today was a good day. for starters, i wasn't late to school, which i almost always am. and, i had band today, and i luv band. and after school, we had a debate on stem cell research, and i think we did well but it was really close, the other team was really good. the only down part was having to take my social studies midterm, because i HATE social studies. stem cells, for those who r interested (probably no one) r pluripotent or multipotent cells, meaning they can become any type of body cells. scientists r doing experiments to c if they can regrow organs and damaged tissue for patients with cancer, or alzhiemer's or something. the down side is that they have to get the cells from somewhere, and there is a very real risk that the body's immune system will reject the new tissue and start destroying itself.
