| Crossposting everywhere, I'm not typing this twice.
Today's shift was... dually sad and happy.
It was a nice cool, cloudy day at Subway. Pretty slow, so I took my drawing facilities out to the lobby to work on my art.
(For the sake of Customers Suck readers)
So it came to be that 2 cars pulled up simotaneously. Nothing unusual, but still bothersome. Of the two, one was a relatively cute girl, and the other was my old nemisis... the Chicken Sandwich bitch.
My former encounter with the wench.
The wench got in line first, and in an arragant tone, "What's with that look on your face. It's my business that pays you, so you better suck it up." And not even a "hello", or "what can I get for you today" out of me yet. "Get me what I gots last time." she says, and I swear she muttered dumbass under her breath. So, as before, footlong chicken strips, toasted, so on and such.
Girl behind her had a look of pity on her face.
I made the wench's sandwich and politely confirmed if she wanted chips or a drink. Aparently, this is now a racial slur, and she flew off the effing handle/hinge (whatever the saying is), she demanded I STFU and tell her her dammed total. Then she proceeded to throw a 20$ at me. Girl behind her was shocked. (As a side note, I don't know what it is that makes people keep up with the people in front of them when they haven't ordered yet, but this is crucial to know)
Now, I have my things set on a table closest to the soda machine/register. On that table is my former work-in-progress, finished drawings, my pencils, and my soda. I give the wench her change, and she turns around, and for no reason other than to be a bitch, knocks my soda over onto my drawings. WHAT THE F*CK?
To my further suprise, the girl moves over to the table, and grabs my pencils and other drawings (which were stacked). I lost my work-in-progress.
*Edit* A HUGE misconseption. I seem to have failed to say the girl that grabbed my things in fact SAVED them from being ruined. She didn't steal a thing. The wench knocked over my soda and left.
I was pissed, and nearly in tears for having something I worked hard on destroyed, and nearly everything else I had with me. The girl felt so sorry for me, I got a hug and kiss on the cheek when I went to clean up the mess.
So... as though Karma nearly willed it, while I started to re-create my former drawing, I had a customer come in. Aparently they had seen me drawing before. Guy told me he had some project for some college course, regarding making a band, Cd cover, shirt design and so on. He named his 'band' Subway Sounds, and asked if I could trace one of the logos so he could use it as a template.
Awesomeness.
This concludes another rant by Zappa_slave.

Zappa: We should NOT have been open today. 20 transations... I'd even written them down with the intent of whining on Customers Suck, but I left it at work. Meh.
Sadako and I had a nice sit outside before it started raining. I like that kind of weather. Cloudy, dusk just setting, cool with a slight breeze.
Bliss.
I ripped a new .mp3 CD today. All video game music, including the new Guilty Gear, S.S.H., and OC remix tracks. My CD/mp3 player seems to like the new GG tracks as much as I do. I keep it set on Random All tracks.
Today I heard:
Keep in Gates x2
Conclusion (remake) x5
Meet Agian (remake) x3
A Fixed Idea (remake) x2
Seriously... we shouldn't have been open...
And I drew Sadako with a huge Zappa plushee-bear v'v Colored to come v'v

Zappa: Ahhhh... boring little day it was.
Sadako: But, you're posting regularly agian, or trying to. I think people worry.
Zappa: But somedays nothing happens, and I don't want to bore people.
Sadako: You don't bore anyone. Didn't she tell you to stop beating yourself up?
Zappa: Yeah... kinda hard though.
She also told me not to be lonly, cuz I have my friends. But it's a different kind of lonliness I feel...
Onto less depressing matters, according to my friend Tommy, stupid people can't read green.
This came from me complaining that people don't pay attention to the "Place Order Here" sign at work. It has green lettering.
Also, I've decided that there should be an English-to-Dumbass dictionary. It will help the world of customer service!!!
And I colored and scanned the drawing everyone voted on. Time to go spam it everywhere. Should be available to the public in about 30 minutes.
(check after 1AM)

Zappa: Well, red wins. I didn't have the time to color the picture at Jenny's, but I said I was doing something else with it. Now you can tell v'v
I told a girl I like... that I like her. I can't say the feeling is recripricated, but... we talked about a couple things that resulted.
I had been thinking about this all day, and I've forgotten most of it, but what I remember is, that... I'm always beating myself up over stuff. And I'm always worried about being a burden on someone.
I even forgot everything else I was going to say about it. No matter.
I bought new earings. They're huge hoops that I'll need for my Zappa costume.
Sadako: You did another drawing today too.
Zappa: Oh yeah, I did... and I made plans for about 3 more.

70th motion - BORED!
|
Zappa: Day 2 of my 3 day suspension from work.
The story:
My office received a complaint about me, which was aparently so bad, it warranted me being fired. The only way to prove it wrong PROPERLY, was to show the security vid that caught my laptop on screen. (As you know, if I'm caught with it at work agian, I'm teh fired) So, as it stood, I was fucked either way.
This was last Friday.
Come to find out Wednesday, my general manager talked it down to a 3 day suspension, as we recently had to let go my co-worker. Had I been fired, they'd have to replace everyone else who quit, on top of 2 expirenced workers they just fired.
I'm bored. Video games only provide so much entertainment, and I have NO money to really go to anyone but Deus's house.
Once agian, I am bored.
Keep voting on my drawing. Ends on Saturday at 11pm!

Zappa: Not much goin on yesterday.
My co-worker got fired for violating the dress code too many times.
My half-brother is being a hell child; leaving the house without permission, spraying a heating lightbulb (prompting it to explode over the turtle's tank), not telling anyone the bulb exploded (resulting my manager grabing an exposed filament to a still-powered, blown up lightbulb), and being an all around loudmouth.
I have 'court' for my stop sign ticket tomorrow. I've got 120 of my own, and I'll definately have to get into the 600 for the car I'm still waiting for. Once I get this out of my way, I'll be a little more stress-free, as I'll have money agian.
Dammed VP2 won't play, cuz of the disc it's burned on.
I actually spent time with the house residents. I introduced them to Dir-en-Grey. They like.
Also, there was a 3rd drawing, if anyone looked at them on LJ. I've posted it, along with a poll over on MyO. Please vote. You can even spam the votes for your favorite color.
I might do something else with the winning color.
For the time being, I've secured a ride to Onicon with Proz. Here's hoping I get that dammed new car.
Back to your regularly scheduled juice-drinking v'v

If you can't view it on LJ... then that sucks to great compacity!
I make this effort for you!

I have a thrid image, but she has no color. I know Seth had this little voting thingy for her new layout. Where might I procure one of them? v'v
Uhm... so YEAH!!! I haven't quite played VP2 yet... but the opening video tells me that Silmeria is possibly EMO, and Hrist (whom should be effing DEAD) is a still-living bitch.
And Silmeria was in the Weeping Lillie Meadow, where Platina had died. Some ominous voice says "Thank you"... Lenneth perhaps?
And screenshots say LEZARD is being helpful. This entiles a WHAT THE FUCK!

69th motion - Norse TIME!
|
Zappa: So, good news and bad news. Bad first, cuz when I get to the good, I'm done.
I wend to the mall after work to get a new mesh shirt (as I gave my newest to Setoek). No such luck. But some friends of Jenny work at the Kraze Daze there, so I stopped by to say hi. We got on the topic of cons, and then San Japan, and her friend got all uppity. She was saying, that at some "meeting" or some odd to get sponsors for SJ, a girl (decided by me to be described as Keri) who said she was running SJ, was really rude and immature. And without money and sponsors, San Japan won't even happen. If it does, it'll suck.
As much as I would have instantly stuck up for my friend, all I could legitimately say was, "I'll talk to her about it."
So, consider this my inquiry Keri. Whus the status? I don't need huge details, but are things looking good or bad?
Other bad news, we wasted about an hour and a half driving to some supposedly haunted train tracks. It's supposed to be, if you park over the tracks and put said vehicle in neutral, you'll be 'pushed' off the tracks by ghosts of little kids.
Really, it's just a slant in the road.
Problem: The road's been leveled out.
In good news though *drags the girls along* I have Valkyrie Profile 2. So... bai!
Sadako: Wheeee...
Verdandi: Oh my! Zappa...!

Verdandi: Ahh! Zappa's being problematic!
First he leaves me and Miss Sadako here without warning to go to his sister's friend's house.
Then YESTERDAY he puts Honey Mustard in his friend, Jenny's ear
Sadako: That's not him being problematic. He's having fun.
Verdandi: But... how is putting condiments in one's listening oraphace, entertainment?
Zappa: When she's the one who goes walking into it!
Verdandi: That doesn't give you any right to stick it in a path where she could.
Zappa: Lighten up Verdandi, kthxbai v'v
Verdandi: You're...
Zappa: You're a STORYBOOK!!!
Verdandi: I'm what?!?!?
Sadako: He's being childish. You prefer him to be mopey and upsetting his friends?
Verdandi: I suppose you have a point.
Sadako: That tends to happen.
Zappa: v'v
