Happy 4th of July!!
Hope ya'll are having a good holiday. Mine so far is bleh. I'm just glad it hasn't rained yet today. ^^'''''' All of you in the US probably already know, if you watch the news, that Texas has been getting more than it's fare share of rain lately. Well, I happen to live in Northeast Texas, so I've been getting all that rain. As much as I love rain, I want it to stop already!!! I happen to have a creek right behind my house, and every time it rains it floods over. I'm just grateful I live on a hill so it's really hard for my house to get flooded. I Spoke too soon, it's raining as I'm typing this. -_-'''''''
Because of this dang weather, I've been having slow days at work or people complaining of having green pools and what-not. (I work at Leslie's Pool Supply) It gets kind of tiresome to tell people over and over the same thing and to turn down customers 'cause we don't have something they need, which lately is pool salt. I kid you not, we get a shipment of that stuff on Thursday, and it's on a huge wooden palate, and we sell out of it by Saturday. It's that bad.
Other than that, my life's been kinda blah. I'm starting flute lessons again next week and I leave for four days from the 19th-22nd for a wedding in Ohio, that'll be fun. A wedding I'll actually remember! I've been to one before, but I don't remember it 'cause I was little, and it was in Mexico. That's all I remember. XP I'll let ya'll know when I leave, 'ight? Hopefully I won't drown thanks to this dumb weather before hand.

"Say somethin' that you know they may attack you for...."
"Hands Held High" by Linkin Park
Well, I saw Spamalot yesterday. It was great! I was singing along to nearly all the songs since I have the soundtrack. I loved it! And I love how they took lines straight from the movie. Oh, it was great!
Well, to give ya'll an update, me and Kuroneko have worked things out and are staying togther. We had our 1 year and 2 month anniversary last Wednesday. ^^ We've been togther for a looooonnnnnggggg time now. =^^=
Oh! I got to go see the Crossmen (a DCI marching band) practice at my school! It was great! I know someone in it (he's a euphonium I think in this group), which made it even better. We had fun picking out the sections and the "flag fags" (the guys on the colorguard). If you don't know, guys on ANY marching band colorguard are usually gay 'cause that's mostly a girl thing to do, and the ones that join are usually flaming, which makes it even better. *chuckles* I'm not trying to be rude or anything, we've had guys on our colorguard at my school, I'm just being bluntly honest. XD

"They sing that evil comes disguised..."
"The River" by Good Charlotte featuring M. Shadows and Synyster from Avenged Sevenfold
Hey guys, just giving an update. I managed to land a job at the local Leslie's Pool and Supply store. I'm a water tester and sales associate. Fun. NOT! It's actually really boring, and I have to put up with really stupid people. But I get paid well and I can stay home this year, so it works I guess. Just a summer job after all.
I've been down lately, and I have no clue why. I think my depression may be coming back. I had it a long time ago, when I was younger, and I have a feeling it maybe coming back. Not sure yet. I know how it got triggered, though. I've been anxious about my relationship with Kuroneko. I feel like I don't love him anymore, or at least not the way I used to. It got kinda worse after I met a guy, who is now my friend, and I kinda feel like maybe I like him now. I'm not sure, it's really complicated. I'm not sure if I should break up with Kuroneko or not. *sighs*
Oh, on the 23rd I'm going to go see the Broadway play Spamalot. ^^ Can't wait! I've heard it's really good, so I can't wait.

O.M.G!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I came back from Austin, Texas on Saturday. I was there with my Flute Choir for State UIL. We got a 2!!!!! =^^= We probably would've gotten a 1 if we had stands. -_-''''' Oh well.
Applied for jobs today. I hope someone calls me back. *crosses fingers* Wish me luck!
Just thought I'd give ya'll an update.

"All I've got's what you didn't take..."
"In pieces" by Linkin Park
Hey guys. I'm doing better. Me and Kuroneko have worked out the rough spots in our relationship, so it's going alright right now. Today is our 13th month (1 year and 1 month) anniversary. =^^= Hopefully there will be more months to add to that. I dunno. We'll see.
I only have 3 1/2 more days left of school!! Then I'll be a Junior! *le gasp* I feel old now. XP And for those of you who've known me for quite a while now are probably thinking "Wow.....already a Junior...." Yeah, I know you're thinking it. Since I'm done with AP testing (whooo....let me tell you...my brain was mush after that.), I can finally get in some job applications since I'm not going away for work this year. Yeah, I'm staying in my hometown to work instead of going down south. Hopefully I get to go work at one of the local movie theaters with a friend of mine who already works there.
Oh, I got the new Linkin Park CD. I say, if you haven't listened to it yet, listen to these songs: "Leave Out All the Rest" and "Hands Held High". Those are my favorites and have a lot of meaning in them.

Wow, haven't been here in awhile....
Sorry I've been gone for so long. School work has been piling up what with the AP exam coming up next week and school ending in just a few weeks. That, and I've been up to my eyeballs in projects. Not fun, let me tell you.
Warnig! you don't have to read this paragraph if you don't want to! Skip down to the next if you wish.
Well, I also have to apologize because I've been having reltaionship issues with my boyfriend, and it's not going all that great. Ever since I found something out, we've been on rocky ground what with me contemplating dumping him and always getting into fights. I really don't know what to do about it, so I've been consumed by the drama for awhile now. I'm trying to take comfort in my friends, to help myself get over of what's happening. I'm just beyond pissed at him (which is saying something since I hardly ever get pissed) and have no clue as to what to do.
I'm alright, I really am. Tomorrow morning I have March-a-thon for Marching band. Get to meet the incoming Freshmen, see who all shall be in the flute section. Oh, FYI, I tried out for Section Leader/ Drill Instructor, didn't make it. But my friend Kitty did! I'll try out again my senior year. Hopefully I'll make it then. And seeing as who all we have this year, I'm pretty sure the flute section us going to be disciplined next year!
Anywho, I'll try and visit all of ya'lls sites as soon as I can!

"Take my hand, we'll make it I swear...."
"Livin' on a prayer" by Bon Jovi
Lucy, I'm home! I came back from my Colorado ski trip on April 1st, so it's been awhile since I've been home. Sorry I didn't get to update sooner, but I've been trying to get caught up in class. It's really hard to get caught up in an AP class, let me tell you. I'm failing miserablly just from the stuff I missed in that class. >< See what I mean?
Alright, about the ski trip. Well, on our way there, we got stuck in Amarillo for awhile by the huge storm system that made 63 tornados from the Texas panhandle all the way up to Nebraska. Yeah, we were in that. Managed to get stuck at a gas station for a good while. When we were about to leave, another band who was going to the same place as us came in because of the weather. Small world, huh? No, we didn't get hit by any tornados, luckily. Got a nice lightening show though. ^^
When we got there, it was so funny to watch everyone's reaction once they realized we where in Colorado and there was a bunch of snow on the ground. Ok, in Northeast Texas, we hardly get snow, and if we do get it, it quickly turns to ice, so we've never seen "real" snow. So when all the girls freaked out over it, I started laughing my head off. Sorry to say, but I've been to Colorado before, just never went skiing or been to Winterpark, so their reactions where really funny. It was really funny when we were going up the mountains and one of the girls' sister that tagged along (though she wasn't supposed to since she has failing grades. That, children, is called illegal. But her mom let her come. ><) looked over the side and kinda freaked out since she's afraid of heights and one of the Juniors went up behind her and said "Don't fall over!" and made her freak out even more. XD
I was one of the few who got to go to ski lessons when we got there since our rooms weren't ready. (2 hours late, and they only had 2 rooms ready. WTF mate?) Anywho, I just wanted all the guys there just to talk to me. The lessons guys were from all around the world, and had these wonderful accents. Ok, I'll admit, I'm a sucker for a really thick accent on a guy. It just sounds so awesome! Then again, to them, I probably have a really bad Texan drawl. *shrugs* There was a really nice Australian guy that helped me out a lot, he was really friendly. And our main teacher, the one who took us down the slope, was from Afghanistan. My god, he was handsome! *drools* =^^=
After getting lessons, I went to the hotel to get ready for the concert that night. But right when I took my boots, I found I had extremely bad Charlie Horses in my calves. Couldn't put any weight on my legs till I was forced to to get up to my room. Had to skip out on the concert, and remain cripple for a full day afterwards. >< Not fun. I heard it was a good thing I missed out on the concert, apparently the band did reeeeaaaallllyyy bad. *shrugs* Not my fault! :p But the day I was cripple, I managed to go to the hot tub and pool for awhile. It was so cool, it was snowing while I was in there! ^^ I also got to go souvenier shopping later that day, just to get around some.
The next day, I went skiing in the morning and shopping in the afternoon. Let me warn you: if you EVER go to Winter Park, prepare to bring LOTS of money, it's freakishly expensive there. I spent over $60 on souveniers, none of which where for me. But my mum did get me a shirt that I got to pick the prints for. The front has the ski festival thing on it, then a big 'WHUT?' on the back with a Winter Park underneath. ^^ If I could've, I would've gotten the shirt print that said 'Normal to bitch in 4.3 seconds'. Oh yeah, totally me!
We didn't get to stay very long since we were taking buses and it's about a 20-or so- hour drive. But get this: if we'd flown, we'd be able to stay longer, for the same price!! >< But the directors said the next chance they get, we're gonna go again, but fly instead. =^^=
Alright, I need to go finish up a few more things.

"I memorized Holy Grail really well, I can recite it right now and have you ROTFLOL...."
"White and nerdy" by Weird Al. Love that song!!!
Sad thing is, That lyric is true about me. XD
Well, just to let you guys know, I'm feeling much better. Finally got over having the flu. It's not fun being sick while you're on Spring Break. XP Oh well, it's not like I died or anything like that. XD
Ok, there's a story behind why I chose that song. Me and my friend Cheyenne are going to be trying out for a talent show for Coins for Cooks, a club/foundation she founded that raises money that goes to a local Cooks Childrens Hospital. She came up with an idea to have a talent show, get out of school for part of the day to have the people who made it go and perform for the kids. And seeing as she founded it, she wanted to try out for it. Why not, right? So we're going to be doing "White and nerdy" just for fun. Give 'em a laugh.
Next week I'm leaving for Colorado. Can't wait! I switched from snowboarding to skiing 'cause I heard from a friend of mine (who's from Colorado) that it's usually icy about this time of year, and even the people at the hotel suggested those who where snowboarding to change to skiing to have more fun. So I decided to change it. I'll learn snowboarding some other time. At least I get to do something fun, and learn something new! We have skii-in condo's, which is awesome! For those who don't know, skii-in condo's means you can go from the slopes, right up to the back door of your condo, it's right there. =^^= Can't wait! *is bouncing in her chair*
I had a Girl Scout Camp in April get cancelled. *is bummed* My troop was supposed to be hosting it, but apparently it had to be cancelled due to lack of participation. -_- Oh well, just means I can get my drivers liscense on Friday the 13th now. ^^ That's right people, Yami is going to be able to drive legally, and will be able to on the most superstitious day of the month! *dances* XD I'm just that strange.

Blah......
Sorry I haven't been around all that much lately. I just happened to catch the flu when I started spring break. Ain't that great?!? -_-'''' Yeah, being miserable for most of your vacation is just the best friggen thing in the world. *sigh* But I'm feeling better, still kinda weirded out from laying around for so long, and feeling like Pillze from illwillpress.com. (foamy's pill-poppin' friend) XP Luckily, I got better just in time to go with some friends tomorrow to go banquet dress shopping. I'm glad I don't get to miss out on that, though I do miss out on the sleep-over afterwards since I don't want to get anyone else sick, but oh well. Small price to pay.
At the end of this month I'm leaving to go to Colorado for a band trip. I'm gonna learn how to snowboard!! Sa-weet! If anyone happens to see a chick falling on her butt or eating more snow than anything else and is laughing her head off about it, that would be me. *raises hand* XD

"Behind those beautiful smiles I've seen tragedy..."
"Lucifer's Angel" by Rasmus
Whee, it's Friday! Today I had the greatest day in Geometry. The broadcasting class at my school, which does the announcements, has decided to start a fun new program called Punk'd. They just started it by using the Principal and getting two unsuspecting guys "in trouble". Today, they decided to go up on the school hierarchy and go after a teacher, my Geometry teacher. What we did was she had to take something down to the office by the request of another teacher. When she left, we snuck out of the room with our stuff and went into another class room that was empty and waited for her to come back. When she did, they managed to get a camera in her room and record her reaction. I won't get to see it till Wednesday, but when we came back saying "You've been Punk'd!", she just started laughing. It was great!
Tomorrow I have Solo/Ensamble contest with Flute Choir. We're hoping to go State again, wish us luck! Also yesterday, on the note of Flute Choir, we got to play in the Jazz Caberet last night. I had a family of friends come and watch, their little girl (who's in 1st grade), is just now learning how to play flute, so I thought she'd like to come. After we played, we took them to the auditorium to watch one of the local Elementary School's African Drum Ensamble. It was amazing! They did at least 13 songs, all from memory! O.o Who'da thunk it? ^^
*jumps* My computer keeps making a loud beeping noise that scares the heck outta me. >< And it happens to be one of those beeps that sounds it's warning of something bad, but you have no clue what. ><'''''''It's annoying!
