(I think this smily is cute!)
I don't kno wwhere I'm going with this. I just wanted to type something recently about someone injured after a battle. This person is a strong fighter and isn't use to losing, no real background, no plot. Just working on my discription work!

Her breath came ragged. In and out. In and out. The raspy noise that rattled in her throat made her wince. She opened an eye and shuttered. She had never know pain like this. She rubbed her fingers together, they were sticky and wet from blood, her blood. She tried to sit up but the pain came so fast and furious that she let out a cry and fell back to the earth. “No!” She mentally yelled, tears streaming down her face. “It can’t end like this. There is still so much more I can do.” She tried to pull herself up but fell once more. “I will NOT die like this!” She coughed and she covered her mouth as her chest burned from the effort. When she removed her hand she was horrified to see more blood on it.

“I can’t die now!” She was the best fighter, she was their leader. What were her men suppose to do if she died. “I WILL not die!” She yelled trying to rise once more. She should have stayed down, trying to stand only showed her enemies that she was not yet dead. They approached her ready to finish her off.

With no other options she pulled out her pistol and pointed it at the three approaching men. Only one bullet left. She pulled the trigger and hit the man closest to her right between the eyes. The recoil sent her flying backwards. As she fell she chucked the gun and the next man hitting him in the nose. That was all there was left for her to do. She landed hard on the ground and had not the strength to rise once more. The end approached her but then a cry went out. “CAPTAIN!” Shots were fired and she heard two screams of agonizing death before she blacked out.

“Stay with us!” The voice was commanding and urgent. “Come on you can do it.” She opened her eyes and found herself in a hospital bed. Eyes were staring at her looking her over. A sharp pain made itself know suddenly and she cried out. The pain. “Hang in there.” An encouraging voice called to her but she was so tried.

“I can’t stop the bleeding!” Another voice called. Her chest felt heavy as if a boulder had been resting on it for quite some time. She sprung up suddenly caught in a fit of coughing. She clasped her hands tightly over her mouth but the blood dribbled out through her closed fingers.

“I won’t die here!” She told herself but it hurt so bad. “I can’t die here.” She could here voice but they were so far away. “I don’t want to die.” Slowly the pain was replaced with a comforting sleepiness. “I will not die.” Her eyes felt so heavy and they slowly closed.

“Doctor?” One of the nurses asked questionably. The doctor took her wrists in his hand and stood still for a moment. He sadly shook his head and pulled the sheet over the sleeping women’s face.

God... I'm depressing.
