   Love and lies
Why do we love?
Love is just a weakness
It's much stronger than pride
And makes you believe lies
It's just a stupid emotion
Many think they know what true love is
But they barely know a taste of it
It can be bitter
Yet, it can be sweet
It can embarress you
But sometimes,
It can lead you to the truth
The truth behind all the lies
Many people will spread rumors
Beleiveing in something not true
They don't care about the truth
To love someone
To give them all your trust
Is very hard work
But once you find that one person
Who is exactly like you, or opposite of you
Then you'll know the truth
Behind all the lies
Let your heart guide you
It may very well save you

Whatcha think of that one? I wrote it when I was wondering about love and then thought of what happens sometimes when you fall in love. Though, I know that others have different thoughts about it, it's just what I wrote that came to mind, only in poem form. Guess what? I'm in NJHS! (National Junior Honors Society) Though, it aint very hard to get into it. I think all the people you sighned up for it got in.

   Darkness
Darkness
It's all I see
Silence
It's what I hear
Trapped in this cage
Like a restless bird
The lock could be opened
If someone could understand
Then, one day
Someone came into my life
and taught me to understand
And a "miracle" happened
I understood "water"
Now, the darkness is no more
I still see it
But now, I can envision things
Flowers, water, a doll
Simple things to many
But a big change for me
The silence is what I hear still
But I understand the rumbling
The rumbling that is a voice
But can also be soft and smooth, like silk
I cannot hear music
But I feel the vibrations
I'm no longer a caged bird
I'm now a free flying eagle

Just a poem I wrote in English class the other day dedicated to Helen Keller. We (my class) have to do a project on someone famous. We had to pick from a list, and I chose Helen Keller. A few people read this poem and said it was really good, even my English teacher thought it was good, she couldn't believe that I had made it up from scratch! So, tell me your thoughts on the poem, ight?

Oh, I so can't wait till later on tonight! My school (and KagomeInuyashasit's school, we go to the same school ^^) are going to have our spring concert tonight at the new high school, Central High. It's huge! From a point of view from someone who hasn't been to the Dallas/Ft.Worth area, it looks like a 3 story college. It's huge! And fancy-shamancy.

   oh the reasons why I hate school....
Well, lets see, if one person touches me or bumps into me one more time, I swear I'm gonna snap! Today at school, the 7th graders had a "picnic", basically the PTA made us lunch and we had a free day in the gyms.(we have 2 of 'em)And I swear, too many people touched and bumped into me that now I'm really ticked off about it. Not only that, but I got a headache from people yelling, and screaming their heads off! I swear, my school is way too big and has waaaaaayyyyy too many students in it.

   Ok Shelby, I'm updateing, happy now? Nothing going on, 'cept stupid 7th grade picnic, which i doubt we'll be able to go to since it might as well rain, and it's raining right now! 9 1/2 days left of school, then I go off to Vidor, Texas to work. If you don't know where that is, it's near Orange and Beaumont, Texas. Guess what i'll be doing? Helping out my uncle and aunt who are bee keepers. Joy. All well, I'm getting paid for it.^^

   I so happy!
I so happy, I could go run up to someone and hug them. O.o ok, maybe i won't do that. Anyways, I got 1st chair in my band class (best of the flutes!) and I got accepted into NJHS (National Junior Honors Society)! Yay for me! Oh, and the picture of Hiei shirtless is from my friend KagomeInuyashasit,I let her on my account, and look what she does. All well, I like that picture! Hiei-san! ^^

   Hola
Hola people's, just saw Van Helsing, very good movie, but if you take away the special effcts, it would be lame. Good plot though, very cool effcts. If you look closly, you could see they took parts of other movies and put them in it.
