~*Love*~

Some people say, "Why do we love
when love only causes pain?"
Other people say, "Why not love
when love feels so good?"
And I say, "You never can know
about little things like love."

~*Friendship*~

When you when have real friends
You have real trust and love
And when you have real trust and love
You have real friends

~*Courage*~

Some say courage is the power to stand up for what you believe in
Others say courage is when you do scary things
But in truth courage is to do the smallest things
And to admit when you're wrong
That's what courage really is

~*I'm Lost*~

I look in the darkness and you're not there
I turn when I hear the wind, but you're still not there
I turn when I hear a gentle voice floating with the wind
And like always, you are not there
Without you I am lost to the night
I can never leave and go to the holy light
Without you I am always in the dark
And I'm lost for eternity, without you in my arms

~*You Lied*~

You always said that you would be by my side
But in the end, you lied
You always promised that I would have you to hold
And like the first time, you lied
When I first met you, you promised to love me
And like always, you lied
I think the only promise you ever kept was the one in your eyes
It was to always lie

~*In The Darkness*~

The night envelops me with its welcoming embrace
I feel happy when I am surrounded by the silence
The darkness is my blanket as I lay down for sleep
Knowing that when I wake up, the memories will be gone
I live in the welcoming darkness, the stars as my guide
The moon overhead, I look to the sky
I close my eyes and embrace the darkness
Knowing know that when the darkness fades
You'll be gone and i'll never wake

~*I'm Waiting On You*~

I stand alone as the wolf howls to the moon
And as always, I'm waiting on you
I watch as the moon fades with the stars
As I sit all alone, I'm waiting on you
You promised to be here, before the sun came
But as it's light shines, I guess you walked away
I feel my heart shatter, as I take a stand
And I look at the sunrise, when you take my hand
You went to see her, it's in your eyes
When you apologize, I say it's alright
'Cause no matter what you do, I'm waiting on you

~*Sun Rise*~

All the pain and sadness, the years that I've cried
It all disappeared, the night that you died
I sat on the front porch, surrounded by night
And finally I realized, you were my light
And as the moon faded
I felt so jaded
But when the sun rose
I felt your woes
And that's when I knew
That you loved me too

~*A Brother's Love*~

Your mother died
And your father cried
He married my mother
We hated eachother
You'd walk away
And I'd yell you name
And to this day
It's always the same
When you see me
Your eyes just scream
All the guilt and pain
That won't go away
What can I say
That makes us this way
No matter what you do
I'll be waiting for you
I'll wait for you to say
That you won't walk away

No matter what you'd say
I'd always feel this way
It'd always hurt to know
I was second best to your girl
You told me you loved me
I knew it was a lie
But it never really hurt you
When you would see me cry
And when the moon would come out
You would disappear
We all knew where to find you
'Cause you were always near
And when the rays of light would shine
You would walk over the hill's rise
And you would glow against the pine
And I would always know
I was second best to your girl

I watch the rain fall
and hear a basketball
I look into the night
without any fright
The rain hits the grass
And I see a few cars pass
As the moons shines its light
It blocks out the night
I sigh as I watch
All the rain fall

~*Angel's Cry*~

Do you ever think that angels cry?
Does the rain pour down from their tears?
The pain they feel at losing their loved ones,
Is the same kind of pain we feel down here
We like the rain
But not to much
Because the rain makes us sad
As does the tears of the ones we love
So when it rains look up to the sky
So you can answer the question
Do angels cry?

I always thought that the night was grand
As I sat there with you, holding your hand
But now the night is suffocating me
And all I want to do is see
The darkness comsumes me into its abyss
Some people say that this feeling is bliss
All I want is to be with you
And that you'll always love me too
As I fall into the night
I'll always remember that you were my light

~*Forever Mine*~

I look in your eyes and see
Tomorrow's promise for you and me
Since we first met
And made a simple bet
We became friends that day
And now I can say
That through all of the pain and sadness
All the tears that you've cried
You can count on me
Because you'll forever be mine

~*Pain*~

This pain is new to me
And I can't see
I want to get away
But I've felt this for days
When you kissed her on the dock
I heard the ring of the clock
The pain started then
And it just won't end
So please come back
So I can be sane
And get away from the pain

~*Trust*~

I trust the moon
And all to soon
It will be done
And up will come the sun
The rays of light
Will drive back the night
I trust the stars
They are my guides
And when the moon comes back up
I trust the night
