Vacation
Yesterday, we (referring to me, Akusura, Kateri, and Julie) drove to some town nearby called Lancaster. We shopped at all sorts of neat stores, and somehow, I ended buying clothes for everyone... It was still fun anyways. Later at night, some anime cartoons came on, but I didn't want to watch them; I had aleady seen the series they put on a lot of times because I have the box sets on dvd. Right now we are getting ready to go to Rehoboth Beach which Kateri says in down in Delaware. I hope it is nice.

Fun
Yesterday, we all went to Hershey Park, me, Akusura, Kateri, and her friend, Julie. Akusura and I held hands, which drew a lot of attention to us; it was funny. We had a lot of fun there; we rode roller coasters and went on water rides and got unusual stuff to eat. Akusura did not ride roller coasters much, though; he was afraid of them. Afterwards, we went to a place right next to the amusement park called Chocolate World. We bought a whole bunch of cool souvenirs, but I only ate some of the chocolate; I do not really like chocolate.
Today, Kateri's parents had left today, and will not be back till 10:30 at night. Akusura and I have been having fun all day; we were playing some games and doing... other stuff. Kateri had her friend Julie over, and they had a horror movie marathon, but I only watched a few of them like something called the Thing and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre(did I spell Texas right?). Being a chainsaw murderer would be fun, but I do not think I will become one. At least not now anyways. Kateri's little sister and little brother were here, but they did not mind anything at all; they played video games mostly all day.

Last day
Right now, I am waiting at a car rental place called Enterprise; they need to finish cleaning out my car. Yesterday was my last day in New York City. We got to tour around Carnegie Hall at the beginning of the day,and then we got to visit the Staten Island Zoo for three hours right before we went to lunch. In the afternoon, we got to see the Museum of Modern Art. Our guide told us that it had over 100,000 pieces of art, and its library had over 140,000 books and periodicals! We didn't see all of it, though; we only spent four hours there before we went to spend the rest of the time to 9:00 P.M at the Astroland Amusement Park. It was fun!
This morning, I checked out of my hotel room, and said good-bye to my tour group; they are continuing on to Niagra Falls and other places in New York. It was kind of sad, but I knew we would get in touch in Japan. But the surprising thing is that my new friend, Akusura, is dropping out from the group to come with me, too. He says he wants to meet my penpal, Kateri. And I found out Akusura loves yaoi, too; he even brought his doujinshi collection with him from Japan. He has a lot!
Akusura is hanging around somewhere at this place; he is going to ride with me in my car. Kateri and I have been pen pals for a long while now. We know each other because her mom's family has been friends with my family for a long time. I have only met her a couple of times in person, but she is really nice. She was the one who introduced me to the Otaku (her username is kitty cat girl) and an American email account in Yahoo.
We are going to do some fun things together, like visit amusement parks and stuff. I have already told her that Akusura is coming, and she wants to meet him, too. Her other siblings are cool too. Her younger sister, who is fourteen, is great at drawing her own original characters, and I showed her how to set up a manga, so she is awesome at it. I have agreed to help her get started in making an anime when she gets older.
I might persuade Akusura to join the Otaku, too, but he doesn't seem to interested.
Akusura gave me his picture.

Vacation
Yesterday, we went to the Statue of Liberty, and it was cool, besides there was no air conditioner inside of it. Our tour guide told us all about it, then we got to go inside and went all the way up to the top to look out. It was amazing!
After that we went to lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. I bought kitty cat girl and myself a t-shirt. When we were done eating, we went to the American Museum of the Moving Image; it showed us the history of film. It was interesting, except the old films looked sort of stupid the way they were moving too fast and they were moving to the music. After spending three hours there, we went to the Museum of Jewish Heritage's Living Memorial to the Holocaust. It was sad because we saw some documentaries on what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust, but they didn't have things about what happened to other people, like catholics and male homosexuals, in concentration camps.
That is all we did that day, and right now, I am waiting for the tour bus to pick me up at my hotel. I have no idea where we are going today, because I never read the itinerary for the day.

Vacation
Yesterday, we went shopping at the mall for the first half of the day. It was a big mall. My favorite store was something called Hot Topic; it had a lot of neat gothic accesories. I wish we had one in Japan. We had lunch at the mall before heading out again. Me and most of the tourist group decided to eat at a fast food place called Sarku Japan; I guess I was not the only one who missed eating normal food. After the mall, we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I feel sorry for one of the people in our group; they got in trouble for taking a picture of something they weren't supposed to, but that was stupid.
Today, we are getting a free day to do whatever around the city. In the morning, I was shopping for souvenirs in the city, but it got boring, so I went back to my hotel to just hang around there and use the facilities. Right now, I am in my room, and I will not be leaving for a while. I've heard that tomorrow we are going to see the Statue of Liberty, so I can't wait.
Picture I took outside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Vacation
Yesterday, we finished the day at the American Museum of Natural History. It had a whole bunch of neat stuff and interesting information. When I got back to my hotel room, I decided to eat at the Caf, which is in the hotel. It was very fancy with french food, so I think I stood out wearing my new goth oufit I bought before I left Japan.
Today, I am on the bus right now, and we are just driving around to different hotels to pick everyone up before we start. I am not sure what we are going to do today besides we are going to spend a lot of time shopping at a mall called Queens Center. Malls are always fun so I am looking forwards to it.
In the mean time, I will post a few pictures.
Picture I took at the museum.
