BAH!
haha.

OH my gosh.

at church today(I'm Lutheran by the way), a bunch of our missionaries came back from Japan and gave a presentation. One Japanese pastor was visiting too. His name was Makito. I had a question for him about what anime had to do with the Shinto religion (he had mentioned that during the presentation)
He used Spirited Away as an example and told me that it was obviosly not based on christianity, and he thought that the ideas for all the spirits and stuff originated from the shinto religion. ( the way he said it made more sense.. -.-)

We got to talking more about anime, and he said that his daughter back in Japan is president of the anime drawing club!! He also said that she's a manga artist and does some cosplay. I said that that was awesome, but he said he and his wife were worried about her. haha. He asked me what kind of anime I like, and I said Bleach. duh. He told me that he would ask his daughter to get me a copy of Bleach volume 1 in japanese!!! way cool, huh?

well, that's the highlight of my day!
