Hey guys, sorry I've been gone for so long, it's been real hectic 'round here at home. I've been running this way and that and it's just not working out. School and band have just been crazy, mostly school though.

Had Mock Regionals last night. Was at school litterally all day. Didn't get to leave till 8:30 pm. >< The only reason I want to be at school for so long is band, not stuck in a room with 40 other flutes to see how well we would do at Region right now. I got last chair, go figure. Knew I would, so I'm notin the least dissapointed. After all, I'm only trying out since it's a requirment for the letterman jacket and I'm hellbent on getting one. Also had some Professors from Stephan F. Austin University come in today after school to perform as a Wood Wind Quintet (plus horn and Alto Sax) and help us out on Region music. That REALLY helped me, got quite a few good tips from that.

School's basically gone straight to hell for me. Next week is Thanksgiving break, so of course: Mid terms! My new favorite sign: torture. Used to be immature, but because of this week, torture. If you wish to know how to do these signs (in sign language), ask me and I shall PM you how to. Had to do a Pre-AP English project all last second pretty much. Let me tell you: do NOT allow me to get sleep deprived and stressed, or else I WILL be homicidial more than likely.><'''''' Those two do not mix well with me. Stress never mixes well, but sleep deprivition, which means I'm grumpy anyways, just doesn't go too well.

Ok, if you managed to do through that, than here's a cookie for you. *hands you a cookie* ^^ Oh, and I promise, next post'll have the Halloween picture of me, though it'll also have my boyfriend in it, so pay no mind to him. XD Haha, can't ya just see the love? Lol.

*sigh* Well, we didn't make state, but we did make Area Finals! That makes it twice in a row we've made Area Finals! Woot! We came very close to making it to State though, we got 5th place. But you know what? We beat a band that's been going to state ever since it was available! Which is about 17 times now for them. O.o And we've only done this for 4 years! Go Central Brigade, go Central Brigade, go Central Brigade! ^^ But yeah, I had fun there, even though I knew we weren't gonna go to State because we were up against the powerhouses: Keller and Northwest. Their shows we awesome, I'll give them that. I just can't believe we beat a school that won't go to state for the first time! It's bloody amazing! O.o

Though I will hate riding an all girl bus for now on. I got the PMSing bus, and boy did I want to shoot those girls sooooooooo badly. If we didn't watch the movie they wanted, they complain and bitch about it to no end, then talk loudly all through it. And you know what? It was all the "popular girls" in our band. >< I HATE them!!!! Sure, some of them can be nice, but other wise they're just stuck up and tend to be air heads and want it their way, otherwise they'll make the others suffer. >< Sorry, I had to rant there. It was comin' either way. And they made us watch Poseidon while everyone was trying to get some sleep. >< Ick, it made me wanna hurl so badly that I had to gulp down a sprite just so I wouldn't. ><

Since you guys have asked, I'll post a picture of me in my Halloween costume. If anyone wants, they can draw me in it after they've seen the picture, just be sure to let me know and let me see it, 'ight? =^^= Thankfully it'll look nothing like I normally do since it's a dress and I'll be wearing make-up with it, deffinatly not me. Happy Halloween!! Muahahahahahaha........

Well, yesterday was the Region marching contest. And you know what? We're going to Odessa for the Area contest! Woot! At the Region contest we managed to get straight 1's! For all of you who don't know, that's the best you can get on a score. Though I'm sure we would've gotten better comments if it hadn't been so darn windy yesterday. One of the judges even said he'd like to see our colorgaurd on a calm day. Not much difference except they can actually catch their flags/rifles/sabers. >< Yeah, our colorgaurd sucks in my opinion. XP But the band rocks! HA! Ok, enough of the egotistic me.

It actually feels like autumn here. It's friggen amazing. O.o It's ususally around the 80's/70's right now, but it's more like in the 50's today. *grabs a blanket* I'm staying inside where it's nice and warm dangit! Maybe we'll actually have a cool Halloween. *shrugs* Who knows.

Speaking of Halloween, what are you guys doing? Dressing up and going to parties or trick-or-treating? Let me know, and if you're gonna dress up, tell me what you're gonna be! I don't know yet myself, but I'm thinking of being Dark Lili, it's a deep red dress that's kinda medieval looking.

Well, yesterday was yet another marching compeition. Didn't do so hot this time though. Got 12th out of 13. >< But I will say, I got to see Hebron go, and they had THE coolest show. It was DDR!!!! It was so awesome! At one point the colorgaurd brought these boards that had the arrows on them and the whole band was yelling out "Front, Back, Left, Right" and moving their feet as they did, doing all sorts of combo's. I swear, they got the loudest reaction from the audience. That was the coolest theme I've ever seen. I also got to see Marcus, but they had so many props that you were just watching that and the colorguard instead of the band. Their show was under the sea themed, and I will say, their colorgaurd was cute when they had these huge lobster claws and moved around like lobsters and such. That was cute. But otherwise it was all about the props. But this competition doesn't really matter, it was just to get judged to help us improve. Next week is what matters since that's what determine's if we go to region in Odessa, Texas. I'm sure Ace is the only who knows how far that is, but going from DFW to Odessa is about a 6 hour drive. ><''''' Fun fun.


Fall break is over for us. Dang. Oh well, gotta start back to school at some time. That was the last fall break I'll ever get since they're gonna change the schedule for us to start later in the school year. Great. You wanna know how big of a band nerd I am? Most of my break was spent in band practice. XD I got to go get solo UIL music, and found some great pieces to work on for Flute Choir if we do that again. Hopefully we will, that was so much fun.

Yeah, my life's exciting, not really. XP At least I'm not dead in a ditch!

Yesterday was my first marching competition of the season. And guess what? WE GOT 2ND PLACE!!!!!! *does a victory dance* Oh yeah, we're goooooooodddd. ^^ And you know what? Last year at the same competition, we got 14th out of 16. Think we did better? XP But I'm sooooo friggen happy, I could just go bounce off the walls if I could.....but I can't. Oh well, I'll just stick to being nearly sugar-high happy. =^^=

Yesterday I also got the new Evanescence CD, and it's friggen awesome. I love it. One of my favorite's on there is the song of the day, up on my subject thingy if you cared to read the lyrics.

Oh, and I've FINALLY got a place to put up my art. Sorry, it's not on here, sadly. I don't know how to resize my art to fit into the MyO space, or if I ever do, it's too big, so I got a deviantART account. Here's the site: http://archdemonyami.deviantart.com/

Well, it's finals week. Yay. *enter sarcasm here* But next week is fall break and Thursday we get out early and don't have school on Friday, so it's all good. But like that matter's to band. Psh, I have practice and flute sectionals. Buuuuuuuuttttt.....our first competition is this Saturday! Woot! I can't wait! We're a lot more ahead of last year, so hopefully we'll do much better this year. Last year we didn't even have all four songs down. This year we have all four songs AND some visuals. ^^ Woot! Speaking of visuals, we just did a new one where I swear they teach us ballet. Ok, in Taxi Driver (our 2nd song), there's a Saxophone Quartet at the beginning and the rest of the band turns to face backfield. Well, on different count-off's ((sorry, this is in band terms, you don't understand, it's ok)) we move our right leg out and lean towards it, while our right hand goes up in the air and drifts to our side. Ballet much? One of our directors said to envision the Quartet in tutu's. *cracks up laughing* That would be great, especially since 2 of them are guys. ^^ But yeah, I feel like a pretty ballerina. ^_~

What do ya'll think of the new theme? I thought since it's Halloween time, might as well go with something with the holiday's. It's Trinity Blood, a new anime based on Vampires. ^^ If you haven't seen it yet and you like bloody things and Vampires, I deffinatly recommend it. Oh, and I put up new quotes, so go take a looky at those if ya wish.

Ok, I have to get this out of my system. I went to go watch a play my school was doing on Saturday. It's called "Much Ado About Nothing" by Shakespear. IT was really good. But what got me was at the end, the head drama teacher came out and asked for his girlfriend to come up on the stage. He gave her some red roses and said Happy 2 Year Anniversary. (how cute, he actually remembered! XD) And not only that, but right there on the stage, in front of everyone, he proposed to her. It was so adorable! And yet something he'd do. Of course she said "yes", but I'll remember that for quite a while. =^^=

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, I've been very busy. High School and marching band leave me next to nothing with social life and what-not, so I'm really sorry. *bows*

Anywho, yesterday was quite eventfull. I got to go watch the Texas Tech marching band practice for an hour. They have 440 people on their band!!! IT'S HUGE!!! For those of you who can't possibly think how big that is, they take up the ENTIRE football field. And for those who do know, they have 24 Tubas, only 5 pit members, 20 some-odd piccolo's (there might've been flutes, but I only saw pic's.) and I don't know how many other instruments I saw out there. But they did have a butt-load of trumpets, I will say. They were playing songs from Earth, Wind, and Fire, which if you don't know, is an old funk music band. At times they would stop marching and break out dancing, it was great. And the tubas, watching sousaphone's bop around is so hilarious. And the Sousaphone's actually RAN onto the field! Every marching band nerd knows they don't do that! But they did! And the two marimba players would start dancing, it was great.

Yesterday I also had my birthday party. Now, my 16th birthday isn't officially till Tuesday, but yet I had my closest friend think it was actually my birthday. >< Loser much? But we had fun. Especially since I made brownies, and one of my friends enarly ate a whole tray of them. O.o Man were people sugar high. It was the funniest thing ever! We watched a few movies then the last thirty minutes hung out while we waited for their parents to come pick them up. But I will say, my friends + lotsa sugar = free entertainment. ^^

Friday was my school's first football game, and our homecoming. (And I would like to say, 1st OFFICIAL homecoming) We actually won! We won 28-14. This is actually amazing since last year we only won 3 games. Pretty sad huh? So right now, it looks like it's off to a good start. But if I have to play "You'll be in my heart" from Tarzan ever again, I might scream. We had to play that for the Homecoming court, and boy did it ever SUCK! We had to keep repeating back to a certain measure in the song, and apparently people would forget that and stop right in the middle of it. >< Morons! Learn to listen why don't ya?!?! But I'm happy, we get to play Pirates of the Carribbean in the stands! (Yes Inu-san, the very song you have on your site, that's what we play ^^) And of course, I'm the Candy Queen once again. I bring candy for the whole band every game, and pass it out during 3rd quarter since we have it off. I'm everyone's friend when I pass it out, let me tell ya. ^~

On Tuesday me and Kinoki are going to present an ASL project. What we're doing is picking out a "school appropriate" song and lip-synching to it and acting it out. No, we're not signing. We chose "Wanted" by Bon Jovi and we're gonna act like we're playing guitars to it. She's gonna be on the acoustic guitar and I'm gonna be on Kuroneko's electric since I don't play guitar. I just have to get used to "playing" a left-handed guitar since I'm right-handed, feels kinda weird, but oh well. We managed to switch off verses and sing the chorus together so that we sing the exact same amount. Not to mention we made it seem like we're competing against each other while we're playing and singing. ^^

9 more days till my birthday!!! Me and Kitty were planning on combining our birthday parties together this coming weekend since our birthday's are only a few days apart. We originally wanted to go see Fullmetal Alchemist: the Movie, but it's no longer out around here. Which sucks major ass. I have to tell her and see what we'll do instead. >< But I turn sweet 16 soon. Woot! ^^ Oh, and here's something scary: I'm learning how to drive. *gasp* Yes, that's right, better watch out! Haha. =^^=

Did ya'll watch Blood Trinity or Bleach last night? They were awesome! My dad got me a DVD that has episodes and trailers for different animes not here yet except for Blood Trinity, I can't wait to watch it! Anywho, if ya'll watched 'em, tell me what ya'll thought.

   Steve Irwin......
I'm sure most of you already know this, but Steve Irwin, the beloved Crocodile Hunter, has died due to a stingray barb in the chest. He was doing a shoot for a show he was doing with his daughter Bindi and was too close to a Stingray and it went on the defensive (more than likely) and got him in the chest (on the heart). I've watched his shows and movie for as long as I can remember (probably when they first came out), and it's just a huge shock to learn that he died from what he loved doing. Irony at it's best, right?

Steve Irwin: always loved, and never forgotten.

Wow, my day's actually been eventful. And kinda the week as well. Today at lunch I nearly hit one of my guy friends in the nuts 'cause he was playing with my hair and I was trying to hit him with a water bottle without turning around. Just barely missed it. His face was PRICELESS when I turned around. Then during biology we got to "hide" paper moths we decorated to try how well we could camouflage them into anything around the room. And during ASL it was hard not to laugh. We were learning signs for colors and come of the guys would do these things that just made one crack up. And then one of my teachers (I have 2 ASL teachers), who's actually deaf, just gives these over-exaggerated facial expressions that make the whole class crack up.

In band we've got the whole opener down. Woot! Now if I can just get my right shoulder to go back farther on one part.....it's friggen' annoying when I'm trying to keep instep and what-not when I'm at an awkward position to march. >< Not fun. But we already have some visual stuff going into the show, so that's great. If anyone cares to know what we're playing, here's the lineup: North by Northwest, Taxi Driver, Vertigo, and Psycho. We're playing the theme's to them all. And yes, they're all Hitchcok (no clue if that's spelled right) movies.

Gah, I had to get a cavity filled today. Not fun. >< Now half my face is numb. Though it is fun to mess with my lip since it feels weird. Half of it feels huge while the other half feels normal. Those of you who've gotten a cavity filled know what I'm talking about. Free entertainment!
