Look, an update!

So I haven’t been very faithful in my posting for this week. But hey, Christmas was on Monday and I’ve been on break all this week. Nothing very exciting happened. Speaking of, I hope all of you had an enjoyable holiday season whether you celebrate Christmas or not. --------------------- I got some pretty good gifts this year. I was so excited when I opened them up. Here’s a list of the things I got: 1. Digital Camera 2. A much needed Book Case 3. Rice Cooker (yum yum!) 4. Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 5. YuYu Hakusho DVD’s 6. Kiddy Grade DVD’s (ep. 10-15 (why poppy? why? why not ep. 1?)) 7. Morpheous (animating/morphing program) 8. Japanese hand fan and table runner 9. Lip gloss/balm (smackers!) 10. Kimono like top 11. Coin Purse Note how none of this is money. But, I don’t mind. I got many of the things I asked for on my wish list that I handed out. Last night I built my new bookcase and installed the software for my wireless keyboard and mouse. I was so happy and hyped up that I could now do stuff from my bed. I created an AMV from my bed! I’m so excited! And, now I have a place to put all my anime and manga! *happy, happy, joy, joy* I also used my new rice cooker today and the rice actually turned out chopsticks worthy! He he! But on the down side, I can’t use Morpheous on my computer because it needs internet access to activate the software. However, my poor computer is at a lack of that. T_T Also, my grandpa got me the Kiddy Grade DVD’s, which wouldn’t be bad if he had actually got me the first disks instead of starting at episode 10. He has a bad habit of doing that; buying me anime but starting in the middle of the series. He did the same thing with the YYH DVDs. Oh, Poppy, when will you ever learn. ---------------------------- So, I’m on the road again to celebrate New Years with my daddy in Michigan. He’s taking us to work with him tomorrow morning so we can meet his co-workers and people. He likes to introduce us to people he knows, though most of the time I wont remember their names the next time I meet them. I’m not good with names. Current show: Hannah Montana. *hears door bell* Hey look!! People!!.........Okay, person (Lancelot), but, whatever. Hopefully we can actually play a game now. Preferably Taboo. *comments and words said* Yay!! We’re playing Taboo!! *gets up to play* SEVERAL HOURS LATER.......... Okay, so now I’ve brought in the New Year and how did I do it? With mac n’ cheese and sparkling grape juice, baby! Yup, cheesy pasta and bubbling juice!! Well, I hope all of you enjoyed bringing in the New Year as much as I am enjoying my beverage at the moment. That break really messed a lot of people up, especially since we have finals next week. Bah! Semester Exams suck. Okay, so today when I got home from school, I enter the house and expect to see my sister sitting in her usual spot on the couch watching Reba, but she wasn’t so I thought nothing of it. However when I go to my room and open the door, she shoots at me from behind my computer chair where I can’t see her using the neighbors pellet gun right in my leg! That hurt!! Then, when I followed her over to the neighbor’s house he shot me in the back with the same gun! Those evil, murderous band of sporks!!(Sorry, it’s a Veggie Tales reference) I just want to strangle them both!! GAH!! Anyways not much has happened since Christmas break ended. I wish it could have lasted longer but, que sera sera. Oh wait!! My best friend Andi (xRuroni Kenshinx) may not be coming back to this school next semester because of some financial crap. I really don’t want her to leave! She’s been my best friend since forever and I love her like a sister! T_T (well, not my sister but...) It’s so sad... Speaking of sad, I really want to go to Ohayocon but probably wont. I haven’t really told my family, a.k.a. my source of a ride, about it or that I want to go. Also, I have yet to finish my Nekozawa costume and I want to go to my first convention as a cosplayer. *sigh* Oh well, I’ll just have to wait for another one. I wonder if they have any coming up in Michigan? Oh yeah. I have joined the Risembool Rangers incase a fellow ranger in the Otaku realm wanted to know. What I have realized is that now I get tons of mail from the RR. So much so that I have created a separate folder for all incoming Ranger-mail. It’s like: “*ping* 12 new messages” “*automatic thought* Ranger-mail...*clicks icon* I knew it.” So, unlike some people who get tons of mail all the time, I am unaccustomed to this mass amount of e-mail and it has become a burden to read it all because I would rather do other things on el web. Well, I've been sent here to tell you that she's feeling a little down during this holiday season. Also, she wasn't pleased that at last weeks post you didn't respond properly to her request. So, I will ask you, for her, again: Please list your favorite anime characters, but give no more than 10. This will be used in the upcoming year for reasons I am not allowed to reveal.    Christmas Time is Here!

You wanna know why? Seto: I’m sure they don’t, Amber. Also, you should put a “do” at the beginning of your last question to make it a standard question. Amber: Thank you Captain Obvious. Anyways, yesterday it was like in the 20s and it was all freezing cold and everything. But you know what? I woke up this morning thinking it was going to be as cold as it was yesterday, but no! Today we had a high of 55. Fifty-freaking-five! Seto: There’s no need to yell... Amber: Why can’t the weather make up its mind about the temperature! Either stay cold or be warm! So, Amber is currently working on a project for the Breast Cancer Awareness contest held here on theOtaku.com. She hasn’t done much to it yet though because she only started today. Also, she has created her Christmas list already. She ended up being very, how can I say this nicely; egotistical. When she printed it out it had a picture of herself at the top and a watermark of herself in the background under her list. She really has too much time on her hands. My band teacher is absolutely insane. Yesterday at our band party, instead of using a bowl like us normal people, he ate right out of an ice cream carton thing. He first ate the rest of the ice cream that was in it then scooped more ice cream in and continued to eat. I think he ate more ice cream than anyone else. However, he also was sick, so, afterwards, he ate some carrot sticks he had in his pocket. No wonder he’s not married; he’s a glutton. I’m surprised that he isn’t fat. But I wonder; can Canadians get fat? ... Disregard that last question. So, today my sister’s school band had their winter concert. It wasn’t all that though. They only played three songs; one-third was Christmas related. They should have played more to at lest make it last an hour. Yay! Only four more days of school and five more days until winter break starts! I’m so happy! Seto: Unlike yesterday. Amber: Seto, remember the “talk” we had yesterday? Seto: What talk we had...oh...Oh! I’ve just been distracted with other things; making amv’s, working on the contest pic, working on fan art and e-cards. Seto: Note how none of this had anything to do with schoolwork. Amber: Hey! I just haven’t had much homework this week is all. I mean, it’s the week before we get off for break. Speaking of, from Wednesday December 20 thru Tuesday January 2 I will be off for winter break! Yay! Now, during this time I don’t know if I will be posting more often or not so, don’t get your hopes up. Um...oh crap! I forgot what I was going to say next! I still can’t remember what I was going to say! *ponders a while* Oh yeah!! This weekend my mom wants me to look up five colleges I might be interested in going to and one has to be in state. So, if you guys know any schools out there with a good computer graphics program, let me know, and I’ll look it up. Also, I need your input on something yet again. Yes, it affects the future of this site. I would like you to list several of your favorite anime characters. There has to be more than two(2) but less than ten(10). For the sake of all things bright and beautiful, please don’t give me more than 10 characters! What are these lists going to be used for, you ask? Well, you’ll see in the near future.    I'm an Emo Kid...

Monday’s Rant _________________________ Ohio Time 8:51 pm-------Tokyo Time 10:51 am-------Currently Watching: A rerun of The Class Uh....I don’t know what to type....mainly because I’m trying to type while watching television. Seto: Bad idea, idiot. Amber: Hey! I couldn’t type it earlier because I was doing stuff...*starts watching tv* Seto: Stop that! Amber: Sorry! I just can’t pay attention too much...Okay! Commercials! So, this weekend I downloaded some raw episodes from OHSHC and went a little AMV happy today after school. Seto: That’s the stuff she was doing. Amber: It’s so awesome! I can’t wait to download the others! But it takes so long just to download one episode. It takes like an hour and it’s so annoying to wait for it to load! Last night, I did nothing productive and I didn’t even type a post for yesterday. Also, on the bus home from school, I fell asleep listening to my iPod. Anyways, yesterday I did work on an OHSHC spoof that I started on Monday. I think it’s really funny. It should be done and downloaded onto the inter-web by the end of this week. Speaking of the end of the week, this weekend the band is playing. We’re playing Saturday morning at church with the school choir then on Sunday night for our Christmas concert. I still need to work on one of the songs we’re playing though. The whole piece is a rough spot. Seto: Meaning you suck. Amber: Shut up! I never said that! Amber: Because, this morning on my way to school, it was snowing so hard and all the roads where jammed and backed up. I even got to school late! But by the end of the day all the roads where clear and there was hardly any snow or ice left on the ground because of the evil snow trucks and the sun! We never get enough snow for a snow day. Turkey Day/That's one ubber long post!

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series General Information _________________________ I most likely wont have a post for Wednesday-Friday this week because I’ll be visiting family on my dad’s side in Chicago. So...yeah. Okay, I kind of went overboard on Tuesday’s rant but it has some pretty interesting stuff in it so, forgive me! Oh! I have a new series that I found that I will start showing in my Vid of the Week segment. The videos are hilarious and I hope you enjoy them. Monday’s Rant _________________________ Ohio Time 5:57 pm-------Tokyo Time 7:57 am-------Currently Listening To: Fukai Mori – Inuyasha Well, this week I only have two days of school. Today the only classes I did work/ had homework in were Biology, Geometry, and Keyboarding. However, that doesn’t mean that I am off the hook. I still have tons of back work (especially in English) to finish. *sigh* Did I mention that I hate being sick because of the work I have to make up? I exercised my scanner today and scanned some pages from Ouran High School Host Club (OHSHC) and a mini comic I made for a bookmark titled “I am a Rock.” It’s tre magnefic! It is a portion of a story that I’m writing that is not seen/told. Well, sort of. The first panel follows the story but then after that I sort of play around with it and spoof Naruto a little. As a matter of fact, here, you read it: For those of you who are curious, the little saying my character is saying in the first panel means “Yahoo, I won!” I got it off of a FF spoof I found on newgrounds.com. If I find it on You Tube I’ll put it up. If not, then I give you the link next week. Yay! I finally downloaded Shissou from OHSHC onto my comp; now I have both it and Sakura Kiss! I’m so happy! It is one of my absolute favorite anime related songs. Also on my list are: • Melissa – FMA • Love Slave – dearS • Kokou no Tsubasa – Prince of Tennis (drools over singers voice) • Toki O Koeru Omoi – Inuyasha • Wind – Naruto And • Motherland – sung by Crystal Kay (not quite sure if it belongs to an anime) Then, of course, there are others that I don’t know the title or the origin of that I absolutely love! Yup! If you haven’t heard some of them you should! Seto: Hmm... Hey Amber, you know what I’ve noticed? Amber: What? Seto: Your posts for Monday seem to be irregularly long compared to the others most of the time. Why is that? Amber: Uh... Seto: ... Amber: Um... Seto: ......... Amber: Heh! It’s probably because I go over what happened on Sunday as well as today because I’m too lazy to type a post for that day. X3 Seto: It took you that long to figure it out? Anyways, I finally cleared up some space off my poor overstuffed lappy. I moved all my picture files onto a flash drive and placed them onto my home computer. Yup, now I have 1.37 GB of free space left! Seto: That’s pathetic. Amber: Shut up! My hard drive isn’t that large to begin with! Seto: Oh yeah? How much do you have overall? Amber: *mumble* Seto: What was that? I couldn’t hear you. :-0 Amber: *mumbles louder* Seto: I still can’t hear you. |:-0 Amber: 5.58 GB... Seto: -_-; Amber: Well, do you have anything to say? Well, technically we’ll be in Chicago with his family, but we’re going to Michigan first. Don’t question our motives. Oh! Today on the bus ride home I bugged the crap out of the kid sitting behind me. I turned around and started talking to him even though he wanted me to shut up. Ops! Dairy Queen Break! *insert elevator music here* Forgive me as I try to type and eat at the same time. As a matter of fact...*goes off to eat her blizzard* Seto: Uh...amber will be back in a few minutes. Rant interrupted. So since this kid wouldn’t tell me anything about himself (i.e. name, age, grade) I made stuff up. His name is Bob and he’s 21 years old. He weighs 45 lb and is a pro wrestler with black hair, a mustache, and a beard. Unfortunately, he can’t get the lady’s because he’s ugly. Now, what I do know about Bob is that he watches/draws anime. He likes Naruto, One Piece, Hikaru no Go, and Death Note. How did I find this out? Amber: So do you like anime? Bob: I like to draw it. Amber: Cool! So do I! Do you watch Naruto? Bob: Yes. Amber: Do you watch the English version on Cartoon Network? Bob: Yes. Amber: Well you shouldn’t! The English dub sucks!! Bob: ... Amber: Do you watch One Piece? Bob: Yes. Amber: Well you shouldn’t! The English dub sucks!! Bob: ......... Amber: Who’s your favorite character on Naruto? Bob: Sasuke. Amber: Sasuke sucks! Gaara is better!! Bob: ..................... Amber: Who’s your favorite One Piece character? Bob: Luffy. Amber: Eh...Luffy’s okay... Yup! That’s practically how it went! Seto: You have serious issues don’t you? Amber: <|:-3 Seto: Remind me, why do I hang out with you? Amber: Because you have no other friends besides your brother. Seto: I have lackeys! Amber: Those don’t count... Seto: Don’t question me!! Anyways, I just found out that one of my friends may move to Indianapolis! Her mom has/had a job interview and she will be making, like, twice as much as her current job. So, if she gets the job then they will move out there and I’ll lose another friend to Indiana Academy! They’re all conspiring against me! I don’t want her to leave me! She’s been my best friend since we met in Kindergarten and if she leaves then we won’t be able to graduate together and my group of friends will dwindle and...*goes off into random babble* Seto: Since someone can’t stay on topic for more than a few minutes I guess I’ll end this post here. Amber: *pauses babble* Wait! I still have to talk about dubbing! Seto: Not today Amber, not today. Amber: *hangs head* Aw... Rant concluded. Wednesday’s Rant ________________________ Michigan Time 11:49 am-------Tokyo Time 1:49 pm------- Currently Listening To: Song Title – Origin o.O ...My sister (jones001; 14 years old) is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and is actually doing what they say to do. O.O Now she is doing some random crazy dance with them... I don’t know how she can watch that stuff. Seto: O.o I question your sister. Amber: As well you should. I’m changing the channel. Seto: GOOD! Amber: Ah, that’s much better. Let’s watch...uh...whatever this is. Anyways, onto my Naruto dubbing rant. *looks at TV* Mah! They have a Boomerang-a-long sing-a-long to the Scooby Doo theme song. I’ll just stop watching television and type this... Now, onto my Naruto dubbing rant. So, this past weekend I was at my grandparent’s house and there wasn’t much to do so I decided to watch some Toonami. Now, I haven’t been watching anime on Toonami in a while and I’ve seen past what their showing on television. So, I thought “Meh, what the heck. I’ll see how far they’ve gone.” On came the opening theme song. The first thing I noticed was that they actually used one of the Japanese songs. However, they didn’t use the original opening for the song. They only used scenes from the anime and clips from other openings. Tsk tsk tsk. For shame. Afterwards, the anime started and it made me want to gauge out my ears. I had never realized how horribly they had tortured the characters voices! Only after watching the original Japanese dubbing for the longest while did I realize how awful the English dub was. I’m sorry to those of you who like to watch the English version, but I don’t like it anymore. It’s simply awful and you can’t change my mind. I mean, they absolutely tortured Naruto, Shikamaru, and Gaara’s voice! It pierced me through the soul! Seto: Quite passionate about your voice actors aren’t you? Amber: Yes, yes I am! Seto: Amber... Amber: Yes? Seto: No more sugary cereal for breakfast for you. Oh! Guess what? They have a horseracing channel. Yes, that’s right. A whole channel for horseracing. Seto: Oh, really? *starts tiptoeing off* Amber: *grabs Seto by the collar* No betting for you. Seto: Awww... Well, that’s all I have to say for now. Rant conclude. Amber: Ooh! The Game Show Network! I just can’t wait to get on the road again! So, now we’re on our way to Chicago where we will stay at my uncle and his family’s house. It sure is going to be crowded considering the fact that their family (4), us in this van (4), my step-moms sister and her kids in the car behind us (3), my grandparents (2), and one of my step-moms other siblings and their spouse (2) are all going to be there. That’s 15 people! Well, I don’t want to make this post too long, so I’ll end it here. Rant concluded...again. Thursday’s Rant ________________________ Chicago Time 9:43 am-------Tokyo Time 12:43 pm------- Currently Listening To: I think it’s a song from Naruto but I’m not sure Okay, so today is the official day of eating turkey and pumpkin pie and stuffing and cranberry sauce. I hope you enjoy yourselves today with all the food and football. Oh, guess what? I made my apple pie and it is in the oven as we speak. The people who observed me making it were confused at my preparations though. They wonder why I don’t put a top crust on it and why I only use brown sugar to “season” it instead of the “traditional” cinnamon and/or all spice. Well, my pie is special and I like the way I make it. It tasted good the first and only other time I’ve made it, so I decided to make it again because there was no apple pie to be eaten. Only pumpkin and Oreo. The turkey is already cooked and so is the stuffing. Later other delicacies will be made to consume. I can’t wait till everyone gets here and we all get to eat. So far everything looks and smells good even though it’s still morning and we woke up only a few hours ago. I’m tempted to defragment them too but I don’t feel like it. Tuesday’s Rant ________________________ Ohio Time 10:23 pm-------Tokyo Time 12:23 pm-------1 day till my Sweet 16-------Currently Listening To: Nothing Seto: Since Amber was too lazy to type a post for today and decided to read her new Shonen Jump magazine, you are going to read the first section of “The Marriganth Fairytale” which was written by her. From what I know, you have been previously informed about this story. Well, here it is. It was a bright and sunny day in the land of Marriganth. The flowers were blooming brightly and the grass was soft and a nice color of green. The peaks of the mountains were lightly powdered with snow that glistened with the rays of sun gleaming off of it. Marriganth was a wonderful place with perfect weather year round. In a valley in this beautiful land, blood was spilt across the great, green grass and the brightly painted flowers. The sun shone off of the pools of blood and the body that it poured from. Near the bloody carcass was a tall, luminous figure clad in dark armor, wielding a sword, and splattered in the blood of his victim. Who was the victim? She was the princess of Marriganth, Belmair. Who was the murderer? He was the prince of the kingdom Michiko, Mattheus, who was a tall, dark and handsome heart throb with homicidal tendencies. Why did he do this, you ask; for the mere fact that he hated her. You see, Belmair was his bride-to-be. They were to be married on the first of the upcoming month to unite the two neighboring kingdoms. However, he did not want to marry her. He thought of her as an annoying little bug that needed to be dealt with. She would always come to visit at the worst of times. He tried to go through with suicide; however she stopped him before he could. There was no way for him to leave her. Therefore, he lured her out to the field of violets and poppies and slaughtered her. “That should do it.” Mattheus murmured as he brushed his ebony locks out of his smoky gray eyes. Placing his sword, which he named Mazohisuto meaning masochist, back into its sheath, he walked over to a beautiful babbling brook near by to wash the blood off his face and his onyx armor. The cool water felt good against his hands after having slain the princess when he placed them into the brook and cupped the water in his hands. As he cleaned himself, the crystal clear water soon became tainted with the crimson blood of Belmair. Looking over his shoulder, he eyed the work that had been done and contemplated what to do next. Should he move the body and discard it in one of the many dark ravines that dotted the mountains? No, it would just get more blood on him and what would be the fun in not knowing how everyone would react when they saw her severed little being. So he left her to the ravens that circled above in the beautiful morning sky and to anything else that desired to feast upon her flesh. After making his decision, Mattheus shook the water off his hands and mounted his black stallion Kurokawa, which meant black river, who was grazing near by. “Giddy up!” he called out, guiding Kurokawa into a gallop. He headed away from the field of poppies and death and started his journey back to Michiko and the comfort of his home. Unbeknownst to Mattheus, an ominous, mysterious robed figure gazed on from the shadows of a nearby patch of trees. “What be this?” They thought to themselves. “A murder of sorts! Bloodlust! This young man has me intrigued. I shall watch him more closely, that I shall.” With that, they merged back into the shadows. On a sad note, I’m sick on my birthday. I went to the doctors yesterday and discovered that I have an upper respiratory infection. For now he put me on a cough suppressant, but if I get worse in the next couple of days then he prescribed an antibiotic for me to take. The cough suppressant is some nasty purple syrup. Blech! Oh yeah, and for the first time since I was younger I vomited! Seto: Is that really something you should be bragging about? No, I don’t think so. Amber: Aw! But I was about to go into details. They’re going to start serializing “Yu-Gi-Oh! GX” next month. Did this perturb anyone else besides me? Speaking of new serializations, they’re starting Gin Tama next month as well. When I read the article they had of the main character, Sakata Gintoki, it made me want to read it and sounds like a very promising manga. I’m contemplating buying the manga for myself. I wonder if it’s out on the shelves. Sounds like something to look into next time I go to the bookstore. I mean, I have all the classes that I have on Monday on Wednesday and since I didn’t have school yesterday, it was like I had just come out of the weekend. *sigh* Well, at least the week is halfway over already. WAAAAAAIIIIIII!!! My birthday is exactly one week from today and I’m so excited that I just can’t hide it! I’m about to loose control and I think I like it! So, yes while I was in the locker room getting ready for my next class I decided to text one of my friends who wasn’t at school today something that had happened so that I wouldn’t forget because I am a very forgetful person. It went something like this: Amber is standing in front of her school bag which is lying on the floor near one of the walls. From around the corner of the room where the stalls and the sinks are, her ChlDev teacher comes. ChlDev Teacher: Hi Amber! Amber: Hello. ChlDev Teacher turns to look directly at Amber as she passes her on her way out of the locker room. ChlDev Teacher: Oh, I wish I hadn’t seen that. I’m gonna have to take that. Amber: Okay. *hands over cell phone without protest or any negative vibes* (aren’t I an obedient person?) Yup, that was pretty much it. I wasn’t too phased by it; I mean I’ll get it back on Monday. No big deal. Sure I’ll get a demerit but by the end of next week I will have earned a merit which shall overpower and destroy the offending demerit and wipe it from history and my memory. As they say, out of sight, out of mind. Okay, so I told you guys that today at lunch my friend (the one who happened not to be at school today) were going to make a documentary of our lunch table today. Well, that didn’t happen. Oh well, we’ll just do it another day. This weekend I go with my Daddy up to Michigan. Since my birthday is next week we’re going to have an early birthday party for me because the next time we’re with him is going to be too late for a birthday party. So...yeah... It’s just funny to hear Seto say “shiny new dragon” and yet at the same time you just want to ban him from using the word “shiny” ever again. I’ll find that clip and put it up as this week’s vid if I can but I can’t promise anything. I bet you’re wondering why I titled this post “POW.” Simple: P--------restige O-----------men W-------------olf ^_^ Sunday’s Rant _________________________ Time 00:00 Too lazy ~_~ zzzz Monday’s Rant _________________________ Time 5:34 pm Saturday night we had a band concert where we played classical music. There were some spots here and there where we messed up, *coughsaxaphonescough*, but we got some positive feedback, so it’s all good. Afterwards I went to a friend’s house for her birthday party. We went to see “The Prestige.” It wasn’t too bad but it was disturbing at some parts. Afterwards, when we got back to her house, we talked and listened to some music before watching “The Wolf” or whatever the title is. It’s a movie about a group of students who write a chain letter about a fake serial killer that ends up coming true. However, *SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING!* it ends up just being the other students trying to scare the new kid who ends up killing one of the teachers. *SPOILER OVER* Some parts are really graphic though. Last, we watched “The Omen” which everyone fell asleep watching. It wasn’t too frightening but there were parts that where disturbing and scary. Last night when I tried to fall asleep, I would close my eyes only to see images of demons and scary scenes from the movie. When I tried to daydream like I normally do to help myself go to sleep, that didn’t help because it only turned my imagination into something graphic and bloody. I even saw myself with severed and bloody skin, dying in the middle of a dark and black room. It really creeped me out! Fortunately, I got to sleep. Today was dress down day at school, so everyone wore jeans and tee shirts or whatever fit their fancy. Also, we got two new students; a freshman and a sophomore. I don’t think I have any classes with them though, but it bothers me not. I worked on the script for the movie my friends and I are going to do. One of my friends even has made her costume ready already. She’s the one who is cosplaying as Kenshin. She was going to be more than one person but I talked her out of it. I wouldn’t want her to go and spend a whole lot of money on a bunch of costumes. Anyways, my birthday is coming up and I’m so excited! I’ll finally be 16. I even have a countdown on my phone. Ah! 16 days until I’m 16! How perfect is that? Oh yes, my birthday is on November 15 for those of you who want to know. Squeeee! I can’t wait! Rant concluded. Tuesday’s Rant ________________________ Time 7:05 pm Although it doesn’t really matter because this is all going to be posted at the same time, I’m sorry for writing this so late. I made dinner for my mommy tonight. I made fettuccini, garlic bread, jello, pumpkin muffins, and we had a salad. She said it was really good but it made her sleepy which is bad because she has a paper to write for one of the classes she is taking. I hope she finishes it on time. As most of you know, tonight is Halloween but, no, I didn’t have any candy for the trick-or-treaters. The first group that came to our door didn’t even have a costume on though. So, I just yelled “Feel the wrath of my knife!” from inside of the house and watched them walk away. The second group that came was so precious! They were these three little boys; two dressed as batman (I think they were twins) and one dressed as superman. My mom felt so bad that she forgot to buy candy after she saw them. She was going to take a picture but she didn’t. No one else has come as of yet. My next-door neighbor lent me Cromartie High School vol. 1-4. I’m on book four and it’s a pretty interesting manga. If you’re into the whole high school gangster/punk thing you should read it. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you but at my friends b-day we also watched “The Lake House.” It’s a pretty good movie as well. My friends boyfriend broke up with her. When I got to school this morning she was crying and it was all sad because it was such a total shocker to all of us. So, just a few minutes ago I called him and asked him why he broke up with her and he was quiet for a while before saying “Never mind, just forget about it. I gotta go.” I will be calling him later today. Uh… I was going to say something else but I forgot what it was. So far, on the script for “When Anime Worlds Collide”, I have two written pages and three characters have been introduced into the skit; Osaka and Chiyo from “Azumanga Daioh” and Kenshin from “Ruroni Kenshin.” Other than that nothing much has happened in my life. All was going well until lunch time. What happened to make my day so bad, you ask? Well you see, I was sitting with my friends, chatting away and eating and everything else that goes on at lunch when suddenly, my hot chocolate randomly splashes onto my white shirt! One of the upperclassmen had thrown an egg patty across the lunch room that hit my hot cocoa causing it to splash onto my shirt. We don’t even know who did it because no one saw it coming. Fortunately, I was able to get a shirt from the office to wear the rest of the day until I left, then I changed back and returned it. Guess what? For all of November, December, and January we get a 2:30 dismissal on Fridays. Yay! *cue trumpet player for taps* Today, we mourn the death of my mothers car. She was a good car (a maroon Volvo) ran for 10+ years in moderate condition. Unfortunately, she just couldn’t make it one more day and was sadly towed home last night around 6:30 pm. We will forever remember her in our hearts as her soul goes to the great highway in the sky where she can drive freely with all the other foreign cars of her type. May she rest in peace.    Whatever

Sunday’s Rant _________________________ Time 00:00 -NONE- Monday’s Rant _________________________ Time 5:52 pm Today not much happened so I’m just going to start typing about this weekend until something comes to me. This weekend I stayed over at a friend’s house and I was the first person to visit her house in seven years. I think I told you that already though. Anyways, she has so many pets and they are so cute! She has like three chinchilla, two rabbits, four turtles, and three cats that I know of. I think I also saw a lizard aquarium but I wasn’t paying too much attention. Since she redid her room, it was painted all brown (her mom wouldn’t let her paint it black). It was pretty cool. At first, we didn’t really know what to do so we were listening to music and leaving weird messages on peoples answering machines and I laughed for over four minutes straight. Then we decided to go around her neighborhood wearing black cloaks and carrying brooms. We walked over a mile. It was really fun because we would stop and stare at any car that passed us on the road and we were talking about some pretty stupid stuff in British accents. Also, we watched Over the Hedge, which is a really good movie even though I fell asleep while watching part of it. Anyways, I had a good time. Yesterday, after my mom picked me up from my friend’s house, we went to the Waffle House then to the movie theater. My sister and I saw Monster House, which is a good movie too. There were a whole bunch of smaller children and pre-teens there though. My sister was expecting some of them to scream at some parts of the movie, but none of them did. She called it a “horror movie for kids, only without the death.” It was interesting I must say. Today in English class, we had to read, in front of the class, a monolog we had written for one of the stories we had read. The story is called something along the lines of “The Friends” or something, but it’s not as fruity as it sounds. It is about two men who like to fish together; the setting is the Franco-Prussian war. So the decide to go fishing outside of the city of Paris despite the fact that they could be caught by the Prussian army. As it so happens, they are captured by the Prussians and are taken back to the enemy camp. There, they’re threatened into telling the leader of the camp the password so that they can get into the city. However, neither of the men gives up the password and are shot and tossed in the river. Our assignment was to write what we thought one of the men was thinking as he is about die. I would put up what I wrote but I left it at school. My teacher thought it was sad. Oh yeah, yesterday after we came from the movies, my mom dropped us off at the new bookstore I was telling you about. There, I bought Shojo Beat magazine because I was one dollar short of buying a book. Now, I have to buy Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat because I’m hooked. But, you know what makes me mad? While I was at the checkout desk thing, the lady never asked for my Borders Rewards card! I had my wallet all out and ready for her to ask me if I had one but she never asked if I had one or even persuade me into getting one! I saw her ask the dude in front of me but she never asked me! There was even a stack of ready-to-persuade-customers-into-taking cards right by her hand! What the heck!! You know, I think it was because I was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. Maybe she thought I was evil or maybe I intimidated her or something. Why me! I need to by over $37 dollars worth of books before the end of the month so I can cash in my reward points or whatever. I am insulted. Next time I’m taking my card out with my cash so that they have no excuse not to ask. Tch! Now I’m pissed. Rant concluded. Tuesday’s Rant ________________________ Time 6:25 Okay, not much to type today because I’m working on some fan art. To be precise, I’m coloring some of the fan art that I already have up on theO. So, yeah. Oh yeah, my sister is sick so today she stayed home from school. I hope she gets better. Rant concluded. Wednesday’s Rant ________________________ Time 4:50 I have powers! Today at lunch, the friend whose house I stayed over at informed me that she has started watching Ouran High School Host Club! She’s already on episode six. This is great! However, my day started off not so great. This morning, I arrived at my locker and was taking out and putting in stuff as usual. When it came time for me to take off my coat, I hung my backpack by the shoulder strap over the door as I normally do. Unfortunately, this time the strap broke making it useless to me. I had to use duct tape to hold the single strap to the rest of my backpack. Then, I had to do note checks in band (which is a thing where we schedule a time to come in and we record selected parts of our band music so he can see how we are doing) and I murdered those songs even though I had practiced last night. It was awful. This just isn’t my week. Today I got my pictures from picture re-take day and I look so pwetty! ^_^ If I get a chance I’ll scan a pic and let you guys see it. Oh yeah, yesterday the guy who lives next door to me shot me in the leg with his pellet gun and it hurt so much! It even left a little red mark where it hit me. This just isn’t my week. Rant concluded. Thursday’s Rant ________________________ Time 6:37 Guess what? My school was mentioned today in the local paper (the Dayton Daily News) for what we’re going to do tomorrow. What exactly are we going to do, you ask? Well tomorrow is some sort of “Community Service Day” but for us it’s “Practical Christian Service Day” were we’re gong to execute Project Mpact (yes, I spelled it right). The entire high school is going out into the community to do community service under whatever we signed up to do. I’m dong landscaping. We’ve been told that it’s supposed to rain tomorrow and it’s going to be cold like it’s been lately so we’ve got to dress warmly. I’ll tell you how it went in tomorrows rant if I have time or remember. Today my book bag broke again as I was walking down the hall. This time I went to get some yarn-like substance from the art room. I don’t remember what the art teacher called it but it isn’t yarn. Whatever. So, now my backpack strap has string attaching it to the bag tied in multiple knots, braided together, tied in more knots, and covered in duct taped. It’s held up so far I just hope it lasts longer than just plain duct tape did yesterday. I’ve worked on more fan art and even original art that I might put up on theO. You’ll just have to wait and see. Rant concluded. Friday’s Rant ________________________ Time 6:49 It has been raining all day today. My group for Project Mpact was supposed to be doing landscaping, but we got rained out and had to do work inside.
