See Zig-zag Panic
Good day at work. Got some reading done and finished the book A Girl In A Cage. For such a simple, easy, quick read, it was a very good story. Although Rose called me and the other student worker that was working this morning to her office because there was a "Situation With The Student Workers." When she said that it made me a nervous wreak.
The last time Rose said that it was about me, only she didn't know it. All she knew is that a student worker had taken a call and hadn't asked to take a message before hanging up. This may not seem like a big deal, but an important call was missed because of me. Figures the one time I forgot it was an important call.
But that's the past. Thankfully, this time it wasn't my fault. Apparently someone had check out someone without getting their ID card first. Rose just was reminding everyone that only staff can do that, not student workers.
So besides that, work went well. Started to pick up my stuff to leave, threw my backpack over my shoulder, reached down to pick up my computer bag... er.. where's my computer? Looked around. It wasn't there. No one could have taken it. I had been behind the desk all morning, no one could have taken it. I KNOW I had it with me when I left the house. In fact I had grabbed it from falling off the seat when I slammed on the breaks when someone cut me off this morning. Where was it.
Then I remembered... I had left it in the car.
See Zig-zag run.
See Zig-zag run FAST.
Of course, then I remembered. Today's Monday. I parked in the most used are of the parking lot. No telling how many people had walked past my car, happened to look inside to find a black bag the size of a labtop just sitting on the seat of an unlocked car, and had the nerve to steal it.
See Zig-zag run FASTER.
Made it to my car in record time, and there, on the seat was my computer. *hugs it and cries* All my homework, stories, amvs, music, and everything else could have gone bye-bye!! *happy sigh**hugs it*
Other news... left my headphones at home. *cry* No music for me today. Maybe I should get some new ones... one's that both sides work, dosen't make a weird static noise, and the padding isn't ripping off.
