Computer Zone 2 - Fairy Leviathan
"This is the area you've destroyed most of before, but there's still some of it active. Elpizo seems to be trying to get the code that will allow him into Neo Arcadia facilities...I wonder what he intends to do.."

Zero then got transferred to the computer zone in the Antarctic.

"Zero, it's Ciel. It seems you can't enter through the facility, but you need to break in from the outside. Be careful...."

After travelling in the light of the moon, Zero encountered trap after trap. It was like they knew he was coming. With some difficulty, Zero managed to avoid all the mines, floating bombs, and the ravenous wolves that were around to guard the perimeter. After finally breaking into the facility, he entered a room in which it filled up with water. After filling, Leviathan swam up to him.

"Hello Zero, it's nice to see you again. I'd love to play with you....But unforunatly I have no time. As soon as I defeat you, I must take care of commander Elpizo. So let's go, Zero!"

With a quick motion, Zero and Leviathan both began battling. Just as she dove at him with her trident, Zero jumped up just enough and slashed at her side. This was obviously painful, as he noticed her wince at the blow, but she kept on going. Then Zero took one charged blast and nailed her at the waist. She had no more energy.

"Hah hah hah....While playing with you, Elpizo went somewhere....I got caught up in the fun of the moment. How foolish of me... Your strength drives me crazy...Next time...I'll do better...So, see you again.."

With this being said, she teleported away, and Zero was transferred back to base.

Forest of Notus - Burble Hekelot
"This place contains the ruins of an ancient civilization.It must be the ones Neo Arcadia had been excavating...I don't understand why Elpizo would have went there though...Anyways, good luck Zero."

At the forest, Zero transferred right up to where Elpizo was.

"Hehe, are you looking for me Zero? I found out from these baby elves that I can be invincible if I obtain a certain thing."

"The Dark Elf..."

"Yes, that's right Zero. At first I thought it was just myth, but now my goal is to obtain it and gain ultimate power. There is a key to unlocking it here. Let's see who can get it first!"

With this being said, Elpizo ran off. Suddenly Ciel messaged Zero.

"...you found Elpizo. Zero, take care of him. Please.."

Zero then started following Elpizo's trail into the ruins. After avoiding many hazards, Zero made it to a room. Once he entered, he found Elpizo.

"Hehe...Finally I've found the key! Nice try Zero."

He then ran into the next room. As Zero was just about to follow, Burble Hekelot appeared.

"Wait! No one can go beyond here, ribbit! This is an order from Master Harpuia! Ribbid? Is there someone on the other side of this door? Nah...my sensors need to be replaced or something.."

Suddenly he lashed out at Zero with his long tongue, but Zero cut the tip of it off, and it pulled back quickly. THen the two fought for a bit, but Zero was in a hurry, so he quickly destroyed the Neo Arcadian. Then he went into the back room where Elpizo was.

"Gahaha, now all I must do is break the Dark Elf's seal! Then I'll be as strong as you, Zero. ...Or should I say stronger? Don't worry, I do this for world peace."

After getting what he needed, he teleported out of the ruins. Then X's spirit approached Zero.

"Sorry, Zero...I didn't expect them to have become this strong. As long as I'm protecting the seal of the main body, I'm not ready to deal with them. She is responding to her children, Zero...We have no time. You must stop Elpizo."

"Don't worry X...I'll handle things.."

Then X's spirit disappeared.

"Mission accomplished...Transfer me back."

He then went back to base.

The Bomb - Kuwagust Anchus
At the resistance base..

"Zero, the bomb on the aircraft is a special one."

"Don't worry Ciel, I'll take care of it myself."

"No! It needs to be disarmed before it can be destroyed. Zero, there's a difference between heroic and reckless..."

"...Use a portable trans server. When I get to the bomb, I'll activate it so you can transport to it."

With this being said, he left. After a bit, he was dropped from a resistance plane to an enemy craft. He now had to make his way across a few planes to get to the bomb aircraft. Once he made it to the bomb aircraft, he busted an opening into it and went it. After navigating many deadly laser security fields, and enemy forces, he made it to the bomb room. In it, he activated the portable trans server and Ciel was transported there.

"Thank you Zero....I'll need about ninety seconds. You'll have to cover me..."

After ninety seconds, the operator confirmed the bombs difusion. Once they secured their position, Ciel and Zero were ready to be transported. Zero let Ciel go first. When he was just about to go, the ship started moving, it caused much turbulance and the transfer connection was interrupted. He had to escape through a breach in the hull. After finding it, he made it to their aircraft, but was attacked by Kuwagust Anchus.

"You may have got rid of the bomb, but I can still make the aircraft crash into your base. We shall become a flaming arrow and destroy the base!"

After a few charged shots, Zero made quick work of this Neo Arcadian. His final words were:

"Brother, I'm sorry I failed to avenge you...."

After exploding, Zero made it to the base with Ciel.

Back at base, it was discovered that Elpizo went away, making Ciel the commander. His current location was unknown, but the operator played a message he left.

"Ms. Ciel...our operation has failed. You can blame my foolishness and stupidity.. I'm such a fool...I was an errand boy in Neo Arcadia. When I came here, they assigned me as a commander and I failed everyone...I was such a fool...This is all because I didn't have power...I want to be strong! All-powerful! I want to be the most powerful reploid ever... I'll destroy Neo Arcadia..and destroy all the humans. Then I'll be a true hero! "

With this, the message ended and the operators both said they tracked him down to one of four locations. Then Ciel looked at Zero.

"He took the Baby Elves...find out what he's up to."

Operation Righteous Strike
Zero went back to the command room, to find commander Elpizo. Suddenly a soldier ran in.
"Sir, we're ready to open fire!"

Then a voice came on the intercom.

"Sir, we're awaiting the signal."

Hearing this, Elpizo smiled.

"Well, it's time to launch a massive attack on Neo Arcadia. Or maybe I should say it's time to destroy it once and for all. I would like to thank the efforts of Zero, who made this all possible. Now ladies and gentlemen, B-..."

Suddenly Ciel bursted in.

"Wait! Is this really necessary? The casualties will be so high..."

Then Cerveau stepped in.

"Her research will be done soon...Once a substitute energy has been developed, Neo Arcadia loses all reasons to hunt us down. Can't we have just a little more time?"

"Silence! I'm sorry, but I must do this to protect the reploids and Ms. Ciel...Now...Begin the attack! I will join the front lines."

Elpizo transferred to the area.

Cerveau looked at Zero as Ciel went out of the room.

"Zero, please follw him. Make sure he doesn't do anything...drastic."

With this being said, Zero went off. After getting inside Neo Arcadia, Zero looked around at all the bodies of the reploid soldiers who launched the attack. He went along and encountered a few large bots, but nothing he couldn't handle. Then he found the commander in a room on the ground, with the guardians Harpuia, Leviathan, and Fefnir.

Leviathan stepped forward, and then she giggled.

"Zero, why are you so late? I was so bored that I had to retire all these reploids. All that remains is the inferior ex- Neo Arcadia citizen." Then Fefnir stepped up.

"They were too weak to have fun with....I want to face you!" Harpuia interrupted.

"Stop! Did you come to rescue this reploid? Why do you bother? He won't be thankful. And if he lives....more resistance soldiers will die. "

"I'll save this reploid... And I won't let anymore die.."

"How greedy, but can you really do that by yourself?"

Suddenly the Operator messaged Zero.

"Zero, we've detected an bomb aircraft heading for the base! Return immidiately."

Harpuia spoke again.

"We sent it. Neo Arcadia isn't a society that reploids can rebel against. If they do, they should be exterminated..."

Zero looked at him, and transferred back to base with Elpizo.

"Zero...I don't think that justice is destroying resistance forces. But, as long as they try to disobey humans, destroying them is my goal..."

Power Room - Phoenix Magnion
"Your current mission will take you to a power plant. We can exterminate all of Neo Arcadia, and there is rumour of an arms factory about 100km of this base. If we shut down the factory's power supply, our attack on Neo Arcadia will be more effective since they won't be able to make as many enemy soldiers."

With this being said, Zero was transferred to the power plant. Upon arriving, the attack by enemies against him began almost immidiately. He soon found himself against hordes of enemy troops. Aiming his buster, he charged it to it's maximum power, and let a blast off. This took out everyone that coming towards him. He did the same for the others nearby. As he progressed through the factory, he'd blast away when a large crowd of enemy soldiers came by.

Suddenly he came to a power generator. He quickly jumped on it and slashed it once, destroying it instantly. Knowing this couldn't be the only generator, he sought out the others. After awhile he found two more, and again easily destoryed them.

The fourth and (from what he could tell) final generator rested behind a door. He went in, and destroyed it. This time the explosion was different. After noticing this, he saw the explosion take form, and Phoenix Magnion appeared, as if born from the flames themselves.

"How dare you meddle in my place. What could be going through that head of yours? No matter, I shall purify your evil mind."

With a smirk, Zero got ready and said: "Heh..let's go"

The fight began, and what a surprise to Zero. This Neo Arcadian actually had potential...although he knew he'd have to destroy him nonetheless. After a few crushing blows, the enemy fell.

"I....am a phoenix..I'll just keep coming back...Until I destroy you for waht you've done..."

Upon destroying Phoenix Magnion, Zero look down at the now destroyed corpse, and got transferred back to base.

Commander Elpizo greeted him.

"Good work Zero. Our operations have been running smoothly thanks to you. Go rest up. Your task is done."

"...Right.."

After saying this, he wandered the base for a bit, and took a rest.

The Train - Panter Flauclaws
"Good work as always, Zero...Now for the next mission... There's an enemy cargo train passing by. What I want you to do is seize the cargo, and make sure the enemy does not get anything.Our troops are a bit low on supplies, so it is vital that we seize what we can."

After hearing Elpizo's briefing, Zero was off. Not too long after, Zero was transferred onto a moving train.

"Hmm....This must be the cargo train..Better find the shipment."

He began traversing the train from the rear. After destroying a whole bunch of enemies, he was at the halfway point of the train, where the cargo was. Just then, enemy carriers began to fly in. Their mission was to take the cargo to Neo Arcadia and drop it off there. Not having a minute to spare, Zero began smashing through the carriers. Finally, he had destroyed them all, and he made his way to the front of the train. All of a sudden, a blast came out of nowhere, and he jumped to the side, enough to avoid it. When he finally looked to his side, he saw another train, with Panter Flauclaws on its front.

"Grr....this is master Harpuia's territory. You shall be terminated!"

With a snarl, the Neo Arcadian attacked. Defeating this one was not as easy as the others, but still easy enough. Just as Panter fell, he mumbled: "Master Harpuia...I'm sorry I failed..."
Looking at him, now in pieces after exploding, Zero transferred back to base with another success.

Computer Zone - Poler Kamrous
"This is a sabatoge mission in which we need you to destroy the computers in Antarctica which controls the defense system of Neo Arcadia. Once you do this, the defense of the enemy stronghold will be weakened enough to carry out 'Operation Righteous Strike'."

Upon finishing his speech, Elpizo sent Zero to the newly assigned region. About a minute later, he arrived.

"Hmph....what a place for some stupid computers. I don't even know what the four computers I must destroy look like...Well, I guess I'll know when I see it."

After about thirty minutes of venturing, he came upon an odd black console.

"Hmm...these must be what I must destroy. This'll be easy.."

With a quick motion and a slash of his saber, the terminal was destroyed. The other three terminals were not as easy to find, but nonetheless, Zero found each and destroyed them. After hours of searching, he finally approached the final room.

"Hmm...Enemy signature detected."

As soon as he entered the room, a giant shadow cast by Poler Kamrous covered him. This Neo Arcadian was a big one. Not being intimidated by Poler's size, he easily destroyed the Neo Arcadian.

"Mission accomplished"

Upon defeating Poler, Zero transferred back to base. This time he actually rested a bit. After his rest, he went back to the command room to do another mission.

Forest of Dysis - Hyleg Ourobockle
"Your first mission is in the forest of Dysis. Some of our comrads got lost during an excavation, and I'd like you to find them."

As Elpizo finished saying this, Zero was transported using their trans server. At the forest, Zero met up with a reploid, and was informed on what they were looking for. It was the other Baby Elf. As soon as the reploid left, Zero went on with his own business. After destroying many enemies, he reached the Dysis.

'Now comes the fun' he thought to himself.

Upon entering the ruins, he scouted the perimeter, and felt he could easily manage such a task. After a couple of hours, Zero found the six reploids. Upon finding the sixth, he went on to the last room of the temple, where the Baby Elf was probably sealed away. As soon as he entered, he saw a resistance soldier, and a snake-like Neo Arcadian named Hyleg Ourobockle.
The soldier had the Baby Elf, and Hyleg was trying to get it.

"RUN!"

As soon as the soldier heard this, he ran as far away as he could and went back to base. Meanwhile, Zero dealt with his current problem. Without a word being said, Zero battled with the Neo Arcadian. After a few swift moves, the enemy fell to his defeat. Just as this happened, X's spirit came to Zero.

"Zero...It's been a long time. I can no longer rest. Both Baby Elves have been awakened...They are scared and frightened, and they desire to be alongside their mother, the Dark Elf. They'll do anything to accomplish this...They'll even tamper with people's minds...Anything...But as long as my body protects the Dark Elf's seal, she won't be escaping."

X's spirit went off, and Zero transported back to base.

"Thank you Zero, I knew a legendary hero like you would have no trouble with this."

Zero repaired,and ready for action!
A couple hours later, Zero found himself in Cerveau's quarters. At first, he didn't know what was going on, but then Cerveau assured him that he was ok.

"Zero, we found you in front of the base. How the heck could you let yourself get damaged so badly? You're lucky we found you when we did."

"....I made it to the base before collapsing...?"

"Well, I'm not sure what happened, but I've repaired your weapons. Your rod was too damaged though, so I had to turn it into a chain. Your buster, saber, and shield boomerang are all fine though. Oh yea, Ciel said she wanted to see you when you became functional. She's just next to my quarters."

Upon entering Ciel's room, he was greeted by an extremely happy Ciel.

"Zero...thank goodness you're alright. We were all worried about you.."

"...I'm fine. Cerveau said you needed to see me?"

"Yes, I need to talk to you about Elpizo, the commander of this base. His intentions are good...but his methods are a little rash. We're currently doing research on the myths of the 'Dark Elf', and have already found one of her children. We need to find the other before the Neo Arcadians do..."

"Say no more...I'm gone"

As he said this, Zero went to the command room and talked with Elpizo. Elpizo was delighted that Zero would help out on some small tasks. A screen lit up, and the areas, with potential Neo Arcadian threats, were shown....

Harpuia, guardian of wind
Suddenly out of nowhere, Harpuia (one of copy X's guardians,and newly appointed leader of Neo Arcadia) flew in and looked at Zero's seemingly lifeless body on the ground. After thinking for a moment, he brought Zero to the new Resistance base and left him at the entrance. Inside the base, Commander Elpizo (newly appointed leader of the Resistance base) gave a speech on the plan to take down Neo Arcadia. Just as the troops left the command room, Ciel came in and told Elpizo that she was close to developing a substitute energy. This would get rid of the human's reasons to retire the reploids. Repecting this, Elpizo said he'd wait a bit longer before attacking. Just then, a reploid entered and said Zero was found at the base entrance. Being worried about Zero, Ciel went to his aid and brought him to Cerveau to be repaired....
