   Ouran Koukou Host Club!

XD Don't ask me why I just said hi as if I were answering the phone in Japan because I honestly don't know the answer. =P But anyway...I'm watching an Ouran High School Host Club AMV right now. That's the reason I'm listening to A*Teens. I haven't really listened to them in a really long time, but the song goes well with the anime. XD You can watch the AMV here if you want. Speaking of Ouran, if you haven't watched the anime or read the manga yet, you definitely should! =D And yes guys, it's a Shojo Beat product. Is "product" a good enough word for that? Eh...I'm just going to say it is. XP I didn't even know it was a Shojo Beat manga until I bought the first volume. XD But yeah. You should definitely check it out. And if you're a guy, then I guess it just depends on who you are. Since I don't really have anything else to do, here's a picture and a brief description of the anime/manga to help you make the decision on whether it may interest you or not. XD Ok. The story is about a girl named Haruhi (the one in the picture holding the rose with the brown hair and brown eyes in the bottom right corner). She gets accepted into a very rich school that you can usually only get into because of your family background, but because Haruhi is so smart...she was able to get in through an academic program type thing. One day, she's looking for a quiet place to study. That's when she goes to the third music room, which she thinks is unoccupied. Who does she find? None other than the Host Club! :D They mistake her for a guy, and eventually decide to make her into a host once they see her without glasses. Eventually all of them realize that she's a girl, but they continue to keep her in the Host Club so she can pay off a debt she had earned by breaking a vase worth eight million yen. There are a bunch a crazy happenings and love interests. My favorite character is Tamaki-kun aka "the prince type". :D He's the blond one in the top left corner of the picture. My second favorite is Mori aka "the wild type". I honestly have no clue why they call him that. He doesn't talk much, and he doesn't really do anything wild. But oh well. XD He's the one in the bottom left corner. The twins are Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin aka "the little devil type". They are part of this thing called "twincest". I'm not too fond of it myself, but if that's your cup o' tea...then there you go. XP The guy with the glasses is Kyouya aka "the cool type". Last but not least is Honey-senpai aka "the loli-shota type". Or that can be simplified to the cute type I suppose. And don't let his looks fool you. He's actually a senior and the second oldest (Mori being the oldest) member of the host club. XD Now I'm done. So maybe that wasn't as "brief" as I had planned, but oh well. XP If you read it...thanks. If not...that's fine with me. I really wish they would release an English version of it soon, so I can buy it. I've watched all of the episodes, but they were in Japanese with subtitles. Not that I have a problem with that. It's just that nobody will watch it with me when they need to read subtitles (even though I'm sure the Japanese voices are a billion times better than the English). Like my brother for example. Grrr. Okk....moving on now. How is everybody doing? I'm just feeling really blah right now. Although I am feeling quite relieved as well because my history paper is done and handed in. I just hope it was good enough. I was up until 3 in the morning working on it on Tuesday/Wednesday. ^^;; Now I just need to get ready for the presentation. I found out today that I'm going on the 8th of January. Also, I'm still trying to find a good Japanese song about Japan. We aren't allowed to use the national anthems (but thanks for the suggestion, TigerFantasy17). I should have mentioned that. ^^;; So again, if you know of any good songs I could use...please tell me! Oh yes! I still haven't had any confirmation on whether anybody can go to the movies with me. Tis quite sad. ;_; I guess I'll keep trying to find someone. *sigh* I have nothing else left to say. *shrug* Oh! Just that yesterday officially marked my 2 years of being a member here. ^^ I was going to make some kind of picture for it, but I'm feeling way too lazy at the moment. >.<;; So I guess I'll be going now.    Shima Uta!!!

Current Music: Gackt: Shima Uta :: Current Mood: Stressed :: Time Posted: 6:56PM ET Well....no Eragon for me this weekend. My step-dad was in the ER most of yesterday. That's when we planned on going. They don't think it's anything too serious. At least not at this point. I just really wish he'd quit smoking already. -_- But actually it's kind of a good thing I didn't get to go. I mean...it's not good that he had to be in the hospital, but I'm a bit glad we didn't go to the movies this weekend. None of my friends could go. So I'm hoping one of them will be able to next weekend at least. Sure it's the weekend before Christmas...but who cares?! XD *sigh* Yeah. I really hope I'll get to have someone come. Anyway, I have a history project to do. A five to seven page paper to write for Wednesday and a presentation to do in January. I'm not even sure when in January it is anymore. >.<;; We had to pick a country. Of course I picked Japan. Haha! And I'm trying to find a good song in Japanese that has to do with Japan to play on the day of my presentation. One where they're actually singing about Japan. Does anybody know of one? I'm listening to Shima Uta right now. The one with Gackt. I was thinking of using that, but now I'm starting to think it doesn't have enough to do with it. Here's the video: I remembered it was an Okinawan song. I found the lyrics/translation here. I'm not sure if I should use it though. I really like the song, but it doesn't really have anything to do with Japan. :P So if you think of a different song...please tell me about it! It will be muchly appreciated! :D To be honest with you, I don't really have anything else to talk about. I'm glad Christmas break is almost here. A chance to be away from school. Why wouldn't I be glad about that? XD Just to be random: I love green tea. Green tea ice cream. Green tea pocky. Green tea Kit-Kats. All are very, very good. You should definitely try them all. XD Oh yeah! I already have my prom dress! Now I just need a boyfriend to go with. *sigh* Something tells me I'll end up going alone. It may not be the best, but I'd rather go alone than with someone I really don't like. Anywho...tis a qipao. I got it from this Oriental Gifts store at the mall. I love that place. The lady told me it will be going out of business at the end of the year though. I'm not sure if that's true, or if she just really wanted me to buy the South Korean flag though (which I did). XP I really hope it doesn't go out of business. It's my favorite store in the entire mall. I'll be very sad. :'( I insist on going every single time we're there. *tear* Now I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say. Christmas shall hopefully bring some happiness. Both in the form of spending time with my crazy family...and by me getting more anime/manga/videogames. XD There's just something about Christmas and the crazy times with my family. Oh yes!    Bleck

Current Music: Merry: Japanese Modernist :: Current Mood: Bored :: Time Posted: 5:42PM ET Hey again everybody! I'm bored...so I decided to come post. For those of you who read my last post...don't worry. I'm still confused about part of everything going on...and annoyed/grossed out from the other...but things are a little better...I guess. Bleck. -_- But anyway. Yup. My car. Tis a Subaru. I really wish I wasn't afraid to drive. I need to get more hours in so I'm ready to go get my license at the end of January. I'm pretty sure I won't make it by then though. Bof! What else? Hmmm. Oh! The quiz I finished forever ago! I was going to show it to you when I'd post the next time, but I forgot. >.< This time I remembered though! ^-^ Here's the link: Which Anime Character Is Your Best Match?    Some Advice

Current Music: Chieco Kawabe: Be Your Girl :: Current Mood: Lonely Yet Somewhat Happy:: Time Posted: 10:23PM ET Rebekah (me...for those of you who never noticed, that's my real name :P) is lonely again. Rebekah wishes she had someone to hang out with. Rebekah wants someone who would want to watch movies like Moon Child, NANA, and Densha Otoko with her. Rebekah would like to have someone to go to the mall with her. Rebekah thinks a boyfriend would be a very good candidate for this position, but she knows that won't happen anytime soon. =/ Rebekah would still be happy with having friends that want to hang out with her again. Yes, Rebekah knows she is a bit wei-...different. ;) Haha! Ok. You're probably wondering why I was just talking about myself in third person. XP If you didn't see Grey's Anatomy on Thursday...you probably won't understand...but it has to do with that. My friend (EnVy) and I were speaking in third person most of yesterday. It was fun. XD It was even more fun to annoy a certain jerk by doing so. XD But anyway...you should try it sometime! People may look at you like you're crazy, but it's still pretty fun...and entertaining. Haha! Now I have some advice. Online relationships are more than likely doomed to fail. I've had two experiences...so I know. More than likely, they are just too risky for three reasons. 1) You have no way of telling who's lying and who's telling the truth. 2) There is no guarantee that you'll ever meet the person. 3) If you do meet the person, you may wish you hadn't...for many reasons. Fortunately, I never met any. I have personally decided to never do the whole online relationship thing ever again...because I just really don't think it works. I envy the ones that it does work for, but I really don't think it's worth my time. Plus, there is way too much stress involved. But if you are willing to deal with the stress...and possibly having a stalker if things don't go well...like I know have...be my guest. Anywho, let's get to my point. Last night...one of the guys I had as an online "boyfriend" tried to get me to go out with him again. Now, I know I recently said I forgive people too easily. And I have forgiven him...but only to allow him to be my friend...nothing more. A lot of people told me I shouldn't even bother being his friend. But...being the nice person that I am...I just went with it. Last night though...as I said...he tried to get me to be more than friends again. Now he wasn't very nice when we "broke up". He started ignoring me, and eventually I found out it was because he liked another girl. He wasn't very nice about it though. Anyway, for those of you guys who may actually care about a girl, and want her back. Those of you who honestly wouldn't put her through crap once again...I have some advice. I'm not quite sure why I'm putting this...since it's not like I have a huge amount of guys who read my posts. Actually, I don't have a very large amount of anyone reading my posts anymore. Or at least they don't comment. lol But...I made a page for it...so here you go: Advice I guess ten was enough. lol Most of that came from my conversation with him last night. To be honest with you, I found it quite funny. I don't think I've laughed as hard as I did last night in a long time! My stomach hurt from all the laughter. XD Now if it weren't for the fact that I could tell he was lying through his teeth...I wouldn't have been laughing. But when he sends a link to a picture and asks, "Do you remember when you helped me resize that pic?", and I've never helped him resize a picture in my entire life...I know there isn't much point in taking him seriously. I'm tired of him thinking he can just use me whenever he feels he needs to. Some guys just never learn I suppose. Anyway, off of that subject...I went to the mall today! :D I got four new manga: A.I. Love You (vol. 3), Fushigi Yugi (vol. 1), Get Backers (vol. 1), and Kill Me, Kiss Me (vol. 4). I shall show you the covers (click on them to see better versions): I'm not quite sure why I felt the need to show the covers, but oh well. :P I was going to get another Love Hina, but they didn't have the fourth one. :( It made me quite sad. At least I was still able to get A.I. Love You which just so happens to be by the very same guy who does Love Hina (Ken Akamatsu). XD Oh...and for those of you who know I owe my mom money...I actually won $35 dollars for being an honorable mention in a Voice of Democracy contest. My mom decided I could use the money to buy stuff instead of paying her back. ^^ I think it might have been partially the fact that I got a 96% as an overall on my report card too.    Sakuraaaaaaa KISSU!!!

Current Music: Chieco Kawabe: Sakura Kiss :: Current Mood: Annoyed/Lonely/Tired :: Time Posted: 7:00PM ET Eeeeeeee! Cool song! Sakura Kiss sung by Chieco Kawabe. Yup. It's the Ouran opening theme. And Ouran is still a really good anime! XD I'm pretty sure it's a manga too...but I haven't read it yet. ^^;; Anyway...here's the Sakura Kiss PV if you want to watch it: *sigh* The song may be upbeat...but it still makes me a bit sad. Just go read the translation. I made a page for the lyrics and translation right here. The fact that I am still without a boyfriend is what makes it sad. It does give some hope though...I suppose. ^-^ Anyway...as I am typing this up...I'm drinking Lipton Green Tea with citrus. Green tea really does help with illness. I mean...everyone in this house...except me...has been sick so far. Also, I'm the only one who has been continuously drinking the tea. Is it the tea that is keeping me from getting sick? Or is it just a coincidence? That is the question! XD But yeah...I've been trying to figure that out. Now watch I'll wake up sick tomorrow. =P Now...I must ask you something. What do you do when you have a feeling that someone likes you...but you don't like them? When you've tried many times to give them the hint that you don't feel that way about them? When you cannot tell them you don't feel the same way...because you may be mistaken? Or also because you don't want to hurt them? This has been a problem of mine a few times. I know the feeling of rejection. I've also had that problem a few times, and it sucks. But if you don't like someone...there's nothing you can do. I don't believe it's right to go out with someone out of pity. Am I right? I think so. If you do...they're only going to get hurt eventually. Why not make sure it ends before they gain more hope...right? Bof! I hate this. -_- I'm just getting really annoyed and creeped out. This is one reason I cannot wait to graduate. Along with the possibility of getting around new people. I can't stand my school much longer. The people annoy me...except a select few. They seem very distant though. I will miss the select few. But I still can't wait to get around new people. Possibly more people that like anime. And...ya know....people who aren't racists. Ugh! I hate how most people around here are. It makes me so mad. Like how my friend and I want our prom to be all Japanese/oriental...with sakura and such. Yeah. I don't think that will go down very well in this school. *sigh* But I did join prom committee! I'm not quite sure why. I really don't know if I even want to go yet. >.< Ok...off of that subject now. I started a painting in art class. I must say...I'm not the best at painting. Not by a long shot...but it is fun. My painting is supposed to have two hearts, the kanji for love ("ai"), sakura branches, and these block things. Yeah. I'm not the best at describing things. XP Anywho...it's not coming out as well as I had hoped. >.< Oh well. I'll keep trying. Maybe I'll post it on here eventually. Probably not until the end of the school year...since I'm not sure I could sneak a painting out of the art room before then. I may be able to with a drawing...but not a painting. It'd be much too risky. My art teacher isn't exactly....the nicest person around. lol Now I'm going to be really random! I want a sakura tree! Haha! I mean...they're so beautiful. I'm not even a very big fan of pink...but I still think they're really cool! ^_______^ Hmmm...yup. Ok...I'm going to stop being a dork now. <.< >.> >.< Well my dear friends...my new Anime Insider magazine came today. I still need to read it. I'm so happy it came. I was going crazy waiting for it.    Good and Bad

Current Music: Hyde: Mission :: Current Mood: Lonely... :: Time Posted: 8:25PM ET So I've been thinking. I forgive people too easily. I've noticed this recently. I let people walk all over me. They make fun of me...I forgive them. They hurt me...I forgive them. They're mean to me...I forgive them. Sometimes I wonder why I let it happen. I guess I'm just trying to be the better person...but it gets really tiring after awhile. I don't know. I guess I'll just keep trying to be nice...even if the people I'm being nice to don't deserve it. It's just the way I am I suppose. Anyway, I was searching for a song on YouTube the other day. The only video I found with it was an AMV. It had the anime called Ouran High School Host Club. I watched the AMV, and I remembered how my friend mentioned an anime with "Host Club" in the title...and how he had been bugging me to watch it. I decided to check it out, and I found the first episode on YouTube. I was right. It was the anime he was talking about, and now I'm addicted to it! XD I know I shouldn't be watching it on YouTube...since it goes against copyright stuff. I'm going to try and buy the actual DVDs though...eventually. You should definitely check the anime out sometime. It's really funny! XD Here's a picture: Ok...next topic. I was flipping through channels the other day. Somehow...I came upon a new channel. Or at least I'm pretty sure it's new. *shrug* It's called IMF (The International Music Feed). I was like...wait a minute!...does this mean there could be Japanese music on my American TV screen?! So I watched for a bit...and Nana Kitade (Kesenai Tsumi, FMA's 1st ending theme) came on! Ahhhh! I started jumping up and down. She was at Otakon, but since we had my little brother...I wasn't allowed to go see her perform. *sigh* She's so cool. Anyway...I watched the channel some more...and Miyavi came on! Now this was uber big for me. I never in a million years thought I'd get to watch Japanese PVs on an American TV...unless I bought it with a CD or something. I'm still freaking out about it. XD As Hyde says in his song Mission, "Music's breaking down all the barriers". I'm so happy. ^-^ I even decided to put Hyde's song on for you...along with the lyrics.    Time After Time

Current Music: Novaspace: Time After Time :: Current Mood: TIRED :: Time Posted: 11:00PM ET Happy Day After Halloween!!! Haha! So I went to school with my kimono yesterday. That was fun. I had to take it off to do our chem lab though. I didn't want it to catch fire. :P I had my normal clothes underneath too...so no worries. I had lipstick on. Lipstick can be such a pain. >.< But it was still fun...even if people were making fun of me. -__- Anyway, I keep listening to a version of Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time done by Novaspace. It's pretty cool. More techno-like. I'm not sure which version I like better. I mean...I love techno...but the original is just that. The original. Originals are always best. Well...they are most of the time. I don't know. Random fact: Time After Time reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite. Haha! I think it's because that song plays during their school dance. It was of this picture: I just had to draw it when I saw it. It's very good. There's just something about it. Maybe it's the dorky hopeless romantic part of me...that wishes that could happen to me. Yeah...probably. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be having anything like that happen for awhile still. *sigh* Hmmm...about my fan art...I don't think I did it justice. >.< Oh well. I tried. I would have been very disappointed in myself if I hadn't. So...you might be wondering if I went to the Halloween dance. I didn't. I was actually starting to think I would. The only thing though...was that my geta sandals and tabi socks didn't come in the mail in time. They still haven't come. I had made the decision that if they came...I'd go. They didn't come...so I didn't go. *shrug* Well...I guess I should get going. I was going to say more (one thing being about how I had been taking quizzes a lot lately...and I'm thinking of making another one on quizilla), but I need to get to bed.    [Door] Window Painting!

Current Music: Snow Patrol: Chasing Cars :: Current Mood: Lonely/Tired :: Time Posted: 6:25PM ET I really like this song! I found an AMV for it on YouTube. I guess I'll actually put it up this time. Here it is: *sigh* It's got Final Fantasy VIII, X, X-2, and Advent Children. It's pretty good...or at least I think so. ^-^ If it's not working for some reason...right here is a link to it. So anyway...we went window painting today! ^_____^ It was fun as always. Of course it was freezing out though. Oh well. Oh...and instead of painting a window...we painted a door. Well...there was a window on the door. :P And it was a candy shop! Woooo! We got free candy for our hard work! ^_____^ The scary thing about this year's window painting being over...is knowing that I only have one more year left of it before I graduate. It's hard to believe. In a way, I can't wait to graduate...but in other ways...I really don't want to. Anywho, we got done painting pretty fast. Once we were done...we decided to go looking around. We went to the costume shop. That's always fun. XD I eventually got to eat pizza. :) We went to the book store too. We looked all over the place. I even got some pictures with my phone's camera. Of course phone pictures don't normally have the best quality, but it was still fun. ^-^ Oh! Do you know what today is? Yes...it is the 24th of October! Do you know what's special about that? No? I shall tell you then. Frodo wakes up in Rivendell, and Gandolf tells him it's October 24th. Yeah..I know...useless information. -__-' I remember that because it's actually one of my best friends' birthdays today. I wish my birthday could have been mentioned in a Lord of the Rings movie. XD Lots of people think my birthday is cool though. I'm not sure it's really all that great...since it's D-day...and a bunch of people died then...but ok. Plus, there was the whole 06/06/06 thing this year. Everyone was calling me "the omen" and saying the world was going to end on my birthday. Yeah...ok...like that happened. They made me feel like a weirdo for nothing. Ok. I'm being really random. Sorry about that. >.< I'm really tired, so I guess I'll stop now. It's really cool. ^^ If you want to check it out...here is the link to the AMV. I think the song goes really well with it. ^-^ So anyway...not much is going on. Art club is going window painting on Tuesday. I'm super happy about that. It's always fun. ^^ I mean...we get out of class. What's not fun about that? Haha! Yeah. Painting windows + eating pizza = good times! ^_______^ Hmmm...my third year in art club. Another year of window painting and working at two blood drives. The window painting is fun...but the blood drives are so slow! Ahhh! And since I'm normally the only one making the bags....I start freaking out because of my OCD. I don't know how many bags to make when it gets near the end. If you make too many...they need to void them out...and they get all mad at you. >.< But...at least I get to help out. It may be the longest 6 hours of my life each time...but it's still good to know that I could have helped in saving a life...ya know? That's one of the few things that keep me doing it. ^-^ What else did I want to talk about? Oh yeah! I'm sure you've heard of the Marie Antoinette movie...right? Hmm...if not...then I guess you won't know what I'm talking about. :P Anyway, it's really funny because we're actually going over the French Revolution in history right now. And what movie comes out? None other than Marie Antoinette! XD I remember seeing previews for it when I went to see Memoirs of a Geisha. I love that movie by the way. Memoirs of a Geisha that is. ^_____^ Anywho...Marie Antoinette looked cool then....and it still looks cool now. I do want to see it. I'm not so sure I'll get to though. Oh well. I guess I'll put a picture from the movie...since I don't know what else to put. I think the fans are cool. XD Only one week until the Halloween dance. I don't think I'll be going. I still don't have a boyfriend, and I just don't really feel like going. If I had a boyfriend...then there might be an exception...but I don't. :P Besides, I don't have geta sandals or tabi socks to go with my kimono. Unless I were to buy them from jlist.com. Hmmm...*sigh* I guess that's all for now. My new Anime Insider magazine came a couple nights ago. I already read it though...so I can't use that as an excuse to leave this time. Haha! Oh well. I'm pretty sure this song is the second opening for the NANA anime. I really need to watch the anime. The first movie is awesome! I can't wait for the second! And I've only read the first manga. >.< I need to read more of it, and I definitely need to see the anime too! I was really bored, and felt like posting for some reason. As I've said before...my life isn't really all that interesting most of the time. >.< Ok. So...I don't know how many of you get the Anime Insider magazine...but the October issue had an ad type thing in it. It was for this site, jlist.com. Don't worry. I went to the under 18 section. I really don't prefer the creepy, gross, and odd stuff. Just not my thing, I'm afraid. Anyway, I had been meaning to go to it...mainly because the ad showed iTunes Japan Music Cards. I was freaking out when I saw that! You have no idea how much I've been wanting to buy stuff from Japan's iTunes Music Store, and when I saw that...I was definitely happy. Now that I finally got to the site, it's even better than I thought. They have a zillion types of Pocky too! EEEEEEEE!! I love Pocky! I've been wanting to try the green tea kind forever, and they have it! ^_______^ And they have magazines you can subscribe to. Ahhhh! So cool! I think that's got to be on my top 2 favorite sites now (YesAsia.com being the other). I'm telling you. That site is like...an otaku's dream. If you get the chance...definitely look around on it! ^-^ Anyway, now that I got that out of the way...I'll get to why I decided to post today. I submitted another fan art. It's of Ichigo from Bleach. :) Here is the link to my fan art again. I guess I'll put Ichigo for my picture today. It's not the one I used to draw him, but it'll do. Yup. Now on to something that actually has more to do with my life. Halloween is coming up. I love Halloween. ^____^ But that's not what I wanted to talk about. :P So anyway, Halloween is coming up....and that means...the Halloween dance will be here soon too. I can't remember if they had it last year or not. If they did...it was only for the little middle schoolers. And since last year was the first year I started going to dances....I have never been to one of our Halloween dances before. A lot of people are telling me I should go, and that I should go in my kimono...blah blah blah. If you remember though...I said I don't want to go to dances anymore. At least not until I get a boyfriend. But...I don't have a boyfriend yet. So I'm really not sure if I'll actually go. Unless...as I said...a miracle happens...and...I get one. Which would be very nice. :) Hmmm. But I don't know. I guess I'll decide closer time. It's not until the 27th anyway. I believe I'm done now. Especially since my keyboard is acting up.
