   Reporting...
Hello guys. How have you all been doing? ^^

I thought it would be a good thing for me to tell you a little about what's been going on for me while I wasn't here.
After we went to Cuba I went through this "phase" when I realised how I tend to satisfy myself with things that I am really not totally comfortable with and that don't really make me happy. I needed my summer to do some thinking (especially about school and what I really want to do with my life), and that's in part why I haven't been around. Now I have reoriented my career projects and I really feel like I'm getting back on track, but I still want to take advantage of this not-so-crazy semester to make sure this "new path" is really the right one. So I'm not yet done with the thinking part, I have people I want to talk to...and so even though I have reconciled with anime now I don't want it to take to much space in my life nor to much of my time right now until I've totally "fixed my life" first(^^).

So what I'm basically writing for is to tell you that I still won't be back until probably Christmas time...but that I am still alive and planing to be back... eventually.^^
Also when I come back I will start I new page for myself, so this is the last time that I will be posting on this one. I won't delete this site now so that my friends list doesn't get lost, but when I come back I won't be YoukaiShina anymore (I'll sign your guestbooks to let you know my new name).

I hope you're all doing good, talk to you in the winter. ^_^

Leaving for awhile
Hi guys

I'm sorry for not haveing been here for such a long time. To tell you the truth, I simply wasn't in the mood...and I still am not. So I decided to take a break from anime and from TheOtaku for probably a few months.
Some of you had read about how I went to Cuba recently and like every time I go to Cuba I sort of mentally stay there for a few weeks...or months(^^). Also I have other, non anime related projects for the summer and all, and I'm not sure if this is a result or a cause of the other two but I just faced the fact that I simply hadn't been watching any anime for about two months now. So as a result I am really not into anime right now, and I hope none of you takes this personally but I'm just not in the mood of TheOtaku either...so I decided to take a break from here...

But as I know myself my present mood will probably last only for a few months so I'll be back... eventually(^^). Therefore I won't delete my accounts, first because I want people who are in anime mood to still be able to see my wallpapers, take my quizzes, etc and also because I'm very lazy and I don't want to have to put everything back up in a new account when I'm back(^^).
So I won't touch anything, I'm keeping my friends list as it is and all but I just wanted you all to know that I won't come around for awhile so don't try to contact me through here or you might have to wait a long time before you get an answer(^^).

I'm back...and not happy about it (-_-)
Hi guys! We had a great time in Cuba(as always). The weather was great, it was hot and sunny the whole time (while in Montreal it's been raining most of the time...^^) We spent our days relaxing and enjoying the sun. We got up at 8:30 and had breakfast at 9:00 in the main restaurant. Then around 10:00 we were back in our rooms getting ready for some water time. From 11:00 to 1:30 we relaxed 'a la playa' or at the pool. Then we had lunch at either the beach or the pool restaurant. After that we usually took a walk around the site, either to take pictures, go to the crafts house and try to make up our minds on what to buy, etc...and then we were back to our rooms where we stayed from 3:30 to 7:00 relaxing and getting dressed for dinner. Then at 7:00 we were back to the main restaurant enjoying the foods from the buffet. Around 8:30 we were once again back in our rooms, and around 9:45 we headed to the theatre where the night show took place from 10:00 to 11:00...and then we went to sleep at around 12:00 (whoo, early ^^) But speaking of the shows, you know what the best part of the trip was? Come on, take a guess.^^ My crush from last year was still there ^__^ He's a dancer so of course the shows were my personal favourite part of the day...^^

So yes like I said in the title I wish I were still there...-_- And actually thinking about it I might still be there. The customs guy in Cuba seemed to have some trouble with my passport number when we were coming back and I think I spent like 10 minutes there waiting for his computer to finally un-bug and recognize the validity of my number. My mom was cracking up when I finally caught up with her because she thought I spent all this time flirting with the guy (he was there when we arrived too and started flirting with us. He even asked my sister if she was single! Yes, Cubans are like that.^^)

That's it for now. As I said I'm not feeling especially cheerful right now and will probably need a few days to start enjoying the post-Cuba reality, so I probably won't be on for a few days until I'm 'in the mood' again...but then I'll visit all of you to know what's been going on with you guys while I was there.^_^

   Cuba, espera me, vengo.
Hi guys, how are you all? That's right, I'm leaving for Cuba tomorrow (Saturday) morning.^_^ It's a family trip and I'll be gone for the week. Cuba is definitly our favourite destination. Actually it's gonna be our, ummm * counts on fingers* eighth time there! Wow. And we're also going to the same hotel we went to last summer, so it's nothing new but we know we'll have a great time. I'll also get to be there on my birthday. Yay!^_^

So I'm posting now because I usually post late at night (or early in the morning ^^) and we're going to sleep at the hotel tonight so I won't be able to post. I'll try to visit everyone's sites when I come back...

   Drawing day
Hi guys. Ouf, I think this is the first time I actually finish a project (personnal project, not school project). Yesterday (wednesday) I decided to draw the main characters from one of my stories. They're fairies and I felt like drawing something colourful so I started drawing one...and actually ended up drawing all 6 of them in just 2 days! Wow, where has my old lazy self gone?^^ Anyway, if you guys like fairies (and even if you don't^^) you can go have a look at them by visiting my PinkAzalea site (you'll also learn where I got the name from). I have 14 drawings up by now, some of them some of you guys have already seen. I hope you'll stop by...and enjoy them of course.^^

In other news, I went to my ex-college yesterday with my friend. We've graduated 2 years ago and we told one of our teachers that we had in 5 courses that we would come back to visit her...and we finally did so yesterday. Well, better late than never I guess.^^
But you know what the best part is? My friend and I were crazy about (and still are) another teacher in college and we saw him too. Oh God I swear I would die for that man. Anyway I shouldn't be telling you that...but I couldn't help myself.^^
