"Give me something I desire..."
"Fuel" by Metallica, the thing I desire is money!!!!!
Ok my lovely myO friends who bother to read and comment, I'm coming at you from my laptop!!!!! Yeah, that's right, Yami's got a laptop! Woot woot! And it was free!!!! Free's good, more free's better. ^^ A lady at my mum's work gave to me saying "It would either go to you or the trash". O.o MINE!!!!!! Haha, yeah, I've been wanting one for over a year now, and I finally get it! ^^ Yep, I'm one happy demon kitty right now. ^^
Started work at the honey house today. >< Didn't get stung, but there weren't many bees today anyways. But the guys brought in a butt load today, so that's gonna be glorious tomorrow. NOT. ><''''''' Hopefully they aren't too bad though. For those who don't know, this is my third year working at my Uncle and Aunt's bee farm. Fun fun, right? Yeah, if you like having bees flying around you and pissing you off every now and then and maybe stinging ya sure, then this is the job for you! Ha, I'm only in it 'cause it's a guranteed job for me, I get a raise every time I come back for the summer, and I need the money to buy a car. Yeah, that's right, a C-A-R. '96 Toyota Probe (sp?) to be exact. ^^ At least that's what I'm hoping to get.
Oh, and just a note to all of you: my laptop won't allow me to comment on ya'lls sites/art, so know that I am coming by ya'lls sites, it's just my laptop won't allow me to leave any comments what so ever for who-knows-what reason. ><'''''

WE GOT A 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FLUTE CHOIR GOT A 2 AT STATE UIL!!!!!!! For those of you who aren't in band (and for shame on you, 'cause band rocks) that's really good. Especially good for us since we had Jerry Junkin, the best of the best of conductors who just happens to teach over in UTA (University of Texas in Arlington), as our judge and he gave out mostly 3's and only a single 1. So we did extremely well. ^^ But I did learn something going there: walking around for 4 1/2 hours in heels on the UT campus is not fun. Especially since there's so many fargen HILLS! >< And don't say, "Oh, you should've worn tennis shoes instead." I couldn't. We had all our stuff on the bus and since we arrived at 9ish in the morning and didn't perform till 2:40, we had to walk around all dressed up and with our flutes till we performed. So don't even bother saying it. But one thing that was really funny is that when me, Kitty, and Rini went into a University Co-Op store, we went up to the art room and I swear Kitty was drooling over EVERYTHING. She's an art fanatic. It probably took everything she had in her not to buy 1 of everything in that store. =^^=
Oh, and another cool thing: me, Kitty, And Rini had a suite for a room!!!!! Yeah I know, this may seems stupid, but I've never EVER in my life been in a suite before, so it was friggen awesome! And it came with a balcony too! Though there was really nothing to view except the highway. >< But hey, it was a huge suite, we were exstatic to say the least. ^^

"Leaving the memories behind me....."
"The spirit never dies" by Masterplan. Awesome AMV of this on Youtube, got hooked on this song 'cause of Toki. ^^'''''
*chants* I'm out of school, I'm out of school!!!! Woot! This is the end of my Freshman year, can you beleive it? Where did the time go? It went flyin' out the window, that's where! But did I HAVE to have algebra on my last day though? I mean, I don't want to see my ever so hated algebra teacher on my last day of school! C'mon! ><'''''' Oh well, I'll never see her ever again! Woot!
Tomorrow I leave for Austin for State UIL with Flute Choir. Woot! I can't wait! We're gonna be compteting, but also having some fun by going to Main Event and getting to walk around the UT campus (that's where the competition is at). I've been to Austin before, but I never got to go to the UT campus. Kitty went and got everyone in the flute choir these little flute keychains that are so cool, but I'm afraid to hang it from anything since it's so delicate and nice, and I have a tendancy to break just about any keychain I have that hangs from my backpack, so I have no clue where to put it. *shrugs* Oh well, maybe I can wait to put it on my key chain for when I get a car. ^_~
I am, once again, leaving for work over the summer. Yeah, it's back to the bee farm for me. Great. *enter sarcasm here* But it'll be interesting since me and my cousin will be the only girls working there. Heh, mostly guys in an almost so-boring-I'd-do-something-so-stupid-just-to-get-entertainment enviroment shall be quite interesting indeed.
Monday I'm having my annual swim party. Woot! I invited a butt-load of people this year, so this is going to get interesting, though I pretty much know a few won't be able to come. Ah well, there's always those few.

"Oh we're still so young, Desperate for attention..."
"The only difference between martydom and suicide is press coverage" by Panic! at the disco, the only about bands, woot!
Hey ya'll! No, I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth, sorry. I've just been blah and was too lazy to update lately. How do ya'll like my new theme? I decided that since I'll be gone for about 2 months soon, I might as well make it summeryish. Yes, that's a technical term. I also changed the quotes, so if you want to, go read 'em. Oh! And if you guys really love me (though I'm sure only one person will do this for me, but still....) I put up a new fanfiction on my ff.net site (link is up there^), so would you guys read it and review? Please? I hardly get any reviews at all, so I practically have to beg for them now. ><''''''
I can't wait for next Thursday! That's when I get out of school!!! Woot! No more being a "fishy", I'll be a sophomore! I think we call 'em "Starfish" but I'm not sure. *shrugs* But still, I'm getting up there! And this year will probably be the last year for me to leave home over the summer for work till I graduate, then it's another matter. Right after school ends, I'm leaving for 2 days to go to Austin, Texas for State UIL for Flute Choir. =^^= Woot!
Ok, this is a warning: if you do not watch Gray's Anatomy or haven't seen the season finale, please disregared the following paragraph.
They killed off Denny!!!!! *cries* He was one of my favorite characters too! And after he proposed to Izzy! That was so sweet, how he proposed to her and such. *gags* Gag me with a wooden spoon, please. Anywho, I had a feeling they were gonna kill him off anyways, but still!!! And now Izzy quit. >< She was stupid in the first place to go and cut his L-vac thingy so that they had to use a hand-pumped heart pump. Completely stupid if you ask me. And, of course, the thing between Meredith and Shepard, it ain't going away any time soon I bet. It was always there anyways. Oh, and have you noticed how the girls always add "Mc" in front of a nickname they give hot guys? McDreamy, McSteamy, and now McVet. >< Kinda stands out. Lol. Though I really like McSteamy, he was hot! Anywho....that was one hell of a finale!
And now I am done ramapaging about a show I watch. That's probably one of the few times I'll do that, unless it has to do with anime, then it's totally different. ^_~
Haven't been doing anything in band for the past three days. It's been really pissing me off since I love to practice, but when they just blow us off since I'm in bottom band, I just wanna strangle someone, manly the head director since just about everyone else does too! But we're probably gonna get the show music for next years marching season tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be going through that now. I'm gonna practice so hard on that 'cause I want to keep my spot in the Varsity marching band (the ones that march and aren't in the alternate box). And since they've already told us that tog get a spot you have to march foreward while playing the opener from memory, you betcha I'm gonna memorize that thing! And for all you non-band people; memorizing something in a short while while having to march isn't exactly easy.

Lucy I'm home!!!!
Hey ya'll!!! I'm baaa-aack!!! Did ya miss me? Probably not since I was only gone for 4 days, not counting monday since I was here, just didn't feel like posting anything. Anyways, South Padre was friggen awesome!!! Let me tell ya'll all about it.
Thursday: about a 10 hour drive from where I live to South Padre Island. Not fun. Watched about 3-4 movies, 2 of which were musicals. >< Went to a local seafood resteraunt. Got to try crab. Mmmmmmmm.....
Friday: We were going to go to Schiltterbahn, but apparently they close on Fridays, so we ended up going to the beach. Got kicked off the beack due to it being a red flag day (high winds, strong current) and the current was bringing in the jelly fish. Luckily no one got stung. At some points I could hardly stand because the current was so strong. That, added with me probably being one of the shortest people on the trip added up to it probably. >< I HATE being short. Anyways....went on a dolphin watch. I saw 9 dolphins! 2 of them follwed our boat and got really close, maybe 5-6 feet away at the closest. Went to a hypnotize dinner thing. One of my roomates ended up being hypnotized. It was so funny! She was dancing, acting like a fighter pilot (her nickname was lightening bolt. Any possiblity she came up with that from our mascot? Maybe....), hula dancing, "driving" a car, acting like it was really cold and clinging on to this guy that was sitting next to her, and then acting like someone smelled badly (at first it was supposed to be the person next to them, then they realize it's them), and then had a dancing contest to which my roomates group won. *laughs* She didn't remember a thing afterwards, but she kept saying after we told what happened and she watched the taped video: "How could you let me dance in front of all those people?!" (there were at least 6 other schools there) Lol, we had no control over it chick, sorry.
Saturday: Contest at 10-ish in the morning. Find out that both Symphonic/concert band (we were combined since we had such a small group) and Wind Ensamble got 2's. Not bad really. Some of the flutes wanted to shoot themselves 'cause they though they did badly. Ch, compared to what we've done in Concert band, we rocked damnit! But whatever. I fell asleep during the Wind Ensambles purformance since I was tired and they were playing long prettyful music that just lulls you to sleep. Had a nice little cat nap there. ^~ Went to Schlitterbahn afterwards for 5 hours. Got a nice tan if I do say so myself. ^~ What's sad is we had to wear those stupid bracelets you get at water parks so they know you're a paying customer and I got a tan line from that. You can see how white I was before I got the tan. ><'''''' Also got awards at Schlitterbahn afterwards. Eh, that was actually quite boring. The girls all wanted to go dancing, so they left their purses with the chaperones. Bad idea. They dug through the purses and took out the cameras/camera phones and took random pictures. You can't trust the band parents at my school apparently. Lol. =^^= Wonder if anyone had noticed yet...
Sunday: Another 10 hour drive back. More movies and boringness. I am NOT watching a movie for at least a month. >< I'm sick and tired of movies, especially musicals.
Well, that's pretty much all that happened. Of course, I bought souveniers for my friends. ^~ Got March-a-thon this saturday. Fun fun. Actually, they really are fun, it's just tedious to walk around alot and attempt to play music along with the 8th graders. Beleive me, I was an 8th grader last year, it was tedious. And this coming Friday is the percussion concert. That's gonna rock!!! I saw the one last year and was really impressed, so I can't wait to see this years. ^~ Next friday is the Spring Concert. All I know for sure of what we're playing is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. ^~ *jumps up and down* The inner Star Wars geek in me is exstatic. As the other one....no clue. We have a little more than a week, and we only have 1 piece to do. >< And I'm going to kill the trumpets and clarinets for it too. (don't worry Liana, I like trumpets, it's just ours absolutly SUCK!) The clarinets are killing a few parts of Star Wars while the trumpets can't seem to get the Darth Vador theme down. >< And we played that during marching season in the stands too!!!!! *hits head against keyboard* Can I kill them? Please?!?!?!?! At least beat them to a bloody pulp? *groan*

"I ain't leaving till they throw me out...."
"Here for the party" by Gretchin Wilson. Yes I listen to country, that a problem?
I had so much fun at banquet! Kinoki told me not to do anything "bad". My response: there's no alocohol and I don't have a date, so we're all good. Though I wouldn't drink even if there WAS alcohol, unless it was cheap wine.....but that's another thing. ^~ I should've been the one to tell her that since she had her boyfriend with her. I don't think you need any more description to get an idea of what I mean. ^~
Me and a group of my friends that went managed to get 16 people into one photo shoot, that was really funny. We got Cheyenne to sit on the stool and act as a center piece and we just crowded around her. And for my regular picture, since I went by myself, I got to act like a model! Yeah, the lady wanted to me to do 4 poses, 2 sitting on the stool and 2 standing. The one they printed I call the "sexy pose" 'cause I'm leaning to the side with my legs crossed, and my dress shows off enough leg without having my legs crossed and crossing them showed off even more. =^^= I'm so sexy, lol. But Kinoki did the most hilarious thing for her photos. Ok, her and boyfriend were about to get their picture done, and she was about to sit down on the stool when she completely missed it, sending both her and the stool crashing to the ground! She fell on her butt and started laughing while the stool crashed into this procelian (sp?) thing in the background that was holding the plant! Everyone watching just bursted into uncontrollable laughter, it was so funny! Thank god I had my pictures done right before hers so that I was the last one with that thing in the background. ^~ It's all about the timing people.
And of course I did some dancing. Though I can't dance to save my life, I danced anyways. Who cares? But one of my friends, who's probably the shortest person there, was just everywhere! She's extremely hyper when you get her going, and you could NOT stop her from dancing and bouncing around all over the place. And both me and Rini managed to force our friend "Cripple" (he has really bad knees, which is why we call him that) to dance. How? Well, with Rini pulling on his arm and me pushing his back, we managed to get him out there. And since we had our first annual Prince and Princess of the banquet (you have to remember, this is the first year we've had all 4 grades at my high school, it's a very new school), the song dedicated to the Prince was a classic rock song and he was rockin' out to it and fell on the floor. He's a pretty big guy, but 4 guys managed to pick him up and throw him up in the air. Lol. ^~ And then someone managed to get one of the percussionist guys to body surf. ^~ I wish I was able to get a picture of that, it was so funny. But I'm sure there'll be pictures on the band website, so we'll see.
I'm going to South Padre Island in 4 days!!!! Woot woot! I'll be sure to tell ya'll all about it when I get back from there. I can't wait to go though! Oh, and I put up new music, tell me if it works or not. Thanks!

"We try to hide what we feel inside...."
"Forsaken" by Within Temptation
Thank you to those who supported me. It touches me, really it does. Thank You. *bows deeply*
Anyways, it's raining!!!! Yaynessness!! It was storming last night and the thunder woke me up at around midnight. >< Gah, stupid thunder! Why must you wake me up so darn early?!?! I was tired all day from it, and the fact I had benedryl for my allergies that night was probably a factor, but I doubt it. Kinoki said I looked stoned 'cause I was so tired. And on 4/20 no less! Happy smokers holiday! =^^= No, I don't smoke, and I'm damn proud of it! So there!
TAKS was today. >< Everybody had it. Sophomores and juniors have been testing for the past couple days. Hah, I love being a freshman sometimes, I only take two tests and I had one of them earlyer in the year! Woot woot! Had the math one today, took me a little over an hour. That stuff always takes me very little time. And I always pass! Haha! And yet some people who take all day don't pass at all. O.o Something is wrong with that. But everyone in the building pretty much was done by about 11 o' clock or so.
Tomorrow is band banquet! Woot woot! I can't wait! It'll be so much fun! And for those wondering, no, I'm not taking a date. Why? I want to hang with my friends, and I don't want to have to entertain a date. >< Last time I took a date anywhere, it went badly soooo....I'm on my own. =^^= Ah well, not like I care really. Plus, the only person I know I could take, probably wouldn't want to go.......seeing as he ain't in band. Yes, I like someone. Am I telling ya'll? Probably not, unless we go out, which ain't happenin' till my 16th birthday, so we'll see. ^~
Yami: *coughs* Oww....that one hurt....
Hiei: What's the matter with you?
Yami: Allergies. *coughs again* Crap, not only do I look stoned, my voice sounds like crap and I'm tired. ><
Hiei: And that's a bad thing?
Yami: *glares* *bops him upside the head*
Hiei: Gah! What was that for?!
Yami: 'Cause you're alive, that's why.
Hiei: Hn. Maybe you should just kill me then.
Yami: Don't tempt me. *coughs*
Hiei: Why not? You'll die by coughing so much anyways.
Yami: *glares* Fine. You're on!
Hiei: *smirks* You're too easy to provoke.
Heh, did ya'll miss our little spats/ conversations? Decided to put one in for fun. And I'm not easily to provoke you fargen idiot!!! *chases after Hiei with a rather large mallet*

The best of people always go first...
No, it's not a song. Man I wish there was a really sad looking smily-thingy on here....
I found out today that a girl I knew from last year in my science class died over the weekend due to liver failure. She had diabetes and had checked out of school last month to go into the hospital. She was on a donor list, but never made it. I didn't realize I knew her till about 2nd period and when it finally dawned on me. I didn't cry, but during band I came really close to it since one of the flutes knew her pretty well and was just not in the best of shape. And really, I probably wouldn't have been so affected if I hadn't started thinking: what if that was me? or what if that was one of my best friends/someone in the band? It's just one of those things that makes you really question what you've been doing and really cherish those who are around you. That's the third death we've had this year, which is pretty bad. At least now she's in a better place. Her sister's in my Journalism class, and I'm not expecting to see her back anytime soon.
Just Thought I'd let ya'll know what was going on. Here's a song that goes out to her and her family:
"Our Farewell" by Within Temptation
In my hands
A legacy of memories
I can hear you say my name
I can almost see your smile
Feel the warmth of your embrace
But there is nothing but silence now
Around the one I loved
Is this our farewell?
Sweet darling, you worry too much, my child
See the sadness in your eyes
You are not alone in life
Although you might think that you are
Never thought
This day would come so soon
We had no time to say goodbye
How can the world just carry on?
I feel so lost when you are not by my side
But there's nothing but silence now
Around the one I loved
Is this our farewell?
So sorry your world is tumbling down
I will watch you through these nights
Rest your head and go to sleep
Because my child, this is not our farewell
This is not our farewell
Shnugens
We will never forget you Autumn.

"Getting older but we're still crazy...."
"Friends O' Mine" by Bowling for Soup
Ok, to explain the smily-thingy with the popping out eyes: WE GOT A 1,2,2 IN CONTEST!!!! I kid you not, that's not what I was expecting! I was expecting....2,3,3 or something like that. But we've now dubbed this year to be the year of the one judge preference for band. Why? Nearly got into state marching by one judge; Honors band UIL: all 1's for regular, 1,2,2 in sight reading; Symphonic band UIL: 1,2,2 in regular, all 1's in sight reading; Concert band UIL: 1,2,2. It's the year of the one judge preference!
Yesterday was Kinoki's birthday. Me and her boyfriend "kidnapped" her and went to Laser Quest. There was supposed to be some people meeting us there, but apparently none of them could come. >< We called Kuroneko to go as well, but he got lost and gave up. >< Too stubborn to ask me for a friggen short-cut since I know that area by the back of my hand. Geez...men....can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em. After we played 2 games of LAser Quest, we went to the lake that's near me and Kinoki's houses' and hung out, Kuroneko finally showing up. Saw one of our friends flying kites nearby, got to torment her since she wasn't all the great at trying to get her kite into the air, not helping there was barely a breeze that afternoon. But still, fun to mess with people like that. =^^= I'm such a nice person. Kept getting randomly glomped by Kuroneko. >< Not helping he's exactly one foot taller than me, so it's quite easy for him, especially if my back's turned to him. ><''''''' Got cake and ice cream at the birthday girl's house. Woot woot! That was some good stuff there, let me tell ya. And it wasn't the red velvet cake like last year...the one she messed up on....*laughs* Good times, good times.
I don't have school on Friday, doo-dah doo-dah, I don't have school on friday, oh doo-dah-day! ......Ehm....excuse the randomness, I just had to do that. ^~'''''

"Send shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time...."
"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen If you have not heard this song, then I pity you. Tis one of the greatest classics ever!
What do ya'll think of the new theme change? I know April is so supposed to be all happy and cheery and light colored-ish so....I went the total opposite! Yeah, I'm just weird that way. If you can't tell, it's Integra from Hellsing with all these words like "If the pure are fed upon they shall turn" and "Gates to Hell are arrested" and such. I changed the quotes at the top as well and changed the music, hopefully it works. Tell me if it doesn't please!
Got UIL friday. Oh joyous day. But there's one thing good about it, I get out of 3rd period!!! Yes!!! That's algebra 1 for me so.....I don't get to see the freaky old lady!!! Haha! One of my friends that plays clarinet says he'll dye his hair blonde if we make straight 1's. Guess it's a good thing we more than likely won't since he wouldn't look good blonde. Bbbbbbuuuuuuutttt......one may never know. I'm expecting for highest right now....maybe a 2. But it sounded really weird today since we only have 1 tuba going and he was gone today so it was really weird. All you other band people will probably agree that a band without a tuba (when they normally have one) sounds kinda weird. Since we have the UIL thing during school, I'm just going to wear my concert attire to school but change my shoes since I'm lazy like that. White button-up shirt, nice black pants, and converse. Ain't I fashionable? lol.
Got in trouble today with my mum. My god, Yami got in trouble?! Yep. I've been falling asleep in 2nd period, and that just happens to be my only Pre-AP class this semester and that doesn't really float well with her. Hey, this stupid spring savings thing has got my whole biological clock messed up! I can't help that I fall asleep at about 11 when it feels like 10 and wake up at 6 and it feels like 5. >< NOT MY FAULT! But now I have this little capule thing that has basically a whole can of energy drink packed into it to keep me awake. Boy are my friends gonna love me! Lol. But it got worse. I had a pop quiz in that class over posters we had presented. Guess who fell asleep during the presentation? You guessed it, I did. Oh well, I bet I made at least a passing grade. Hopefully.
The newspaper crew at my school is a new thing called a Literary Magazine. You can send in poems, short stories, songs, any thing of the sort and they'll publish it in there. I think I'll send in a poem or two. ^~ Not like I don't have 63 poems for no reason. Yes, I actually counted them all, 'cause I was bored and curious. Speaking of poems, I wrote one today while listening to the radio and thought I'd share it with you all.
Static on the radio
I remember that day
Listening to the radio as a song came on
Though full of static
I recognize it
It's our song
A sad smile curls my lips
Singing along as the rain poured
Matching the mood perfectly
My heart tears itself up
'Cause you're not here with me
Maybe you're listening to the radio
And hearing the same song
Too bad I can't call you
Since you've run out of minutes
Dancing in my room as the song plays
My partner a Casper version of you
Invisible except to my minds eye
Who cares if anyone sees me?
Sometimes the static makes it hard to understand the lyrics
But it doesn't matter
They're burned into my brain
With a final sweep of my arms
The last chord ringing with static
And it's all over
Except for static
On the radio
I was listening to a sad song by Rascal Flatts when I came up with it. Kinda interesting I guess. Tell me what ya'll think.
