Today, Mr. Benett had to stay home because his son was sick with the temperature of 102 degrees, so all of the 6th graders had to go into Mrs. Calvin's room.
Then everyone went to church again so that the Christmas play people could rehearse. This time, I brought Alice's Adventures in Wonderand and my sketchbook, as well as a pencil.
I sat farther away from the rehearsing-people than I did last time.
When I got to the part of Alice when they were playing croquet with porcupines and flamingos, Sickle Moon said to me, "The spiders are maing me tap dance... and I'm like, "They want to control us, yes, they want to control us, for they are eeeevil and will take over our mind!!!'" Then she went on and on about those spiders, and then it was time to go back to our classes.
We got all our stuff, but we didn't need it. Mr. Umphenour came up to our class and talked to us about the Concordia in China that wanted him as a teacher, and how he wasn't sure as to if he should go or stay here, about how he had to learn Russian because his wife and children were Russian, and blah, blab, blah, his life. It was somewhat interesting. Then we all went to Social Studies, where we took a test. (I hope I did alright!!)
Lunch.
Recess.
Mrs. Calvin graded papers for her classes in Science, and while she was doing that, we were doing a reveiw sheet for the chapters we read. The people who needed help didn't get alot of it, because Mrs. Calvin wasn't our Science teacher, Mr. Benett was.
Then, Grammar and Spelling. Luckily, I got my Spelling done, I almost didn't.
So we did our Grammar homework and..yay! Time to go home!
Got my stuff, went home.
