A pleasent week...
Well, the past few days have been fun, if uneventful. Yesterday I spent the school day still working on my ICT project, I've pretty much got the actual project finished except for a few hickups... and then I just have to write up the test plans and the user manual for the thing. But I don't want to keep talking about that all the time.

When I got home, I got ready to go out for my run with my friend Craig. We were set to meet at 5pm down on the field. At about 4:50, it started to rain... heavily. Unswayed, I went down, and Craig was there too. We started our run, and about 15 minutes into our workout, the rain changed... into hail stones. I was running with a gloved hand infront of my face just to protect my eyes, and my hand was hurting through my glove. Then the hail finally changed to snow, which was much more pleasent... except for the fact that it was basically blizzard conditions; sheets of snow and heavy winds. Still unswayed, we completed our run, extremely proud that we defeated the weather. The next step: Get home as quickly as possibly to get out of the wet clothes and into a hot shower.

That brings us to today. I woke up this morning expecting a sea of snow outside my window. What do I get? Puddles of ice and nothing more. All the snow had fallen on wet ground, and hadn't stuck, and then during the night when the temperature dropped, the resulting water froze over. Still wasn't enough to keep the school bus from getting to us. They arrive late for no reason at all most days, but under the threat of black ice they are overcome with a sense of punctuality. Typical...

School was uneventful, I won't bore you with it. I think tonight I'll just stay at home. I'll be out all weekend, so I could do with a bit of rest first.

Magic Advice for the Day: Don't shave with a rusty razor.
