Ok!” Mana sighed as she sat down on a nearby chair. “Do you know what’s going on in a few weeks?” Anika looked around, as if the answer was in the room.
“Ummm.... No?” she answered as she sat down as well. Mana chuckled.
“So he didn’t tell ya yet, huh?” Anika was completely confused at this point.
“Who? Tell me what?” Mana sprung up from the chair. “Atem!” she exclaimed, putting the end to one of the mysteries.
“Atem’s birthday is coming up!” Anika’s eyes widened.
“Really? Wow!” she exclaimed as Mana nodded with a wide grin.
“Yeah, celebrating the prince’s birthday is really fun. There’s dancing, and a big party, not to mention all the food you can eat!”
“Sounds like a nice time.” Anika mentioned.
“This year is going to be the best, though!” Mana boasted.
“Why is that?”
“This year is Atem’s eighteenth birthday, the year where he becomes a pharaoh!” Mana was getting more and more excited. “It’s supposed to be the grandest celebration of all!”
“Wow..... that has to be really something!” Anika grinned.
“Mahad and I are going to use our magic together and put on a good show. That’s why I brought you down al this way, so no one would over hear.” Mana told Anika. “Mahad and I have been practicing between lessons..”
“Wish I could do something like that.” Anika stated with a half smile.
“Also a reason why I brought you down here,” Mana began. “Do you want to do anything in the celebration? I know Atem would want you there.” Anika shrugged. “How about ‘What are you good at’?”
“Well,” Anika began after a moment of silence, “I can cook... I guess...” Anika shrugged. “I cooked to provide for me and Khalil at times, like on our birthdays, and it was pretty good...”
“That’s what you can do!” Mana exclaimed. “You can cook something for Atem!” Anika smiled for a moment and liked the idea, but wasn’t too sure about it,
“Well, I don’t know...” she muttered. “It won’t be as good as what the cook makes here.” Anika let out a small laugh as she shook her head. Mana thought a moment.
“I’m sure it’s fine!” She smiled.” Maybe later, we can go into the kitchen and see what you’ve got.” Mana suggested as she winked. Anika finally smiled.
“Yeah that would be--”
”Anika!!!” A sudden cry was heard.

Yes, yes, I know... more cooking. I wanted to give Anika good talent, and my friend Stephi suggested I put “a bit of me in my character”. And she said cooking would be something unique. So blame her. It was her idea! XDDDDD

   I could get used to this....
Not too much homework this week! Yay! ^^ So I figured I’d squeeze in a post. Heehee. First off, I want to thank those who wished me luck on my tests! ^^ *huggles* My Histroy test wasn’t the greatest, a C, but I got a B+ on my Astronomy test! Whoo! It was the second highest score. ^^ Me and some one else are the only two people with As. ((O_o)) What else... oh! In my Chef class we made coffee cake. It’s really good! Sometime this week, we’re going to make crepes. And sometime this week, hopefully, we’ll get our chef coats... ^___^ I’m so excited for that!
Some random, funny fact: There’s a guy that liked me from the 6th grade, to the 9th grade. I used to like him a little bit in the 6th grade, and so keep that secret crush secret (back then), Kana-chan and I code named him “Kiwi” XP We’ve seen him a lot this year, and now, every time we see him, we yell, “Kiwi!” Of course he doesn’t hear us, cuz he has his iPod going. But it’s so funny.

And I have to say “THANKS!” to everyone that downloaded my wallpaper yesterday! ^^ It got to the front page of the wallpaper section! #2! Yesh! *huggles everyone* That was my goal. =3
Lastly, I had this REALLY weird Yu-Gi-Oh dream! There was Yugi, Joey, Tea, Ishizu, Kaiba, Serentity, but then there was me and Kana-chan. Nothing odd was really going on, but we’re all on a boat, (What’s with YGO and boats? heehee) but it looked like “Season 0” of YGO, only worse. Graphics were really bad. Tea kept claiming she has never seen Serentiy before, and Ishizu had pink lips! XD Kaiba was nicer, Yugi was completely shy, and Joey was really hyper! Heehee. Gotta love those random dreams...... XDDDDDD

Anything else I want to blab on and on about? Nah. Nothing is going on.....
