I made it!!!! We had re-tryouts on Thursday for Varsity Marching Band, and I made it! Woot! I have a spot now! But my friend Kitsune didn't make it. She plays Clarinet. But what's funny, as in ironically funny, the guy EVERYONE hates and just happens to be a very horrible marcher made it. How? I don't know. But Kitsune is furious about it. We all agreed that's the person she's gonna challenge for a spot. She'd better get it seeing as the guy is absolutly horrible and will more than likely end up getting us short points in contest because of it. ><

Started school on Wednesday. Nothing great, I know where all my classes are, and I have friends in all of them, so it's all good. I'm even taking ASL (American Sign Language) this year. Even though I already know quite a bit, I need to take it anyways. Why? I'm around deaf people alot, so it's much more useful to me than Spanish, French, German, and whatever else they offer. I'll actually need this, and I know most students can say that since most take a language because you need a Foreign Language credit to graduate.

Ooooooohhhhhhhh, looks like it's actually gonna RAIN here. God, it hasn't rained since the 4th of July! We need it!

Yesterday, me and my friends Kitsune and Ne Ne went to the Family Values concert. It was so cool! Though, I will say, I hate that it had to be 105 degrees and the concert to be at 2. >< Not fun. But hey, it was totally worth it. We didn't stay for the whole concert, just wanted to basically see the nobody's. The bands we got to see: Bullets & Octane, Deadsy, Bury Your Dead, Deadsy, Dir En Grey, and Flyleaf. I didn't really like Bullets & Octane and Bury Your Dead. The rest I LOVED!!!! Deadsy is pretty much a brand new band with their album coming out on the 22nd, but I'm deffinatly gonna buy it when it comes out. Dir En Grey was awesome! Though you could hardly make out what Kyo-san was singing seeing as he was mostly yelling. Apparently he had just gotten out of hospital not too long ago, like a few days actually. Soemthing with his throaght. Yet he was up there screaming up a storm. And thrashing around. They were supposed to be having a bloody kinda thing goin' on, but I didn't see any blood. But they did do this thing with a bucket where one of the guys took a bucket of water, dumped some on him and then the rest on the audience, and then put it on his head for a bit. Very......odd. Flyleaf was awesome! Great local band, I can tell you that. ^^ I almost got to see Stone Sour, but we left then 'cause Kitsune and Ne Ne had just gotten to meet Dir En Grey (they both bought an audographed CD) and we'd gotten to see everyone we wanted to, so we left. Though I would've liked to see Stone Sour, but I only know one song by them, so it wasn't a huge loss. We saw two people we knew from band, and apparently one of my other friends was there, but I never saw her. Small world, no?

During Bury Your Dead, a moshpit broke out about 12 feet away from us. I didn't need to move to watch, I just turned my head! Lots of people got up to go watch/join in, but we didn't. We're smart cookies. ^^ I mostly people-watched. There's alot of very interesting people that went. Lots of potheads as well. All the people smoking it gave me the munchies even though I wasn't the one smoking it! (I don't do that shit. Clean as a whistle! ^^) Saw lots of gay girls as well. No gay guys, just gay girls. Weird, no? Lots of dressed up JRockers as well. That was interesting. Felt sorry for them though, seeing as how hot it was and all the black they were wearing. But hey, that was their choice.

Did auditions for Marching Band for Varsity spots.

Didn't make it.

They're having re-done's on the 10th, which I'm deffinatly gonna do and hopefully earn a spot. I refuse to be an alternate. I was on Varsity last year, and so I'll be on Varsity my whole time in band, dammit! At least, I'm hoping. Hell, if I don't make it the 2nd go around, I'll just be the leader of the alternates. I've already been practicing for section leader for next year. ^_~

I've gotten taller!!!! Today was "Super Saturday" for band, basically got registered and fitted and got all the stuff for marching band ordered and what-not. The bib we have to wear underneath the jacket that I had last year was a little too short for me, meaning I actually grew!!!! Woot! Ok, I'm sure you're thinking: Ok, this chich has lost her mind, she's getting excited over growing maybe an inch or so. Well, when you've been 5'2" for years and everyone is suddenly taller than you (I used to be the tallest girl in my class), then you get excited over growing an inch. ^^

Band camp has been....fun yet blah. We've just done fundamental's (marching foreward and backward so far) and we've memorized the opener (which is required to try-out for varsity band). We got to play with the whole band yesterday. You know you've got a too big band when you can't fit everyone in the band hall to play, or the stage. We had to go play outside to have everyone there. Sad, no? My poor flute, it had to endure Texas humidity. >< Not good for the pads, let me tell you. But when I heard the opener, oh it was great. (Though I think I went temporarily half-deaf for awhile since I was right behind the drum-line, more specifically, the snare's) This year it's all Hitchcock (I think I spelled that right) movies for a theme. We're playing: North by Northwest, Taxi Driver, Vertigo, and Psycho. ^^ Creepy......but sooooo cool.

School starts soon. Yay. >< There's a lot of Freshman this year. And I mean A LOT!!!! My school is beyond the number of students it's supposed to hold, and this is only the 4th year it's been open. That's pretty bad. I'm hoping they're gonna change the boundary lines soon. Hopefully by next year.

   Well, look who's back, back in black!
Yep, I'm home! Woot! Finally! No more work! No more bees!.....for now.... XP But yes, I'm happy to be back.

Band camp starts this Wednesday. Woot! Yes, the band nerd is gonna be jumping up and down to go torture herself in the blistering Texas heat while having section leaders and band directors barking orders at her wihle she's utterly miserable. What fun, right? XD That, and having, oh, 200+ people in band this year. Oh yeah, fun. Too many dang Freshman! >< And I thought MY graduating class was big! Oh no! It's NOTHING compared to the one coming in. Damn.

To Wolfie: You stupid wolf! How could you you do that?!? Anyways, you'll have to tell me about Boston on Wednesday. And you can give me the letter then. And gosh darnit, you need to update your site since you're back on here! >< Stupid wolf, cat's are better. =^^=

Had fun over the weekend. On Saturday me and my cousins went to a trade show and went shopping. I got a hemp bracelet with hematite and silver beads, a honey dew melon candle, a Pepsi cap necklace, and a surprise for Kuroneko. I'm not gonna say what it is 'cause I don't know if he looks at this. I'll tell ya'll after I give it to him. ^_~ The lady who made the hemp bracelet was awesome! She was really really hyper, and had taken an energy pill, so was EXTRA hyper, and was just free entertainment. It looked like was gonna rain and she said: "I'll get this all put up so fast, it'll be like 'Fwoosh!' and you'll be like, 'What the hell happened?'." Yeah, and they had "Chinese fighting bottles", which was actually these glass bottles they had hanging up and where decorated and two of the lady's kept knocking into them, and said "it only hurts the first two times. After that, it's like 'woa.....didn't see that.'" XP My cousins knew the people at the candle booth, so I got a discount. Sweeeeeeettttt!!!!! And the lady was so cool! She's from Scotland, and had this really nice accent. Everyone just loved to hear her talk, we loved her accent so much. And she had these really cool flip-flops that I want. They're sticky on the bottom, so you don't need to have the piece that goes between your toes, it just sticks to the bottom of your feet! It's like goin' barefoot, only with padding on the bottom. ^_~

Afterwards we went to my cousins house and went swimming and threw off fireworks. Pyromaniac on ze loose! Yeah, I got to throw off quite a few fireworks. And my cousins boyfriend took a Roman Candle and stuck it between his legs right underneath his crotch and lit it. My cousin took a picture of it right when one of the shots went off, and let's just say she was really good timing. If you can picture it, you should know what it looks like. Quite perverted, yet really funny and great at the same time.

So yeah, I'll be home in about 2 weeks. Woot! Just thought I'd tell ya'll that.

Guess what? I'm a alive!!!!! But deformed. >< Got stung twice yesterday, and twice AGAIN today. My left hand is swollen and my right forearm has a huge bumb on it. >< I'm deformed. Oh well. One of the guys I used to work with just up and left yesterday. No reason. He said he "threw up and left". B.S. He just left for no reason other than he couldn't handle the job. Haha, his ass got FIRED!!!!! =^^= Good riddance. But we got a new guy who is sooooooo much better, and everything runs much smoother with him on the job. Woot!

Ok, now the real reason why I'm updating. J.K Rowling says that in the last book of HP, two of the main characters die. I don't think it's Harry since I remember something she said about wanting to continue with something like a side-story later on with Harry in it. I'd say if anything, it's Ron and Hermione. They're the only other main characters in it if you don't count the teachers or Neville. And Dumbledore may not even be dead, since you have to mean it when you say "Avada Kadavera". Who knows, we'll see in the next book. (and yes, I am that much of a geek to know this stuff ^~) Ron could die just from being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which he seems to have a habit of doing. That, or he'll do something to save Harry. And Hermione, well, she could just somehow get herself in trouble and end up dead. But then again, there's also Hagrid, and he's pretty much a main character as well. Hmmmmm......many things to dwell on before the book comes out next year. What do ya'll think?

Thought I'd come by to say I'm still alive. Haven't gotten any stings lately. I've only gotten 3 as of yet, so I think I'm doin' good. This Saturday I'm leaving to go home for a few days for 4th of July. I'm hoping to go see the fireworks with Kuroneko, though with how things have been back home, I might not get that. They've been really strict on the fireworks policy at home, so I might have to travel to a Rangers game (which I don't mind, or I'll go find a place near the park they play at) to watch their annual fireworks show. They ALWAYS have foreworks no matter what! So, we'll see.

There's new houses going up behind my grandparents house. There used to be a really nice, dense forest back there. They used to have a few hives of bees back there and you couldn't see past them because of the forest. Now I can see clear across where they used to be and it's really strange. At first they were gonna put up houses for the Habitat for Humanity since this is an area that Hurricane Rita hit pretty badly, but now they say it's gonna be 150 dollar houses, so I have no clue. Either way, it's really strange to see the forest gone. To be quite honest, I hate it gone. Call me a tree hugger if you so wish, but I hate to see the destruction of trees and forests for houses that might not ever be bought. It's just a waste of nature.

Hello one and all! Work's been blah lately. Monday is probably gonna be a short day since the guys didn't bring in very many stacks, so that'll be great. Wednesday and Thursday I'm not working since they're bottling, and what I do, they can't have me working while they do that. Yay, two days off! Paycheck will be smaller, but that's a small price to pay for getting two days off. ^^ Hey, I do physical labor that doesn't exactly like my body, especially with bees flying around my head. You'd like the two days off as well!

Saw the movie "Cars" today. Cute movie, I really liked it. Probably give it a ....7 out of 10. It's mostly a teen/adult movie, at least in my opinion. And if you like NASCAR, then you'll love it. I don't, I prefer Hockey or Baseball over NASCAR anysay, but I still liked the movie. Can't wait to see "Garfield: Tail of Two Kitties" or "Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Mans Treasure". That last one is gonna be so great! I can already tell!

Got my last book for my summer reading for school: Guns, Germs, and Steel. >< It's so thick! Not like I mind that, I like thick books; but not for school! >< Ugh, and I was hoping to get through my summer reading really quickly so I could read whatever I wanted! Ugh, this'll be awhile since I'm currently reading my second summer reading book: The Complete Plays of Sohpocles. I finished Things Fall Apart last week. So yeah. Not. ><

Hey guys, or should I say, those who bother to drop by and read this thing. Yeah, not comments for 2 posts. Thanks. Glad to know I'm loved. ><

Well, works been blah, not a good day today. We had a power outage for a bit, and then 3 things become overflooded with honey all at the same time, and 2 of our guys are sick. >< Joyous day. I'm just hoping I don't get sick since there's a virus going around the place I work at, so I'm just hoping I don't get it. >< Got paid last week. Got over $200!!!! Woot woot! I've never gotten that much at one time! ^^ Yeah, I'm gonna be gettin' me that '96 Probe dangit! Next week I'm not working Wednesday and Thursday since they're bottling and we can't extract the honey while they bottle. Smaller pay check since I only get paid for the days/hours I work, but I get 2 days off, and my back'll agree with me that I need it. ^~ Yeah, my back's been killer lately. But it gets that way when I'm standing straight for a long time.

I've been missing all my friends lately, especially Kuroneko. I know I've never told ya'll since I'm not huge about telling about somethings, but him and I are basically boyfriend and girlfriend right now, though not offically till my birthday since I'm not allowed to date till I'm 16. So yeah, you can tell why I'd miss him the most. First guy who's actually captured just about all of my heart. Go figure, right? =^^=
