Scrapped Princess
Pacifica Cassul-
Pacifica Cassul is the adopted younger sister of Shannon and Raquel, and the one referred to as the Scrapped Princess--the poison that will bring about the end of the world. Thrown away at birth and presumed to be dead, Pacifica wound up in the care of the Cassul family and grew up a bright and cheerful girl without a care in the world. Though once it was learned that the Scrapped Princess was still alive, the kingdom and the followers of the God Mauser have hunted her relentlessly in an attempt to kill her before her sixteenth birthday.
Pacifica loves her brother and sister very much, and feels bad that they have to endure such hardships because of her. However, she's not above forcing them to do all of her chores, and has an endless list of complaints which she voices freely. She ends up arguing a lot with Shannon, but gets jealous if someone else tries to steal her siblings' attention away from her. Her bright and optimistic outlook on life tends to brighten the days of those around her, and even forces those who seek to do her harm to question whether this girl truly is the harbinger of destruction that the oracles claim she is.
The story line -
the end of the world. An impending catastrophe usually foretold by fringe soothsayers and fanatical fundamentalists for generations, but whose warnings usually go unseen by society as a whole. However, when the holy oracle of the Mauser faith, the world's dominate religious order, foretells of such a calamity should a young girl be allowed to reach her 16th birthday, the entire world bands together to try and prevent the coming apocalypse from happening.
This is where Pacifica Cassul enters the picture. Branded as the poison that will bring about the world's destruction, Pacifica has been hunted relentlessly by the followers of the Mauser faith, who desperately seek to eliminate her and prevent the coming calamity foretold by the great oracle. Believing in their sister's innocence, Pacifica's brother and sister use their talents in swordsmanship and sorcery to protect their sister from harm as they travel the countryside in a laborious effort to keep Pacifica safe from those who wish to see this "Scrapped Princess" dead.
Produced by Studio BONES, the critically acclaimed animation powerhouse behind Escaflowne, Full Metal Alchemist, and the Cowboy Bebop Movie, as well as being based on the popular manga serialized in Dragon Comics, this 24-episode series of swords and sorcery is sure to leave fans spellbound by its enchanting characters and captivating storyline.
anyhoo, i watched the first 4 episodes of this today, it was really good! i loved it.
i recommend you all watch it too cause its really cool :P
