The Curse - chapter 2!
Chapter 2 - One Little Mistake

Haruko was running around in the house, trying to find her necklace. Then, she finally found it, under her pillow. “I have one more minute to get out,” she said to herself, “from here on out, I must not make any stops, or any mistakes if I want to make it out in time.”
She started running to the front door, when something caught her eye. She slowly turned her head to the right, and looked down. It was an envelope, with a seal on it. She slowly started walking towards is. She bent down and picked it up. She tried to open it, but couldn’t.
Then, she heard a voice, “You cannot open it, unless the curse catches you.” It was the voice of the witch. She held the envelope tightly in her hand, slowly got up and turned around. And there stood the witch, with the hood sill covering her face. The witch disappeared. Then, Haruko suddenly remembered that she had to get out of the house. She heard the voices of her family members calling out, “20 more seconds. 10 more seconds.” she tried to get out as quickly as she could, but it was too late. The stop that she made to pick up the envelope was a small mistake. But even the littlest mistake ruined her life forever. To the family, the house looked dead, haunted, and dirty. When Haruko came out, she had a sad, and panicked look on her face. The family knew what happened. They didn’t know what to say to her, how to act, they just stood there, starring at her in wonder.

Story!
hi every1, this is the story that yuuko ichira and i are writing. please leave comments, thanx. we are open for suggestions.

Chapter 1 - The Curse


December 31, last day of 1999, and everyone was getting ready for New Years Day. As midnight was getting closer and closer, the skies were getting darker and darker. Storm clouds were coming in quick, and the wind was picking up. At the Genta resident, people were getting ready for the countdown. Everyone was happy. No one was sad, and no one was worried. Little did they know that something awaited them, and something not pretty at all. While the people were enjoying their party, down below in their basement was a witch, mumbling a spell/curse. “When the clock strikes 12, anyone in the house will face doom, terror, and a lifetime of sorrow, pain, and torture. And not only to that one person, but to generations to come, the decedents of that person. The spell/curse can only be broken by the generation/decedents of the person that defeats me in battle,” were the words of the witch, the spell/curse she was putting on the house. “But that’s not all,” the witch said, “from now on, every year when the clock strikes 12, the spell/curse will get stronger. The person that gets the spell/curse at 12 o’clock, will not be able to move to a different place. The spell/curse will follow them for all eternity,” were the last words of the spell/curse. “Now, time to warn the family.”
An hour before 12 o’clock, there was a knock on the door of the Genta resident. “Come in,” said Makoto (the father). The door slowly opened, and there stood the witch, covered with a black cape like outfit. Her face was covered by her hood, giving an extra scare. The wind was blowing in through the door. She slowly took a step forward. Then another step. Then another, slowly walking into the living room, where the family was sitting. “When the clock strikes 12, anyone in the house will face doom, terror, and a lifetime of sorrow, pain, and torture. And not only to that one person, but to generations to come, the decedents of that person. The spell/curse can only be broken by the generation/decedents of the person that defeats me in battle.” The family, was terrified. It was silence for a long moment. The eyes were fixed on the witch, no one dared to talk. After a long while, Makoto started to talk, “That’s not going to happen,” he said. “You fool! Don’t believe me and all of you will be miserable for the rest of your lives. I decided to warn you, and see who’s foolish. I repeat, the one that is in this house when the clock strikes 12, will be cursed.” the words of the witch pierced everyone’s hearts. “But that’s not all,” said the witch. “Oh great, there’s more?!” Makoto asked, his voice full of fear and anger. The witch lifted her head a little, just enough to be able to look Makoto in the eye. When there was eye contact, an evil grin settled upon her face. Makoto was staring in panic, fear, and confusion. He didn’t know what to do, or say. He just stood there. The silence was continuos. The silence was creeping up on everyone, and everywhere. For a long time, the silence ruled. Then, the silence that ruled for so long, and stood so long, was broken by the creeping voice of the witch, “From now on, every year when the clock strikes 12, the spell/curse will get stronger. The person that gets the spell/curse at 12 o’clock, will not be able to move to a different place. The spell/curse will follow them for all eternity.” Those words left the family terrified, and full of fear.
“You have 15 minutes to get out of the house. Take all the possessions that are important to you and leave. You may return at 12 o’clock, on January 1. Anyone who enters the house between that time, will carry the spell/curse,” warned the witch. “Now you have 14 minutes.” As those words were spoken, she started fading a way, second by second. When she was gone, out of site, the voice was heard for the last time, “13 minutes.” The family, was running all over the place. Panic, fear, terror, and all those things were felt in every heart and mind. Haruko was the second oldest daughter of the family. Haruko means Spring Born. Her hair was jet black, and straight. It was flowing down like a water fall over her shoulders. She was very mush into the latest fashion. I guess you can say she had a passion for fashion. She had black bellbottom pants, and a black shirt. The shirt was tight, and formed to the shape of her body. The words of the witch echoed in her head. Seven minutes till 12, and everyone was heading out the door. The Genta family was outside the gate, staring at the house to see what will happen. Four minutes till 12, and all was silent. Haruko’s voice broke the silence, “I forgot the necklace Grandma gave me when she died!” Silence. “I have to go get it,” she said. “NO! You can’t, it’s too dangerous!” Said Hiroko, her mom. “We can get it when we come back,” said Hisano, her older sister. “NO, I need it now, “ Haruko shouted, as she ran in the yard, and into the house. “HARUKO!!!!!!!!!! HARUKO!!!!!!!!” The family was yelling. But nothing. No one came out. She was still in the house. “One more minute,” yelled Makoto in a panicked/worried voice.
