   Spirit Week Oct. 9-13

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series General Information

When I chose the Quote of the Week (oh yeah, I changed the name since I am posting by the week) it made me thing of Full Metal Alchemist and the seven deadly sins. You know, Homer could so totally be Gluttony. *ping* Fan art idea right there! Excellent…
Just so you know, Wednesday’s rant is King Kong Kameha-meha long so, if you don’t want to read all those words then please feel free to skim or skip it. Oh, and don't forget to read my post for this week which is the post before this one. Just go into the archives to read it and take my poll.

Sunday’s Rant

Today I half prepared for spirit week, half worked on my Nekozawa cosplay. You see, I borrowed some ace bandages and a cane from my grandpa for injury day and a flannel shirt and a hat from my grandpa for country day. As for Nekozawa, I started on the cloak. However, I only have two parts cut out. But I did go buy some felt for Beelzenef. I’m planning on hand sewing him at home and working on my cloak at my grandparent’s house on the weekend. I just hope Baa-chan doesn’t try to work on my cloak without my permission. She already said she wanted to help me with it, though I forbade her. Also, my sister is now going to make a cloak for herself, the little copy cat. She bought a pattern and cloth for it at the same time I got thread for the cloak and Beelzenef. *sigh* Oh the joy’s of owning a little sister.
I finally got the next SJ magazine and bought the Zombie Powder manga at the new Borders they built right outside the mall. That place is awesome! It’s so big and has the largest collection of manga I have seen in any of the book stores that I go to. They even sell Ouran High School Host Club!! My sister was about to pass out from excitement when she started looking around. Now that there’s a Borders near my house I can use my Borders Rewards card more often and catch up on all my lost time so I can at least have something for my holiday shopping days on the card.
Oh! When our mom heard about my sister making a cloak as well she said she was curious about us and that if she finds her in her room “bowing to candles and making weird stars she would definitely send her back to the academy (Spring Valley Academy, my school). But then again, they’re obviously doing it there to” (referring to me and my friends and our cloak plan). Yeah, our mom is weird like that. Anyway, that’s all I have to say.

Today was Country Day in the line up of spirit week. So I went to school in a pair of jeans, a brown-ish blue-ish white-ish flannel shirt, a straw hat, boots, and my friend Fredrick Princeton. Who is Fredrick Princeton you ask? Why, he is Freddy the Fox Pelt and he is the fuzziest and softest thing ever. However, not everyone appreciates his softness and flee from the very sight of him. It makes him very sad when people run away. Anyways, yes, I took a dead animal to school today. There is this one girl in my class named Kylie (or however you spell her name) and she was so freaked out by him that if he even got near her she would scream. It was quite amusing actually. At the end of the day, before I got on the bus, some of the guys took her hat and put Fredrick in it. After they took him back out they placed the hat on her head and she started screaming loudly in the hall. Yeah, I’m not bringing him back to school again because she threatened to burn him at the stake. I would rather not have that happen for the mere fact that Fredrick doesn’t even belong to me. He belongs to my grandfather. And you know what? It was mostly the guys who liked him anyways. It was pretty amusing because they always wanted to see him and touch him and scare people with him. It was funny though. Oh, the joy of being in high school.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this in yesterday’s rant but, I was surfing through the channels to see what was on television when I happened upon Cartoon Network and Pokemon. Yes, I watch Pokemon still if it’s on and there is nothing else worth watching on. Anyways, it was the new season for whatever region they are doing this time. I really don’t keep up with those kinds of things. However, when I started watching it, I was appalled and mentally screamed in anguish. They had changed the voice actors for all the characters yet again and this time, for the worse. Ash’s voice was totally destroyed, May and Brock’s voice actors sounded like they were trying to sound like the previous voice actors but they didn’t succeed, Max’s voice was awful, Meowth’s voice was destroyed, and the only two that sounded somewhat normal or even close to the previous ones were Jessie and James, but you could still totally tell they were different. It was horrible to sit through the terrible dubbing of this new season. What has Pokemon come to? I mean, I think that Team Rocket has gotten weaker and James has gotten gayer. Also, most of the time it sounds like it’s the first time they have read the lines. They have totally destroyed it! *weep* Just… just play re-runs of the first season, please. It would be much better than the torture they are feeding us now.
Speaking of Pokemon, there is a kid that rides my bus in the morning who is some sort of Pokemon otaku to the max. He plays the games on his SP, I think he has the cards, plus he will sit in the back with some of the other kids and start doing imitations of the different Pokemon; Wobbafet being his favorite. It is so annoying especially since it’s only in the morning at like 7:40. I just wish he would shut up for one minute about Pokemon! Well, that’s my rant for the day.

Today was sports day. Unfortunately I did not participate for the simple fact that I own nothing sporty. I’m not into sports at all so I don’t own a team jersey or hat or anything. So, yeah.
Today in study hall I created a myO site for my friend. Her account is IxNxUxFxAxN so go check her out if you want. However, she may not update that often so, be patient with her. But she did say that now that I made her get an Otaku site she is going to have to make me get a My Space account. If that ever happens I’ll tell you guys about it but I probably wont update it as often as I do myO account.
Last night I found out that my parents changed the visitation rights now that my dad has moved to Michigan to go to Andrews. Now, he will have us with him every second weekend of the month, meaning I will be with my dad this weekend. Therefore, this post may be late or not until Monday or later on Saturday night.
Speaking of this weekend, Sunday is my step-mom’s birthday. I don’t know how old she is going to be but all I know is that she is way older than my dad and that her birthday is one month before mine.
Speaking of birthdays and being with my dad, my friend is having her birthday party on the 28th of this month, which is a Saturday night, and I think that’s a weekend that I’ll be with my dad. Well, that’s a conundrum. I guess we’ll have to work something out. *sigh* So much stuff going on in my life.
Oh, on Monday night I made Beelzenef. Unfortunately he is a darker yellow than the original and I made his little hands too small for my fingers to fit in, but my friends and other people at school think that he is still cute. Oh well.
Rant concluded.

Time – 4:19
Today was the Fall Picnic and it was so fun but right now I am so sore from all that we did today. First off, we were put into teams and today we were obligated to wear our team color. I was on the Orange/Yellow team.
The first thing we did was the skits. They gave us a bag with some objects that you would probably see everyday. We had to use all the items in the bag to create a skit that had a spiritual meaning in it and it was pretty fun. Many of the skits were generally good considering we only had about five minutes to come up with a skit and perform it in front of everyone.
The second thing we did was the newspaper pile game. Each team was given a stack of newspapers and with that stack you were supposed to take the newspapers and crumple them up into balls and make a pile as big as you possibly can. The thing was that after five minutes, after you were given a chance to create your piles, they gave you three minutes to go around and try to steal newspaper from other team’s piles. Our team would have won because everyone agreed that we stole much more newspapers than the other team. However, since our team was probably the most vulnerable, a lot of the other teams stole from our pile. Therefore, we ended up with the smallest pile. It was pretty sad but we kept our team in high spirits.
After the newspaper game, we went out to the back soccer field to do the car pushing game thing. One member would be in the truck steering blindfolded in neutral while up to nine other members pushed the car, or rather, the truck. You had to drive through a course marked by cones and try to get the fastest time without knocking over any cones. At the end there was a larger cone that you had to touch the front of the car to without knocking it over. We got second place in that with a time of 1:40:15. We would have gotten first but the last team that went got a better time that us. But it was all good; we kept chanting our team colors.
Next was the egg toss. You should all know what that consists of. We didn’t even place I don’t think, but we came close.
Then we had a break, but after the break we did a food relay. In this relay the first person had to take three big bites out of an apple on a string without using their hands. The second person had to eat a piece of pumpkin pie with lots of whip cream on top without using their hands. The third person had to chew two pieced of what I think was double bubble gum and blow a bubble at least three inches in size. After that we had to have one person on the ground while another person was standing on a chair above them to drop pudding into their mouth with a spoon. The had to eat the whole pudding cup. Then the next person had to eat two saltine crackers and whistle. Finally, the last person had to stick their face into a bowl of flour and find the six gummy worms that where hidden in it. It was pretty funny to watch people come back from that one. The person who did it on our team ended up getting flour into his sinuses and trouble breathing through his nose for a while and was sneezing. But don’t worry; he was fine later after the flour cleared out of his nose. It was sort of funny though because we were half joking with him about him looking like he had a failed attempt at sniffing coke.
Whoa! It just started thunder storming. It’s all raining hard and thundering and everything. I hope the power doesn’t go out. But I digress.
After the food relay we had the four legged race. Yes, four not three, meaning we had to have three people tied together. It was really hard too. I participated in it and I was a center person. Let’s just say it didn’t go over too well. It wasn’t too bad though. I mean, we only fell once, but enough about that.
Next we had a cheer competition thing. Everyone was given fifteen minutes to come up with a cheer for our team. Once the time was up we would perform our cheer in front of all the other teams. Ours was the best because we were the most organized and had a clean performance. Plus we were loud and they understood what we were saying. What our team did was chant/sang our team colors to the tune of “We Will Rock You” and we stood in a line with tallest in the back and shortest in the front and went up and down depending on what our part was. Then at the end we did a chant that went “What it is.” “Number one!” “What it ain’t.” “Number two!” “What it’s gonna be.” “Better than you!” “Where it at?” “Yellow Orange!” It was really fun to do. But the team after us stole our ending chant thing and put their team color in place of “yellow orange”. What ever.
Then we finally had lunch.
After lunch we went back to the gym and played some more games. The first one was the dress a faculty member game where we would use construction paper, tape, markers, yarn, aluminum foil, safety pins, hair bands, a bed sheet, and a roll of crepe paper to come up with a creative outfit for our team’s director. It was really fun too. Ours was the Spanish teacher and we used the bed sheet as a dress thing and we gave her an Indian headdress thing made of aluminum foil and crepe paper with a princess style hat thing on top. Then we gave her shoulder spikes made of construction paper and wings of aluminum foil. We also wrapped her forearms in crepe paper and put pipe cleaners on her glasses. For the final touches we put a sign on her that had “Orange” hanging in front of her and “Yellow” on the back (or was it the other way around?) and a torch thing made of construction paper with aluminum foil in the top. It was really cool looking too. I wonder if I can get a copy of the pic they took of all the teachers. If I can I will definitely put it up here so you can see all the teachers that got “decorated”. Each of the others had awesome names though which were: Rosspunzel (white team; teacher Mr. Donovan Ross--math), The Green Machine (green team; teacher Mr. Boison--art), The Baby Smurf (blue team; teacher Mr. Schnell--freshman bible, school counselor), The “Bling” Fairy (pink/purple team; teacher Pastor Elliot—bible teacher, school Chaplin), Toga Man (black team; teacher Mr. Trevor Ross--science ), Some sort of demon thing(red team; Mr. Abbott—practical technology teacher, history teacher), and The Grey something(grey team; Mrs. Holey—home ec teacher). You should have seen them all. Oh well.
Next was the hula hoop pass game where each team got in a circle and passed the hula hoop around the circle and we had to go through the hoop while keeping our hands connected. It was fun too though we got second place in that race.
After that one we had a people scramble which is a game where in the center of the gym is our group sponsor and on the side facing them was the group. When a certain item or action was called for the first person or group of people to reach their sponsor with that item or doing that action would receive a point. It was pretty interesting to see some of the things that were called out e.g., a five person chorus line, white socks, a barefoot person, sunglasses, and a textbook of which the latter two no one had. It was still fun though.
Then we had a scooter race. Originally it was supposed to be a scooter and plunger race where you could only use the plunger to move the scooter across the gym but two of the plungers broke and it was going way too slowly. In the end they made it so that you only had to have your butt on the scooter at all times. In the finals I ended up running over my thumb but all’s well that ends well.
Next was a game called over and under. The way this game went was that you would have a line of ten people per team and the first person in the line would either pass it to the person behind them over their head or under their legs. The person receiving the ball would do the opposite of what the person in front of them and the ball would go down the line in this manner. When it reached the last person they would have to crawl under the legs of everyone else in front of them until they reached the front where they would become the first person in line. This would go on and on until the person who was originally first in line was first again. It was fun but some of the people on our team got hurt. One girl got floor burn on her knee really bad and one guy’s knees and arms where really red. I bruised both of my knees from crawling as well.
Our final event was the tug of war where two teams faced off at a time. After that my hands where so sore that it hurt to bend them out of the curled position they had been in from pulling on the rope. We won fourth place in that event but could have done better had we known that for two of the times we were at the rope one of our members was missing. So two of the times we had done it with only nine members instead of the required ten. He thought that we didn’t have to go anymore after we had gone and went to get a drink. Oh well, it’s all over now so it doesn’t matter.
When all the events were over they calculated the scores that had been accumulated throughout the entire day and Pink/Purple won first place and a trip to Taco Bell. But that’s okay because our team, Yellow/Orange, came in second place and won the trip to Dairy Queen so I’m fine with it.
Well, I’m still a little sore and don’t have that much to say after all that I already have so, rant concluded.

Time – 4:30
Today was injury day. I had two bandages forming an “x” on my right cheek and an ace bandage wrapped around my head and over my left eye which, coincidently, made me look like a very injured Kakashi-sensei or so my friends say. I also had a very large medical bandage on my left leg but you couldn’t see it very well because my skirt covered it up. On top of that I was walking around with a cane. It was quite interesting because when I got on the bus this morning one kid thought that I had gotten into a fight. Then when I transferred over to my other bus some other kid thought that I had poked my eye out. I had to explain to both of them that it was spirit week at my school and today was injury day. It was still really interesting how they thought I was actually injured. When I got to school some kids had really gotten into it and had makeup on that made them look bruised and bloody. Plus some where walking around on crutches or had slings and wrist protector things for when you sprain your wrist. One guy even came in with a neck brace! Over all, it was a pretty good day.
Unfortunately there was still a not so good side to today. My legs where so sore from yesterday that it was painful to sit down and get up and even walk sometimes. Also since I had the ace bandage over one of my eyes it was hard to see and read and eat. I figured out that I had covered my good eye. The optometrist said that I had almost perfect vision in one eye but was going near sighted in the other eye, which I found to be true today. There was no way that I could read things that where a distance away from me. I was in keyboarding class and tried to read something on the other side of the room but could not. It was blurry and I had to squint to barely make anything out. And when I was eating at lunch, my distance perception was off so I was leaning over my food so that I wouldn’t drop anything or miss my mouth. I even swerved my spoon once when trying to bring it to my mouth. Today was pretty interesting for me considering my “injury”.
It was really cold today! As it gets later and later into fall the weather gets colder and colder. This morning I was running later than I normally do and rushed out the house without a coat. I ended up waiting for my bus for five minutes out in the freezing cold. Then today at school, I heard from some students that had been out on the back field for PE or something that it had snowed! I am defiantly going to have to wear a nice warm coat and gloves from now on.

Right now I am on the road on my way to Michigan with my dad. We’re supposed to get there around 10:30 so this is going to be a long road trip, though not as long as it would be to get to Florida.
Anyways, today was pajama day at school as an end to our spirit week. Since it was really cold in the morning I decided to change once I got to school. When I did change I was wearing my blue Joe Boxer pj pants that have moons all over them and a blue pj shirt that had stars and moons all over it that glows in the dark. I also wore my fuzzy blue house socks and a pair of fuzzy blue slippers. Since it was wacky hair day as well I changed my hair four times throughout the entire school day. It was really fun to see everyone in their pajamas and with funny looking hair. Uh… I don’t quite remember most of the school day but then again we were only walking around in our pajamas.
After school my mother, my sister and I went to Bath & Bodyworks and bought some new smell good stuff. I got Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray and Vanilla shower gel. However my mom and sister don’t know why I got that combination of smells because they don’t like the way my shower gel smells but I like it anyways.
By the time you read this post I think it will be Saturday night so, have a good night or day or whenever you read this.

Gomen nasai! Gomen nasai! I would have posted last weeks post last week but alas, I was at my dad’s house in Michigan and had the “joy” of taking care of several small children at the same time. I didn’t have any time to get on theO or check my mail at all last weekend. Unfortunately that leaves you with more to read. I’ll try to make this weeks post not so long so it doesn’t take as long to read. I'll probably post last weeks post tomorrow so you don't have to read two weeks of posts today. Gomen nasai once again! Please forgive me! T_T

Today nothing special happened. I did find my tie though and wore it to school today. But on Saturday night I smashed my toe against the china cabinet which caused my baby toenail to split in half. It was quite painful at first but the pain has dulled now. No blood was shed. Man, my feet always seem to take a beating. Remember a while ago I posted about hurting one of my toes. Maybe I should start wearing steel-toed house shoes. That might help decrease my foot injuries. *sigh*
As I mentioned earlier, my sister and I went to our dad’s new house in Michigan because they (my parents) changed the visitation rights. Well on our way back we drove through so much Amish country and it took so long. I didn’t get back home until 11:30 pm last night! But to pass some of the time we played “Name that Theme Song” on my lap top. While with our father he gave me some new music: 100 TV Themes. It was really fun to see which ones my mom and grandma knew from their times because some of them where really old. However they didn’t get some of the newer ones like Sex and the City, Everybody Loves Raymond, and… actually, that’s all that I can remember that they didn’t get of the newer shows. But they did get most of the older shows. Anyways, that’s all.

Today nothing much happened. I loaded a disk onto my desktop computer called “Voyage in Japan” and it has some really cool pictures on it and interesting information. I think I’ll look at it more tonight. Well, that’s all I’ve got.

Time 8:15 pm
Okay, poll time. What should I do for my next site theme?
1.) Daddy’s Girl – Me (made by me, obviously)
2.) Bakura – Yu-Gi-Oh! (made by me)
3.) Pegasus Bunny Love – Yu-Gi-Oh! (made by me)
4.) Kabuto – Naruto
5.) Tsutomu: Pyromaniac – Marmalade Boy (made by me)
I will tally the votes and get back to you when I have reached a verdict.

Tonight at 10:00pm my grandfather gets back from his trip. From the voice mail message he left on my phone he sounded really tired. I hope he has a safe trip back.
This morning I hurt my already hurt foot even more. I was stepping over something to get to my mirror when I hit my toe against my travel case which caused it to bleed. It was quite painful. I really should invest in steel toed house shoes.
This weekend I am going over to one of my friend’s house who is acclaimed to have not had anyone over to her house for the past seven years. Meaning, I have never seen or been in her house ever because I haven’t known her for seven years. Also, I’m going to be the only person there because there is a teen retreat this weekend that our other friends are going to and we are not. I think it’s going to be fun. She said that her mom, who was being paranoid about us not having anything to do this weekend, went into their basement and found a projector and a giant screen and is going to cry if we don’t watch a movie on it. I don’t know if she was just joking around or serious so we’re going to be watching some random movie on the, and I quote, “scary projector with the scary giant screen” in her room. This weekend should be interesting.

My, this week has gone by fast. Last night my grandpa got back from his trip and left a message on my phone to tell my grandma. He sounded extremely tired so I hope he gets enough sleep.
Today after school, I was able to see my friend that I told you guys about who had left for boarding school. However, I only could give her a hug as I ran to catch the bus home before it left. It was still nice to see her though.
Well, not much really happened today so… yeah.

Okay, for future reference, I’m going to be typing myO posts in this format simply because it is more convenient for me to do so. Also, I will be typing each day on the day that it is so I will be using the word ‘today’. I hope it doesn’t confuse you guys. Anyways, when reading Jangalian’s response to my last post, she gave me an idea. So, yes, now I am planning on cosplaying Umehito Nekozawa. Along with the cloak, I am now planning on making a Beelzenef hand puppet, getting a blue pant suit and tie and sewing the Ouran emblem on, and getting my hair done like Nekozawa. I’m going all out on this one!! So, thank you Jangalian for your input and for sparking my imagination.

Today we had to take the ITED which is the Iowa Test of Educational Development or something along those lines. It was so boring but didn’t take as long as the COGAT test we took on Friday. Also it wasn’t as cold so I was okay with it I guess.
Today the foreign exchange students from Korea officially joined our school. One is Joonsup (10th grade, male) (Yay sophomores!!) and the other is Hayji. (sp?) (9th grade, female) They are both really nice. Joon is in my first period Biology class and my eighth period keyboarding class. I had to sit next to him today and he thinks I type fast. I’m not sure about the other periods because second thru fifth is testing today and tomorrow so we’re missing a whole bunch of classes. Anyways, Hay is in band with me (she plays the flute) and in my eighth period keyboarding class. I hope they both get along with everyone and enjoy being in the states and especially here in Ohio where not much happens.
Speaking of nothing happening, there is a convention in Kentucky this month that I really want to go to! However, I most likely wont because I doubt my mom wants to spend money on some random anime convention when she doesn’t even like anime and manga. Plus we’re saving up money for the Disney trip. Oh well, I’ll try to get my grandpa to take us to the next one they have near us and at a convenient time. It seems that he’s trying to get into anime. In fact, I saw a Yu-Gi-Oh computer game in his computer room on day. Hmm…I should investigate this.
Oh, when I picked out my quote of the day, I thought that it would have been perfect for last weeks post. Just letting you know.

Let’s see, today was a day of more testing. It was horrible! We had to take the tests that I dislike the most: Math, Social Studies Comprehension, and Science Comprehension. They sucked! I didn’t even finish the math one because I ran out of time in the end. Oh well, they’re all done and over with.
Tomorrow our science teacher comes back from being with the seniors at College Days at CUC. Ugh! We have a test and our portfolios are due. Being the person that I am, I haven’t done anything to it as of yet because:
1) I have never done one for this guy before and I don’t really know how to do one
2) I think they are stupid and a waste of time to do
3) They seem soooooooooo boring!!
Yeah, those are my reasons. Oh well, I guess I’ll go do something and at least attempt to try to do what I can.
Oh, today my sister burned some music from me that she borrowed from our neighbor. It’s so awesome because most of it is songs from my favorite anime’s. For instance, I now have The Real Folk Blues from Cowboy Bebop, Let Me Be with You from Chobits, multiple songs from Naruto that I don’t know the titles to, and multiple songs from InuYasha that I don’t know the titles to. Thank you little sister of mine.
Also, today my friends and I decided to make a movie. It was my idea in the first place but I got them all involved. The inspiration was JAC Productions and their awesome cosplaying skits and Jangalian’s idea about Nekozawa. So, yes, I got my friends to agree to cosplay with me and create a video entitled When Anime Worlds Collide. We’re going to have people cosplay as Umehito Nekozawa (me!), Edward Elric (FxMxAxFxAxN), Tohru Honda, Chiyo-chan, Seto Kaiba, Chouji, either a normal person or Kankuro, that one girl from FMA that can remember whatever she reads (don’t remember her name), and a chameleon which is one person cosplaying as Kenshin, Tamari, Riza, and Izumi. There’s also going to be one other person but we don’t know who she’s going to be yet. Plus, just because we think it’s funny, whenever Kaiba comes on screen we plan on playing the Emo Kid song. Unfortunately we haven’t created a plot for our story. Actually, we sort of do. All we know so far is that all the characters fall through some sort of hole in the dimensions and pass from their world and all meet in a strange new world. Yeah…that’s all we’ve got. Anyways, this day’s rant is over.

Today was the first day of actual classes in three school days. I’m so glad for my study hall! Anyways, another trumpet said he was dropping band. He says he’s going to drop it at the end of the quarter. That will leave us with only four trumpets! Curse him for leaving! You know what this means? It means that next year when Mark (first trumpet) graduates, there will be only three of us upper classmen as juniors and the freshmen! Band next year is going to suck so bad.
I printed off some more anime lyrics today. However, I couldn’t find one of the ones I wanted. I searched and searched and searched but couldn’t find it. I guess I’ll try later, as in on Friday after I post this extremely long post. Well, that’s all I have to say for today.

Sorry that I forgot to type a rant for Thursday. It's just that when I got home my sister and I watched a video from our moms work with her. It was very boring. Afterwards, I had to do my keyboarding homework. It was very boring as well. After that, I inked my InuYasha parody comic. It wasn't too boring, just time consuming.
Anyways, today not much happened except for the fact that my sister made me hit my head on the front door. See, I was home from school and had unlocked the door and was leaning in as I opened it because I had too much stuff to carry. However, for some reason she slammed the door shut right into my head and it hurt like heck. After taking a few steps inside, I felt a sharp pain cross my forehead which hurt as well. That was not the best way to end the school day.
This up coming week is spirit week. I'll tell you more about it next week when it acctually happens. Well, that's all I have to say.

For those of you who don't know...

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series It's that time of month again....No, not THAT time of month. It's the time of month where I change my theme to another one of my top favorite anime characters. Here we have Takashi Morinozuka from Ouran High School Host Club. Yes, another character from the same anime as Nekozawa. He is awsome is he not? (Takashi that is)

Sorry that I am posting late. I would have posted on Friday but I had a play practice to attend to that went late into the night. Or rather, later into the night than we expected. Therefore, when I got home, I ate something then went to bed. The pirates life for me...Yes, that is my excuse.

Nothing really interesting happened this week. *ponders this past week for a while*
Acctually, in keyboarding class I reached a 113 gwam. I feel so proud of myself! That is the fastest I have ever typed in my life so all the freshmen that my friend and I have to take this class with are angry with us because we can type faster than they can. Well, sucks for them!

I went out to the fabric store tonight to get material for a cloak. It's going to be black with a purple flame on the back and purple lining for the hood. I'll try to get a pic up when I'm done.

   My Not so National Holiday

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Hello everyone. Get ready for this post because more things happened this week than last week and I need to vent per-say.
______________________________________________________
Okay, this wasn't the best of weeks to say the least. For several consecutive days I had been staying up to 11 or later even on school nights and it finnaly caught up to me. On Tuesday, it all caught up to me and I was soo tired at school but I dare not sleep in class. Why was I staying up late? Well sometimes it was because I was doing my homework that I hadn't done earlier in the day. Other times was because I was doing something on my lap top like working on the website for the Purple Flame. The good thing is that lately I've been trying to go to bed earlier so that I won't be so tired at school in the morning.

Thursday, September 21 was, and forever will be, National 'Amber's Gonna Try to not Speak for a Day' Day. Yes, I just made it up. Anyways, I held through for most of the day up until the period right after lunch where we were put into groups and I had to say something in order to get anything done. The period after that I started to talk a little more, but once I hit the last period in the day I just had to talk so I was making up for all the silence I held throughout the day.
Now, National 'Amber's Gonna Try to not Speak for a Day' Day wasn't all good. During Geometry the kid sitting next to me and the kid sitting behind him were frustrating me when the kid sitting next to me said something that made me angry. Since I couldn't talk and express my anger verbaly, all the anger that would have and should have come out in words came out in the form of a painful experience for the most sensitive part of the male anatomy. At first I thought that I had got him in the ribs, but not long after I was informed that I hit just a little further south. When I first executed this action I had no regrets and felt that he deserved it. But as my day went on, guilt hit me like a tidle wave and I felt so bad that it acctually hurt and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was wrong for me to do that to him and I knew it, no matter how much I thought he deserved it. It was so not like me to do something like that either. So, after school I apologized to him and he accepted my apology but he said it didn't hurt anymore and that it would have been better if I had apologized when he was still in pain. When he said that, it hurt me a little but I deserved it after what I had done to him so there is no resentment in my heart towards him.
______________________________________________________
Despite the fact that it was National 'Amber's Gonna Try to not Speak for a Day' Day, the girl who had left for boarding school came back to visit. It was so exciting seeing her again and I hugged her twice and said that she had abandoned us, but I was just kidding. She would come for Fall Fest, but she can't make it. Oh well.
______________________________________________________
On Friday, all the people in chior were gone for something. I don't remember what it was called but it was some trip. So, since most of my friends are in the chior they were all gone. But, oh well. The band is planning a trip to Alberta for a music festival. Also, my mom, my sister, and I will be leaving in Febuary to take a vacation to Disney World in Floridia so that should be fun.
______________________________________________________
I don't know if I told you guys about the story I was writting last school year but, I finnished that notebook and I've started on a second notebook continuing the story. I colored the cover for it already and it's all SD and pretty. However, since I don't know the Japanese word for 'storm' one of the characters doesn't have their name on them. I need to remember to look that up because I keep forgetting.
______________________________________________________
Next week we get to take the PLAN test. It's some random standardized test that supposed to be like the preliminary ACT or SAT. I don't remember which. Then in October we get to take the ITED and in May or March we get to take the OGT for the first time. When I say first time, I mean that if we dont' pass it we get another chance in our Junior and Senior year. Oh the joys of being a Sophmore. I took the Practice OGT last year an it took so much time for each segment and it's so boring. I hate standardized test's. They're so life sucking.
______________________________________________________
On October first, one of my friends(the Dark Lord of the Purple Flame) and I(the Left Hand) are going shopping for the Purple Flame. However, we don't know where we're going to get the money for our venture so that's a predicament that we need to solve. If I had a job I would gladly support our cause. However since I'm not 16 yet, I can't work for the school during school hours. Also, I can't get a job elsewhere because I don't have a ride to and from work. I can't drive myself because I dont' have my temps or a lisence or a car so that plan is out the window. Oh well. We'll figure out something.
______________________________________________________
Oh, my friend that I'm going shopping with got a pet snake. He's a black and white Californian King snake and he's so cute...for a snake that is. She's brought him to school several times. Unfortunately he hasn't eaten in 2 1/2 weeks and he wont eat when she tries to feed him. She says that when she put's the pinky(baby mouse/rat) in his cage he just looks at him and then when the pinky eventualy dies, he wont eat it then. I think she said they were going to take him to the petshop they got him from and have them force feed him. That sounds so sad. Oh, and by the way, she named him Salazar and he is officially our organizations mascot.
_____________________________________________________
~Revison Time!!~
Okay, I was just informed that they took Salazar back to the petshop and received another one that looks just like him. Unfortunately, Salazar may be dead because my friend said that he escaped from the petshop. I hope he's alright.

Okay, last week I mentioned the thing about Survivor and how they were split by race right? Well, someone asked what Asians they had on there or something along those lines. Well, they only have people there from Taiwan, Korea, and some other country that I don't remember, but noone was from China.
_____________________________________________________
I was watching According to Jim and there was this one part that was really funny! I don't remember the characters names but one of the little girls said to like her neighbor or aunt or whatever:
Little Girl: Guess what?
Woman: What?
Little Girl: I have a bagina!
Everyone else: ...
Woman: (after a few seconds) Hey, I have one too!
That episode was quite interesting. The show is acctually a pretty good show.
____________________________________________________
You know what I've realized? Basically all the characters in Naruto have what I call a sad episode or two. What I mean by a sad episode is that they show flashbacks of a certain characters sad and depressing childhood. They have one for Naruto, Gaara(which is the ubber saddest), Chouji(which is also sad), Sakura(which isn't too sad), Sasuke(which is depressing), Kiba(which really isn't too bad), and Rock Lee that I know of. The ones that were real tear jerkers where the ones for Gaara and Chouji. I cried when I saw their sad episodes. Just thinking of them makes my eyes water. Well, I should get off the subject before I become a supper dupper spoiler monster which I have been know to be.

I have discovered that the gas station by my grandparents house has the lowest gas prices in the Miami Valley, or so I believe. The last time I checked, which was on Sunday, September 17, it was down to $1.98! Remember back in the day when everyone was angry and frustrated that the price had gotten up to $1.98 and now we worship when we see it. My bus driver said that she remembers when she would get angry if the price got over a dollar. Oh how we yearn for days of old.
____________________________________________________
Today (Friday) in band, all the girls had to go choose what our band dresses where going to look like. I got to model one of the ones they had brought in but it was too big on me. Once we chose the style of the dress, colar, and sleves we got fitted so they could order our dresses. (insert sarcastic 'Wee!' here) When we did get fitted I found out that I was aproximately 5'10" and my friend with the snake has shrunken from 5'3" to 5'2". Quite interesting really.
____________________________________________________
Well, that was one long post but at least I got it all out of my system. *sigh* Who knows, I may have more or less to write next week depending on how it goes, but it will most likely be less. Well, see ya later. I'll go to all your sites after this, I promise! But only if you've updated in the past week. I mean, I can't really go over the same thing you had last week right? Okay, I'll stop talking or rather typing now.

   Hello...I guess...

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series *sigh* Not much has happened in my life. Uh...I wore green today...um...I watched most of the Naruto episodes I have. Oh, speaking of watching, did anyone else watch the new season of Survivor? They're splitting the groups by ethnicity no naturaly I was interested in the aisan group. However, I was sorely disapointed. Why you ask? Because there wasn't a single Japanese person there!! I wonder why?

   Hi Hi!

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Welcome back! Nothing really happened this week. It was pretty boring and monotonous. However, I did have a geometry and a biology test yesterday. Oh, did you know that the teachers of those two classes are brothers? So I have two Mr. Ross's in one day. Both of them are pretty strict too. But they can be fun sometimes. When I'm going through the hall, though, I confuse them because they look alike. But you know what the sad thing is? There is a girl in my class named Tanya Mae, and she is the daughter of one of them and the other is her uncle! How would you feel if your father and your uncle taught you at school? It would be pretty weird for me.

Tomorrow, our class will be rafting/having super and vespers. I think it's going to be fun even though there is a low possibility of white water. I hope it's not too cold for it. Speaking of white water, I like white water rafting. When I used to go to camp, we would go each summer we were there. One year, I fell out the raft and won a "brand new, sharpened pencil" (sarcasm, woo hoo) for being the youngest person to fall out of the raft and survive. It was fun though. I like the thrill of going through the rough currents and paddling to survive, so to speak. I just love the water.

Oh yes. Thank you one and all for all the visits to myO site. It makes me happy to know that there are people out there who take some time out of their day just to come and read what I have to say. It fills me with joy and I thank you all!

   Surprise Surprise...

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Ever since the old band director left, our high school band has dwindled. One of the trumpets dropped yesterday leaving us with five. We now only have one clarinet, three or four flutes, two tubas, three baritones, five or six saxiphones, one french horn, a handfull of trombones, and five percussionists. It's sad really. We need more members badly.

At the moment, I'm in study hall with nothing to do. I don't have homework as of yet because it's only second period. Boredom has struck.

Ah yes! I watched the first fifteen episodes of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! and it's really funny. Sosuke is freaking awsome! It's funny how he always carries around a gun and explosives with him and applies military tactics to everyday life. One scene that I really thought was funny was when they were in an arcade and he ran out of ammo in the game. Since he didn't know how to reload he took out a real gun and shot the machine. Now that was funny. I haven't watched the original Full Metal Panic but what I've seen is awsome.

   Ubber Long Time

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Gommen nasai! I'm sorry that I haven't been on recently and that this post is long overdue. It's just that I had school and last friday all the high schoolers when on a retreat so I couldn't update on friday. Please accept my deepest apologies. *bows*

For those of you who don't know, my grandpa went on a trip to aisia again and he just got back today...or rather the day before yesterday. Sorry, it's just that by the time I post this it will be the day after tomorrow which is sunday and not friday. Besides I would have posted it on saturday but the system was down and I couldn't access the site...anyways. His flight was delayed and therefore so was his luggage. So, it's coming in later tonight.

My friends and I formed an organization called the Order of the Purple Flame. Don't ask how it got started, it was really stupid.

By the time all of you guys who regularly read my site read my site, I will have reached 500+ visits. Unfortunately, I have not finnished the drawing I said I would do. Yes, I know I'm lazy, but I also have very important school work to do. Oh who am I kidding, I'm lazy. So, I will make another pic on the computer. You know, I think I'll just make pics on my comp for all this stuff from now on. I'm just to lazy/busy to draw serious pics now a days. Oh, how I yearn for the days of yon...

I worked more on the story that I posted the first two paragraphs for you earlier this month(or was it last month). However, I'm stuck on this one part and I don't know how to continue on. You know, this is what happens with most of my stories that I never finnish. I start off with a good begining but then I get stuck somewhere and never end the story. Either that or I just keep writting and writting and writting and the story never ends 'cuz it goes on and on my friends. I need to learn how to end things besides school papers.

I found a new show that I like called Scrubs. When I first heard about it, way back then, I thought it was going to be just another dumb hospital melow drama/soap opera. I mean, it sounds like one right? Well, a few days ago, I decided to watch it because there was nothing else on. And you know what? It's really funny! I never knew how funny it was. It's full of stupidity, but it does have its serious moments too, don't get me wrong. But I like it. It makes this Amber happy!

   We're ANIME-niacs!

"How many 'n''s are there in 'Funk'?" -Gaara of the Funk; Naruto: The Abridged Series Hi! Since school starts for me next week here's how it's gonna go down. During the school year I will only update on fridays. I will be giving a summary of the week, a quote, and an avvie. When I go on breaks or I am sick, I will update more often. Also, I won't be able to update untill next friday. This thursday through saturday I will be gone on a retreat with the school so I will not be updating. That is all.

Yesterday I had another crying moment. I was watching Full Metal Alchemist when I got to the episode where Hughes dies. It was soo sad how they randomly shot him. And then at the funeral his daughter was asking why they were doing what they were doing to daddy(see todays quote). I just teared up and it broke my heart to see him die, just like it broke my heart to see how they treated Gaara as a child. Now the show's not going to be the same without Hughes. *bows* Namu ami dabutsu.
