Eureka 7
hey guys, yukino tokisaka here^^. im a little obsessed with this new series Eureka 7 this time^^. Eureka 7 (aka Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN) is about a 14-year-old boy named Renton Thurston who enjoys “reffing,” the activity of using a board to ride on the invisible “Trapar” particles that permeate the air. He idolizes Holland, the leader of a group of reffers called Gekko State, a group of anti-government mercenaries. The story revolves around Renton’s joining Gekko State and his budding relationship with the mysterious Eureka, a female member of Gekko State and pilot of the LFO (a kind of reffing mecha) Nirvash typeZERO. When Renton and Eureka together pilot the Nirvash, powered by the mysterious “Amita Drive,” it becomes almost invincible, and can liberate a monstrous amount of rainbow colored energy in a phenomenon named “The Seven Swell.” got that description from http://www.ceprix.net/archives/eureka-seven/. so, i HIGHLY recommend it sofar (ive only seen ep.2 & 3, but hey^^). i THINK sum of the music is done by Yoko Kanno (many of u will kno her from Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost In The Shell, probly sum others; but im not sure if she's involved with it for not). & it's produced by stuido Bones (which has done at least Wolf's Rain). so uh, go watch it guys!!
