  "Follow" by Breaking Benjamin

I'm so sorry for not being around lately. It's just that last week was 9 week exams and then we had a football game on thursday (bad day since it's during finals) and then friday I had marching practice from 10:45-2:00 and then Saturday we had a marching competition. Now my feet hurt alot, and I have a blister on one of my big toes from my marching shoes. >< Owwww..... And to add to that, we sucked at the competition. Got 12th out of 14 bands. >< Hopefully we'll do better this coming Saturday and have some stuff added in, like special effects (like moving in a domino effect and such) plus we don't have the whole thing set-up yet ('cause my band director is aiming for UIL instead of competitions >< grrr...) and yeah, I'm a little ticked about that.

Since I don't have a whole lot to say, here's a poem for ya'll.

Night Sky

Looking up at the night sky
Many stars twinkle and wink at me
I wonder how looking at the stars
Can make on feel so small
The vast sky seems to stretch to eternity
The velvety black sky nearly tangible
The stars like diamonds on it
But, aw, the moon
Her beauty is beyond comparison
Like a white silver disk
It waxes ans wanes
Like the sea goes in and out of tide
Without a cloud in the sky
To obscure this perfect night
One can't help but whisper
"Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Grant a wish for me tonight."
And hope beyond hope
To see a shooting star
