in the middle
so yeah the advent children dvd came out today and heard a little bit of it, it's pretty good.
the dub i just horrible though, not the actual voice actors but the actual matching of the words to the movements of the mouth...thats really bad it looks like one of those super old japanese...or chinese kung fu movies.
also i didn't really notice it KH2 at all but i hate tifa's voice, she seems a little to soft spoken in AC but in KH2 she had a little more attitude. where as the exact opposite is for yuffie, she's much more spunky and in your face in AC but in KH2 she seems almost laid back and calm.
i guess that has to do with the characters chaning from simple support characters to main characters though, much more room for deveopment.
also we finally get to hear the official american voices for barret, vincent and cait sith, barret sounds kinda like a token black character which upsets me a little but at the same time it does fit his character where as cait sith is scottish...seriously i heard him talk and i'm like shrek? vincent sound aboslutely perfect though, i pictured him sounding exactly like that, it's mysterious without being overly creepy, you can tell he's an ally.
and who's idea was it to make cid rrrreeeeaaaalllllyyyyy country?

edge of soul
ah thursday, finally the end of the week and woo am i tired.
but hey we get two days off next week in a row so i guess it's okay, and theres a new episode of supernatural coming tonight but veronica mars might get cancelled, that show is constantly on the verge of ending...watch it people.
also people who have english IIII in school are having a hissy fit cause they have to read the entire guliver travels book, and write one page on each chapter, then type all the pages which comes out to about 28 pages written and it'll probably be about half that typed.
but they got it easy the same teacher that gave them that assignment also teached african america lit. and they have to write a 44 page play and then type that both of which are due monday.
thank god i don't have either one of those classes and since they take so much work i'm fairly positive i'll be taking one for the first four weeks of summer and then the other for the second four weeks that way i can focus on those two classes totally and completely.
and that'll give me three english credits so it'll all work out.
also i got a C- on a math paper and i got another C- on a math test which just makes me feel real average, but it pretty much tells me i'm gonna get either a B, a C, or a D on the final which also means my final grade will be one of those so again it all works out.

tango: maureen
i taught two twenty five minutes classes today, one on mythology of various sorts and the other on japanese honorifics. it went surprisingly well and my classmates and the teacher were into it which shocked the hell out of me.
but yeah we got sidetracked a couple of times, during mythology we some how got to dreams and the meaning of life sadly i didn't get a chance to bring up pickels in the conversation.
during japanese honorifics we some how got on racial stereotypes and and cosmetic differences between korean, chinese, and japanese people.
so all and all it was a pretty interesting day, though it did turn out hot and muggy.

well we've got finals monday and tuesday so the end of second semester is drawing near.
hooray!
but i can't wait until third term it's only like five or six weeks and after that i'm gonna get a summer job and go to summer school...voluntarily, yeah i know right but it's free and i get two credits so i'm not complaining.

season's of love
has anyone seen rent, i mean at first i just watched it cause i wanted to hear seasons of love
but the over all movie was fantastic, you could kinda tell that the actors came from theater though they were...um putting alot into it i guess.
the music was really great too. there were bouncy tunes, and sad ones, and some flat out ballads.
i recommend to anyone that likes musicals or anyone that doesn't mind watching people converse in song.

anyway spring...i hate spring, everything starts to bloom, people start getting all social, cute animals start coming out of the wood work...it makes my tummy hurt.
that being said i'm pretty sure it's going to rain today or sometime soon, it's all cloudy and gray out...HOORAY!

   don't stop the music
i've been having the weirdest dreams lately.
and most of them have been kinda precognitive which is creepy all in itself.
did i ever tell you guys about the time i had a dream in the sixth grade about being in a strange class room with strange people and this ugly map in front of me.
well fast forward like three years and i'm in my freshman year in high school and my world studies class is the same one i had a dream about three years before, and i start to have a minor panic attack and serious deja vu and have to be excused from class and i feel sick and stuff...is that not the weirdest thing ever.
and stuff like that happens to me constantly!
but anyway the dream i had last night, i have a dream that someone was in my room sitting on the corner edge of my bed, just sitting and looking and the wall just being still. and something was really attracted to me left arm, there was either something warm and kinda heavy in it that was also fairly bright or something really bright was holding it...whats that about?
and there was that ghost in my room that one time so this dream was a little eerie for me.
oh and like two nights before when i was sleeping, i could like feel a bad dream coming on and when i have a bad dream it's usually really, really, super awful so i felt one coming on in my sleep mind you so while i was like in the dream the shade in my room flew up from wind and in the clouds and stars i saw a face that i'm pretty sure was jesus and i woke up praying.
and stuff like this has been happening to me since i was a kid.

   over it
i'm NOT sleepy...i had a nap today...and i know i said i was gonna stop posting about KH2 but just one more thing.
NO ONE HAD BEATEN SEPHIROTH. seriously, every faq i read said once you beat him you get such and such, or it's a tough fight so don't get hit...are you serious.
also i have a question, how many of you guys have catch phrases.
i have a couple i say atleast once a day.

1.kill yourself(i say this when someone says something unbelieveable...for example the world is going to explode...it's pretty much the same as omg shut up).

2.Question-"brandon whats your favorite food"/What did you have for dinner last night". Answer-"SOULS"

3.ooh i hope you don't die(i usually say this after someone says something like i had two pepsi's at lunch or i just hit that wall).

4.ooh your gonna die(same as above)

5.hara kiri(same as kill yourself only a little more extreme.)

6.slap yourself(when someone says something stupid like is the beef from a cow?)

7.i say this one a couple of different ways depending on how i feel. parish, just perish, would you perish, i wish you would perish, perish okay...just perish.(this is pretty much the last step in the kill yourself catch phrases(Kill yourself being just a funny way of saying shut up, harakiri being away of saying i wish you would leave me alone, and perish is a way of saying i wish the large angry moose would come and trample on your head).

8.step your life up(when someone is doing nothing at all when they should be, like usually in school when we have a group assignment and theres that one person that doesn't do anything...say step your life up)

9.step your existance up(an upgrade from step your life up, this is for use in an everyday situation when a person never does anything i.e. a dead beat dad)

10.i really do hate you, seriously...i hate you with the white hot intensity of every planet's sun that has ever existed in every galaxy and universe ever in the history of god.

and the worst one ever.

11.you will die the most horrible, most terrible, most painful, most unimaginable death ever as long as i exist the only solace you will get is icy torrent that is the onset of death and the crippling realization that your soul is to be eternally damned in the company of satan...i have to go now...have a nice day.

so there they are, my main catch phrases...i think you'd be surprised to know how often use the dreaded number eleven.
