   Wales Vs Ireland...
I've been waiting for this all week. I've had no school, I've had nothing to do or watch, and I'll I've done it sit and wait for this day; match day. Rugby, the biggest thing in Wales by a long shot. The Six Nations tournament to us are America's football play-off's. You sit there, on your couch, shouting and screaming in glee or in fury at every little thing that happens on the field. The tension, excitement and unpredictability bring an experience that's hard to beat.

The Ireland match is by far the most enjoyable match we have in the Six Nations. I went to the Wales Vs Ireland match last year down at the Milenium Stadium in Cardiff, and the Irish people who visited were very friendly, very hospitable, and exemplified everything that is good about being a sports fan. They are the team that, "if we couldn't win... then you hope they win", if you get what I'm saying.

So, yesterday evening I went up to Thomas' house with Gareth, intending to give them a royal hiding on NFL Street. I really hate it when confidence comes back and bites you on the ass...

First match: Craig vs Gareth

After watching Gareth try to play the game for a short while, I was almost laughing when I picked up my pad to play him. Whether it was Karma... or beginners luck, something was on his side. He should not have won that match. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong for me. The one pass I threw was intercepted, Ricky Williams was getting tackled by Drew Bledsoe and was coughing up the ball. Gareth on the other hand, scored against me when I had a gamebreaker. Absolute bullshit.

Needless to say, he had the last laugh, and got to take the piss out of me for the rest of the night, and all I could do was sit there and let him. It's harmless fun between friends, all in the spirit of competition. Just wait until I get my rematch...

EDIT: The Wales Vs Ireland match has just finished, and I'm pissed off. 35-16 to Ireland. Ireland was like the school yard bully who had decided to pick on Wales today. We did nothing in the match and were very lucky to get as many points as we did. We had the talent and the confidence to beat Ireland after last weeks victory, but as the commentator said, "Wales didn't turn up".
