   "Chotto yasotto ja tamashi made wa ubawasenai/ I won't allow my spirit to be taken so easily....."
"Ready steady go" by L'Arc~en~Ciel from Fullmetal Alchemist, both Japanese and English. Thought ya'll would like that since it's quite different.

I hope ya'll had a great holiday! I know I did! Just out of curiousity, what did ya'll get for the holidays? I got: a necklace with my name in Egyptian hyrogliphs (can't spell right now), a happy bunny watch, a dragon upper-arm braclet, some body wash, some gingersnaps (mmmmmm...), socks (but one pair has musical notes and they other has calligraphy on 'em), chop sticks, 2 braclets w/ calligraphy on them, the Eragon series ^^, a Witch Notebook (I'm studying Wicca since I'm curious about it), a FMA collectible box w/ the unrealesed 6th DVD and 2nd cd, a wishkeeper jar, earrings that you can wear w/o having pierced ears (or w/), a book about Egypt, a bear fountain thingy, and a photo board thingy. ^^ Woa, that's a lot of stuff, but some of it was from friends so....yeah. Ok, since last year I wrote a story thingy about me and Hiei, I got another for ya'll, hope ya like it!

~~~~~Begin story~~~~~
I was walking around the nearby lake after having lied to my mum about meeting a friend to go walking. Yeah, I just needed some alone time away from the family. So many things were on my mind, and none of them had to do with the holidays. No one was walking around the lake that day, they were probably all speanding time with family and such. Sighing, a heavy feeling settled over my heart as I kept muling over my thoughts, not even taking time to look at the beautiful sunset that was happening.
A dark figure was walking toward me. So someone was up and about huh? I didn't bother to examine who it was, so lost in the whirl wind of my tortured life. Then, a familiar scent wafted to me with the wind when the dark figure passed slowly, and I walked slower so the figure could turn around. The figure turned around and stalked up to me, putting a casual arm around my shoulders.
"You didn't tell me you were going walking by yourself."
"I know Hiei, but I wanted to be alone." Hia grip on my shoulder tightened ever so slightly, the warmth of his arm spreading down my back like a slowly creeping fire.
"Well, you've had enough alone time." He said curtly, making me give a small crooked smile.
"Seems I have no choice in the matter." He started to gently lead me off the concrete track off onto the grass to "our spot". "Our spot" was just a place we liked to sit at, it was a concrete slap that was connected to a diagonal piece of concrete that had water flow over it from a creek that fed into the man-made lake. Though the lack of rain made the creek sparse and the water running down no more than a thin small trickle, it was still quite tranquil to sit there.
We sat side-by-side, his arm still around me while I just gave in and leaned on his side, watching the sun set under the horizon. The clouds gave off different hues of yellow, orange, red, pink, and purple. Suddenly, something fell into my lap. Looking down, a neatly wrapped present lay there hap-hazardly. I glanced at Hiei through the edge of my eye, but he was just staring at straight ahead. I carefully picked it up, the square package felt slightly heavy. I ripped the silver wrapping off, only to find a white box. Upon lifting the lid off, I found the most gorgeous thing ever. It was a dragon bracelet, heavly detaild and the material made it quite heavy. The many sections of the dragons body made it seem like it could move all on it's own.
"Oh, thank you Hiei! I love it!" I hugged him gratefully. He didn't seem to mind that I had suddenly "attacked" him with a hug. Somehow, I think I managed to soften up that stone heart of his by being with him for so long.
"Hn, glad you like it." Fishing through one of my hoodies pockets, I found a package I had brought with me, not so neatly wrapped but you couldn't make out what it was.
"Here, it's for you."
"I thought you weren't expecting me to be here?" One of Hiei's dark eyebrows cocked up.
"Yeah well, I had a feeling you would follow me here."
"Hn." He took the package and ripped the wrapping off to find a leather sheath about the size of his hand with something like a hilt sticking out. He gave a strange look but I just encouraged him to open the sheath. He pulled from it a beautiful dagger. On one side of the blade was an etched fire coming from the hilt, the swirls looking almost real. On the other side was the spikes of ice etched on it to look almost frozen on there for all eternity. He carefully sheathed it and gave me a hug, but gave me a bonus of a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you Yami-chan, it will come in handy."
"You're very welcome Hiei.Oh, and guess what?"
"Hm?"
"Merry Kurisumasu."
"Merry Kurisumasu." He repeated as we just sat contendly with our new presents and watched the sun finally slip under the horizon, taking the beautiful colors of the sky with it.
~~~~~~End story~~~~~

Did ya like it? Let me know, ok?

Shnugens,
Yami.
