myOtaku.com: Zakuro Rose

Introduction

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm Zakuro Rose. You may call me Zakuro, Rose or ZR for short. I'm a girl with a hint of tomboyish-ness and is a bit eccentric.

I usually write about the two main characters from a light novel I am making that I hope will be published and turned into an anime someday. Please do not steal or copy any of my stories, drawings, original characters, or plot ideas (I'm really lenient with this one, so if you really want to use it just do something to make it distinctive) without my permission.

I do take requests for stories and artwork, but please remember they are only requests. Please go here to see things that you should keep in mind when placing a request. An agreed request might take along time to finish since I procrastinate, am lazy, and have to be in a writing/drawing mood. I also do trades! Please go here to place a request or trade.

I also have a wide taste in music. I like hard rock, alternative rock, rapcore, and alternative and nu metal. Some of my favorite bands are Linkin Park, Papa Roach and My Chemical Romance.

Updates

Alright, sorry I wasn't posting for a while guys. My bad. Anyways, um... nothing much going on here. Except I was put as the set manager for our school play. So I'm in charge of set design, publicity (poster artwork), costuming, and other stuff that I can't remember. We're doing a modified version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

Let's see, what else. I've been going through my Linkin Park phase again for the second or third time. I've been watching LPTV (which is actually kinda amusing). As soon as I get done here I'm going to watch their music video for "Breaking the Habit". You know, why don't I just post it for today's video? It's done by Gonzo, which is a Japanese anime studio which animated Kiddy Grade, Afro Samurai, Black Cat, Transformers: Cybertron (a favorite of my brother), Basilisk, Trinity Blood, Chrono Crusade, Last Exile, Full Metal Panic!, and some others, just naming some popular ones (or at least ones I've heard of). The last part that shows the band was shot (live-action) and was later rotoscoped (basically animated by tracing each frame). It's pretty cool, check it out.

Anyways, I am so upset because my favorite character in the Gunlinger Girl manga, Pinocchio, has a very short lifespan. What I'm really upset about though is that I was waiting for over a year to see his final moments. For those of you who read the manga, I won't spoil his death. But the thing is, I just got the long awaited 4th volume, and find out that he doesn't die until the fifth volume! He wasn't even shown in the fourth. The good thing is that the fifth volume comes out sometime this month, but I can't wait!

Another thing about it is that I'm sure you have all heard about the second season of Gunslinger Girl in the making (and If you haven't...oh well). This is gonna take a look at the Pinocchio arc. I'm happy and upset about this. I'm happy because my favorite character is gonna be animated and I get to hear him and all of that. But I'm upset because it totally ruins my plans. My plan was to give Pinocchio a good size secondary character role in my story, and since he wasn't such a popular or well known character I could get away with this pretty easily without too much fuss. But now a lot more people's gonna know who he is. Oh well, I'm still gonna use him. He's to far into my planning stage to be replaced now.

Ok, well, enough of my ranting. I'll answer the questions from the last post.

1. Do you think My Chemical Romance is an emo (or even a sellout) band?
Answer: Not really, they're just different. I admit they're all a bit crazy, but it's cool. Besides, Gerard is obsessed with death, which doesn't actually equal emo.

2. Would you guys rather have me start on drawing a new background, or upload more fanart?
Answer: I think I'll do both, though the later will probably happen before the first.

3. How do you guys feel on friends lists?
Answer: I just hate people who sign your guestbook and not even visit you, but expect you to add them as your friend. I think this is because they also expect you to sign their guestbook in return, and gain popularity. Now, this might not be true for everyone, and I understand that. Yeah, it's cool to be well known, but myO isn't exactly a popularity contest. This isn't mySpace.

I am not very good with love stories (drawings are okay), in my opinion. I can try though. I do not do nudity or strong sexual content (especially in drawings). I can do light sexual content, but it will be nothing more than barely PG-13. In short, no hentai but some ecchi.
