SNOW!!
It all started yesterday morning. The setting was perfect. The air was cold, crisp, the ground was dry, and the sky was overcast with thick, low lying clouds. We got to school, nothing yet. Then, during first period, it started. Snow filled the view from the window, and it steadily build up on the ground. Then, during second period, it stopped... and the snow melted, leaving the floor wet, meaning future snow wouldn't stick... which, for the next two hours, was exactly what happened. Four two hours, snow was falling onto wet ground and melting instantly. Then, for some reason, during dinnertim, it began to stick again... but this time, the snow didn't stop. It carried on four over three hours, in what would have been blizzard conditions had the wind been any worse.
Snow is a rare thing where I live... normally we just get rain -_-. So, when snow comes, we make the most of it. For the next two hours, I found myself in one continous snowball fight with about 50% of the school's students. Some teachers had to leave early to get home before their area got snowed in, and so one by one, more and more classes were sent out into the snow, to get their asses kicked by the sixth formers waiting for them (me included). By the time I got home... I couldn'y bend my fingers, they were so cold. My legs and feet were soaking from walking through 3 miles of snow to get home. I arrived home over two hours later than I usually would... and yet, it was by far the most enjoyable school day I've had in recent memory.
Magic Advise for the Day: Don;t hide rocks inside snowballs... they hurt.
